Would be nice to know that there are age requirements before you pay. The 21 and up rule is stupid. Why even be considered an adult at 18-20 and we got dumb age requirements for adults. This park is dumb for that and extra having to need a parent there is dumb be mindful that some people might actually not have a parent around and just want to have fun with friends when we are all adults.

Paid the entry fee, but be warned, if you don t pay an additional fee you re restricted to a small day-use area. Staff was extremely rude forcing us to vacate a designated camping area with a picnic table. She claimed it s a reserved area for registered campers only. There was no one to be found at the park except us and we had to move.

It s great family lake, very clean, neat and friendly. The place is managed by city of Grapevine, they do a great job maintaining the area. Additionally the life guard team provides free life jackets of various sizes which is a blessing. The city charge you only 5 bucks, which is nothing compared to what guy get and clean they maintain the area. The personal at the gate great you professionally with a smile details direction of where to go and where to park. Further, the area has a awesome boat docking and swimming section with a private in-water playing field for kids and adults, however you have to manage and pay separately for the left side section of the area.

Visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking and lots of space to set down some folding chairs and go swimming. It was clean, bathrooms were nearby and also very clean. 4 stars because of how rocky the beach was and we wore sandals the whole time. Overall a great place to cool off in the summer and its only $5/car to enter. Playground: Playground is located right next to the beach area Toilets: Clean restrooms right next to the beach area Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed. I absolutely love this park. My husband and I stayed this past weekend, and in April, both times we had a great experience. The staff and campers were super helpful and kind. We stayed 2 nights this time, and this summer experience taught us a lot about surviving in the Tx heat but with battery-operated fans and a USB chargeable fan. We still had a cool and comfortable sleep. We will most definitely be visiting again. Toilets: Updated bathrooms with showers. Dog-friendliness: The dogs here are always friendly and loving.

We been here for a family picnic and we were not disappointed. Had real fun. They have picnic tables under the huts. So in case weather is too sunny you can have some roof on your heads. Public restrooms were also neat. For kids they had some swings and a place to climb and all for monkeying stuff. Although you would need to pay $5 per car for entering the park. But I think it s worth as they have kept the park really nice.

We went to visit for the first time with the intention of bringing the grandkids to swim at the lake. After a 5 minute walk in the beach we found six pieces of sharp glass that you can see in the picture included. Do not swim if you dont have water shoes. We picked them up and showed them to the person at the entrance booth and she just told us that they are aware and try to pick them up. Evidently they dont do a good job at picking up.

I used to camp here several years ago and it was a get what you pay for price to camp, which was perfect for our primitive style of camping. They now charge 35 dollars for 1 night and the feeling went from a nice quiet place outside the city to feeling like I was camping in my backyard. I wont be back and I am very disappointed with how the city has turned this once beautiful place into another attraction.

My family and I had a great time. I wish the sandy beach area was larger and could accommodate more people. We had to set up on the grass and every time we went down to the water, we had to climb down a pretty steep, rocky shelf. Some of their junior attendants were not helpful when we had an issue and had to continually ask for help until the manager arrived, which, I suppose is rather common these COVID days but still a hassle nonetheless. I did subtract one star for these issues but only one star because it was resolved favorably. Their policy/procedures on when the park is at max capacity should be revamped as none of the attendants were taking into account all of the people who left. We do love the park and myself and my family will be back!

Such a beautiful place to visit! My family and doggy had a great time swimming and enjoying the beautiful view of people jet skiing and on their boats.

Good place to bring the kids! Bring food to grill and drinks... there are nice bathrooms here as well as places to out your tent up and go camping right next to the water and behind a guarded post which makes you feel a little safer camping...
