The Grand Prairie Arts Council (GPAC) provides visual and performing arts opportunities for Grand Prairie and the surrounding communities. GPAC produces supports and sponsors many cultural events and programs such as: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Musical Arts, Fine Art Scholarships, Cultural Arts & Children's programming. GPAC has a renewed vision and energy for the Arts in our community with our permanent performance venue, the Uptown Theater; the GPAC Studio right next door to the Uptown Theater; and the GPAC rehearsal space at the Veteran's Park Event Center. Tickets for the 2022 season are still available on our website!

We were at the Bonnie & Clyde presentation last night. What a fabulous experience !!! The live band for the music was extremely good and made it much easier and clearer to hear the performers sing. I had my first Grand Prairie Arts Council experience -Legally Blond. Ticket personnel was nice and helpful in my seat selection (she turned out to be right -theres not a bad seat in the house). I very much enjoyed the play. The only dislike was the cussing -I wish the cussing had been left out. (i think I am used to Dallas Childrens Theatre where there is no cussing and the plays are just as spectacular)

This is a wonderful place to visit and be able to see the wonderful performances they have i have been impressed of every musical they have at this location and the service is always great you feel welcomed

Great production staff, with a myriad of artistic events going on year round. Its always lots of fun working with them, and visiting their events!
