They didnt have much to do but it was nice after a long day in the sun. There was a code brown and we all had to evacuate the lazy river. The fireworks show was mediocre but sufficed for being unable to watch fireworks on the 4th in my town. I would recommend the rest of moody gardens but would not spend money specifically for this part.

As much as I wanted to say it s a great place I can t say that, it has a pretty picture but it s weird you can t bring your own food/snacks for the child like sorry but not every kid eats junk food and it s like they aren t giving you an option it s either junk or nothing. But what pissed me off is that they allow shoes in the lake I m sorry but that s absolutely disgusting. People wear those inside the bathroom step on piss, and all other kids of stuff and then they bring that in the water that is absolutely disgusting.

It was okay, but it was a bit hot this time of year. Not their fault. The food wasnt great. I paid a lot for a cheese burger. It was dried out, not sure if it wasnt made the day before, bun was hard and shriveled. My daughter had a hot dog, and it was the same issue. For much as you pay, you would think it would be a lot fresher.

With the number of West Nile Virus cases this season, you would think they would treat the facility. This was absolutely the worst experience ever and I have video and pictures to show the number of mosquito bites my family and I suffered. There were over a hundred bites between us all. We could not even enjoy ourselves. We missed the fireworks show for this reason. We paid before arrival and was able to walk in without even showing proof of payment/barcode. No armbands nothing! I asked one of the staff members where do we show our barcode and he looked clueless. The restrooms are horrible and I witnessed a toddler run, slip and fall I m pretty sure he hit his head by the sound of the cry. There was a staff member in the restroom just sitting there with her phone connected for a charge. She did absolutely nothing but walk to the mom and shake her head as if SHE was disappointed. The floors are extremely wet and slippery. As I type this let me back up to parking we were instructed to park way behind moody gardens when there were ample spaces available up front. We counted the number of empty spaces. So as we return to our car there was no light to light our path. It was horrible. We were smothered by mosquitos my kids were crying and I even had mosquitos in my mouth as I was speaking to them to keep them calm as we ran. We finally made it to our car and mosquitos swarmed into our car. We had to fight mosquitos in there as well. This was the absolute worse experience. My husband said it felt like a horror movie. I just want to say do not waste your time and money. Even staff were fighting off mosquitos. The facility should have been treated or a warning should have been in place. I plan on doing more but I am just too done with today. I m praying that we do not get sick.

The park is nice. Water features are good for the kiddos, and ok for adults. I was not a big fan of the lazy river due to the amount of water constantly being dumped on your head throughout the entire river. The beach area is lovely with beautiful views of the bay. Fireworks and the band on are great on Saturday evenings.

This place was a hoot! I cant even begin to describe how much fun it was! Youd be rolling along the lazy river on a huge donut inflatable and water would be gushing from everywhere. Youd be moving in a gentle tide under the equivalent of a bridge and children, even tots would be standing up top waiting to drop buckets of water bullseye style! Everyone was so friendly and I felt safe and zoned in my totally blissful space.

We went in the afternoon to the water park. We found it to be nice but were disappointed by the fact that basically it was just the lazy river, a wave pool, 2 water slides, a beach area and kiddie are. The pavement was so hot that you couldnt walk without something on your feet, but there was nowhere to place them when you entered the water. If you bring anything with you, you will also need a locker to keep it safe at extremely high cost. Last but not least, the park is supposed to be open until 4pm. We were told to leave at 15 minutes before closing which in my opinion is deceptive advertising. I think next time we will try one of the other water parks instead.

The park includes a pair of enclosed slides (4 feet and taller to use), a lazy river, a wave pool, a small splash pad for smaller kids, and a playground for bigger kids with 2 water slides. This is a great place for a family with children or someone just looking to relax, though not the best for adults looking for a thrilling water park. My kids loved it, and I had a great time bringing them here. Highly recommend showing up early, before the park gets too busy. We arrived about 30 minutes after opening and were able to use the wave pool and the slides a few times. Later in the day the wave pool got a bit packed.

One of the worst experiences to this day. We came in renting a bamboo cabana and one of the employees tried to downgrade us to a regular cabana stating it s the same thing. (Side not: the cabana is only rented for 4 hours or so. It is not for the whole day). Not worth the $400+)Continuous attitude from multiple employees, foul language, and horrible customer service. They should train employees and managers on respect and how to talk to customers. Multiple employees were rude to kids while parents were not with them where the kiddy slides were. The lady who took our order never put our order right and food was late. It was not full or busy at the water park. It is definitely not worth any money to come here, you re better off spending a couple of dollars more and going to Schlitterbahn. There was little to no rides. Don t let the pictures fool you. You can finish the whole park in less than an hour. Definitely do not recommend to come here.

Our entrance fee was waived because we were staying in the Moody Gardens Hotel, but I would not have paid much to get in this place. It was extremely overcrowded, although we were there on a holiday weekend. The lazy river was packed FULL, and there were NO tables or chairs available. You can t bring food or drinks in and you re forced to buy really overpriced drinks and awful food. The young employees were also rude, from what I saw. The place could be okay, but ownership and management needs to make some serious changes in my opinion.

Worst experience we have had in years coming to this place. We are annual pass holders for the second year, stayed in the hotel several times, and have been coming to moody gardens pyramid numerous times for the past 12 years. And this is the worst experience ever. We arrived at the palm beach and our bags have been checked to tell us that we are not allowed to bring apple and carrot sticks. I told them my kid needs to have fruit or vegetables with every meal, and asked if I can at least to keep in the locker to eat on the way out, and yet they refused me. I understand we are not allowed to bring a meal, but an apple - that I do not understand. And come to find out that when we went to order food, everything we asked for, they didn t have - fruit salad, no don t have that, salad, no we don t have any salads, cheese pizza, nope sorry, Gatorade, nope don t have either! On the way out, as we were returning the key to the locker and asked for our deposit back, we have been informed that you have to give them the receipt too, I explained that no one informed us when we rented the locker. The lady at the stand said - don t care, there are several signs everywhere . Wow, what a service! And what s scam - try keeping a receipt form getting wet in the water park. Everyone was so rude at every interaction, no one smiles and they talk back! Incredibly disrespectful place and disappointing experience. And the cherry on top - there were excrements floating in the wave pool. Not coming back.

The place seems really focused on kids, but they have do have overpriced drinks and food since they dont allow outside beverages and snacks. There are also water slides that looked like if was only for kids (i didnt see adults using it, at least), and a zip line that had multiple people getting stuck half way through. Great little water park. We love the lazy river. There is also a wave pool, a couple slides and kids splash pad with a couple of slides. Not as crowded as the larger water parks. Reasonably priced

Great for smaller and less adventurous children. Or parents who don t want spend a ton of money and don t want to be walking miles around a huge waterpark. We could spend all day in the wave pool and lazy river.

Cool place for kids. Took my kids during the week as I imagined the weekend would be packed. They should have other alternatives for cashless policy. Maybe have a card system where people can load cash to it and be able to buy from concession stand and rent lockers. The locker prices I thought were pretty high and the whole return receipt with key to get some money back from locker rental rule is just odd. Meh...then again its in a touristy area so I get the prices are all jacked up. Oh yes, the random lumps of hair washing up in the wave pool were gross.

This was a great time. My daughter was too short for the water slides and at 6 years old they should have had slides for her. However she didnt even care because the wave pool was great. We rented a cabana which seemed overpriced. It was supposed to come with a level of service that wasnt provided although they tried. The website wouldnt let us order anything so I had to go up and try to order. They made me go sit in my cabana and wait for the waitress. Kind of pointless at that point. All in all though we had a great time.

We loved it there! A huge lazy river, a nice splash pad for smaller kids to enjoy, as well as two small tube slides. Theres a wave pool with two different kind of waves that come every 5 minutes. Food are a bit pricey, but such a nice place. All blue umbrellas are first come, first serve- free to public. White umbrellas are rentals. I think $400 for 4 hours or something like that. Theres nice restrooms with showers and changing stalls. They do offer variety of sizes for lockers for a small fee, and a little bit of money back afterwards. Go early as it opens would be the best time if you want to avoid the crowds for about an hour. We would definitely be back!!!
