The food is not bad but it is very expensive, 1 fajita taco is 4 dollars and the pozole is 18, for that reason I will not return, the food costs are very high its a shame because the food does taste good

We were craving for Pupusas and this place delivered. Decent sized pupusas, perfectly seasoned and the pickled slaw and sauces just as delicious. We also had the tacos al pastor and so far, they have been the tastiest weve eaten in Texas, even though the cook and all there are from El Salvador, lol! We will definitely be returning!

$4 for a pupusa? Yes, thats theft! The most they usually cost is $2 to $2.75. Expensive restaurant. I will not come back. $4 for one pupusa?! Yeah, thats robbery! The most they normally cost anywhere is $2 to $2.75. Overpriced restaurant. Wont be back.

I wanted so bad to like this place, I usually have great food at hole in the wall type places. I ordered barbacoa tacos and a bean & cheese pupusa. I dont think they should name it barbacoa, it was brisket. A tad over cooked and lacking flavor. The pupusas barely had any cheese or beans, it was mostly masa. Honestly, at this point in time, I can not recommend this place. They need real barbacoa and someone to fill the pupusas properly.

The food is ok, but this place needs 2 things: 1. Payment options which I think the state should mandate credit and debit for all business here in TEXAS. 2. Learn some customer service skills NOW! You walk in and they look at you, talk and treat you like a kid, even if you speak Spanish. I still remember walking in and the attendant came over, pretty much order me where to seat and then taking my order in a rude and impatient way. Here in Grapevine TEXAS ! I m never coming back until they fix this place. All the other places around here treat you so well in a nice manner, but this specific place.

If you want a butchered interpretation of Americanized Salvadorian pupusas and tacos, all while dealing with passive aggressive attitudes during Saturday lunch hours, go ahead and give your hard earned dollars to this place. I gave it a shot because it was the only place near here that served authentic Salvadorian food, and I paid for it dearly. The beans were dry and sticky, the curtido was bland and flavorless, the pupusas were flaky and the salsa was too chunky for pupusas. I could have caught them at the wrong time on a bad day, but I dont care about coincidences when Im spending good money on what SHOULD be good food. All of this just to get the most passive aggressive attitude Ive come across in a while by a lady that acted like she just needed me out of the restaurant so she could go back to doing a whole lot of something since not more than 3 people were already sat in the restaurant with their food. Ill make the drive to other restaurants even if they are further away, I learned my lesson at this place.

Just found my new go to spot! Stumbled across this place on accident and so happy to have done so. Immediately noticed the home cooking/hole in the wall vibes and I ve always loved that. We tried the carnitas, beef fajita and pastor tacos along with a cheese and chicharrón con queso pupusas. 10/10 will definitely be back for the menudo and posole on the weekends.

First time trying this place and I know this is going to be a local favorite for me now. I got the chicken fajita tacos and cheese papusas. It was delicious, great comfort food. Grilled juicy seasoned fajita chicken with onions and they have me coleslaw, cilantro, onions, and fresh homemade green salsa with them. I got them on corn tortillas. The papusas were stuffed with delicious stretchy cheese and I ate them with cilantro, onions and salsa on top. This seems like a great hole in the wall place and its been around for 25+ years, run by the same family. It was easy to get a table at dinner time and they even let my dog stay with me at my table (a small border collie send he slept beside my chair after the long day). They also have great prices - $2.5 for each taco or papusa no matter the meat or fillings in it. And you can order as many as you like. Great on my wallet. Ill definitely be back again and again. Update: Ordered tacos again, this time with GrubHub, and they didnt disappoint. Very good again! This time I got the Al Pastor chicken fajita tacos, pulled beef taco, and seasoned pork taco. The chicken is still my favorite. I love the homemade salsa and fresh flavors. Cost me a little more through GrubHub because of the fees, but still easy on the wallet and worth it. Ill be ordering again!
