We ordered coffee and purchased beans. One person in our party brought their own drink. We were informed *after* we paid that we couldn t stay because of the drink. I m not interested in giving business to a place I m not allowed to stay in.

I ordered from their seasonal menu a brow sugar latte. The heat in Texas has me wanting frozen cold coffee and that why I chose this over my traditional macchiato - tho they didn t have this on the menu - this really was just a brown sugar cup of iced milk. Too bad I can t speak on the espresso as it smells like brown sugar and tastes like milk. Sadly this was a flop for me.

Perhaps it was because I wasnt a young college student that my server seemed almost bothered by my very presence. However Id rather believe thats just his layed back service style, which is forgivable at his age. The luke warm coffee that he served to me though, well this is simply an abomination unto man, and cant be forgiven. ;-) Cool place though.

Anytime someone comes in from out of town, this is the place I take them. Aside from being one of our regular hangouts on any given day. The master barista, the incredible things that are in the fridge for purchase, the baked goods in the atmosphere. It makes for an incredible stop to relax and enjoy a corner of our lovely Galveston. Beautiful outside patio and yard. We sat in the sun one day. Such comfortable areas with the chairs and tables to enjoy. If you don t see it on the menu, just let them know what you love and they ll create it for you. This place is the best.

Coffee was okay. Kind of had an odd flavor, but the shop was really nice. They have a really nice roaster so I think they roast their own beans, but Im not sure why theyre going for the flavor profile of their drip coffee. Very weird fruity flavor, I prefer the dark, chocolatey, nutty, earthy and bitter coffee.

Found this place today, overall, liked it a lot. Employee was great answered questions, was super helpful and got us our drinks quite quick. We got a honey cold brew, caramel latte, and a Mocha cold brew. They were all great with an interesting aftertaste. Think its just their signature roast that gives it that, but it wasnt bad at all. Great for a hot day when you need some caffeine. Vibe was great, several people hanging out on laptops, chatting amongst groups, and just getting along. Music wasnt too loud, which I appreciate, and the outside seating is on point. There are little one person hammock seat things! ( I have no idea what theyre called, lol) Sorry, there are no pictures cause we were on the move, but definitely give it a shot. Think its worth it. Parking: Street parking was fine. Not too too busy around there so it wasnt too bad at all. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp so its good to go

Kid-friendliness: My son was with me and ordered his own cookie. The person working was super friendly and patient with my VERY obnoxious and chatty 11-year old. Folks, if you want GOOD coffee, please dont spend your money at Starbucks. Come here. I dont hate Starbucks at all, but when youre in a place like Galveston that has their own local coffee houses, support them. I had a cold brew here that was to die for. It also has comfortable outdoor seating. Highly recommend this place.

Some of the best coffee Costsal Texas has to offer. Staff was super knowledgeable and attentive, without a trace of pretentiousness. A wide range of offerings that was impressive to say the least. The Coffee cube for 10 was perfection. If youre in the area go immediately, if not 100% worth the drive. Great job yall! Well be back for sure.

Very nice atmosphere which was clean and inviting. To my surprise, the coffee was better than most other places on the island. I will definitely be returning to try the Jonny Cash and The Nightwalker cold brews. Added bonus is that you dont have to pay for street parking unlike when you go to MOD, which adds additional costs to your coffee etc. Highly recommended.

Im a student on the island and this is my go-to coffee shop. In my opinion they have the highest quality coffee on the island. Very good vibes and the parking is free unlike other coffee shops downtown. Ive been going here since they opened and they only keep improving!

They roast their own beans, so its a pity that they werent serving a single-origin espresso when I visited. Their blend, a medium roast, is pretty decent, though. Their espresso machine is a beautiful La Marzocco KB90.

Favorite study spot on the island. Been coming here since the first week they opened. Coffee is good but I mostly come for the study atmosphere. Can get busy at times, especially Sunday around the time of the Farmers Market across the street. Doesnt bother me but you just have to be willing to sit at the taller tables beside a stranger or outside on a table (one even has an outlet!). Lots of outlets along the wall. Comparatively, best wifi out of all the coffee shops, probably smallest overall space, good coffee on par with the others, and slightly quieter. Also, convenience of location with free parking directly next to the cafe makes Red Light my favorite one-- and I come here multiple times a week for hours at a time.
