Its a very nice playarea with a splash pad near by. However, during the hot summers the playground is burning up no shade.

Weve enjoyed this new splashpad a lot...until we visited the creek this week. The city was clearly careless about the environmental ramifications of construction. The creekbed is several inches deep with concrete powder sludge. Its thick, smelly, non Newtownian vomit all over the bottom. You dont have to be an environmental expert to hear all the life around this park & know what a despicable thing we did intervening here. Gross City of Garland. Gross.

Great little paved walking trail into the woods, makes you feel miles way from the city. Really nice new connection to the Duck Creek Greenbelt.

They have added a new pedestrian and biking bridge across Duck Creek at Centerville as a part of making Duck Creek Trails run from Central Park all the way to I 30!

One Gazebo with grill and 6 tables with grill at each one. Its a nice park and they have Zumba and fitness class going on.

This is a nice park to visit with family as there is a swimming pool right next to it and it offers a small trail for walking, as well as the creek to explore. It has been kept up with as most of the tables are still in good condition and there was hardly any trash visible. The only thing I wish they would update, is the playground. That has been around for over 10 years, or since I was younger at least. While its still in decent condition, it would be nice to see something new for the kids to play in. The swings chains have an annoying creaking sound when swinging as well. Overall still a nice park.

I like this park because it is small. I go here when I really dont want to take the kids to the park, lol. It has a water fountain, picnic tables, basketball court. It has sidewalks for you to walk around. Also has a pool but have never used it so do not know much about it.
