Despite taking my money, they demonstrated no expertise in long term insurance claims. They never called me, so I had to chase them. When I was denied again, they never even contacted me again. Their advice and attention was very superficial. I would gi9ve them zero stars if that was an option!

have never had to have an attorney before, but was very upset after the long-term disability insurance I paid the max on every year just in case of exactly what happened with my health, denied me. Marc Whitehead s office has worked tirelessly for 4 years so far with me. There is no way I could have gotten anywhere on my own with the long-term disability company, which is a shame, and I feel for anybody who needs it. Melissa High and Kyle Rich, among others, have been particularly helpful along the way and I can t speak more highly about them. They ve helped me through a very challenging time.

I was very lost with my appeal for my long term disability and did not know where to start! Time was not on my side and I had no idea where to start the appeal. I found Marc Whitehead and Associates online and it was the BEST experience EVER! They were amazing from the first phone call when I spoke with Monique Muras the Legal Intake Specialist. She was very knowledgeable and explained the process and I felt a sense of relief that someone understood what my issues were! Monique was amazing and made sure that I felt comfortable with the process. Before I knew it Imari Perkins was on the phone with me and made sure I understood everyones role of the legal team that was assisting with my case. I was truly grateful that there were so many experts assisting with my case. Imari made sure all my questions were answered and again calmed my worries. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Melissa High who was my first point of contact and she was the one responsible for communicating the status of my appeal as well as answering any questions. The entire team that was assigned to my case was OUTSTANDING and because of them my LTD denial was overturned. The made sure that the insurance company understood all of my disabilities and always reached out to make sure the multiple surgeries I had were communicated back to the insurance company! This LAW FIRM IS OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend everyone who has a denial for their disability to reach out immediately to them and not wait as I did and had a huge time crunch! It s been 84 years Well that s how long I felt like it was. I m sure we all feel this way. I was at my lowest point in my life. Literally wanting to give up on all aspects. Feeling hopeless and thinking about my life and how useless it has been, because of how sick I ve become. I was trying to claim disability many times over the years, but failed. I couldn t survive and then would have to go back to work. Work that wasn t my career. I would have to constantly call out due to being sick, lose pay and barely make rent and at times ask for help from family to get by. I couldn t do it another day and my family and friends could see it. That s when I had to make the final choice in applying for disability once again and even though it wasn t easy and I had to live off of credit cards, family, and the state, I filed and guess what I got denied. Then I said, I m going to have to get a lawyer. I researched and found Marc Whitehead and Associates. I m truly thankful they took on my case. They looked through my medical records and knew that everything that I was saying was not only true but they didn t understand why I was denied so many times. They knew everything that they were reading I would have a good chance at winning my case. It s not an easy process and it s hard, darn right brutal at times. The only thing that got me through this brutal period was the incredible staff which included Anthony Vessel my (Attorney), Chris Stevenson (Paralegal), Kimberly Warren (Department Coordinator), John Rios (Medical Records), Lupe Acevedo (Medical Records), and Dee Cowap (Intake), and Bailey Ingram (Paralegal). My communication with the law firm most of the time was through e-mail, which I favored because it was easier for me. My lawyer briefed me a few times before the actual court hearing and the morning of by phone. This whole process from beginning to end was a long journey, but a journey well worth it, because of my lawyer and the whole entire staff that worked so diligently hard. I couldn t have done it without any one of them. I know this review is long overdue. I have been super sick and well honestly being on disability is a challenge. Thank you again! Cheré Dickson

After a long struggle with workman Comp. I was referred to Marc Whitehead & Associates for working on short term disability while recovering after a L5-S1 fusion. While I was going thru recovery in the hospital, I noticed the pain in my lower back had worsen, and I had no feelings down my right leg. The Doctor ensures me that the pain would pass and the feelings to my right leg would come back. It s been over 2 years since the surgery and the pain is still there and the feeling has not come back to my right leg. Marc Whitehead & Associates team has been with me thru every step of the way and answered all of the questions concerns I had that the doctors should have done from the beginning. Workman comp, shut off benefits, and Marc Whitehead and team, went to work ensuring short/long term benefits were reestablished. I went to a new doctor to get a second opinion. Doctor found out thru another MRI and nerve conduction study, that there is still never damage from my lower back to my right leg. The doctor believes what happen, thru the second MRI there are nerves that have been pinch in the first surgery and fused together causing serve pain to my lower back and no feeling to the right leg. I would have to go thru another surgery to correct the first surgery, but there are no guarantees the nerves will regenerate. I had Marc Whitehead & Associates team file for Social Security Disability while I attempt to have Workman Comp pay for the second surgery and recovery. They worked on my case for almost 2 years with answering all question and kept me updated on all changes and hearings for my Social Security Disability while fighting to keep my long-term Disability thru my employer insurance. I would have been a statistic to the work industry if it would have not been for Marc Whitehead & Associates. Hats off to Marc Whitehead & Associate, I would recommend them to family and friends because of the amount of respect I received while being with them and the kind atmosphere shown to me has been top notch.

These are the people who you need to call to for your disability, they are efficient and professionals. They call you back fast, if you have any questions. I had another firm that was not getting it done, DO NOT DO THIS, but I called Marc Whitehead and they took over and got it done, knowing, that would be a dispute on their fee, they still acted a pure professional. If you have a disability claim in process DO NOT DO WHAT I DID, and change without a full release of your current council, wait until your denial, make sure everybody knows what you are doing, and do not try this on your own. These people was the light at the end of the tunnel, as I went though the process, I highly recommend the people that work on my claim and this law firm. This is a great law firm. I needed assistance with trying to obtain my disability. After being denied two times by social security, I decided to go to Marc Whitehead Associates Attorney at Law LLP. I must day this process took o almost two years. Mr. Chris Stevenson did wonders for me. He kept me in the loop with everything. If I emailed him questions, he usually follows up with two hours. I was so blessed to have Chris Stevenson as my social security disability paralegal. I honestly don t know how he dies it, but this gentleman knows his stuff. I called them for a ssi case and told them i had a hernia mesh as well with all my medical and they took 6 days for them to tell me that they could not help me with my ssi case because they were only taking ssi cases for houston tx but they could help me with my mesh case wich i never called them for that so i would not recomend them.
