A wonderful piece of local history! We went on a Friday morning and the farm was quiet but still engaging for my 4 and 1 year old. They were able to feed chickens, practice using a washboard, and explore the grounds. We will definitely be back soon for a special event!

Visited Nash Farm and found it to be less interesting than expected. There were no animals in sight during our visit, and overall, it didn t offer much to see or do. Unfortunately, I didn t find it worth the visit.

I took my wife here today. The staff was nice and the facilities were clean. I liked all of the old school farm elements. I m glad the city maintains the property. The only thing that doesn t compare as well to similar such farms is the variety of animals. Otherwise great experience.

A living museum about a family that settled on Grapevine in the late 1800s. There are hands on projects for kids & demonstrations of how chores were done back in the day. Kids can roll out cookie dough, cut it & have it baked in a wood burning stove. Chicken scratch is available for the chickens. The smokehouse has been set up to show how meats were smoked for preservation. There is livestock on sight as well as kitchen garden. The original 2 story house is also on sight. The original farm was 500 acres, now sits on 5 acres. The docents were very pleasant & knowledgeable. There are various demonstrations throughout the year. Would recommend.

It was a beautiful morning so I took my 2yo and 1yo out to explore and they loved all the chickens and sheep and tractors and piles of leaves and sticks! It was beautiful and the kids enjoyed just getting to play! All of the people we met were so kind and although we didn t go into the house this time we will be back for sure to check it out next time. :)

Great place to visit and learn about farm life. They have fun events year round. And they sell eggs in their farm store. Nice location in the heart of historic Grapevine. This property takes you away from the hustle and bustle of city life. They have multiple historic buildings, a small garden, animals, and farm equipment. There are multiple places for portrait photography. I would visit and and buy eggs. Would be a good family stop.

We really love this place. We were fortunate to find it on our 2-month stay in the Dallas area, and we came to visit Nash Farm several times. It s a nice, low-pressure place to visit with kids. They ll happily talk to you about the history, life and work on the farm. We attended a Homeschool Day while we were there, and the kids got to learn about lots of things, most of them being hands-on. They learned about the garden, laundry, making feed for the chickens, making butter, etc. It was such a fun time for the whole family. We also love buying chicken scratch from the little store to feed the chickens roaming around the property. The events they host throughout the year all sound so fun. Can t say enough good things! Wish we were still just a short drive away.

I was very impressed the with upkeep and condition of the entire property and historic home given that this was a free attraction. I will say although it opens at 9, things don t really start happening till closer to 10 as the employees are leisurely coming in starting at 9 and then have to open everything up and let out the animals.

Great little historic farm. I was lucky enough to see some grounds keepers shear the coat off a ram. All the livestock including the lambs, rams, and chickens were let out to graze and one could interact with them. The animals were so friendly that two moms, as well as one of the grounds keeper were comfortable letting their toddlers run around the farm. Great friendly staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone trying to have a nice day out in the sun with friendly interactions.

The buildings reminicent of a time long ago. The animals are an excellent add to grab the attention of the children. With a side of souvenirs, this is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with children. This is right up their ally. And if you enjoy stepping into our not too distant past, any adult would enjoy taking a breath and shutting out the rest of the world for just a little while.

Great place to spend a couple of hours with the family. It was Dairy Day when we went. Very educational. Probably going to start making our own butter from now on. Great looking vegetable & herb garden also. Great ideas for what to plant in our new garden.

This place is a fun, free destination for all ages. A working farm, Nash has chickens, sheep, and more. A great little gem up the road from the botanical gardens.

Very nice place. Very friendly staff. I visited with my 91 year old friend and she just loved it. Brought back a lot of memories for her since she grew up on a farm. Next time well bring chairs and sit under the shady tree on the lawn. Great place to visit.
