09/06/2024: updating my review as this Cabana has gotten better. Their food quality and service has improved a lot since my initial review below. ______________ As a teen Cabana was our go to for good quick fajitas. I feel like their food quality has decreased in the past few years, but this location is one of the worst. I went there Sunday to get lunch around 12:30pm and was told they only serve breakfast until 1pm. What? What restaurant only serves breakfast until 1pm? Even ihop serves breakfast before 1pm. At one point this location was not letting you pull all the way forward in the drive through to the window. They would ask you to not pull forward until your food was ready, it was really odd. I ordered sour cream enchalads the other day and they just put a big glob of sour cream on top, not the sour cream enchilada sauce. I would like to see the cabana from 20 years ago, but that company seems to be dead.

Like most of the comments the service was super slow but the staff was really nice to us. Restaurant is very clean, bathroom included. Food tasted great, did the steak bowl, wife got a few tacos,no issues there. Salsa is light on spice in my opinion but my wife enjoyed the no heat. Over all we enjoyed quite a bit

Worst experience ever!!!! This isnt fine dining, yet we found ourselves waiting for 1hr for 3 ITEMS!!!!! The staff was very unprofessional and rude. They missed 2 of our items (1 taco and a bottled water) They made us feel like we were trying to get something for free when she was SOOO sure it was in the bag. They also didnt have bottled water so they just gave us a cup of water even though thats free anywhere instead of offering a refund. We were so fed up that we just left.

If I order online, and am able to select counter pickup I expect to be able to go inside your store. There is a handwritten sign on the door saying that only online orders may enter, sorry for the inconvenience, but then the doors are locked. Now I have to wait in the drive through for with all the other customers. What is the point of ordering ahead. So frustrating. Update: the first section was written as I was waiting on the drive through, and my experience somehow worsened. While in the line, I get to the speaker, and the cashier says welcome to taco cabana, one moment please. 5 min later I exclaimed that I was here and still waiting. He said that the I ahead of me was over $100 and they were short staffed. 2 more minutes at the speaker (16 min past my scheduled pickup time) I informed the cashier that I had an online order, he said pull forward and the team member was waiting with my order hanging out of the window. Why did I have to sit at that speaker if my order was already prepared? This was the worst customer experience Ive had at restaurant in a very long time.

The dining room is closed and there are no fountain drinks available. So why would the line take 40 minutes to get through when there were only 3 people ahead of us? Surely, with the dining room closed, it is all hands on deck working drive through and delivery orders. We ordered queso, and the chips we got were definitely from the day prior. Inedible. Would not go again. Would not recommend. Get your breakfast tacos from somewhere else in Texas. You definitely won t save time by eating here.

Normally I am a fan of Taco Cabana in Georgetown. However today changed that. I went in like I have every Sunday for last 2 months and ordered 2 bacon and egg breakfast tacos. I talk fast so I can understand misunderstanding. However, when I got 2 egg and bean tacos and went back and told them that my order was bacon and egg. The man who was busy earlier and had another employee help me I assume is the manager, told me I said bean and egg that he heard me. I told him that would be impossible since due to a surgery I had and dislike of beans and eggs together I would not have ever ordered a bean and egg taco. Instead of saying sorry for the misunderstanding he said they would remake it but I said bean and egg. He heard me order. . They did remake it but it was more tortilla than egg. There wasn t enough egg to cover more than a few bites in the middle. I could live with the less than quality taco since normally they do a good job. However, being told I was not telling the truth has cured me of a Taco Cabana run for quite awhile.

I have never had to wait soooo long at a fast food place! I first started off in the drive thru line which took 20 mins just to move an inch. So finally I backed out and went inside hoping it was quicker, but it was definitely not. We were in a big hurry and we had to wait forever it seemed like just for them to even start making our order. I was Hungry for steak fajita nachos and a quesadilla so I went to this Taco Cabana location, as I usually have a good experience at other locations. They werent busy, I ordered and got my food pretty fast. Well there was a reason for that as the steak fajita meat was over cooked (tough) cold and extremely salty I tried twice to let this restaurant know that there was an issue but they do not seem to care. Do not waste your money eating here, the company doesn t care that you waste your money here and have to throw it away. Even the manager of this location didn t care. Traveling often requires meals of convenience rather than choice. Taco Cabana definitely falls into that category roughly twice a year. While never a horrible meal, this brand does not capture the true flavor of Mexican or TexMex. Inside not open. Impatient on the drive through but Im sure she was tired of working. Food was as expected and expwnsive for 4 meals. As expected with inflation. Gone are the days of inexpensive fast food. Its ashame.

The older drive thru lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. She abruptly cut me off when I was talking, and when she handed me the food, she slammed the drive thru window in our faces. Not only that, she was giving me nasty looks. She should absolutely know better at her old age to not be acting that way to customers who were kind to her. She has no reason working in customer service if she can t even act like a decent human being and treat people with respect.

Come at 9 when the dine in and restaurant closes at 10 and they tell you they are doing drive thru only and then when you go through the drive thru they tell you they cleaned off the grill so they are not making any food. When they are open for a whole hour long? Seriously no one here wants to do there job dont wait your time or money.
