Staff doesnt know their own rules - saw them sending tons of ladies with tiny purses back, the door girls tried to send us back and my sister pulled up the rule on the website saying 5x9 clutch purses are allowed and she was rude about it. Security let us through, no problem, because our purses were smaller than that! Parking situation also is ridiculous.

Nice venue. Directions are great and makes for an easy trip to the location. You can park, but also be dropped off in a convenient location right in front of the venue. Just FYI if you are dropped off, your ride(share) will have to park across the street in the grassy area and you will have to walk across the street to your ride.

Our tickets didn t transfer from our app but the workers at the Texas Trust gave us 3 free tickets that were better than our originals because to make up for it. All workers were very sweet and helpful. Also, some of the workers offered to take photos of us. Our Mitski concert was perfect thank you to the workers.

**2 stars** While the venues logistics were well-planned, the staffs behavior was shockingly rude. Entering the venue, the ticket attendant was kind, but security quickly soured the experience with their aggressive attitude. My friend and I were yelled at for moving too slow in a nearly empty entrance area. Inside, the ushers and food service were helpful, and I appreciated the plant-based food options and the smart decision to convert a mens bathroom for female use due to the concert s audience skewing towards the that demographic. However, leaving the venue was frustrating. I was in the lot across the street and followed a line of cars leaving the parking lot to an exit Google Maps directed me to. When it was my turn at the front of the line I just then noticed the orange cones the other cars ignored. Suddenly, out of no where a lot attendant from across the street comes running up to the cones waving her arms and yelled YOU CANT GO THERE!!! BACK UP!!!! and then before I am even able to process what was happening and shift my gear to reverse, this lady stares daggers at me with raging aggression as if I had just threatened her family and shrieks NOWWWWWW!!!!!! I genuinely was not trying to break any rules or outsmart traffic (there wasnt any, it was a very calm parking situation). I made an honest mistake - there was no need to react like a Karen in a viral freakout video! Just politely direct me to turn around. It was overall just a very unnecessary, rude reaction. To that lot attendant, I hope you enjoyed your power trip, princess. For additional context, there was only 1 attendant in that lot and she was in the opposite end. As a result, if you back out the car and go the opposite direction from her, you would have never seen her so there was room for error in understanding the exit situation! Overall, I firmly feel that I shouldnt have to deal with feeling like I am in an area full of prison guards on a power trip just to see one of my favorite artists. This venue did everything to be ready for crowd control and do things efficiently but they forgot the main thing when it comes to hosting an event: the attendees are GUESTS. I dont expect to be waited on hand and foot but I do expect to be treated with decency and respect - and I dont think that should be that big of an ask. To this venues manager, I encourage you to take my review as constructive criticism and have a chat with your team about ways that can still do a great job while treating the attendees with respect. For your reference, this was the Friday night of the Mitski concert (9/13/24) & the lot attendant that had the inappropriate reaction I believe had brown hair and glasses. I would greatly appreciate it if you spoke to security and the parking attendants from that night and advise them to be kinder to guests. Additionally, in the future perhaps add another attendant to the lot across the street to avoid another situation happening again. Otherwise, Id like to thank you for all the logistics that were thought of in advance to make things easier on the guests. Thank you for listening to my feedback.

I had a very bad experience with a black woman-security, not allowing me to enter just because a part of my small bag s sling didn t fit on their allowable purse/bag! She insisted for me to go back to the parking where our car was parked just to leave my bag. We then later on saw many others bringing inside bags/purses bigger than mine! That woman was so bad that she just picked me and insisted for me to go back! Until now I could never ever forget his face!

It was our first time there, we were there for the Air Supply show. The venue is located pretty close to a major highway that facilitates the access from anywhere on the DFW metro area. Once you are there the access to the parking lot and to the building itself is expedite. The restrooms are large and clean. The venue is clean and there is at least one food stand (didnt but anything there that night). The accoustic is great on the theatre and nothing block your sight in any place you seat. I am giving 3 stars because they charge you $30 for the parking lot and they dont give any receipt. It should be a law saying that the parking lot is included with what you already paid for the event. Shouldnt it?

Sound guy made excuses so was this venue or their sound guy? Not sure, although everything else in the venue was great, the sound ruined it all.boo

A Delight Experience at the Texas Trust CU Theater. I recently had the pleasure of watching 311 perform along with THE OPENers AWOLNATION, and NEON TREES, TONIGHT 08/21/ 2024. at first i did worry about getting lost! but I found The theaters intimate size creates a wonderfully personal and enjoyable atmosphere, free from feeling over crowded. The layout provides an excellent sightline (viewing) at any angle and it create a unique sound quality, ensuring a truly immersive experience for all. I found the overall ambiance to be very welcoming, making it a perfect venue for both individuals and families. I will certainly be looking for future opportunities to return to the Texas Trust CU Theater .

Good sight and sound, the problems with this venue are with restroom facilities, concessions, and security. There is only one restroom in one section of the theater. No restrooms or concessions are available for those in the balcony. Security turned our clear 5x 9 bag away because it was 1/8th of an inch too wide. We specifically purchased this bag for these type of events and the staff couldnt care less. The security staff were unprofessional and rude. Its easy to see why every show I attend here the place is half empty.

This is an AWESOME venue. Other than a little confusion on the parking as there was a cricket game going on at the same time...this place rocks. To appreciate it...you might need to be sitting on the lower level as I has some friends who were up top amd said it coukd be louder. The stage is big and allows for some pretty great Pyro and lighting. We say Lamb of God and walking out of the 100 degree heat into AC was fantastic. Would go see a show here again in a heartbeat!

I bought tickets to the Beach Boys. In addition to the ticket price, they snuck a service fee for about the same price as the tickets. I wanted to see the Beach Boys, so I didnt complain. When we arrived, I also had to pay an additional fee for parking (which was almost the price of the tickets). Once inside, we were forced to stand in the lobby for another 40 minutes. I saw a lot of older people excited to see the Beach Boys as well, but some were struggling to stand that long. I will never buy tickets from this venue again.

It was so bad I ended up calling the non-emergency line to let them know how terrible it was and that someone was likely to get into an accident or a fight. No exaggeration at all. In line just to park for at least an hour! Good show! But husband missed all the openers trying to buy concessions. My advice is to get there super early & just hang around because otherwise it s a nightmare

The parking facilities were convenient and the restrooms were ample. The pre-show dining experience was satisfactory. However, the egress from the parking lot was poorly managed, resulting in confusion and congestion, even for VIP ticket holders.

I enjoyed the concert. Parking was $30. Rules dictate the size purse allowed. Just enough room for lipstick and your cell phone.... Wear comfortable shoes, long walk to entrance.

Website either doesnt have info or it is hidden then they were telling women in line they couldnt have purses over a certain length/ size or they wouldnt be allowed in which caused a couple melt downs from women need a better system they have security people go through so notnsure what the issue was

Great concert, no wait lines moved easily and the check in process was smooth. And the concert was Incredible Angie Stone, Music Soul child and Ron Isley..

This is a very nice theater. I don t think there was a bad seat in the house. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained, the whole property seemed well maintained. I saw Celtic Woman here and it was the perfect venue to get a nice close seat that wasn t too expensive.
