So we here to do a help create dreamless wine glass for me, my sister, and my mom. It was a Mother s Day gift. I will say, that three tickets for the event was pricey. But no different than a nice dinner out. The main shop is small, but clean, and had so many fun little glass blown items to look at with local blown art. The ladies that checked us in were very prompt, and polite. The main studio is hot. There are some bleachers set up where you can wait your turn. Your turn is based upon the time you checked in. So 10 people might sign up for the 10 am slot. But the person who signed in at 9.45 am will go first and so forth. The people who do the help create events are super knowledgeable, polite, and respectful. You can tell they do this ALOT. The whom actual process took maybe less then 10 min? You got to pick your color, and help create the item, with fun facts about the process. You pick up your item in about 2 business days. They have the items wrapped soundly and snuggly in nice wrapping. The stemless wine glass we made is SOLID. It is heavy and thick. It won t shatter in the sink type of situation. I would absolutely do this again. Maybe closer to Christmas when they do ornamentals

They let you assist in heating and shaping the glass, adding color patterns of your choice. They also have a very impressive collection of glass art to buy and/or admire. The people were friendly too! Fantastic spot for a date or any occasion.

My wife treated the family to a fun and educational visit to Vetro as a cool thing to do together during the holidays. Our session started at 10:00 a.m., where we were checked in at the front desk in the gallery..Lots of great glass art and glassware on display and for sale. After a short wait we were met by one of the glass artists and escorted back into the foundry. We selected our colors for our ornaments and then we were each paired up with an instructor to begin making our ornaments. The instructors were very friendly and professional; guiding us through each step of the process, after which our ornaments were placed into an annealing oven to slowly cool and harden overnight. Ill post an update and photos once we go back and pick up our objects dart.

This is a super fun activity for a team building event. You get a lot of help from the experts that work there. They let you do as much as is possible. You can pick colors that you like. They have a standard glass shape according to seasons. Our team at work have done the pumpkin (autumn), a Christmas ornament, and a snowman so far. If you arent wanting to make something, they have all kinds of neat things created by local artists that make for really stylish and unique gifts in their shop. I loved their handcrafted kaleidoscope with a wooden cylinder with pieces of glasses turning to view. Its gorgeous. Understandably expensive but hey, if I had the money, I would love to gift that to someone.

My partner and I took paperweight classes I and II and they were incredible! We cannot wait to take the third class! We were lucky enough to have Jorma as our instructor for both of our first two classes and he absolutely MAKES the experience! We came in with very little knowledge of glassblowing, and he did a great job of making the art approachable and fun. He has a wealth of knowledge about glass working and made us feel comfortable right away! He was right there with us to give advice and guide us through the process with an experienced hand. He encourages independence and makes you feel like a real glassblower! He was awesome at answering questions and we had a blast learning from him. If you can, you definitely should take all three of the paperweight classes, especially with Jorma. Also, a very big thank you to Shannon for being so accommodating and understanding with scheduling!

I have always wanted to watch this done in person but have felt intimidated by the intricate & highly technical nature of the glassblowing studio setting. I came across Vetro Glassblowing Studio walking back to my car after dinner at the Harvest Hall & I m so glad I did. The studio is clean, comfortable (but obviously hot ), and the artists are incredibly welcoming. There is a beautiful store front where you can buy items made by artists from all over the country & lots of gorgeous smaller pieces (jewelry, small birds/ducks, pieces from assorted colors of broken art, etc.) if you are looking for a unique gift. There was much more interaction w/the glass than I expected for a first-timer in a help-create event. They teach and involve each participant in every piece which was such a great time, & gave me a chance to ask some questions as well. I would highly recommend to anyone on the fence and the way they set up the classes you could most certainly bring attentive children who can/will follow simple safety precautions & creative directions.

I had a great time making the glass egg. I gave it 3 stars because I don t feel the price we paid for the class was equivalent to the experience. My friend and I went and we were both done within a combined 25 minutes. Due to the ease of the piece, there was not much we could do. My daughter has made a glass and a bowl and love the experience and was very involved in the creation. In my opinion this class should have been cheaper for the piece we made.

Ill make it quick. Staff was ever so kind and friendly and they have a good system going. The 3 is for the experance. The neg 2 is for the product. Mine came out a bit jacked up and had a super flat stlpt at the top. I mentioned it to thw blower and he really didnt seem to care or ask if i wanted another and just wanted to move along. Granted I paid for the experance he didnt seem like he was intreasted if fixing the iassue. I didnt want to make a big deal because people were there to have fun and enjoy and i didnt want to take away from that. But by looking at the end product i dont think i was something they would even sell although it was something worth paying 60 bucks. Im very dissipointed that i was just rushed thru and pretty much made to feel like i didnt get my moneys woth because i got a jacked up globe. You wouldnt pay full price for a damaged product, idk why should I have to???? Cool eperance but my guy didnt seem to care about what he turned out. And for $60 thats not cool... Update, i type super fast, fat finger and did not proof my comment so i liooked like an idiot. But, the owner or head glass blower called me directly and apologized that i was not informed ahead of time about diffrent colors heating at diffrent rates thus causing the globe to have some issues. Really nice guy offered me options and wanted to make things right. Again everyone was super nice up there just think they get rushed with these kinda events and mistakes happen. No hard feelings will definitely do other events with them in the future. I will change to 5 stars for their customer service and willingness to address the issue. Thank you..

What a fabulous shop filled with beautiful pieces you can buy but also some really great classes you can take! My friend and I did the wine glass class, it was a lot of fun, I absolutely love the wine goblet that I made. The location of the shop is perfect, it is right in downtown grapevine surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. Make a day of it!

Fascinating, family owned studio with incredible treasures and unique experiences. Fun and friendly staff. Great for a date or the Holidays. I love their wall display and vases the best. Find jewelry from local artists as well. Great stop.

Ive been here a few times now. Its so fun to go in and help to make your piece. Its become a tradition to go make an ornament every year. I definitely recommend paying the little extra for the extreme ornament making.

My daughter made a Christmas ornament from glass, very cool. First time visiting but could see this become a yearly tradition. Other very nice glass pieces available but mostly out of my price range.
