Table is greasy and sticky. Almost spilled drinks twice trying to move things around. Staff seem inattentive and brushing off. Food is sub par. Rolls have rice flaking off and not keeping together. Very limited selection of rolls for lunch, with very little actual fish options. Probably not even worth it for Western audiences. Tempura breading isnt crispy at all and the shrimp tastes like soggy baking soda. Dont come here. There are much better lunch places around like kyoka. Cant imagine sticking around for dinner.

BEST sushi I ever had!! They make incredible food! I only have good things to say about Misu Sushi and their entire team. Im updating my review after more visits. Everything was OK. I wouldnt say the sushi was of the highest quality. Get the non sushi apps and dishes. I dont know what it is but the fish quality for the sashimi is just not good. Everytime its got a funky fish taste. Service has always been great. Restaurant is a bit on the smaller side so be aware. I really want to like this place because I think the owners are very nice, but fish quality is not good.

Excellent service and delicious food. Was not expecting the sushi boat, that was really fun! They make an excellent spider roll, and despite being a little spicy the Red Devil roll was surprisingly nuanced. On the one hand, the small venue is low key and family friendly, but this food feels fancier than the current venue. Still, good value for the cost if you want a relaxed date or low key special occasion with super tasty, world class sushi! Kid-friendliness: Seriously, kids will get a kick out of the giant sushi boat! And Tempura makes vegetables tasty for any palet.

Its a small place, reasonable prices and a clean environment. I came here with my family on account of my wife who adores sushi, and even though the food choice is not my cup of tea the waitress suggested a roll that I actually enjoyed. It was a good time and when Im in town will come to again Dietary restrictions: Avoid cream cheese options and almost everything seems to be dairy free, always double check but youll find dairy free options here Parking: Be mindful of the curbs, Ive watched people hit them coming in and turning right a bit too hard

Picked this pretty quickly looking for a sushi place near us at the time, and was really pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. The agedashi tofu was the best Ive had, and we had a seafood, avocado and mango appetizer that was really interesting and different. Usually I find something with mango in it too be too sweet but it was really well balanced. Will definitely go back and try some other stuff.

10/10!! We went for a birthday dinner and everything was exceptional. My husband is a sushi connoisseur, we ve experienced sushi in many high end restaurants around the country. Misu was incredible and we will definitely be back. They even gifted my husband a thermos and reusable cutlery set for his birthday. Do not sleep on this hidden gem . Parking: Parking was easy and right in front of the entrance. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp.

I was looking for Japanese cuisine for dinner tonight.. I knew there are not many authentic/semi-authentic Japanese options around here, so I was not expecting authentic Japanese owned restaurants. So with that said.. I ordered 4 Maki Rolls and a Chicken teriyaki with white rice and a salad to go. The moment I got home and open the bag, I saw these soy sauce packets (see photo) right then I knew this is not a good sign, because soy sauce for Japanese sushi (typically Kikoman brand) is not the same as the soy sauce packets you get with fried rice at the typical Chinese takeout restaurant. Then realizing the rice used to make the rolls are not even sushi rice, its just white rice... (sushi rice has vinegar in it.. ) very disappointed.. The only thing I can say about the entire meal is... it was edible and not worth the money. This meal was $50 total.

I am on a special diet very hard to follow for most restaurants-no oil no fat no add salt vegan. They not only follow it but the food is absolutely delicious as well as beautifully presented. Just moved and this is the first sushi place that I tried. All of the sushi rolls seemed appetizing and it was hard to narrow it down! We settled on the Spicy Ninja (the best one we ordered but still just ok), Sunflower (no flavor and the sauce on top was so watery), and Crazy Tuna (no flavor again). The ingredients seemed decently fresh but all the rolls lacked any flavor or spice.

Almost the worst Poke Bowl I have ever had. It was THE SMALLEST bowl, 4 x 4 inch and it was $22 with Crab Rangoons! Maybe a tablespoon of Seaweed salad, 60 % rice, 1/4 avocado, and tuna. I have ordered this while dining in and it is MUCH better. This was a silly poor amount of food and lousy presentation. Guys you need to learn how to make a beautiful Poke Bowl!!!!!

Great little family owned Sushi joint with a great selection of sushi and sashimi, plus other Asian faire. Highly recommend the Shaggy Roll, we also loved the classics such as the Philadelphia Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. Parking: Older parking lot, but there are plenty of spaces for the businesses there. Wheelchair accessibility: There are only two handicapped spots available, and the access ramp is a bit steep with some weird turns. It could be difficult for a single person in a wheelchair.

This was our first time here, and we loved it! Whereas the exterior is deceiving, we ventured inside and were very pleased with the atmosphere, the attentive service, and the incredibly vast menu. Ate here for the third time. The food is absolutely fantastic. Outstanding sushi, appetizers and soup. I was only surprised that we were the only people in the whole building. Hope they dont go out of business. I would only suggest that they change the terrible music to play in the background. Otherwise itd be five star for atmosphere. Nice selection. Prompt service. I especially liked the miso soup -very good flavor. Good variety of foods to handle the various heat scales tolerated by the 3 of us: no heat to spicy yet allowing the flavors to come through. Vegetarian options: - thats the nature of the menu. I was initially excited to see so many 5 star reviews. But the quality was very disappointing. This place would not even be 1 star in large metropolitan areas. The quality is very poor even for Americanized sushi. The soup was bland, and definitely not made from bonito. Unagi roll hardly had any eel in it (see photo). The sushi rice was undercooked and had no vinegar in it. As a fair warning, do not trust high reviews of ethnic food in small American towns. The locals are not exposed to high quality sushi to give fair reviews.

Unfortunately they do not modify orders well, they seemed to get annoyed at least the older man behind the counter seemed that way. I have food allergies, specifically soy and sesame seed and I told them that. When I got my rolls I trusted that it was not wrapped in soy paper and hoped it was seaweed paper. Well nope it had to be soy because I had an allergic skin reaction, within 1 hour.. I partly blame myself and should ve just thrown the sushi away. Lesson learned, I will not be going back. sushi is not bad, just poor service.

Ordered take out today. Sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was dry and seemed old. The fried rice was not very good either and the veggies that were in it just tasted completely off. Like they had been sitting in bad water or a plastic tray or something. Couldn t eat much of it at all and won t be back. The guy who gave me my order was nice and polite though. 1 star for quality of food and 1 star for the guy being polite when I picked up.

Georgetown s best sushi restaurant in my opinion. I ve gone for lunch and dinner time too. The bento boxes are good and the sushi has always been fresh and the fish cold. This unassuming strip mall in Georgetown has the best little sushi/bento place! The photos below are of the Dragon Ball Appetizer, Tiger Eye Roll and the Sea! Update! Alright yall, I have since updated my review. Looks like it was just a bumpy transition to the new owners, but they have since gotten their act together and my familiar Misu Sushi has returned! I was so confused how a restaurant we have loved for years could suddenly be so bad. New owners. Now I understand perfectly. Huge mark up in prices, they got rid of the lunch specials, rolls were miniscule, entrees were gross and we werent even offered plates! It was embarrassing. Goodbye Misu Sushi.

Great place to eat off of I-35 in Georgetown. I really enjoyed this place. I started by ordering sn egg roll. Nothing extraordinary about it, it seems commercially made. Next I went with the chicken fried rice. When they brought out the plate the chicken looked boiled. This is one that don t let your eyes judge for you. The fried rice was actually very good and did not need anything else. The star of the show was the Sakura roll. It had tempura shrimp, mango avocado spicy tuna and I think some other fishes. It was covered with like a savory sauce and some jalapeño slices. It was delicious, I enjoyed every bite of this roll. The taste was something like not too sweet but savory and not spicy for my taste. I added a little soy sauce and chili oil and every bite was perfect. The tempura was crunchy from the first bite to the last. I really enjoy this place. The outside typical strip mall facade and the inside is not decorated. I am glad they focused on their culinary skills rather than their decorating skills. Service was ok nothing to write home about.

I visited the place on any given night, I was not favorably disposed because of the simplicity of the place, although sometimes the simplest thing surprises you.... that was the case.... the most delicious suchis I have ever tried and believe me I have tried some how many. The service was also very simple but cordial and friendly and the hygiene was impeccable. I just didnt like that when I was trying such excellent and well-thought-out dishes, my stomach couldnt handle it anymore and I had to stop. For me: 5 stars.

The grilled eel was very good. However, it was sliced very thin. There were maybe six thin slices and too much rice. My friend got vegetables with beef and had to go on a hunting expedition to find any vegetables other than broccoli. There was quite a bit of beef which was very bland. We arent from here and we have no plans to return. The pictures online were beautiful. Since the .end has no photos I have no way to know if the sushi would look like what I saw online.

Dont waste your time or money by going here. The food is not freshly made - placed an order for takeaway over a phone call (6 mins drive away), they let me know it would be 20 mins, so when I arrived I expected to have to wait, but my food was just waiting at the counter, packaged up, ready to go. I ordered 3 main dishes and the restaurant had only been opened for no more than 15 mins. When opening the packaging, the food was steaming intensely and the chicken was soggy - major red flag that it was just heated in the microwave. Yuck!
