This place is Awful! Service absolutely sucks! Never enough wait staff. Food is never correct! Managers do a half ass job he re! This place has gone to the dump!! You have to wait to be seated with no one waiting! Then its 15 minutes before someone will acknowledge you!! Shame on them. Burnt meatloaf

Cracker Barrel has always been a favorite but we hadnt been in so long. This first time back in forever trip was extremely disappointing. The food was basic quality, nothing special. Something was definitely wrong with the ham...old maybe? There was a streak of something blue on my daughters plate...sniff test says it was dish soap. The service was also poor. Very slow, empty drinks often..we were sat right away so it didnt seem overly crowded to warrant the slow service. Overall disappointed. With so many brunch places available this one sadly gets bumped from our list.

I loved it. We arrived 15 minutes before closing of the day and they still welcomed us and treated us with very good service and without any type of restriction. The person who served us was incredibly polite and courteous even though she was obviously very tired from the days work... always with a wide smile. The store was super well stocked, with beautiful and unique items . A very pleasant atmosphere. We ate delicious! . The cornbread with apple sauce was exquisite... and not to mention the dishes because everything we ate was first class. The only thing I missed was the cranberry juice which is no longer included in their menu, however the options currently offered are quite good. Thank you Cracker Barrel!!

This is a great location LaShonda was our waitress & she was a hoot to talk too, she was so funny & she also made sure we had everything we needed as well. Great food and drinks and awesome service from our waitress, she should get a raise Parking: Nice sized parking lot, plenty of parking and it s free parking. Kid-friendliness: I saw kiddo s there & this location is kid friendly. They give the kids crayons and coloring book. They also have a game at each table triangle shape with pegs I can t remember the name of the game And outside they have a big checkers game on tables for adults, young people I really like those nice rocking chairs outside. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible for wheelchair users; plenty of room to navigate thru this location in a wheelchair

My daughter and I decided to stop by for breakfast and were worried when we saw the parking lot, it was packed for a Sunday morning around 1045 a.m. Nonetheless, we went in and were pleasantly surprised. We got seated immediately, our waiter arrived moments later to greet us, answer any questions, and take our drink order. He was fabulous! We placed our orders and got them fresh out the kitchen within 7-10 minutes. absolutely fantastic! We werent rushed to leave, meaning he didnt put our ticket down and say whenever youre ready, rather he waited for us to ask him. After packing up our leftovers we walked their eclectic shop before paying. The entire experience was great and we will definitely be returning.

We asked for a large ice tea to go, they usually do this, and were told they would have to charge us again for this. The manager is saving the large cups for to go orders and dine in people will have to pay their tea at the table and the to go large tea! We will go eat where they give large cups with your first purchase! They charge $3.29 for a small glass of tea

We love Cracker Barrel and we visit this location fairly often. We had the BEST server possible BUT they are S L O W. I mean nearly an hour waiting for the food. It was cold and overcooked. Very disappointed. Our server kept apologizing and expressing her frustration. She got a nice tip because she deserved it. But something has happened to the kitchens in all the locations we have been to recently very slow. Are the cooks experienced line cooks or minimum wage workers lacking experience? The seating attendant was quite cranky also. I now equate CB to a lot of time waiting for a table and for food once at the table.

I ordered two dinners to go and to pick up. The roast beef on OK, nothing to rave about, but the turnip greens had potential but someone put dired up sticks of ham? I guess....so horrid...more dried sticks of ham than greens. You just have to go out of your way to make turnip greens suck. So very disappointing....the play shrimp that was fried on the other dinner was ridiculous. I guess Cisco furnished those....when there is easily attainable shrimp from the Gulf of Mexico. You certainly charge enough. WHY do this? We were both so disappointed in the food.

For home cooked meals taken to the next level, come here. The fact that it is always busy means theyre doing something right. Last time I was here, I tried the Shepherds Pie. I normally dont like Shepherds pie, but they took it to the next level by using stewed vegetables and chunks of roast beef, all which melt in your mouth. This place never ceases to amaze me.

Im writing this review based on my last 2 visits in the past 2 weeks. It sure makes a huge difference who you get as a server and whos in the kitchen. Our first visit went wonderfully. We had a younger, peppy server. Our food was yummy. We ordered the hamburger steak with gravy, potatoes, and fried okra. Also, catfish, with fixings, and grilled chicken with beans. On our second visit, we ordered the hamburger steak, pot pie, and fried shrimp. The only thing good was the shrimp. Our server was an older lady who was not very attentive, slow, and not helpful. She also swept under the table right next to us while she sat in a chair. Maybe thats standard, but we didnt feel that sweeping right next to someone eating was sanitary, as stuff flies up in the air. Based on our last experience, we wont be going back for a while.

My family and I have made eating at Cracker Barrel a Saturday mid/late morning ritual. The food here was good. But the vibe was awful. Our waitress seemed preoccupied with other things I had to ask her multiple times for different items. Which i understand it s a Saturday we went creeping into more of lunch time. Gluten Free + flexibility = NEVER Cracker Barrel I loath to give bad reviews. However... Today was difficult, and the quality was poor. I typically dont struggle to order gluten-free at almost any restaurant. But today was BAD! Cracker Barrel will not substitute bread products for anything. They say bread is free. They wouldnt even substitute a child-size pancake for my grandkids! Isnt a pancake a type of bread? The quality of the food was poor as well. I received cold egg whites, thin-almost-raw-bacon, and grits that were so watery that they tasted like water, and nothing subbed for the bread. When I talked to the manager, his message was that there wasnt anything he could do. When I said that we wont be back, he just shrugged his shoulders. It appears that Cracker Barrel Corporate doesnt care about attracting gluten-free customers. Do disappointing.

Me and my family came here to eat dinner at 7:35pm we are now leaving at 9:44pm. It was a horrible experience. We go to Cracker Barrel often back home so we definitely did not expect this experience to be so awful. Our waitress didn t get us silverware after receiving our biscuits 35 minutes later. We have 5 kids under the age of 10 so they can t eat without napkins. Hour and a half later got our food and three orders were wrong. We did talk to the manager and we apparently couldn t help us. We had our kids eat because at this point driving back to our hotel in downtown Dallas with starving children was not going to happen. Then to make matters worse our waitress chose to split our check into 4 checks as if our kids were going to pay for themselves. Again ask the manager to help and put the check together so we could pay for him to tell us he doesn t know how. So we paid 4 separate checks. So disappointed

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorites! This location is great, clean, has a great menu, and the country store is pretty amazing! The only draw back to this visit was the food - maybe an off day. The waitstaff brought out a basket with 2 cornbread muffins and 1 biscuit for all of us- said thats all we got (at 630pm on a Saturday - picture included). This is absolutely poor service and definitely reflected their attitude toward their customers. There were other things about this visit that deserve a 1 star- but I am hoping this was an off day. Cannot recommend this location. The picture says it all - an experience that was completely lacking.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my party of 10 received during our recent visit to your establishment. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited over 15 minutes before I had to request that someone take our drink order. During this time, another large party arrived, was served drinks, bread, and food, and even left before we were attended to. The lack of customer service we experienced was unprecedented. Our meals had numerous issues, including missing items and sides. My fathers meal was delayed because his order was apparently never submitted. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience we have ever had at Cracker Barrel. The waitress was unprofessional, and while the manager eventually decided to comp our meals, the overall experience remained unsatisfactory. Given the level of service we received, we will not be returning. I intend to report this matter to higher management.

Follow up note - An EXTREMELY DISHONEST company. They probably did the whole thing on purpose to save money since they are a failing company. So they responded as below which sounds very concerned. Like an idiot I answered them (again). Again they didn t respond. Zilch. They don t follow through even when know they didn t follow through. They charge me for something I never received. I sent them the receipt for what I paid + Tip. They took my money like a THEIF and I hope they GO OUT OF BUSINESS. What a disappointment! Ordered food to go, added a decent tip and got home to find I didn t get all the food I paid for and tipped on. Too far to drive back. I notified them and they replied very nicely saying they were going to send a digital certificate in about 3 days- It never came. I followed up about a week later and they ignore me. This is their corporate headquarters. The top people. 1. So, they don t deliver the food I paid for and tipped on 2. make a promise to make it right 3. Break the promise 4. Then don t respond to my follow-up. How dishonest and sorry Cracker Barrel is! No wonder they re having difficulties- they earned it. I ll never go back again. Follow up note - so they responded as below and then I answered them (again). Again they didn t respond. They don t follow through even when they charge me for something I never received. I ve have eaten here about five times. For typical American fare, its descent. Sometimes the meat seasoning is hit or miss. Today, it hit! Shout out to the kitchen. Where this store REALLY struggles is the men s restroom. I dread having to use the restroom here. The male facilities could use a major update. The smell of urine upon opening the door is unacceptable on every level. Also, there may be a plumbing issue given how long the urine takes to drain after flushing. Proper cleaning would go. Long way and I hope this issue is resolved yesterday. Overall, I don t mind coming to this CB store due to driving convenience and descent food but the men s restroom needs much more care and attention.

I joined the waitlist & waited the 25-30 min. My party & I arrived at the restaurant approximately 12p proceeded to the check in station. The young lady took a while to address us. She didn t ask if we were on the waitlist, she just started in about how long the wait. I tried to informed her 3 times that I had joined the waitlist but she never stopped to hear me. She finally heard me & caught an attitude when I finally had to stern enough for to hear & understand that I was on the waitlist. I know July 4th was busy for them but rudeness should not have played a part. I know the review seems uneven. The servers were great! And I always love the small town USA athmosphere of Cracker Barrel. I will mention that I normally patronize the Lewisville location. But, really, for a restaurant, the food is the most important aspect. We came in on a Sunday for lunch after shopping nearby. It was busy, and there was a wait for thirty minutes, but it really only took about twenty to be seated. The wait is understandable. To start, my friend and I got the White Cheddar Cheese Bites. They were fine, but nothing special. It didnt stand out in any way, and I will probably order something else if I ever go back. My biggest issue with them is how few you get. I also ordered a couple of Bloody Marys. They were bad. It feels like they literally just pour some vodka into Zing Zang without any other spices to give the drink depth. It was also very watery, a very disappointing texture for a Bloody Mary. For my entree, I ordered the new New York Strip Steak N Chicken Combo, with the fries and dumplins as my side. The chicken was okay, a bit dry, and the fries were mediocre. They were kind of soggy and the thick starchy ones. The dumplins, as always, were amazing. Now, though, that New York Strip was the worst steak I ever had at any restaurant. And that is including other budget restaurants at the same price point. The meat was tough and chewy (I had ordered Medium Rare), the seasoning was extremely bland, and had uneven chunks of fat all over. I wasnt expect much at that price point, but I wouldnt have eaten that steak for free. Also, the server never did get me the buttermilk biscuit that was included with my meal. Anyway, my friend and I finished the food, paid, and left. Still left a good tip of about 30%. This trip has soured Cracker Barrel for me, so I probably wont be back soon.

Cracker Barrel is starting to be like every other restaurant. Give you little but increase the price. They pinching with their syrup and only want to give you one when you had two Granny meals. We stopped by today and I wanted to try a new meal which was the chicken tender with spicy honey on them. They told me they ran out of the sauce and only had regular chicken tenders so I said fine Ill take it. It was so cold and dry, it just felt old. I honestly ate only one tender and I was done with the food. Raising canes would of been much better place to go. The food here is not appealing at all bearly any fries and I was wanted to leave

Decided to stop by because my husband and I wanted some country style food since it s been awhile since either of us have had any. We had such a bad experience we didn t even stay to eat. None of the employees seemed like they wanted to be there. Our server was not personable or professional at all. We had ordered our teas and after waiting watching everyone else getting attended to and not receiving our drinks we just decided to leave. Not to mention we were the only minorities in that dining area so not a good look Cracker Barrel.

Came back, slow day took 10 minutes to get a waiter and over 30 minutes! For food! While the place is 3/4 empty on a Sunday. We have things to do! Cant sit around for the time it takes to watch TV show. Food can be great but then other times it is way too salty. I think some focus on consistency is needed. Cracker Barrel is known for the great atmosphere and the great store to shop while waiting for a table or after you eat. We have been to many cracker barrels, but this one was not up to par today. We did not have to wait on a Saturday during dinner. The service was fine, but the server did talk a lot, and we both finished our drinks and had to wait a while before the server returned to top them off. Our food came out very quickly, which was a surprise to me. Then, as we started to eat, I realized why it came out so quickly. The mashed potatoes and green beans were cold. My wifes fried chicken was still bloody in the middle. The apples were nice and hot, and my chicken fried chicken was good. As people left, no one was there to clean tables. When we got up to leave, the entire section needed to be bussed. I highly recommend cracker barrels, but maybe just not this particular location.

Took my mom to eat there and while I was freshing up in the restroom due to just got off from work I took about close to 10 minutes no waiter or waitress came to her table. There was about three of them and restaurant was not busy at all. There was about three tables occupied. Two of them just looked at us and ignored us especially the one waitress. This is probably the eighth time that I ve tried to order from this location and I ve attempted to order a single pancake every time and without fail, they can never give me a single pancake. They always want to charge me for two pancakes on a call in order. However, you can order a single pancake if you go inside and eat but you just can t order one when you order out. I ve canceled the order multiple times, I ve talked to many managers about it. They still haven t fixed it.

Cracker Barrel has been a great restaurant and country store in the past but it s declined in the last couple of years because of the pandemic, so many of the previous employees ( kitchen and wait staff) who were delivering top quality and good service moved on during the pandemic shutdown and now have new employees who are having issues living up to Cracker Barrel standards of pre-pandemic years. If the corporate leadership will be proactive and bring back the previous years quality of service and improve the food preparation to the previous standards, then I will patronize the restaurant at the same level as I have in the past.
