My buddy told me about this brewery. We made one of our stops on a brewery crawl. Excellent staff. Owned by husband, Richard and wife, Tracy. Richard brews some tasty beer. It will be on my stop list when I go to Galveston from now on.

We visited Naked Iguana and I highly recommend making it a stop every time you visit the Strand. The owners are locals and were super fun to visit with. The beers were excellent and the space is very nice. They are also very dog friendly. We are super happy to have another great brewery on the island and on the south east side of Houston.

Had a wonderful experience. Alex, at the bar, is so friendly, and Richard, the owner, knows how to make a beer. Outstanding beers throughout the menu. Must try! Went back a second time and ordered food from across the street from Coastal Grill. You can have a great meal and excellent beer. Must try combo!

Great beer and super friendly service!!! During Hurricane Beryl recovery, they welcomed everyone to enjoy their A/C, cold water, and electricity for charging everything with no purchase required. They saw I didnt have a phone charger and brought me their personal one. There is also a restaurant across the street that will deliver to your seat. Great place!!! Thank you for the hospitality!!!

Naked Iguana is Cheers set in a brewery in Galveston. There s a reason why this brewery has a 4.9 rating. Beer is excellent (double IPAs and triple Belgians alike) but the brewmasters and staff take it a step further. Super friendly and will make you feel at home as you sip some of Texas s finest craft beer

Great beers and fun space. My wife had a cherry-lime sour. I had the Loch Ness Scottish Ale, which was delicious! I typically like amber-style beers (like Oktoberfest, etc.) and this one fit the bill perfectly.

Nice comfy spot right by the water. Staff is very friendly, and even had free popcorn. Some games too like shuffleboard! They brew beer and seltzers with a pretty tropical twist, def not typical variety. I liked the flight we tried, easy recommend if youre on the island!

Im a fan of IPAs. I had a flight of 4, which were all distinct in flavor. My favorite was the bearded hippie. I was comfortable and I didnt want to move for supper. It was a pleasant surprise to be offered the menu from Costal Grill. I enjoyed smoked scallops on a bed of fresh spinach with a lemon sauce. Fabulous! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the product. I will return for a growler before leaving the island.

Terrific selection of many craft beer styles. Dog-friendly, bike-friendly, and wonderful taproom set-up/aesthetic. I have enjoyed craft beer for about 30 years and rate NIB beers among the best. However, the people there are just as impressive. Friendly, welcoming, cheerful, and a remarkable vibe. I meet new friends every time I visit. Also a good place to watch sports on TVs scattered around the taproom. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Need a bite to eat? The excellent Coastal Grill takes your phone order then quickly walks it over to you in the taproom. Prost!

We travel full time in an RV and we enjoy going to different breweries in towns along our route. Today we chose Naked Iguana, a less-than-three-month-old brewery downtown Galveston. Gosh, I wish this place was here when I lived in Galveston!. What a fantastic brewery. The folks that own and run the place are about as nice and as knowledgeable as can be. Their beers are fantastic, and what a great crowd. I got a flight first to determine my favorite and quickly decided upon the IPA. A perfect blend of hoppiness and a great finish.

Went here tonight for this first time. This place is amazing! Great beer. But it does deeper. Unexpectdly cool brewery with friendly, down-to-earth folks. Tastefully decorated with an artistic, yet very cozy vibe. They allow sample tastes. And the owner guarantees his products so that if you dont like it, he said hell drink it and get you either something else or a refund. I love that kind of conviction! I highly recommend the Bearded Hipster Hazy IPA. Plus the beautiful restrooms here will blow your mind!

We visit Galveston several times a year. The Galveston Island Brewery recommend The Naked Iguana to us. We felt really welcomed when we walked in. Great , friendly owners. We met so many friendly patrons as well. It felt like a big friendly family. We had so much fun, we went back several times while we were there. We met so many friendly people and had so much fun visiting with the owners and the patrons every time we went it. This is an awesome brewery with fantastic beer !! This will be your new favorite hangout! Great craft beers brewed in house and the most chill place to relax. They also have seltzers and wine if beer is not your adult beverage of choice. Hungry?? Costal Grills menu is in the house! They will deliver right to your table! And while you wait... Play checker, backgammon, shuffle board, darts or other old school games you loved growing up! When nature calls, and it will... the restrooms are full of Tips of Wisdom! Be sure to read the signs! They will set you straight! If you dont want to have a good time, this is not the place for you.
