I ordered the shrimp and fish. The shrimp was sour and disgusting. Scary disgusting. I spit it out. The fish was bland. Everything was nasty .. spent 100$ for nothing. Don t eat there. I did bring the nasty shrimp to the attention of your staff!!!!!! No response!! Except I m sorry!

Dont let the location make you 2nd guess your decision to go in. Its a charming place with the friendliest people in Galveston! Food is delicious..... prices are fabulous for the serving sizes. CAUTION: The sides are definitely sized to share! Youll probably go home with air fryer left overs! (Onion Strings: YES please). Crab Cake Appetizer: Definitely a yes (psst: The plate sauce is a carrot puree) Ahi Tuna Mango Avocado Stack..... OMGoodness yes! The fried shrimp and fish was perfect! This place is a favorite for locals, so they are comfortable with the service model of going to the counter to place their order. This was our 1st time (not sure how we missed it) and it was a little awkward to get started, BUT the bonus with this service style is the SERVICE. They all share the tips, so EVERYONE is happy to help you out! (No one thinks: thats not my table). We interacted with 4 team members total and everyone was extremely efficient and friendly. Someone is always available to run your food, bus your table and answer your questions. Super fun place, with great food, full bar service, and an excellent friendly staff. 2 adults: we got 2 appetizers (couldnt just pick ONE ) + 2 BEERS + 2 Cocktails + 2 Dinner Entrees + 3 Sides was $109.33 (before tip), and we have enough leftovers for another complete meal! Thats not even possible anywhere else in Galveston! Go ahead..... park the car and just go on in!

Expectations! Expectations! We were surprised to find this is a counter-order restaurant, and you order after being seated, a bit confusing. The food came out quickly, and we enjoyed our dinner. The grilled Mahi was great, though the grilled Red Snapper was over cooked, it did need the knife. The sides are enough for sharing, nicely. The dining room was extremely clean, highly rare these days. Servers were attentive and hustling! Overall we enjoyed our dinner

From oklahoma came to Texas to come swimming in Galveston and the service quite frankly was very poor once sitting down we had to get up to order our food and drinks ourselves very disappointing. The food wasnt horrible a bit over doing it with the garnish per plate and nearly 30 dollars a plate for stale and bland food.

This is a counter style restaurant where you order/pay and then take a seat and they bring your food to the table. I have visited a couple of times now and can confidently say that both visits I had amazing food and the service is great with a friendly staff. I have tried the shrimp poboy and it was on the New Orleans style bread that s soft and crispy at the same time and very much enjoyed it. The gyros are stuffed with perfectly seasonsed beef and lamb along with fresh veggies and a side of their house made tzatziki sauce, it s my favorite gyro ive had. If you see that they are serving their lobster bisque you need to try it, the BEST. I m ready to go back and highly recommend them.

Our group of 6 met here for lunch. We were welcomed in and a table was arranged for us to sit together. We placed our orders at the counter. Our food (burgers, oyster poboy, chicken fried steak dinner, turkey avocado grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and onion strings) was delivered to us quickly. All of us agreed our food was delicious and was presented nicely. Portions were large. Very nice decor and clean, comfortable atmosphere. Our service and waitress was outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant, and will dine here again when in Galveston.

This place is absolutely amazing. They probably have one of the best fish and chips Ive ever eaten, and you get a massive portion for the cost. It even reheated exceptionally well. The fish was so crispy, and the chips were real slices of potatoes. All three sauces it came with were really good, and the staff was very nice and personable. Some of the friendliest people Ive met in a restaurant. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back every time Im in Galveston.

We went with a party of 11 for dinner tonight. We got a table to seat us all and then up to the counter and placed our orders (pizza, gumbo, lobster, veggies, shrimp, tacos and more). Everything was fresh, cooked properly and simply delicious! The staff brought our food and gave us such great service! What a joy. Our dining experience was excellent! This place is so good I had to come back for lunch and dinner! The pecan crusted flounder melted in my mouth and was so flavorful. The shrimp was amazing! Even the tex mex platter I had for lunch was delicious. The onion strings were amazing too! The staff was very attentive, check on us as needed, even remembered us from the day before. Pricey, especially for self scervice. Snapper plate seemed decently priced until I asked and turns out it was just the fish fillet, not even rice or vegetables included. Tacos were the only thing good here, but nothing special I couldnt get anywhere else. The seafood gumbo was bland and had like 3 shrimp. Macaroni tasted rancid, waiter chuckled when I mentioned this. Do not order hummus. It is $9. 6 bites of bread, 2 cucumber slices. My child asked for a few more slices of cucumber & the server said it would be additional. This place was indeed amazing. Everyone seem to really enjoy their food but I got the roasted sesame salmon and it was amazing the vegetables and rice that came with it was cooked just right. But my favorite thing that just tied the whole meal together was the sauce. I could not have asked for a better experience. The service was amazing they are very friendly. We go to Galveston frequently and the Food here is very very good. And the portions generous and price cant be beat compared to Fishermans Wharf and Willie Gs. Need to try this place if you are on the Strand you wont be disappointed.

Great service. Food was portioned well. Taste was good. The system they have is a bit confusing of youre there for the first time but the waiters tell you what to do. They give you a table and offer you drinks, then you get to a register to order your food and its delivered to your table. I found this a bit informalfor the price of the food which is usually seen more in a totally seat down service place. One thing I noticed is that as waiters they had a great way of working together. They all ran across the room serving tables regardless of who took the initial order. Food came out quickly and everyone was happy. We were a party of 7

Food was great with large portions and friendly staff! Know before you go: you have to put in your order at the counter, so if you are looking to be waited on where a server takes your order at the table, this would not be the place, but the staff is super friendly! We had a group and had fried fish, shrimp, burgers, and pizza, and everything was good.

The food was wonderful, and tasted amazing. There wasnt a wait and we were seated quickly, our waiter tended to our needs and helped whenever we needed. The atmosphere was calm and friendly, definitely recommend.

We just had lunch at this restaurant. Not at all impressed. The special we both had was quite mediocre. The lobster bisque had no flavor and very little lobster. It also was served in an extremely hot bowl, but the actual soup was just Luke warm. I made the mistake of accidentally touching the said bowl with my forearm and was burned by it. The crab cake sandwich was bland and tasteless. Servers are clueless. What the hell ? Parking: Okay but it was early.

Based on the outside & neighborhood I wasn t sure what to expect. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and fresh. (Crawfish tails, chicken pita, shrimp tacos, chicken strips, fried shrimp) The entire restaurant was so clean and everyone we spoke to was so helpful and friendly. My kids finished their meals (rarely happens) and we had plenty of space to spread out. We will definitely be back often. So glad to find this place!

It was our first time here and the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered the fried fish, which was two large pieces of crispy breaded white fish, the shrimp poboy, which had 8 juicy and plump shrimp on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes with an excellent remoulade and the club sandwich which had smoked turkey and gyro meat, which seemed like an unusual combination, but paired together in a way described by my daughter as fire! We ordered fries and cole slaw for sides. The sides are ordered separately, but they are large portions so you can share. There were other items on the menu that Id like to try, so this place will be on the repeat list. The owner and staff obviously take great pride in this restaurant and it shows in their product.

Absolutely the best food we have ever had in Galveston. Gumbo, pasta, and steaks were great. Probably one of the top 5 steaks I ve had around the US. Stayed for dessert and it did not disappoint.

Even though you order at the counter, we were there early & our server was kind enough to take all our orders at our table. Everything was excellent, pecan crusted flounder & blackened redfish. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend! Love the a la carte options. Great value.

We came for dinner while staying in Galveston the night before our cruise. Dinner was very very good. I had the vegetable platter which was in huge abundance! I also tried the fish jicama tacos which was very tasty as well. Loved the laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.
