When you pay $30+ for food the food should be great! I ordered tonight (October 1st) and everything on my plate was salty ( the fried rice, steak, and side of noodles). This is what I call lazy cooking because everything tasted like a salty type of sauce and not real seasoning or flavoring. I m very disappointed and if I could get my money back I would!

Much needed experience on how to make Crab Rangoon zero filling, small, and fried to hard total insult smh. I work here in Grandprairie with staff that said let s order here. They seen my order and was like Woww 6 of these little things for almost $10..Here is a picture of what I got versus the ones I normally get at a Chinese restaurant I order from in Cedar Hill. First time ordering here on a sushi craving whim. Ordered the Godzilla roll to go. I was impressed by the ambiance of the restaurant and thought to myself that I would love to dine in one day. When my food was ready, they packed my food along side with utensils, napkin, and soy sauce packets. The sushi is a little on the pricy side but you can tell that the sushi is good quality. The Godzilla roll that I ordered was delicious and satisfied my cravings. Although it had jalapenos, it wasnt spicy (to me at least). The raw fish was fresh and the craftsmanship was excellent.

Changed review because only on 2 occasions out of maybe a dozen did they forget the sauce. The Chicken Katsu Curry is one of the best tasting dishes ever. Previously I had gave this place a 1 star just because without the curry sauce the dish is not worth the cost. Because I have had nothing but good experiences since, I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is a scam. An extremely small portion of fried rice sells for $17.20. The food is horrible and extremely expensive. Their customer service even sucks more. I told the Server (Ziyad ) on phone to make my food spicy but the MF didn t even care to notify the cook. What a useless restaurant!

It was pretty good, but I never got a chance to ask my server for some soy sauce after she brought me my sushi. First time ever, I have eaten sushi without any soy sauce. I didnt see her again until my main dish was served. I got the lobster, shrimp, and steak combo with fried rice and the vegetable. Im pretty sure I asked for the steak to be medium rare, but it was a little more than that. The lobster was horrible overcooked and very, very chewy. Its pretty close to my house, so I may have to try it again.

I never had a problem with the restaurant because I always order take out, but today I decided to dine in with my toddler and sisters. The server greeted us and took our drink orders and appetizers. We got our drink and my toddler s drink spilled because toddler gets clumsy and the water spilled all over the floor and high chair. The server took the high chair away, but i could ve got a new cup. She gave me back the high chair without cleaning up the floor. I wanted to change my order but she said she already but the order in which is understandable. Then, my appetizers came out and she did not give me plates or anything small dish to put my condiments in for sushi. After eating, I was hoping she ll come by the table to give us the bill, but she was on her phone the whole time and I was getting impatient and just decided to pay upfront with the host. I ll just continue to order take out instead of dining in, made me very uncomfortable.

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, they have beautifully painted walls, and all of their decor from the light fixtures to the above bar flags create a really fun intimate neo traditional Japanese vibe, and the music they play is a pleasant mix of chill rap and lofi music. Their menu is not as extensive as some sushi places in the medium end range of sushi restaurants, but the quality of their rolls do match the quality of other medium end sushi restaurants, at a competitive price. They do have some more unique items like their sushi burritos as well as their sushi pizza which I really enjoyed. I m not a huge fan of the steep angle at which they cut their sushi burritos, I feel like it leads to not being able to have homogeneous content of sushi throughout the process of eating the roll, but I otherwise liked their burritos as well. Service is quick and friendly. I do feel like their location is convenient, but too easily overlooked, but it is nice to be next door to the boba shop.

We come here all the time. I always get the Ahi Tower and they make it so beautiful each time. My daughter only eats french fries but theyre also really good lol. The Harumaki is my favorite appetizer. Theyre like tiny eggrolls with a very crispy wrapper! The jalepeno poppers are delicious as well!

I have been going to Oyshi for a while, always had great food and service. The food was great but not so much the service. If Im going to spend $70 plus dollars for me and my child I expect decent service. It felt like the whole time I was waiting on the waitress and they werent that busy. I was even waiting on her to bring me my bill, so I got up and went to the counter to pay. She comes out from hiding and rushes over, sir sir I could have brought you the bill and you could have paid at your table. All I said was I dont need to go find you so you can bring me my bill. I have always loved this place! Their food is bomb- the sushi, jalapeño poppers, rangoons, fried rice, etc. But, I made reservations tonight for my best friend s birthday. We walked in and, not only did they have our booth prepared with the table set, they had balloons that spelled out Happy Birthday on the wall. The staff was super friendly, and our server, Jasmine, was AMAZING. So patient, kind and knowledgeable about the menu. They even brought out a delicious dessert. I am incredibly impressed!

First off, let me just say WOW!!! I came to Oyshi for the first time last night and I was extremely impressed. Not only is it BEAUTIFUL inside, our server was so nice & friendly, and our food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I got the Fried Super Man Roll and it was the perfect crunch and flavor. Where should I start, service or food? . Service: Kate helped with my to-go order, she cause such a great impression on me because she is so young, full of energy and a great vibe, she asked how was my day and made it look like she was interested for real, this are the little things that can have a great impact in a person and in a positive way, my day at that point was good but thanks to those few seconds she decided to be awesome my day turned great, got a smile on my face. The order of edamame was missing. The fish in the poke bowl order was not sushi grade and absolutely horrible. The tuna had bloody marks on it. The white fish was as if it was raw tilapia. It was rubbery and inedible. As if the fish used by the restaurant was purchased at Costco or Walmart and played off as sushi grade. The spicy tuna roll was gut wrenching. Ive eaten sushi all over the world and cant recall ever having it this bad. Dangerous health could be compromised by parasites it was that bad. We enjoyed the crab rangoon and dumpling soup, but threw the rest of the order in the trash. Over $125 order. Will not eat here again.

I had Miso Soup, Mix Tempura and Shrimp Shumai. The miso soup was ok, but a little bit salty to me. For the Mix Tempura, the onion ring was burnt. (see in the pictures) The sweet potato was a little hard and bitter, the shrimp tempura was dry and hard. Shrimp shumai was a little bit hard too. Please check the food before you give it to the customer.

Amazing and delicious . Our server Chelsea was upbeat and knowledgeable on all the various rolls and suggested the Crazy Salmon Roll and it was phenomenal she suggested the rock shrimp !!! Too die for . Thank You Chelsea for a memorable experience !!!

This was the first time my family and I was here. The food was delicious. We will be back. We had Shrimp fried rice, shrimp noodles, and egg rolls. The food is a bit costly however it is worth it.

today when I passed by the chase bank I got a very good smell and when I finished the bank I went to look for the restaurant I got off with my granddaughters we ordered a chicken fried rice and a soft drink my granddaughters are small so I didnt ask for more... when I finished I cleaned what my granddaughters threw on the table and I picked up the plate and took it to a table where they had cleaning supplies. I left the place and the girl who attended me came out after me, giving me the plate where I ate she thought I stole a Dirty Plate and I tell him to leave it there... I get out of the car and tell him seriously, did you think he stole a plate from me? I even cleaned the table for you... whats going on? Its my first and last time here... I was embarrassed and angry if the filthy plate was plastic or cut glass... this fye is very sad and embarrassing experience in this filthy place... and before leaving my granddaughters told me we can come back here again... and of course we cant!!!!

PORTION SIZE IS AMAZING!!! Large fresh cuts of sashimi, super friendly and knowledgeable staff! She made sure three times that I was ordering what I wanted, and I appreciate that. Miso soup is very flavorful here. I don t live nearby but I will come back here in a heartbeat for some AMAZING sushi and sashimi

I come to this restaurant pretty frequently but I will not return. I ordered spicy tuna/spicy salmon to go went to the parking lot and saw that my order was incorrect after I tasted a piece. I was told that because I ate one, they would just give me sauces and I could pour them on top of my sushi??? What?? You made the mistake, I came back to let you know and you tell me this? I will not be back

Starting from the service to the food. This little sushi spot is a hidden gem. Found ourselves here after a visit to Home Depot, and it didn t disappoint. Our waitress, Kimberly, was helpful, attentive and cheerful, everything you need in a waitress. I ordered the sushi burrito because it caught my eye on the menu, and it didn t let me down one bit. Tasty and just the right amount! The sauce it comes with pairs so well with it. My wife went with the classic chicken teriyaki bento box. Also very delicious. We tried the Yuki (lychee) Sake for the first time. I personally wasn t a fan but my wife on the other hand, LOVED it. I guess we found her new favorite sake. We will definitely return!

40 minute wait on 3 rolls!! Empty restaurant, rolls were made with excessive amount of cucumber, plates were mixed up by server due to lack of training. Food wasnt as good as reviews claimed to be. At the end of our sitting we kindly asked to split the check, again lack of training on servers, staff couldnt split checks and asked if we can pay for our invited guests items...

So to start we waited like 30 plus min for rolls when the restaurant was not even half full. The waiter did not even know which roll was which when he brought them too our table and we only had 4 rolls that were all different. An he never left straws at the rable when we got our waters, but was quick to give us our beer. The rolls also had so much cucumber in them it made the rolls disgusting. Ive been to many other sushi places and worked at one myself, so Im aware on how sushi is made an what it has in them, even something as simple as a California roll should not be 80% cucumber. This is not a 4+ star place. Do not waste your time with this place even on a slow day, to top it off he couldnt even split the ticket on what each of us ordered, and there was onky 3 of us. Other places are better like Ohana, BN sushi or suzushii. We wont be returning.

Always a favorite spot for our family. But the sushi chef was beyond pleasant a couple weeks ago. We usually order for pick up but we decided to eat here with our two year old. The sushi chef did some cute little designs with the food for our daughter. She absolutely loved it and we love seeing her so happy. The food is always delicious here but this experience was just lovely.
