The place is very nice and the waiters are very friendly. The service was fast and they had a good variety of juices. The only thing I didnt think was that they dont say and I dont think they have a notice on the menu where it stipulates that they automatically add the 18% tip. When you pay they dont give you the receipt with the charges unless you ask for it. The problem is that by doing that you dont realize that they have already charged the tip and you can even tip twice. I dont have a problem with the tip, but let me know.

I went to Mi Pueblito with my wife to watch the Colombian futbol (soccer) game. Its worth noting that when Colombia plays you have to get reservations in order to get a seat or table. The food was excellent, and according to my wife it was authentic Colombian food. My one minor gripe on the food was we ordered a combination platter that was quite expensive because it came with something special. I think it came with steak or something like that. Apparently they were out of the steak because of the huge crowd. Not a big deal, but they still charged full price. Fortunately my wife is a native Spanish speaker and we got it sorted. If you only speak English you may have trouble ordering food or explaining what you want. I wasnt prepared for the atmosphere. Nothing could have possibly prepared me for it. The level of energy and excitement that everyone in that restaurant felt and shared whenever Colombia made a goal cannot be captured with words. The craziest thing was that even though its a full on bar as well as a restaurant, people were bringing children. Small children. Babies even! But it kind of added to the atmosphere of joy and excitement. If youre wanting to check out some authentic Colombian food, Mi Pueblito Is a great choice. But if you really want to experience this place, come sometime when a soccer game is going on. Its totally amazing. Great drinks too. Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly!

Traditional homey Colombian dishes with great flavor profiles. We always purchase breads to take home to have the next day. Best Colombian breads, hands down in the City. This was my second time with my family, and customer service was very attentive. Restaurant clean and pleasant. Usually, 5-6 family members meet up at this hidden jem every chance we get and enjoy a beautiful meal together .

This place serves decent Colombian dishes, and the employees provide good service to their customers. The only downside of this restaurant is that they are pushing you to pay 18% of gratuity to all the parties, no matter the size (including sole individuals). In my experience, I paid the amount my server told me verbally as my ticket and, when I signed the merchant receipt, I included more tips over the gratuity already imposed. The card receipt does not show the itemized bill, and whoever makes the transaction lets the customers give more gratuity without acknowledging the imposed tip. It seems like a well-structured scheme to get more tips from patrons. On my second visit for lunch, I requested the printed bill because I felt it was too much, and I confirmed what I present in this review. Other than being aware of this sketchy situation, it is worth it to taste their food. BUT BE CAREFUL WHEN PAYING YOUR BILL!

They recommended this place to me a few days ago and the truth is, I dont know they were wrong, its very delicious, it was worth it. It seems disrespectful to me that they collect the tip without saying, they took 52 dollars from me for a soup and 5 empanadas. I didnt realize it because I was hungry and wanted to eat and go home, but when I got there, I analyzed and paid 52 plus 8 dollars, so I stopped telling them. The truth is that my complaint is that I went with my wife and my daughter and the soup was in bad condition, it was ajiaco....it was foaming...well the lady changed it for us but my daughter still didnt drink it anymore because she really He didnt like it...they didnt have the courtesy to ask why the soup wasnt consumed...because I think its best to be attentive to the customer who wants what he needs and even more so when he already knew that they had their sin... ...the truth is that I thought the service was very bad and in bad taste...I would not go back further nor would I recommend it.

Well my complaint is basically about the service, it was not the best, the girl forgot some things we asked for and the restaurant was not full, to say that it was busy. We are also waiters and we know how it works and being a waiter requires agility, speed and attention to detail, so that they leave you a good tip. However, we realized when they gave us the bill, that 18% of the tip was already included, something that did not seem appropriate or ethical to me, because we were only 2 people and the service was not the best. As I mentioned before, we are waiters and we always tip up to 30% if the waiter is very attentive, so it seems unfair to us that they include 18% for bad service and after the fact they ask you again if you want to leave more tip . As far as I know, one can only tip after 6 people, I understand the position, because there are many people who do not leave tips, but if they are going to include them, their service should be 10/10 and it is not. Advice, take out the food on a large tray and at the same time, as Mexican and American restaurants usually do and I didnt notice if they had them, but it is important to have a bartender to optimize time.

Me and my friend wanted some good authentic Colombian food(since I m from Panama) and there aren t too many options by where we live. We drove about 30 mins to get here but it s well worth the drive. I really liked my Mondongo soup, but our Pan de Bono was dry and almost burnt. We felt like we had to beg for service. The server will take a long time to go back to our table, and there were only two tables with customers, including us. I didnt think much of the added tip because it already happened in another Colombian restaurant. But I wouldnt have tipped 18%, not for poor service. We also took our dessert to go and it was a disappointment. The portion was tiny!

For the first time I ate half a Bandeja Paisa, terribly, the refried arepa, hard and greasy, the plantains greasy and tasting of old oil, and terrible soft chicharrón and old pork, the only thing that is saved is the Rice , the steak, the bland salad, and the avocado, you had to look for it because it was so small, and really expensive, I wont come again.. I had an enjoyable meal at this restaurant at 12:30 PM, 10/1, until the BILL arrived. I handed my card to the waitress who returned with the CC receipt to add tip without my itemized bill. When I question the man behind the bar why my bill was incorrect, he said the tip WAS included. Serious;y??? for 2 persons!! YOU did not mention it when you presented the check. I usually opt for this Colombian restaurant when I crave the cuisine, but after browsing other reviews, I ve discovered a few places I haven t yet explored. However, I won t be revisiting this particular one. I ve foto graphed comparing the bill with the itemized list. Isn t this a contradiction? I don t ever write reviews but the experience today was so frustrating that it merits this review. I issue here is that the servers add gratuity to the bill without mentioning it to you. The waitress had the audacity to charge me gratuity without a word of it and present me an unitemized ticket. When I realized I was being over charged and spoke to the team, the clear look of embarrassment flooded their faces. It wasn t until someone else was approached and provided us with an actual copy of the bill and refunded us for the full tip added. Keep note we had tipped already on top of the full bill before realizing their mistake. Without a doubt in my mind these people all knew and understood their intentions. I will never go back and advise for anyone else to do the same . I will not support scammers and this is what these people are.

The worst place to eat the food took a long time the food is average the truth is that the experience they charge you the percentage for the rivers and the services are fatal I will never go to this place again and I dont recommend it either

Having eaten in many Colombian restaurants in different states, this place did not meet my expectations. Plus it bothered me that they try to double tip one. Since they include 15% in the initial account and then put a pretip amount in the credit card box. Which doesnt seem right to me.

This place has changed a lot the food keeps getting smaller (Empanadas), the soup tastes old. The A/C is creating a slip and fall waiting to happen. I think the craziest part of this experience was the fact that they started including their tip in the bill, they very comfortably felt they provided 15% worth of tip of service... ridiculous !!!

I was there yesterday with my Colombian friend just to try some traditional Colombian food. I travel 45min to get there. Service was ok but definitely not what a other Colombian places offered. Atmosphere, ok to be honest this place look more like a bar/dance place that a restaurant and is super dark inside. Music was good. Now, the food: my was an empanada plate, empanadas look homemade but the smell of the filling was weird and have a particular flavor that Is not usual, the food the beans was warm and the rice more cold than warm. My friend plate was Chicharon Picao; this one was a little much better but still fairway for our expectations.

The restaurant.. by. You look good outside. And the service is not bad. The bad thing is the food. He doesnt know Colombia lacks love. And seasoning in addition to not worrying much about creating an atmosphere. Family rather feels like an adults only place lacks focus. To be able to sell what it says in the ad, it really represents me a lot as a Colombian.

Amazing experience! Brought me so much nostalgia The service was amazing. The restaurant was clean. The restrooms were clean. Very spacious location the food was really on point. New favorite spot in Dallas. Parking: Decent amount of parking Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but I think Saturday 9pm - 2am are not Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible.
