My husband and I dined in with our friends for dinner and just had a blast! When we first walked in the hosts were super polite and very welcoming. Our server Connor did an amazing job taking care of us! He was very professional and seemed to have great knowledge of the food as well as the drinks. He was also very attentive and just made the night super fun. The Seabass trio is to die for you definitely need to order this off menu dish! Will definitely be back again!

Unfortunately I can t remember my servers name, maybe Sam? Taller guy with a beard. Well, he was fantastic, knew all the specials and helped us decide. He also explained the differences in some whiskeys for me to choose my old fashioned. I ended up getting the surf and turf with the 8oz filet and the lobster tail. It was fantastic. We tried the ahi tuna and beef appetizers as well. Also super good. Parking: There are lots of restaurants clustered together and parking here can be pretty difficult at peak times. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and seating.

The place has diverse cuisine and impressive service. We tasted several small plates and the wagyu strip entree. My favorite was seared ahi tuna and quail knots. Szechuan calamari was not bad but should be spicier to live up to the name of Szechuan. Oyster Rockefeller used Parmesan cheese which I guess is a modern interpretation of the dish but I personally do not like the sharp taste of parmesan. It also overpowered the flavor of oysters. Wagyu strip was a letdown. First, it took unexpectedly too long to arrive at the table, and second, I was expecting more of a buttery taste and a tender texture, but the one we had was a slightly firm texture and did not come with that rich flavor of a wagyu beef. The crab mac and cheese came with it was great. Lastly, the smoked Wine+Wood cocktail was pronominal.

Last Friday (9.6.24) we hosted my son s rehearsal dinner for 50 people and it could not have been more perfect. We had the enclosed patio with access to the fenced in outdoor patio - a must for 6 little antsy grands. They also allowed us to set up and decorate 3 hours prior to the event. The food / wine was excellent and the staff (Brian, you rock!) was beyond accommodating. Nicole is the catering manager and was such a pleasure to work with! The staff here was incredibly welcoming right from the start. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The ambiance is upscale but still relaxed not too formal. The tomahawk ribeye was amazing, and the Brussels sprouts were just as good. Our server, Julia, was great attentive without hovering. The only small downside was that the kitchen was a bit slow, and it took about 45 minutes for our food to come out. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

What a great find! Everything we ordered last night was delicious (scallops, filets, salads, creme brulee) and the wines by the glass and cocktails were amazing. I arrived at 11:30 am on a Sunday during the brunch window. It wasn t crowded but service picked up soon thereafter. We did have a reservation for two. The service was pleasant and attentive throughout the time spent. I had the ribeye and skillet potatoes. It was okay. They didn t have the blue cheese topping normally served with it per the menu. The atmosphere was nice. There was a small band. We sat in an enclosed patio with AC away from the main restaurant so I didn t get to see much of the space. The bar area was really nice and welcoming as well. I would definitely go back to try a different entree. My steak wasn t bad, just a little tough. It was seasoned perfectly. The skillet potatoes were not good. So I give the food a 3.5 rounded up to 4 star and the staff deserved a 5 along with the vibe and atmosphere. The other guest with me enjoyed their food ( Eggs Benedict and English muffin but the muffin needed a knife to cut through it. Maybe it was just a tough morning in the kitchen. I d give them another shot if meeting folks for cocktails. The old fashion served from their menu was the best part of the brunch.

We came here after trying their butterscotch pudding at taste of Grapevine. Our waitress Abi was lovely and provided great recommendations which we followed for our cocktails and app. We never would ve thought to order the calamari, it was amazing! Upon arrival, we were seated promptly in a comfortable booth. The low lighting in this establishment really sets the tone for a nice dine in experience. The wagyu bone in steak was served a perfect mid rare, and the Mac and cheese held its own! The manager was also very kind and accommodating while making his rounds, and made a great wine suggestion. Been going here for several years - however, recently had 2 bad meals in a row. We had the Oysters Rockefeller and they were very bad as appetizers in fact inedible. We shared the Cordon Bleu and it was very dry. Im not sure what has happened to the food here. It used to be amazing, but not anymore. I messed up and put this review off, shame on me, because this place is wonderful. The atmosphere when you walk in is great! Youre greeted with nice people. I took my gf (soon to be fiance) here and we sat at the bar. Jordynn greeted us and was amazing the whole night! Great wine selection! We got a cheaper bottle of wine, and a charcuterie board (great amazing cheese I had to go to central market and find THAT cheese... I couldnt find it). Jordynn and Ian (also an Awesome person) told us about the Quail Knots wrapped in bacon (bacon is a secret menu thing)... great taste. This is a great place, great atmosphere, great people (Jordynn and Ian, and others). Will try to come back here, my paycheck says once a month lol, but it is a great place made of great food and people.

Started off with the most extraordinary soup du jour: champagne brie. We have traveled Europe extensively and have never heard of the soup. So of course we tried it. It was the most delicious combination ever. Would love to have it again. Enjoyed the best lamb chops - they were served in 2 racks of 4 chops each. Well seasoned and perfect temperature. The hubs and I enjoy visiting Winewood Grill for every day meals as well as special occasions. The day and time you attend will impact your overall experience. Visiting here in Grapevine and stumbled upon this restaurant as it was only about 5 min from our hotel. We arrived early around four parking was readily available. We didnt have prior reservation and were seated immediately. However we have been here multiple times and if youre coming at five or after I recommend reservations and valet. Based off prior visits. We ordered the side market blend salad and there was plenty for the both of us to share. We had the citrus dressing and it was delicious. We also ordered their tasty bread that comes with both a compound and basic whipped butter. This is a must order from our point of view. We has the dozen of Oyster Rockerfeller. They are amazing wish I could have been able to have more. Our service was handled by Pierce he was polite, professional and extremely attentive to our needs. I highly recommend Wine Wood it is one of our go to restaurants. If youre looking for a quality meal at a table - cloth restaurant with affordable pricing you cant go wrong by choosing Winewood.

This review is based only on one dish. I ordered the hash which came out cold, while the asparagus was raw or undercooked at most. I ordered the hash because it because it is typically the simplest dish a restaurant can make, and in my mind that made it a safe bet for a place Ive never been. Sadly, I was wrong, and the dish was mediocre. For what I paid, I could have made it at home. I will give this three stars, because if youre looking for a brunch spot to have some mimosas, it may be worth checking out. I would ask for orange juice on the side because the mimosas come dry.

Overall an enjoyable experience . . . however so close to 5 stars and yet so far away. The positive followed by negative across our experience. Arrived 8 minutes ahead of reservation and told to hang out and would receive a text when ready to seat us closer to our reservation time only to never get a text and ultimately check in and be seated 10 minutes after the reservation. Attractive but a bit dated environment, however, on a Saturday night incredibly loud with many large parties making it hard to carry on a conversation. Took a very long time for a bottle of wine to start only to be offered a different bottle than ordered. Highlight of the evening was the main course, however, the lobster ravioli arrived room temperature (refire was fantastic but staggered the meal). Noted a special occasion on reservation but such was never acknowledged by anyone. Plating and presentation of food was strong throughout all courses. Best course was the entree course. Seafood trio was the best of the best. Will be back to give Winewood a second try. Perhaps a less busy night will yield a more consistent experience from start to finish.

This place is amazing and the atmosphere is very inviting. The kids and I reserved a table for Mothers Day in advance to take their mother to brunch. We started with Mimosas for their mother and I.Then, we had the Texas Cinnamon Roll for appetizer and their calamari is the best Ive ever tasted. I had the Cajun Eggs Benedict, the wife and daughter had the Lobster and Crab Eggs Benedict and my son had the Chicken and Waffles. We ended the meal with a Brookie!! We went back again and had great service... so I wanted to edit this review to reflect that. Im 50/50 on the service at Winewood. First, the food is always top notch and the cocktails are some of the best in the area. The bartenders are awesome. If I only ever sat at the bar, Id give this place a 5 star review. The last 2 times we went to Winewood, we sat at tables and had snobby or annoyed servers. The other day at lunch, our server was either clearly having a bad day, or just didnt like our table from the beginning. No refills on drinks... very short with us and when we had a question about the food, basically talked down to the table. Again, incredible service at the bar and incredible bartenders... but one or two bad servers ruins a place for me. Parking: Parking is tough on most evenings because its a small parking lot that serves 4 large restaurants at once.

Winewood Grill was so good that I found myself there two nights while in Grapevine Texas. The first night I had a delicious and savory Sea bass over risotto, and it was absolutely delightful. I didn t think that I could be more impressed until I came back the second night and had the redfish. The redfish had a slight kick which completed the dish. The Winewood Grill was a great experience! My gf had the Chilean Sea Bass and really enjoyed it. She said the texture and taste were perfect! I had a Cajun dish that was excellent (Texas Cajun Pontchartrain Snapper). We were there celebrating a milestone birthday (#60) for an old friend. The service was awesome - efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend you give it a go!

You just can t go wrong eating here! I ve been here a handful of times and each time has been wonderful. This was my first time for lunch and I m looking forward to future lunch visits. I love the atmosphere! It s inviting, warm and upscale. From the rich, deep wood tones, the water feature, and the ladder access to the extensive wine storage, you walk in expecting a great experience and they deliver. We started with the Szechuan Calamari and we were not disappointed. The calamari was cooked perfectly, it was tender and delicious. The sriracha glaze was absolutely incredible! My son had the grilled Scottish Salmon, and it was tender and very flavorful. It was a nice cut for a lunch portion. He loved it! I ordered the Ahi Tuna. It was absolutely perfect! I ll have a hard time trying anything else next time! That sriracha glaze - wow!!! I think I could enjoy that on anything. The dish also won my son over, he said he will order that next time. The service was impeccable. We enjoyed visiting with each other without blatant interruptions but water glasses were kept full, we were checked on regularly and allowed to eat and visit at our own pace. The statue out front makes for a fun photo op and downtown Grapevine is just down the street. Winewood is great for dinner and lunch. Make it a day and enjoy the area. Parking: There are 4 restaurants in the same vicinity so parking can be a bit tricky. I typically avoid busy times and prefer to visit at less busy times. Kid-friendliness: Upscale dining so not really a place for kids to run around or anything.

Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience on March 16! My husband and I made reservations for 7pm as first time diners at Winewood and we will be adding this restaurant into our regular rotation. Arrived early and had a couple cocktails at the bar, drinks were delicious and bartenders were very attentive and knowledgeable. We were seated promptly at our reserved time and introduced to one of the best servers we ve ever had, Vic! He was very attentive, had extensive knowledge of the menu and made several recommendations- started with the bacon wrapped quail, had the strawberry salad, mac-n-cheese, tenderloin, and mashed potatoes for dinner. Everything we had was amazing-food came in a timely manner and I never felt rushed between courses. We truly felt welcomed by the entire staff and can t say enough great things about our server Vic!! 5 stars

Very disappointed with the service and atmosphere. They blasted hard rock once the lunch crowd left. Took forever to bring me my wine. I ordered then brought me the wrong type. They did not charge me for the wine. The place was practically empty with lots of wait staff. Not sure what went on here but probably will not come back next time Im in Grapevine. Too many other options for restaurants in the area.

Having a belated birthday lunch on Sunday, with my husband, the waiter is so friendly and recommend the best food to us. The Quail knot is super delicious. I had the New Zealand lamb rack and my husband had the pork chop. Is so delicious . Service is superb . Last but not least the dessert is so good recommended by our waiter . One of our very favorite brunch spots in the area. Note that they dont open till 11am, so if your an early bird this isnt your place. however, they serve brunch till 3 or 4pm, so you can get your chicken and waffles, eggs, or whatever your go to breakfast for lunch preference might be, well into the afternoon. My bride and I have been eating here for years and its always consistently good, havent had a bad meal or experience yet! Parking: If your going for brunch or lunch youll have zero issues parking. The weekend nights can be a different story as Bobs Chophouse uses a ton for valet and with 3 hopping restaurants right next to each other it gets pretty busy so a spot to park can be a bit more difficult in the lot. There is a street behind the buildings that you can usually find a spot even when very busy.

This restaurant lacks etiquette. Plain and simple. If you like to have dinner while the staff is cleaning the floors around you then this is the place for you. We arrived at 9:30pm and the restaurant closes at 11pm. They started cleaning the floors at 9:45pm while people were eating and trying to enjoy their dinner. Flashing lights at the floor, moving tables to clean the floor. Lack of etiquette! It felt like they were trying to let us know that they were closing very soon. The waiter seemed to have clocked out (in his head) because he never refilled the water and had forgotten to bring a drink.

The food was delicious my entire family LOVED the Gouda Mac and cheese. Very calm, upscale atmosphere. We went around 3PM and there weren t many tables but our main course took 50 minutes to arrive and we ordered within 10 minutes of being there that s the reason for the and not 5. Kid-friendliness: The kids menu was perfect cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, Mac and cheese I feel like I m missing an item or 2. I loved they gave the kids options for sides and not just fries.

To be totally honest, my here was not the best when I arrived the house was great but when my waiter came to my table, I automatically knew he didn t want to serve me. Although he did describe their food thoroughly I could tell he did not want to serve me when I arrived, I asked you to start browsing their drinks, but before I came, I talk to a manager and he told me to come in between 2 and 4 PM for open interviews probably assuming that I was not black due to my professional so I get there something to drink and I order a burger and fries truffle Parmesan fries and I asked to talk to a manager is 2 PM now maybe about 2:05 and my waiter go to the manager, says that I want to speak to him they were directly across from me in the middle of the floor. In between some tables they were moving some chairs, and , he never came back and let me know anything by time I m done eating and I paste out my food. I asked to see the manager again. He said he probably won t be able to see you today but I ll go ask him so then he comes back and says he s really busy. He won t be able to get with you today, but I ll take your application. I said no thank you I ll just keep it and I feel like they were very racist there he saw me as a young black woman. They were no other black workers there and The place was totally empty not totally empty, but I know a busy restaurant when I see one I ve been waitressing since I was 18 he didn t wanna greet me or interview me. This was Thursday, January 18 2024 I ll never return to I just moved here and fairly new, and I did not feel welcomed at all

We come here frequently. What I like about Wine Wood is, as you are walking up to the restaurant you can actually smell the wood fired grill. The food is so good, especially the beef selections. Ive never had a bad experience here. They also have an excellent selection of wines, and they are comfortably priced. Most upscale resturants have ridiculous prices on all wines, not here, and its a strategic and a smart move on their part. I highly recommend Wine Wood in Grapevine.

We choose Wildwood after reading some reviews online. We met some friends there for Brunch/Lunch. I had the smoked pork chop, it was delicious. My wife had the salmon and she said it was delicious as well. The star of the table was the Chilean Sea Bass on risotto. The sea bass was better than all the other dishes. I would highly recommend Winewood. The restaurant felt cozy, the servers were excellent.
