Went on Friday, had the Catfish special, catfish very tough, hard to cut, probably fried earlier and served reheated . Okra was obviously frozen overcooked. Iced tea was like water, sent it back and got Diet Coke instead. Food should be served fresh and special. Will not come again.

Played music here last Saturday with Glen Collins. My wife came To the gig and loved the food and the service. The folks that work here sincerely care. Great place in Wahlberg. The owner Dale is onsite, highly recommended. Dog and kid (family) friendly. Kid-friendliness: Outdoors has a basketball court that the kids loved.

Im not sure why, but the first time I went food was good. My second time going, I could say food was ok. Every item in the menu is charg3d separately. Depending on how much you eat, you can share 1 order of fries with 2-3 people.

Our kayaking group stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant is in a quiet street in a neighborhood. The place is massive with indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is big and has a stage and several seating areas. Apparently they have live music regularly in the evenings which will be worth a return visit Lunch was slow but the service was great for a large group. Everyone enjoyed their food: the fried food plates were huge. Aside from the usual burgers and such, they were offering their famous smoked sauerkraut which I personally didn t like. I did like their coleslaw. You don t leave this restaurant hungry as the portions are very generous. It s a long way to go from Georgetown but it s quite convenient when you re around the area.

We have to reevaluate going there. They have specials during the week, and one is a chicken dinner! In the past, it has been quite good but over the past few months we have gone and invited friends to join us. To our surprise, they have been sold out probably 80% even as early as 5 p.m. Plus the last time went, they only had dark meat and as shown in pictures, it was mostly breading. SO, well be a while before going back since they dont have enough food week after week! Not going to waste the fuel just to get aggravated when we can go to Long Horn for the same amount, better food, and excellent service!! Used to be a good place for a quick meal. On the high side price wise. Hope they work out their problems!!

Great little roadhouse. Stopped for a late supper. Enjoyed the homemade flavors of meatloaf, chicken, and appetizer Jalapeño strips deep fried with fries. All the dishes were very good and the service as great. It gets a little loud in the main room, but we had a great meal.

Steamed broccoli was perfectly prepared! Fried okra is always hand breadeid, so awesome! My friend had blackened Grilled Catfish she said two fillets were too much and gave me one, OMG their blackened Catfish is extremely yummy. The Service was superb!

Despite the name, Dales has very little German food - as a typical roadside diner it may excel, but those looking for something approaching German food should look elsewhere. The sign says to seat yourself, but I sat for a good ten minutes with no response from waitstaff before I left. Because I was unable to obtain any service at all, I cannot rate the food itself.

Passing through Walburg on our way to Cosco in Georgetown. I had the patty melt and it was great and the side of onion rings were tasty and plenty. My wife had a brisket sandwich and it was dry and not to tasty. She had no side and a ice tea. Everything I had was Ala carte. I ordered a Dr Pepper and it came in a can so when I needed a refill it was extra. The onion rings were extra and we had a piece of cake to share. It was really good. Total bill $50.
