The 8th worst hotel that exists in the United States. For everything you need to use the card, it doesnt even have a pool. They gave me room 313. It wasnt even clean, but they did require a deposit of 40 dollars. It was super small and ugly. To be so demanding.

Nastiest hotel Ive ever stayed in. The entire campus stinks badly. Our room smelled badly of cigarette smoke. It was even worse after we showered. You can hear the highway in the room its very loud. Never stay here. Gross.

Pleasantly surprised about the cleanest of the rooms and the nice fellow at the front that checked me in was efficient and got me in my room quick. I just had a motorcycle accident and I dont feel good and dont feel like waiting around, I need a clean room. From the reviews I expected worse but its actually very nice, so far so good. The room itself is clean. My only complaint is that the room has a weird smell. I even went out and bought Febreze and that didn t help. You can also hear the highway from the room so if you re looking for a quiet place, I don t suggest this hotel . The beds aren t very soft. The staff is very polite and helpful. Overall it s not a bad place to stay if you re just looking for a cheap, clean place to stay for one night.

They have good cable TV with a lot of channels.Yet the light right by the main entry. Moreover the bed was super comfortable and the room was pretty decent. Food and drinks: The free breakfast was very little. The juice didnt taste right.

For what it is, in my experience (extensive), one couldnt hope for much better. Quiet locale, clean, attentive and responsive staff! Twice ive stayed at this location and only had 2 minor issues, not worth even mentioning. It is obvious the staff is doing the best they can with what theyve inherited. Great couple of visits. Recommended, if you cant or dont want to afford e.g. the Omni, or whatever. Noteworthy details: The staff was Awesome!

Paid in advance for two nights. Get home to find out that my bank account had been hit for a 200, 125, 100, 75 and 25 because they said I smoked in the room. I dont smoke. The room had obviously been smoked in previously I never had any warning no one ever said anything to me I checked out left and now Ive got this problem. 540 dollars worth of charges and I dont even smoke cigarettes. The room was mediocre at best, floor and carpeting were well-worn, bathtub shower curtain had been ripped off the wall and there were holes in the fiberglass tub. Add breakfast there was no milk for the cereal, there was no juice apple or orange juice. The machines simply did not work. The vending machines only accept dollars and not credit card so unless you have change or cash you cannot get a drink without leaving the hotel. Youll drive 5 miles to the nearest store. Good luck getting your $40 deposit back, with any luck youll get out of there without being charged over $500 and accused of smoking in the rooms. The room gets two stars and the man that checked me in was very helpful so I gave a star for him; three stars. Rooms: Dated; noisy due to I-30. Nearby activities: None Walkability: None

The room I stayed in had the ceiling light dangling out of the socket and the shower rod was ripped off wall and balanced on the shower wall. The staff and everyone was aware and said they would get to it. Room should have never been rented out. Especially at full price! Wish I could post pictures I definitely took some. Pool was not available and the gym... no gym even tho its advertised. Breakfast was minimal

Super disappointed in Super 8. They double charged me when I pre-paid. Then, when I got there, they forced me to pay another $40 that they hold for several days even though we already pre-paid. I could have refused the $40, but lost the prepayment. This was not explained upon pre-payment. If I didnt happen to have the extra $40, they wouldnt have let me have my room. Parking is atrocious. Get into the room: the floors were stained & nasty, the tub was broken, toilet was rigged like we were in some 3rd-world country, TV had a giant black line running down the middle, & the doors were unlevel & kept swinging open. But, this is all typical of a Wyndham hotel. If Id have known Super 8 was bought out by Wyndham, Id have never rented a room. Ive NEVER once had a good experience at a Wyndham hotel. Shame on Super 8 for selling out, you used to be a nice place to stay.

The mini refrigerator did not work in the room. There was coffee but no creme or sugar in the room. The ceiling above the room door had a big water stain that leaked water. The room did not have an iron or an ironing board. The room did not have a box of Kleenex upon check in. The breakfast selection was minimal.

They had to transfer me from room to room on two occasions. The first room 112 had stains with what I think was excrement, it was disappointing, the second room 107 the air conditioning broke down, In the end 105 was a clean room with air conditioning but the hair dryer did not work,... and simply because I had to move my suitcases from one place to another it was very uncomfortable and overwhelming... customer service It was exceptional, and the people who cleaned the rooms gave excellent service... but I was not satisfied with the condition of the room... it was disappointing!! I saw several cockroaches in the first room :(

This Super 8 and its management have been good to me. When I lost my necklace, they couldve kept it. But when I called they said they would keep it for me until I could pick it up. Theyre clean rooms, old, but clean. They do a good job with upkeep and on returning your deposit in a timely manner. The management and staff are very nice and accommodating. I will recommend to anyone. Only thing is its a set price for them and they wont price match, so book online.

I do Not recommend this Super 8 by Wyndham Garland!! The security lock on the door didn t work. The entire carpet had stains. There was dust, dirt, and debris. The room had a stench. The sheets were wrinkled, as if they had not been changed, I asked for a clean set of sheets, I didn t realize I needed to include the words, and pillow cases . There was hair in the tub and drain, also on the pillow and end table. The ice machine was not working, there was no breakfast. Oh and the key card holder (the sleeve) had been used. I expected more from Wyndham.

I usually dont write hotel reviews. But this one had to be written. I came in around 2p.m. The clerk was nice that I checked in with. I got to my room and the room smelled like mold. There were stains all over the carpet. The bed had a worn out matress that had dips all in it. But none of those were the reason for me leaving at 2 a.m. It was the fact I was awakened by some thing crawling on me. So I jump out of the bed and went to the bathroom were I found a roach crawling around on the floor. I immediately got my things and checked out. From my experience with this hotel do not waste your time or money. Not good at all.

My family had to get a hotel for the night due to the AC not working and having to wait until the next day to have it fixed...paid $100 instead of the price shown of $60! Second of all, the area, property, and rooms are not safe!!! The security chain in the door was broken, making our family uncomfortable sleeping here and having the possibility having someone just walk in. Multiple shady people just walking around. The bad part is the parking lot is super small and if you have to park in the front due to space they make you enter the building all the way in the back. Definitely didnt feel safe walking around with my kids. Also, breakfast is non existence when its included in the price! A broke down juice machine with mouth wash cups as serving cups? Really? Random yogurts and cheap coffee. They had the waffle, cereal, and other machines closed off! STAY away, especially if your coming with your family! I wish I would of gone done more on highway 30 and rented in Rockwall instead of the ghetto side of Garland/East Dallas. Oh and also we found a adult toy at the bottom of the night stand! So disgusting! Shows how much the rooms are cleaned! Not to even mention the strong smell of smoke in the hallways and rooms. Lastly the mattress are very hard and old, they sit in top of a wood panel with no mattress box making the mattress slide off. Overall, just horrible experience all around. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

My first room had a homeless person sleeping on the bed. I was assigned another room and the second day when I returned, the door was open. I had locked the door when I left. In addition, the carpet was so sticky, room 110, that I had to wear my shoes inside of the room. I switched to another hotel after I found my door open. Very disconcerting and I would not recommend this hotel.

So in 2 nights the fridge was broken when we got there. The ac was off or the heater on one amd the room was so hot you couldnt breathe. There was a burn mark on the floor. Someone smoked cigarettes inside. The door didnt work. My car was blocked my cops making me late for work. The hair dry fell off the wall exposing hot wire that could have easily electrocuted me. The cleaning lady walked in while i was changing wo knocking. The water is either scalding hot or blasted cold. The cleaning lady the. Came back after we left after we explicitly asked her not to. And turned off our ac opened our curtains and it was nice the bed was made and fresh towels though honestly id prefer privacy. The hair dryer was fixed... But then fell again this am amd i really almost did get electrocuted again. Called to let the front desk staff know and they seemed less than uninterested in the fact i was nearly bodily harmed by their lack of maintenance.. The people who own this place OBVIOUSLY LIVE THERE. there are zero amenities and breakfast starts so late and ends so early you can coumt on it... . this is NOT. Worth 50 a nighg

Thank you Vinay for making us feel comfortable! Because our normal hotel was booked, we were able to get the last room at the Super 8 and were pleasantly surprised! The thing that jumped out the most to me was how clean the room was. I can deal with an older mattress and older bathroom style as long as the room is clean and I feel safe on the property. Again, you can tell the manager Vinay takes great pride in the property.

I like staying here when I need to find an affordable place quickly. The staff is awesome and are always willing to accommodate when I need anything. My only complaint, and this is not really their fault, is the sheer amount of meth heads who are constantly wandering around the property. They will wait by the door until a guest uses their card to enter and slip inside. They are also up at all hours of the night, slamming doors, stomping around their rooms, or screaming at each other. None of this goes on during the day. The rooms Ive stayed in are always very clean and nice, appliances always work which is a plus. Another great thing is the soundproofing is wonderful. I couldnt hear the cracked out couple next to my room screaming at each other until I had to go out into the hallway. Housekeepers also do a great job and are always very helpful.

I booked this room because the air went out in our house. The rooms were clean, didnt try the breakfast though. My only complaints were the air in room 210 didnt blow as cool and the water pressure in room 103 sucked. I felt more like the last guest of the day and the front desk clerk was ready to go home or something. the room was fine. there should be a guide for the television so guest dont have to flip through every channel to find something they may enjoy. also, the AC unit doesnt heat. it is December and when I get out of the shower I would prefer the room to be on the warm side. prior to turning on the shower so that the water could warm up(which took OVER 10mins to do and even then it was barley warm) I turned the heater on so that after the shower I wouldnt be shocked by the temperature of the room but Im uncertain if it was the unit or that is just how they work at this established, but the room temperature only rose 2° after he 10min wait and the shower.... that doesnt sound right, right?? anyway, that was my experience.

I got a room at the motel next to this one. After getting a refund cause i wasnt gonna room with roaches...i came here. I was in a bind cause i had a set amount of money after traveling and wasnt planning on that happening. The guy at the front desk worked with me. And we got everything squared away. He helped me with the price and the room is great. Fridge and microwave. Breakfast in the lobby downstairs. Enough towels and this room is very clean. I went to Walmart and came back and my bed was made and i got new towels. Love it and it turned my bad night in to a good one. Good job ! My son and i thank you !

Room was very clean. Just installed brand new carpet in halls. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Room outdated. Mattress was worst I have ever slept on. Hard and could feel springs. This review is for price I paid. So if you expect glorious hotel then you have to pay more. Also hotel being right next to I-30 kinda noisy. Grounds are also clean. Just the awful hard springy beds we had 50 years ago. Lol. The manager on duty and his wife and guessing his dad are all nice etc. For price same breakfast at every Days Inn. Except this location get yogurt. But I been to lots of Days inn. All same cereal, same bread, same coffee, same waffles etc.

Halls and rooms smell like weed and cigarettes. Room smelled of urine. Its literally so disgusting to even be here. Bathroom floors need to be redone, theyre coming apart.
