This place is a wonderful veteran owned business. The young gentleman named Ash really knows his stuff. Ask him anything about hot sauces? And if its in there, hes gonna know it, and hes probably going to know if its not. They make a whole lot of the hot sauces that are available. They also have shirts and several other little novelties, but they focus on their hot sauces. Then in the back, half of the building is a little restaurant where they have some incredible Tacos, we both had, the Gringo and I had a Birra taco so tender and moist with the dip. The lady running the place was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and was totally up on everything about their tacos, and the chef nailed it. Amazing, If youre in Georgetown, this is a must try..

I love this place but cannot give it a 5 because the menu NEVER changes. Just had it this evening and the same specials on the board EVERY WEEK. Menu hasn t changed in quite some time. Track my purchases, been coming here years to the same menu. Let me know when it changes and I ll come back

I wanted to visit this taco place to support a veteran and try out another local taco stand. Wow! I ordered two crispy shredded chicken tacos but I asked them to grill cheese on the griddle and add it to my tacos. OMG! Delicious. The crispy shells are a full on 10/10 because they were cooked in oil that has a great flavor and then they made sure that the shells were not greasy or soggy. They have both a red sauce and a green sauce. Both sauces were tasty, but the green sauce has a kick to it. It will bite back! Cute, friendly place! Enjoy!

They have fantastic sauce choices, but order a birria Ramen and you get microwave heated store bought Tapatio Ramen (served in the actual container from store) which can be purchased at Walmart for 1.87. Why would I go out to lunch at a restaurant to eat like I cant afford to eat only to be charged 11.00? So sad, we loved Mikey Vs..

This place is awesome! If you like spicy, try their hot sauce samples and the garlic. In the back, theres a taco shop. Its nothing fancy but dont let that fool you. The carnitas tacos had a great flavor and the meat didnt taste like it had been sitting there all day. The birria tacos with consume was excellent. So cheesey and full of flavor. The staff is also very friendly and very helpful. I think I found my new taco place.

Mikey Vs is a teleportation machine to Sleepy SoCal Beach Town. The tacos are legit (with the added Texas smoked brisket bonus). And the owner is a true hot sauce nerd. We tried the nuclear sauce (didnt catch the name) combo of Carolina reaper, ghost pepper, and I think habanero. It is no joke. For someone who eats Thai peppers like popcorn Im telling you that this is a hiccuping, sneezing, crying apocalypse of heat. I think I will try to compete in the upcoming contest to eat three tacos drenched in that agent orange sauce. Or maybe Ill choose to live a longer life. Not sure yet Well done Mikey V!!!

This is a little hidden gem that you need to check out! Its great to meander around the Georgetown square. But if you want a real tasty treat, you need to make a stop at Mikey Vs! While the store is font facing, hidden in the back is a taco stand with seating inside and outside patio. All three tacos that we tried were amazing. The Angry Pig pork taco was similar to a spicy chile verde sauce. It even smelled spicy. The carne asada street taco looked as good as it tasted. The beef fajita taco was good, but was disappointed that they did not offer a grilled chicken fajita taco. Honestly, it was just because I was in the mood for grilled chicken. Apart from that, Elijah was at the counter and he was very welcoming and friendly. Cant wait for my next visit here!

I ve come to this place a couple of times and the food has been good however I m writing this review because I m disappointed with the order I was given this time. I only received two salsas and they were basically empty. The Birria tacos had no sauce to them either just plain tortillas that were fried. For the first time I m highly disappointed and for the price I paid I am upset for the service I received this time around.

This is my sister s favorite taco place and she really wanted us to enjoy them with her while we were visiting. We all had Birria tacos which were good, but, apparently aren t my favorite. I d we go there again I will try something else. 4 of our party of 7 really enjoyed them, so I think it s personal Al preference. The restaurant is cute with a cute shopping area that sells varieties of hot sauce. They will gladly give you samples The restaurant has a challenge the Flame Challenge, enter if you dare! We enjoyed the place and would definitely go there again. This spot is on a town square and it s Poké Stops galore! (See screen shots of Poké World in the pics.)

I dont know where to start because everything I ordered was absolutely terrible. You get what you pay for, CHEAP FOOD. Their Quesadilla was so nasty, and extremely salty, and very greasy HEART ATTACK. The Carne Asada fries were ok, but I would never order again. Actually never go back. We eat everywhere, and I am honestly stunned about this place. I wish it was a better experience. Damn it. I almost threw up several times while eating it.

This place is a gem right in the heart of downtown Georgetown. The store carries hundreds of of different kinds of hot sauces which are fun to look at and taste. The people who work there are very knowledgeable about their locally made sauces. They make great gifts! They also have a taco restaurant in the back which are reasonably priced. We had the breakfast tacos which were delicious. They also come with 2 hot sauces, verde and rojo! This place is definitely worth a visit if Ben if you don t order or buy anything!

As a resident of San Diego and Austin for my whole life, honestly, one of the best taco shops around for quite a while, but continually moving toward losing their charm in the recent year. The CA burrito now features stew meat rather than carne asada and they have moved to crinkle cut fries rather than a steak fry or something more traditional to a CA style burrito. Because of the carne asada never actually being carne asada, I have always opted for the pastor in my burritos, but the crinkle cut fries throw it over the top. Dont become super burrito. You used to have top quality and were a place Id recommend. Now I can no longer do so.

Prices are reasonable. Beans have lard in it so not ideal for vegetarians. The guac looks and tastes like its from a package & not at all freshly made. The cheese quesdilla has nothing but a ton of cheese. Cheese is stringy/tastes processed. There was so much oil at the bottom of the to go cotainer. The salsas were the only good thing to me. The green salsa is so spicy. Red one is great also. It has potential. Maybe the other dishes are better?

First time getting tacos from Mickey V s. I ordered online and went inside and picked up my tacos. They had my tacos in a holding cubby. I think this is where the quality of the tacos went wrong when I got back to my Airbnb the tacos were so greasy And lukewarm. I was looking forward to eating some amazing tacos because of all the raving reviews about this place. Maybe, if I order in person, it would be a different experience. I gave 3 stars because even though that the tacos were super greasy, the flavor was really good.

Just went for the hundredth time since moving to Georgetown. Absolutely love them. Theyve got such amazing birria and pastor tacos that I cant be satisfied going anywhere else. Even when theyre busy, they do not take long to get your order out and the staff is always upbeat. The only thing that is missing is a delivery option. If Mikey Vs was on Uber Eats or just flat out delivered themselves, Id go broke quick, fast, and in a hurry.

My review went from 3 stars to 1 star today. The Sunday Special was shrimp ceviche which was nothing more than chopped cucumber, tomato, a few chopped overcooked shrimp served with stale chips. The taco el pastor was equally bad. And they no longer offer you a tasting of selected hot sauces with your meal just two squeeze jars of a red and a green.

Mikey V s is an outstanding taco and hot sauce shop on the square! Their hot sauces have won numerous awards and they have plenty to choose from. They also sell fruit preserves, sauerkrauts, and other jarred items. Everything we have purchased has been a delicious flavor bomb! I have only visited for breakfast tacos, but I look forward to going back for dinner. They also have some burger and torta options too. Overall, Mikey V s has a hole-in-the-wall vibe even though it has become quite a popular place in Georgetown. You must check it out!

There is a taco shop behind the hot sauce store! The sauce store is awesome, so many flavors. We got the fried garlic too, it was surprisingly crunchy and light with great seasoning. We got guac and chips, nothing fancy but tasted fine. The meat tacos were good and had lots of choices. But they do not have anything except one single veg taco option. Mexican cheesy corn was a treat.

What a dismal experience on our 2nd visit. Our $31.80 order was two quesadillas with a small sour cream, a small guacamole and two fountain drinks. The counter person took our order without the friendliness we had experienced on our earlier visit. From there it got worse. While we waited for our food we went to the salsa bar only to find it empty. When asked, the counter person told us she would bring salsa with our meal. She also offered up attitude and not in a good way. The employees then began to stack chairs on tables and remove the trash cans etc. We had to ask for to go containers which she set on the table next to ours. We got the message loud and clear we should leave. Mind you this was all before closing time. The last straw was when we tried to get a refill on our refillable sodas. We were informed at first it was broken then told they had turned it off in preparation of closing. When asked if we wanted her to turn it on we replied yes. The person walked off and went back to clearing our table. When we asked to see someone in authority we were told no one was there. She went on to say they had permission to get ready prior to closing time. It was the rudeness that was the final straw. The disdain and her uncaring attitude were unacceptable. If you re going to break things down early then tell people that, only offer takeout, or offer a discount but don t treat them like dirt for expecting delivery on what they purchased. We won t ever be back.

This was quite the unique dining experience. On the lovely Georgetown square is what seems like a yummy secret tucked away in the back of a specialty boutique hot sauce shop. My couson brought us here on a recent trip to Texas. We had the most delicious breakfast tacos. Mine were named hangover tacos. 10/10 recommend wether you have the hangover or not. The green sauce is great, even if I dont know what was in it. I normally cant eat anything too spicy or hot, however this sauce was wonderful! The place is charming and funky. The staff are friendly. Picked up a funny T-shirt. Later at the airport I found some Mikey Vs sauce in a shop and brought so.e home. Try try this place. You wont be disappointed.

Okay, I will start with : I suppose I had high expectations! I heard good stuff so I was expecting it. When you walk in a majority of the space is occupied by a hot sauce store front. The smaller area in the back has 4 (bit so big) tables for dining . Everything is plastic/ styrofoam. The seats are for porches which sort of bothered me because it was not meant for dining at a table! They angle up and are uncomfortable. We did not have menus to hold, only one smaller menu on the wall to squint at. First timers: so we asked the clerk what is good to order? After deciding one birria, one pastor, one torta and shared fries, we waited for our order. The seating area is small but has a full length mirror to give the appearance of a larger room. So, you re staring at yourself eating the entire time Little uncomfortable. Our food arrived and it was ok. The the torta was greasy on one side? The birria was not special but glad we tasted it. The pastor taco had good flavor but it was dry for my taste, not moist. The best thing was the carne Asada fries which we all shared. They were loaded, the meat was flavorful and it came with guacamole and sour cream. We should have added jalapeños? Underwhelmed. I would give it one more shot with breakfast which they serve all day! Had I known that, I would have started there. The hot sauce is where they shine. And I tasted a few of their faves. I would have liked a nicer dining area

We loved the Birria Tacos tacos, loaded with lots of cheese and all the fixings, my son thought the Birria Quesadilla was top notch. Careful with the sauces that green one has a bite, add a little lime and it goes magnificent with the tacos. A must have when your in Georgetown or passing through

Some of the best tacos around. Great flavors and they are not stingy on stuffing the tacos. Their birria taco is so good and a signature item. My wife loves the chorizo taco. My personal favorites are the veggie taco and the bean/ cheese ones. The veggie tacos are full of flavor. Bean and cheese are classic and solid. Great owners. Good people. Oh and it s also a taco sauce shop!! That s where it all started.

I love Mikey Vs!! You can get California style Mexican food here, which is really hard to find in Texas. Also, they have breakfast burritos!! I dont know why, but a breakfast burrito is way better than an overpriced taco that you have to buy 3 of to have an adequate amount of food. They are also fast and very friendly. Give this place a try.

Amazing hot sauces and really nice staff! I love their Sam Sauce. My spice tolerance is super low so I use very little of it but I love that its super flavorful and not just burn your tongue hot. Some hot sauces are just so hot that you dont taste anything and I dont see the appeal to that.

Mikey Vs is AWESOME!! Good protein bowls the meat is tender and very well seasoned, if your not a hot sauce fan, thats ok cause they have non hot sauces. I found myself a tad bit perplexed. 2al pastor tacos, meat dry, chewy, tortillas uneventful. 2 pops tacos came out indefinable, toppings strung over top of both making them undistinguished. Perception of value was left wanting. 4 tacos 2 drinks 20.00. I think a larger tortilla with the ingredients in the taco would be more satisfying. I would suggest tortillas from Limons instead of off the shelf. I like the shop, I like the place, but perception of value drives repeat patronage. Technique!

Mikey Vs Barria Quesadilla is delicious and so filling! I usually get two meals out of it. Order a side of guacamole with it. I just had the bacon/potato/egg & cheese breakfast taco with red sauce AND green sauce. First time ever that I had a compelling urge to hold up my hand and testify!
