Get the muffuletta! It may be the best in Galveston! Everything is handmade and very fresh. The bread is locally made and fantastic. There is a great wine selection, of course. Support local Galveston businesses!

This was such a fun find in Galveston, when I needed a comfy place to work but some delicious wine to help with that work! It s right in the heart of town in a gorgeous historic space, somehow both spacious and comfy. I did a rose wine flight and they had a perfect selection that featured Texas wines, with one from California. Jacqueline, one of the owners, was such a delight and made the experience really wonderful. Make sure you say hi to her! I also met David and was so impressed that he d found and sourced wines from Threshold Vineyards - one of my favorites from out in the middle of nowhere. Love stumbling upon treasures like these.

We met new friends down the street that we brought in with us and with us being locals they wanted to know the best of the best places to go! The ambiance of the Hendley Building, with its rich history as the oldest commercial structure in Galveston, adds to the charm of this wine bar. David, our server, was a standout. His extensive knowledge of the wines and their origins was impressive, and he provided insightful details on the nuances of each selection. The variety of Texas wines, including offerings from the renowned Chris Williams Vineyard and other celebrated local vineyards, is truly remarkable. The selection of domestic beers, seltzers, and sodas ensures there s something for everyone. The charcuterie board and deli sandwiches are a must-try and perfectly complement the wine flights. I highly recommend visiting Hendley Wine Co. for a delightful experience of fine Texas wines, great food, and outstanding service. A five-star experience all around!
