This is the best Ethiopian food I ve had in Dallas. Tastes fresh and homemade. Low-key spot, you can stop in and get a drink too. I have only ordered out, and they are always on time and friendly.

This place is HORRIBLE and FRAUDULENT - definitely CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. I went here for the first time to try something new and was met at the door by the new owner. He gave me the menu (see picture) with given pricing, and I **point** to the Lamb/Goat tips that are $15. I give my credit card instinctively at check out to pay but when I get the receipt to sign I see that Im being charged $21. Despite showing him the actual item on the menu, this guy claims that he is the new owner and forgot to mention about the price change and that his menus have not been updated yet. I dont believe any of this because he was hesitant to even give me the receipt for the refund. Well heres the proof now. Hopefully some governing entity does something about it.

I m familiar with Injera alrighty, I had a date who has never tried Ethiopian food before. We ordered the number 3 lamb/Goat tibs and it was amazing! He loved it and so did I. Customers service was great it felt like we were at home. My date at the time wanted to see the basketball game playing and THEY HAD IT ON! It was a great time you have to give them a try

We ordered our dinner before we got there. It took them 1 hour to bring our food. I asked why on the other day. The lady who picked up told me that some people order and they don t show up. I hope they have another option for the loyal customers. For the third time I called to order to go. The lady who picked up was so rude and the way she talked to me is unheard of. The food was spoiled. I will never go there. I never reviewed before but the lady left me no choice. I don t wish anyone to be treated the way I did. I am Ethiopian and miss Ethiopian food. This is not how we show respect to our guests. Smh I can t lie and give them good review because we are from the same country. Sorry but no

Friendly service and amazing food. It was my first time experiencing Ethiopian and I will be back. The server helped me order. She suggested something safe and something unique. I had 6 children with me and we all enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

As an Ethiopian, Im very picky when it comes to the test of our food and since I moved to the Dallas area 2 years ago, Ive visited almost all the Ethiopian restaurants in the DFW area and none of them where to my standard in terms of the test although they had a great customer services. Kezira Cafe is the one place where I felt the real test. Their butter is authentically Ethiopian and reminiscent of my childhood. My wife (who is also Ethiopia) and I ordered the Kitfo, Derik Tibs and the Doro Wote to go. It was the BEST Ethiopian food we had in a long time.

Dont let the menu overwhelm you. I never know wat is wat at African restaurants, we did a bit of research before we went and then asked. The staff was very good to help, it may have been the owner; not sure. The food was delish! We love injera, and its gluten free (teff flour, buckwheat, and sorghum). Not necessarily good to eat on a daily basis, but fine for a treat every once in a while. Will definitely be back!
