Drink sizes are very small 3 Oz Margarita waa $14! See photo. Beer is $8 for same size. Tiny portions for jumbo prices. Great service from our waiter but flies were all over the food & drinks which needs to be addressed. Hitting bays very dirty and also face west so you are looking straight into the sun for afternoon sessions. Great concept and the bbq food was good but too many flies!

They will have a problem for you standing up for your American Rights to be free. The staff was great. The patrons is who you want to avoid interaction with.

It was great till the manager Hailie asked us in a rude way that our kids were not welcome here anymore. They mere considered a nuisance for playing outside. We had a nice size party for a birthday and we ate and drank inside and spent a lot of money for a night that they were very slow. Then after eating we had the kids go outside while we finished up and paid the bill. Were only 2 tables outside kids never screamed was playing cars in the dirt and cooking with rocks! The servers were absolutely amazing but the manager could definitely use a lesson on people skills. She was completely rude on handling this.

My family and I went to have dinner and drinks. The service was terrible. We were sat on the patio and waited 30 minutes with no one coming to our table. I then went inside to order some drinks while we waited and the bartender was extremely snobby, she even brought a menu over to tell me I should have phrased my drink order differently as if I have their menu memorized. We waited another twenty minutes with still no one coming to take our food order so we finally just left since our kids were starving.

Also Omni needs to work on a few operational kinks like if they have conferences and conference people renting out food venues they need to make sure there are still options for the normal paying guests and enough staff to support conferences and normal guests

Went here today to grab a beer and some food with my brother while we enjoyed the nice weather and watch the Masters... We sat at our table outside for 20 minutes with no type of service other than the hostess that sat us. We had 3 different waitresses walk by with no acknowledgment and another one that was conversating with the table behind us for 15 minutes. Just go next door, I had a beer within 1 minute of walking in there.

I had been here before to have a couple of drinks with friends and the experience was always good and the service and the food were always up to par. Went in on Friday to try their golf bays and from the moment I was greeted (or lets say not) the experience was just bad, first the waitresses were very dismissive and did not provide good service at all, nobody explained how the top range system worked or bothered to tell me that the time (you pay by the hour) starts ticking from the moment you enter the bay, not from the moment you activate the games as it is at Topgolf locations, My friends arrived a few minutes late so when we logged in to play we noted that the time had already been counting for some time, in their defense they gave us a few minutes at the end but the attitude was bad and needless to say we will not be returning here, there are so many other good options at Fields that this place wont be missed

Visited early afternoon on a Saturday...moderately busy. Service was was fine, as was the food. Prices are reasonable.....basically, its yet another sports bar restaurant. We were at first seated inside, but the volume of sound was so punishing (ridiculously loud televisions, hard, reflective surfaces everywhere) that we moved outside. Alas, no escape from the volume there....blaring speakers abound. I essentially resorted to lip reading until I finally gave up and just counted the minutes until I could leave. It s only been a month or two, so willing to give benefit of the doubt- if this is going to make it, really have to step up the customer service: that starts with hosts who actually get up and meet guests, and then staff that take orders quickly, and then anticipate the next round of drinks, or refills simple stuff - this isn t Katy Trail Icehouse, it s currently a very weak comparable- the customer experience just isn t living up to the expectations of the clients up here- Brisket was fatty with over peppered bark, cheese on chips and Mac and cheese was a solid mass within 10 min on table- Okra was good, cornbread a little dry, burgers and tenders were fine- fries in the pigtail cut were pretty good - overall with drinks, tried a lot, spent about $150 on lunch and honestly, next time hopefully will be better- oh- get a sign at the entry door - all the design work and you enter what looks like the side door and end up right beside the bar- really, who planned this out- silly self-inflicted choices.

We hadnt been here before but since we live across the street we decided to stop by and check it out. Its dog friendly so we were able to bring our dog out on the patio. What a view! Sydney was our server and we were blown away by how amazing her service was. An absolute downpour started so she help get our food and get us a table inside until the rain stopped. She suggested the brisket and the okra as a small snack since we had eaten earlier. WOW...they were both outstanding. She was able to chat with my wife and I while the rain was pouring so it was nice to get to know her. This is a great spot with bays like TopGolf (6) and kind of rustic. This is our new go to spot since the quality of service, food, and scenic views were really nice. When its 110 out, they have the doors closed so you pick a nice spot inside, but then after 30 min open the doors so now the whole place is 110, sorry that hits on the stars I can give. The food was good, not great BBQ when you have Hutchins 15 min away but the atmosphere and drinks were great. Atmosphere would be more a fall vibe in my book, but nonetheless a good evening may do as well. The chicken was a bit dry, the lean brisket lacking in flavor and the moist brisket too moist in my opinion. The tin can nachos were a standout for me, but again just overall hot with the doors open.

Not sure where to start on this one. Good food, but the experience left a lot to be desired. Had to ask multiple people 3x for a high chair (and I could have gotten one myself, but employees kept telling me theyd bring it out for me). The waiter took our order and then took the order for the table next to us, and I guess he put their order in before ours because that table (a larger party, I should add) got their food first. This wouldnt be a problem, but we waited about 45 minutes from the time we ordered until the time we got our food -- with never an apology about the wait. Once we got our food, we noticed a side was missing, so we told two different employees (who came by our table to see how everything was) that we were missing a side of watermelon. Like the situation with the high chair, they told us theyd bring our side out...but unlike the high chair, they actually never did. However, we were charged for the side. The restaurant wasnt even that busy...this was like 9:30pm...Im so baffled at how terrible the service was and how long it took for our food to arrive.

Nestled within the PGA headquarters area in Frisco, Ice House is a unique and inviting establishment that draws inspiration from the airy barns of Texas. Its rustic ranch-style ambiance immediately catches the eye and sets the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. While Ice House offers beer, wine, and cocktails, along with typical pub fare, it falls slightly short in terms of culinary execution. Nevertheless, its six live hitting golf bays and fair pricing help compensate for these shortcomings, making it a decent choice for a casual outing. One of the highlights of Ice House is undoubtedly its ambiance. The venue captures the essence of Texas ranches with its open, airy design, and the barn-inspired decor creates a charming and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident throughout the space, and it offers a pleasant escape from the city bustle. Whether youre a golf enthusiast or simply appreciate the rustic charm, Ice House provides a cozy and welcoming environment. In terms of the menu, Ice House offers a range of pub food options to complement your drinks. However, the overall quality of the food is average at best. While the menu covers the basics and includes all the usual suspects, such as burgers, wings, and fries, the execution and flavor profiles often leave something to be desired. The dishes lack the finesse and creativity that would elevate them beyond typical pub fare. If youre seeking a culinary adventure, you might find yourself somewhat disappointed with the offerings at Ice House. Fortunately, Ice House partially redeems itself with its golf bays. The six live hitting bays provide a fantastic opportunity to practice your swing or engage in friendly competitions with friends and fellow patrons. This addition adds a unique element to the venue, appealing to both golf enthusiasts and those looking for some interactive entertainment during their visit. The inclusion of the golf bays helps differentiate Ice House from other ordinary pubs and makes it a more engaging and memorable experience overall. Price-wise, Ice House aligns well with the overall ambience it offers. Consider the area, the menu items are fairly priced, and the cost of utilizing the golf bays is fair. Considering the rustic charm and the additional entertainment value, Ice House strikes a reasonable balance between cost and experience. In conclusion, Ice House in Frisco stands out as a charming ranch-style venue, evoking the spirit of Texas barns with its cozy and inviting atmosphere. While the food may not exceed expectations, the addition of the live hitting golf bays adds a unique element of entertainment that sets it apart. With reasonable pricing, Ice House offers an enjoyable experience that is worth considering, particularly for those seeking a relaxed and rustic environment.

My first time at the Ice House at PGA Frisco for lunch today. The Ice House is a ranch inspired casual restaurant center on BBQ but also shareables, burgers and salads. I was having trouble as I wanted to try serval things but narrowed it down to the smoked ribs (includes cornbread & a relish of bread & butter pickles, onions and fresh jalapeños) with sides of spicy fried okra and campfire beans. The ribs looked good when they were brought out to me but with the first bite I was surprised how great the were! They were everything I like in a rib fall off the bone tender, moist and a nice rub (not too sweet/sticky). The fried okra was dusted with a spicy BBQ rub and were very addictive. The campfire beans were on point with a nice spicy/smoky flavor. I m really not a big fan of sweet cornbread but it was very subtle and I enjoyed it. The relish is not your average pickles onions and jalapeños I m sure what all is going on here but it s greatness. I mentioned how I really love the Frito pie along the way and out from the kitchen came a sample of their Frito pie (brisket chili, Fritos, cheese and jalapeños) and it was great as well. Enjoyed the a Wild Acre Sundance Wheat beer and cold iced tea. It was a very tasty and enjoyable lunch Pics at the Ice House and surrounding PGA Frisco grounds.

We had barbecue sandwiches and they just didnt have much meat which is such a stupid thing for a business to do. Id rather pay more but at least give me a sandwich full of meat!!! And it was quite expensive but maybe that was because of the tournament I dont know.

The chicken quesadilla was so good, corn bread was also delicious. Great views out on the patio. The inside is very small so count on sitting outdoors 80% of time when busy. Outdoor has few tables with umbrellas and a handful of trees, so during the summer months will be rough. But love the way it is set up for those playing golf, you can order drinks to go or hang there while waiting for your tee time.

Have busted the Omni pga many times and would give 5 stars to everything but the 6th floor pool. We decided to venture to the ice house for dinner after a long day. Gets two stars because the view is beautiful. Service is so slow and really terrible. The food is meh. I definitely probably won t bring our group back anytime soon. Which is unfortunate since we come to this are every week. I saw the bad reviews but decided to take a risk and one I should have trusted the reviews prior because they re pretty much spot on. Make sure you re not hungry and in no hurry. I am usually generous with my reviews but the wait and bad service became the joke of the table bc it was sooo bad.I would like to add there is one worker that wears a black shirt and pick up food and delivers food that was PHENOMENAL he was 100% more helpful than our server ever was. I didn t get his name but he deserves 5 stars!

Great atmosphere and ambiance. Love the quality of food, although not many options. Reason for 3 is this - I registered my name for a patio seat, waited 15 min as I was told and went back to check. The front desk girl didn t even check my name and says it s 20 min more. I waited for a bit and saw two white families who came after me were seated in the patio. When asked she apologized and seated us indoor. Ice house, I second some other review - do train your staff primarily to be unbiased and professional.

This is such a cool eating and golf experience in one! The pitmaster burger was gigantic, full of flavor and corn bread came with enough honey butter to make it go down smooth! Best meal I have had in months! We are coming back tonight renting a driving range bay and will bring our putter for the putting greens that sit outside the restaurant! If local to North Dallas, this place is a MUST SEE!

If you are not in a hurry is a good restaurant. Food was ok .. wish waiters were a bit more friendly and more attentive to their customers. Come on ICE HOUSE get it together .. here s my suggestions.. employee/manager training, a bit more faster service , be more communicative with the customer giving updates on status on drinks/food, don t go MIA for 20 minutes . Communication is KEY.. also use tablets to take orders not pen and paper ..

Went on a Thursday night, not super busy but we never recieved our drinks, our food was cold when it got to the table and we waited for 30 minutes for our waitress to come and pick up our card for the bill. Will give another shot when they get things figured out.

This new resort as a whole is amazing. Plethora of things to walk around and do and views at all angles of the property. As for the Icehouse, it s probably the most casual place on property. Really nice indoor area and outdoor seating area with picnic tables. Full bar inside and full food menu with bbq type food. I got the 1/2lb ribs and a side of chips. The ribs were dry but flavorful. Chips were solid, really well seasoned and a nice crunch to them. The cornbread on the side was also ok. Good draft beer selection and awesome views from inside and out. There s also 6 top golf style simulator bays connected to this place you can rent for $25/hour.

We visited the restaurant on Cinco De Mayo which was the Friday during opening week. We knew it was going to be busy so we were prepared to be patient for any slow service. What we weren t prepared for is for only our service to be slow. Tables would get seated after us and get their food and drinks earlier than us. They would even leave before we received our main courses. We ended up going to the bar ourselves because it was faster than waiting for them to bring us our drinks and by faster I mean 15 mins vs over an hour. The only thing we enjoyed hot was the appetizer we ordered. Our main food arrived incredibly late and cold. We were there for about 3 hours, to the point to where we had to speak to a manager. Oddly enough, I m giving the Ice House 4 stars because the way our situation was handled was incredibly professional and the manager was very apologetic about the situation. Also the hot appetizer that we did enjoy was very delicious. We told the manager we would come back to give them another shot. So if you came during opening week and maybe didn t have a good experience, go back and try again before letting it leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Service was terrible. Took an hour to even get our drinks. When I told the manager, he seemed aloof.

Ive been to a couple different bbq areas in the area and this is by far the best!! The service is amazing, the brisket was melt in your mouth delicious, the tin can nachos were a crowd pleaser with our kids! The menu has a good variety to please picky kids as well! Definitely our new bbq spot! The outside patio is amazing and has cornhole and the overall vibe is fantastic. Picture of brisket was taken after we dug in to it because I was too anxious to eat it and forgot to take a picture

Visited the Ice House on opening night. Fantastic spot with shaded outdoor seating area in the evening. Felt like we were back in ATX. Nice views and a relaxed atmosphere. Service was good, enjoyed a cold beer, fried okra and french fries. There are a handful of TopGolf booths for those inclined to take a few swings.
