The park itself is awesome! I only explored a little bit with my dogs because of course a genius female decided to walk her dog around off leash. I expected nothing less but I came in with a spark of hope that people would follow the rules but the world proves me wrong yet again. The 2 stars is genuinely for the people that ruin everything for everyone else. There s literally no way to enforce this because she proudly walked her dog around knowing she s untouchable. If you don t have dogs then you should be fine!

This park is the BEST, there is a lot of space you can do a day of camping, riding a bike, walking, etc., it also has nails [lagoon is like a lake but wide] Hermosa with ducks and swans and a park for the children to have fun with Vista Hermosa is incredible the BEST park.

Clean, well kept and plenty of parking zones. Only downside is the water fountains don t work. (For the doggies) Playground: Plenty for the kids to do. Different playgrounds throughout the the hiking trail. Dog-friendliness: All friendlies. Picnic area: Spread out through the park.

I come here for moments of peace,relaxation and healing. Ive been dealing with Stage 4 cancer for some time and this is my little touch of paradise. Its close to my home and its beautiful. It also Welcomes me when I visit. I think the trees know I need them.

The playground is nice and simple. A good stop along the trail if you have kids with you. Parks and Rec recently put a fence around the playground so it is safe. Playground: Simple. No swings. Frog themed Dog-friendliness: Walking trail, open grass areas and trash cans to discard poop. Picnic area: A couple shaded picnic tables with grills are available

Parking lot connects to the Duck Creek Greenbelt Park trails & playground. The playground is now gated, which is great for young children. Lots of space to explore & play! Playground: Playground structure is primarily built for 5-12 year olds, but is enjoyed by all ages! Climbing structures & slides (no swings). A fence has been added around the perimeter of the playground - this is such a benefit for parents of young kids!

I come here often. Great paved trails with pockets of nature. Theres a disc golf course, plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, and e night workout circuit as well. Everyone I come across is nice and cordial. I feel very safe here.

Great place to go walking with your family without having to go outside of the city for a nice wooded trail. The trees keep it cool while you walk. The vegetation is very neatly maintained so to prevent bugs and pests. We enjoy spending time here.

If youre new to the city, this park is one of the best places to watch the sunset. Its a great park to walk at or run at. You cant hear the traffic from so many trees, its peaceful. A perfect place to go clear your mind with some active meditation.

This is home to me from growing up and learning to ride a bike with my sister on these trails to walking my first dog. To even living across the street and walking my dog today on these trails. The view is absolutely beautiful. There is a pond in the middle with some picnic tables and a creek that all the little kids including myself when I was little used to play in. Then they just built a new park for the kids and all in all its a great little day adventure to plan for the whole family. I would recommend this place Everytime. !!! P.s. Dont forget to bring some old bread to feed the ducks its not called duck creek trail for nothing!!

Honestly, the city of garland should be doing more to keep this place. It s good but not well maintained, low tree branches hanging on the pass of the trail, muddy trails, high weeds, Bunch of dead trees hanging almost fallen representing a clear danger for visitors. Trails to low with rain water running across forcing people to go around into the wetlands to pass through.!! People totally disrespect the park rule about dogs without leash. Dogs are running wild and some aren t friendly. Not to mention the main creek the runs in between how hard should it be to elevate a new bridge for the tax payers? This area of the creek is the must dangerous after a raining season, the inclination to get down is extremely slippery, Also the small lagoon gets badly overflowed cutting the pass for weeks this requires a underground drainage period. Very disappointed !!
