Service is ok not that fast. Most viet restaurants are like that. Famous grilled fish here is good but sometimes we have a bad one where the fish is not fresh...meat is mushy. Sometimes it s over cook...fish is too dry.

The servant, an old Vietnamese gentleman has no manners and very unfriendly when attending customers. Has no idea how the food is made and was very upfront when he said he is not the chef. If you decide to go and see an old servant, white hair, ask foe another server.

Went to Dong Que in Garland (Jupiter and Walnut). We ordered the Bo Cuon La Lot (ground beef wrapped in Hawaiian leaf) to make our own Spring Rolls. The dish comes out deconstructed and you make your own roll. Very Fun, Healthy, and Delicious. They are BYOB! Food

The owner is very dishonest very manipulative towards her menu. I asked her for some soup and fish items for one person portion. She bought out a soup and fish dishes enough to serve 8 people! My wife and kids ordered food as well. So now I have to take all this leftover to the hotel with nowhere to store it! Why do you need to lied just to make a few bucks off of out of towner. I hope you enjoy that money you scammed from me.

Food is downgrade with new management I guess. Service is worst. Half way through my food and had to ask where my drink. Then I ordered a togo box and wait almost half hour. Place was empty at time. Again came ask the counter and the server brought out food like it was long ready. Servers were busy chatting at the counter. Guess they dont need tips. You don t wait till customers stand up and ask for things

One of my favorite spots to grab some bomb rice dishes. I love the soups that comes with the rice dishes but I don t know how I feel about their Bun Bo Hu . Their pho is alright but I do like their grilled pork with rice and shaking beef. Check out their menu and order what you like ;) They have some delicious food for parties as well and the atmosphere is pretty chill. Waiters and waitresses are helpful and attentive. I like to come once a month to satisfy my cravings. I m always happy to see familiar faces. Alright guys, check them out and give me a thumbs up if ya enjoy the food. I ll catch you guys later

This is hands down THE BEST place for pho. My fiancé and I came here by accident, we wanted to go to Pho Bang in the same parking lot but they were closed for vacation, we have tried Pho Bang since, and Dong Que should have much higher reviews because their pho is simply so much better!!! When you arrive, you wait to be seated. We were a little nervous at first because this place is VERY authentic, and we only know english, but the servers are very patient and helpful figuring out the menu. They have letters and numbers next to their menu items that make it so easy to order! When you are going to pay, you go up to the order desk where they will have your receipt, containers, boxes, and bags. Their decor is very beautiful, they have statues, shrines, and hanging displays all over that are eye catching and traditional. They also have TVs where they play a lot of food making videos from across the world that are very interesting and entertaining!

Dong Quê restaurant in Dallas offers an authentic culinary journey through Vietnam. The vibrant flavors of their dishes, from the savory pho to the aromatic banh mi, showcase a meticulous attention to detail. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall dining experience. Dont miss the opportunity to savor the rich diversity of Vietnamese cuisine at Dong Quê a delightful gem in Dallas that promises a true taste of Vietnam. I would like to see cleaner rest room that would give much of its reputation good foods and a decent restaurant.

The crab in the Cua Rang Mu i and C m Cua Lá Sen dish was mushy which meant it was not fresh. There was also a lack of meat after opening the crab. The roasted quail did not taste good at all. I did like the H n Xúc Bánh Tráng dish as the salty clams went well with the sesame rice cracker. Lastly, the physical menu itself is nice as each item has an accurate English description and sometimes even an image.

Order a large ca nuong da gion ( bake catfish) now the server look like he don t want to be there. Never once came check up on us. I had to go up to get more drink order when my guest arrived. I understand completely how everyone is in the business to make money and make customers happy. But how in the world if I m ordering a large fish for 70 dollar I get only one small side of noodle. So I order another side of noodle when we ran out. Charge me 3 dollar. I understand inflation etc etc. but why did I just pay 80+ for a couple meal and get one order of noodle. That s like ordering 5 noodle dish for two and only get one order of noodle. If I would ve ask for a 3rd side of noodle I totally understand. But not the second one lol. Definitely going to Saigon block next time around. I had four ppl with me and order an extra large catfish. They brought extra noodle without me even asking. An I gave extra tip. It s not about the 3 dollar. It s about common sense and principles

Since I was craving for banh canh cua aka Vietnamese crab noodle soup and many people recommend this place for it, so I decided to try it out. Sadly they don t have banh canh cua in their menu anymore, but banh canh do bien instead. The soup was good, especially with breadsticks (gio chao quay). The noodles were hard and not chewy at all so I was disappointed. There were only 2-3 small shrimps, couple small pieces of squid and fish balls. I personally think that the dish is not worth the price.

Food is great. Has many menu items. The one thing I dont see at any other restaurant is the green mango salad. Ive only found it at one other restaurant near Chico. After you mix the sauce that they give you on the side with it its amazing. The green leaves they mix in it make the dish even better. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have an area for large parties. Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes you can exclude meat or fish from the dish and maybe add tofu. Parking: Big parkinglot up front Kid-friendliness: I see many families in there with very young kids. Lots of menu items if your kids like asian food. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs in the restaurant and tables that will fit a wheelchair. They have a couple of different spots along the sidewalk where a wheelchair can roll up.
