The Williamson County Gem & Mineral Society holds its yearly Gemboree there, hosting forty or more vendors. The facility is always tidy and ready for action. The layout enables customers a fun shopping experience of viewing and purchasing various valuable fossils, jewelry, educational activities.

I attended a young lady s debut in Georgetown Community Center this weekend. Debutante Cassie was all glam-pretty in red. It was a lovely evening and the venue made it a lovelier event. The center has a large hall that can sufficiently gather more than 250 persons or even a lot more. It has an inviting feel to it and, when beautifully decorated, it creates a stunning and elegant ambiance. Its kitchen area is large; it is equipped with stove, commercial refrigerator and a long stainless steel prep table. Chairs and tables are available. Two things that can possibly add value to the center when added are ice maker and projection/sound system. I highly recommend this center. Just be prepared, though, to bring all in, including of course sound system, projector and everything in between. And, oh, don t forget the ice.

This is a very nice and spacious venue located in the heart of the San Gabriel Park in Georgetown. It is not a fancy place or really upscale, but it is a clean well-kept community center environment that is great for educational, trade gatherings, family parties and celebrations and etc. I have attended event here several times over the past decade and its always been clean and well kept. It has ample bathroom and kitchen facility along with a generally bright feeling and high ceilings. One thing I have heard people who hosted events here say, is that it takes a lot of decorations to make an impact on such a large room! Understandable of course. I would definitely recommend this place for a large gathering of family or friends or hosting something for a trade show or organization. Like I said its not super fancy but its clean and well kept. The parking has never been an issue and Ive attended an event that has about 250 people there. There is also a sunken garden out in front that a lot of people comment on and enjoy. If youre considering this place, just know that its about exactly what I said it is and you can see pretty well from the pictures also.

Georgetown Community Center is very nice place. It is very organized. Anyone can rent it for any kind of programs, wedding ceremonies, parties & conferences. It is a giant hall with a decorated lawn. You can also arrange your event outside. About thousand of people can get together in this place easily. They have men and women separate washrooms. It has a giant kitchen so if want arrange food you can do it over here. They have nice facilities. Very nice decorated and they also have nice sound system too. Its in a nice location with huge parking area. I liked it.

We have held two quinceañeras at this facility for our daughters as well as attended a wedding and four other family quinceañeras. This is a fantastic facility, spacious, a very useful kitchen with large refrigerators and lots of parking. It has excelled every time that we have been there and we highly recommend this facility for anyone planning a celebration.

The Williamson County Gem & Mineral Show was phenomenal!!! I was very impressed with the variety of vendors and products available and blown away by the cool prizes awarded to the raffle winners! If you havent been and you enjoy eclectic crystals, rocks, and/or gorgeous jewelry, I would highly recommend adding this event to your calendar for next year.

We went to the Georgetown Community Center to have a freeCovid-19 cheek swab test. The facilities were set up very well to handle the people so no one was crowded. The cheek swab test was much easier then the nose swab, and as I understand it, much more accurate.

Im a long time resident of Georgetown and have been to the Event Center on other occasions, and yesterday I visited the Center for my COVID-19 test the staff was great and the line was short I actually enjoyed my experience with the young lady at the entrance and then the lady and gentlemen who took my information, and when I went to the swab area the two gentlemen were precise and gave excellent instructions and how to get back to my vehicle keep up the great work Georgetown Texas

Only go here once a year for the Rocky Elk foundation banquet. Never could understand why my husband and son loved attending it every year til I decided to go and see what it was all about. That was 3 years ago and there is no way they are going with out me. Its a great time. There is plenty of room to walk around and its in a good location. Parking isnt great. So have to get there at least an hour or more BEFORE your event starts if you dont want to walk a long ways .

It is 50 degree out side and they had all tbese special need wait out side in the freezing cold weather because they werent ready on time. Wind was blowing 20 miles per hour with wind chill factor close to 40 degree. They wouldnt even let the clients in the lobby. Most of tgem were in comstume freezing and shivering. See photo below.

Great place for my church, St Johns United Methodist, to have our annual Harvest Fest the first week and in October. Wonderful place for a large event as or accommodates a huge number of people. The kitchen is really large with room for many people to be preparing food at one time. Adequate refrigeration space, 2 large ovens, and a commercial gas range. Theres lots of space for a craft show, bake sale, vendors, silent auction, live auction, entertainment, and many tables to accommodate hundreds for our turkey dinner. There is an outdoor pit which is perfect for keeping our turkey warm. Theres also an area on the side of the building for us to set up a drive-thru. The center was remodeled and updated several years ago.There are 2 restroom areas. Lighting is very good. Air conditioning was great for our 90+ Saturday. Nice facility owned and operated by the city.
