I live in this community and it can be very very beautiful however, the community is ran by a HOA board and community manager that is very very corrupt. Due to this the community is very unpleasent to live or stay in due to the little amount of regulation and up keep. The pool uses a porta potty yet charges double its amount of dues to homeowners then it did in the past year. The community has a majority of short term rentals that have no regulations so many times u can not even drive down the road because people just park in the middle of the road because there is no overflow parking anywhere and extremely narrow roads. If it rains even the slightest most properties are flooded around and underneath due to the community drainage issues that the HOA refuses to address. Many owners have had items stolen and destroyed because people just walk right onto your property under your house if it looks like no one is home and use the downstairs showers and anything you leave under your house if you do not have a fence or gate or a way to stop entrance to your entire property. Be careful when wondering the neighborhood as well because many people do not leash their animals and they will just run at you or wonder the neighborhood and pee and poop everywhere. Units have squatters in them now because there is little security and people watching when homes are left vacant so they can break in. I highly warn anyone looking to live or purchase to not waste your time on this community because your investment will be destroyed.

Came when the tide was pretty great! Low tides you can find some good shells on this beach but mostly broken crab shells and barnacles. If you go in the early mornings, you can see the small clams digging into the sand. Just be careful of the jellyfish that wash up on shore, and if you go farther out into the water, you can come across hermit crabs.

Nice and quiet beach. Very relaxing and not really busy. Was here since 8:30am and barely leaving at 10am. No shade so just bring your own umbrella or tent to avoid getting burnt! Also, don t park on the beach. Police came and clarified we should park where the posts are and not on the actual beach.

Normal west end beach. Enjoyed stay g in the area, weve kept to the east end the past few years so this was a nice change of pace. Definitely need to bring everything you need, much fewer options than Bolivar or Freeport.

Vacationed at honey hole via airbnb and it was really kept up to date. Everything was thoughtful in the rental place. Beach was 5 min walk away access. Beach was clean but water was not clean as expected when compared to Florida keys. All in all nice experience and friendly environment.

It is a very beautiful beach, but the sea is very shallow. I did not see anyone swimming. Everyone was either playing American football or sitting in the water with sun loungers and chatting. However, the coolness of the sea was very nice.

The best portion of both islands, when it comes to the canals. Jamaica beach is old and narrow. Sea Isle is almost the same. But Terramar Beach - wide streets, manicured yards, nice neighbors - absolutely lovely weekend getaway option.

Beautiful sand, water was clean, and it was crowded. I walked out to the second sand bar and cought fish. My buddy and his family were there, and they had a blast. The beach is small, there are no amenities.

The beach was okay, however it was a MESS. Trash was everywhere and that took away from the whole experience tbh. Parking was limited, as was the space on the beach. Overall was a decent experience so long as you can overlook these things youll have a great time.

There were 9 of us at a wonderful place called the Purple Palace found on VRBO. House was well appointed and comfortable. Beach was a short walk (less than 3 blocks). Only thing against the place was the stairs (houses in that area are on stilts).

It was AWESOME...loved the area. It was about 20 min drive because of speed limit from downtown, but their was a market/store/gas station down the road that was perfect and was the same prices as town. They even had souvenirs. They had really good fresh gulf shrimp too. It was perfect. Beach area there was nice as well.
