If this review is still up, then we are still in probate. My fathers probate was assigned in February 2022. While we have been able to schedule meetings with Mr Place, he and the legal aid Janice have been very reassuring. Though they sympathize with the unforeseeable hardships our simple probate case is having, Mr place apparently forgot who we were by the 2nd meeting (thinking we were probating my mothers death instead of my fathers.) As of now Ive not received any further status of probate, life insurance, or updated debts from lacking returned emails. If given another chance, I would go with an attorney who had never done a probate case. Im writing this review with hopes they will renew the Letters of Testamentary with the appropriate names of the executors and do more than wait on a call back from the life insurance that wont honor the claim. Without appropriate names, my hands are tied as an executor since that legal document is what gives the power of estate.

I called for some help with a property dispute regarding fence placement on property line, I was told by Alan the the person replacing the fence had the right to put the new fence anywhere they wanted on my property because they was fronting the cost of the new fence, I felt that this was wrong & I went to dunam and dunam in Waco and they said that that was completely false all fence builders have to stay on the property line & follow the property line rules that Texas has. Alan is a crooked & trash lawyer and his bar should be revoked

Allen has helped us many times over the years. We have always had the best outcome possible( even when there was very little hope for a decent outcome!). He is upfront and straightforward; he doesn t sugarcoat it. I would highly recommend this law office.

At this point I still havent met Alan or Tonya Place. Ive been dealing with the secretary there. They wont let me know whats going on and Ive been calling them to find out about my court date. Im tired of calling them - they should be calling me or at least sending something by mail. Im supposed to go to court today but of course havent heard anything. But they are were quick to bill me twice for the filing fee, after I had paid it.

I would not recommend. Their profile says quick service. However, I was advised by the assistant to bring in some paper work I wanted changed because he was working on another case and that he would get back with me. They ve had the paper work for well over 2 months and I ve called multiple times and STILL haven t heard back from him!! Then when I call, the assistant has no answers for me. I m getting my paperwork and headed somewhere else. Luckily it wasn t an emergency and needed done right off. Will not recommend to anyone.
