We had a great experience tonight! Our server was so sweet and friendly, and our food came out piping hot and it was delicious! My husband even ordered an extra pound of crabs legs because he loved them so much! I haven t been to red lobster in years until now and I was really impressed! We look forward to coming again in the future!

Last nite . We took our daughter to celebrate her 35th birthday . Entering Red Lobster , the restaurant looked run down . Our table was not clean nor the surrounding floor . The tables looked bad and very used. No utensils on the table at all . When it came to ordering , no problem there , however the food presentation was very poor . I was very disappointed . My wife ordered a steak . I could have saved more money by purchasing one at our local Albertsons . No mention of a salad was offered to us . We also had to asked for our forks , knives , and maybe spoons . I ordered a margaritas drink , very weak , too much ice , very little flavor . Our waiter lacks the profession in the wait service . All the employees who worked there this past Saturday seemed very unhappy working there . The door greeter , a kind African American lady with pink highlites seemed very unhappy being there . When I addressed her good nite , I recieved a cold response in return . In my opinion , I do not recommend anyone dinning at this location . For the money I spent , the service was very poor , food presentation , very poor , restaurant atmosphere , very very poor . A very depressing place to dine . We where really looking forward to dine at Red Lobster and instead turned out to be very disappointing . In my opinion , this location should be shut down and I intend to inform the main corporate office and share our experience at this Red Lobster location . Wow, what happened to Red Lobster... Totally understaffed. Totally bad experience. Totally mismanaged. Was told they would bring my pickup order, made 30 minutes earlier; should have been ready. But instead they went to the bar and started making drinks...? Maybe 2-3 people on the floor standing around...not sure what they were doing. People were in line for a reservation, then leaving because no one would greet them. Others were sitting for an extended period waiting to be seated, with a near empty restaurant. Menu has been diminished with fewer choices. Afraid red lobster is in (further) decline. Update: Combination of mismanagement / private equity, the pandemic, and inflation are taking a toll. Darden sold this to private equity firm Golden Gate Capital in 2014. With interest sold to Thai Union Group in 2020. Now TUG has announced its looking to sell.

I really hate to see Red Lobster go but ownership obviously doesn t care about the upkeep anymore. We were sat in this corner booth that obviously has incomplete work. Also had to fight off a spider that also lives here as seen in the picture with the web. Had ordered the ultimate feast last night which is now $40. My lobster was horrible, undercooked and the meal was not up to par as I remembered due to prep and presentation. Very disappointing experience.

Great service, quick to be seated and served. Crab was made well enough, juicy from the steam option. Waitress Shelby went above and beyond to stop the salmon we ordered from coming out overdry and bland to get a fresh one made. Would recommend also getting the app to save on a budget with specials.

Food looks great but tastes terrible! Their menu item ULTIMATE LOBSTER turned out to be ULTIMATE DISASTER. Seafood smelling stale, fries so bland, salad itself is not fresh. Not a single item served is palatable except the cheddar biscuits that helped fill the tummy to escape from the awkward experience. Funny fact: As we entered Red Lobster premises, it smells great but realized later that the enchanting smell was from In & Out next door, not Red Lobster

I placed it to go order on Father s Day once I got there. I called in to make sure that they sent out catch up because the father that the meal was for do not eat the sauce that goes with shrimp I get I get my drink there s no ice in the drink, I get the food to the father no ketchup I called back to location The person that answered the phone was very rude. I asked to speak to a manager. He said you re speaking to a manager what is it again I said can I speak to a manager knowing a manager could not be this rude he stated his name was JJ he was the manager put me on hold and never came back, very unprofessional and this is not the first time I ve had to deal with unprofessional service with this location. Dined here the other night with my family to celebrate my birthday. Andrew did a phenomenal job serving us and the food was excellent! I saw a lot of new faces around the restaurant from when I was in the area more regularly several years ago, (and honestly several things around the restaurant seem more polished and well ordered than back then; looks like the new faces are doing a great job.) But with Oscar running the kitchen and Jordan managing, I know the Frisco Red Lobster can always be counted on to deliver great atmosphere, excellent service, and an outstanding celebratory group meal.

I have been coming to this place for the last three years about a year ago. I had a bad experience but six months ago maybe eight months ago, I decided to go back because I was craving salmon. I was greeted by Jordan to NEW manager, and she definitely show that he was making a difference in the place. I was seated with Andrew and BOY did my experience change. I have been stopping in to see Andrew about every other week and do not even have to bother giving him my order anymore.. if you haven t been in recently or maybe you re just wanting a new experience I would ask you to please give them a chance. Andrew doesn t generally work on the weekends, but he definitely definitely works during the week. Jordan is there almost every time I m in again they make the experience amazing. Dietary restrictions: If you want it special way all you have to do is ask. They are happy to take care of any of your special dietary needs. Parking: There is plenty of parking for everyone. Most of it is up close. If it s super full, you can park in the Wells Fargo parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Bring on the colors and the coloring books because they ve got it all. Including a live lobster tank as soon as you walk in the door. I have seen some of the servers even pull the lobsters out so the kids can take pictures with them. Wheelchair accessibility: They have plenty of space for Wheelchairs. If I were to guess I would say at least 24 of them.

Was greeted but they were working out a table issue. We were seated next to bar so servers walked by a lot. Just not ours. Long story short, we were there 35 minutes when server told us the kitchen had not prepared the lobster linguini as ordered and had to remade. Another 15 - 20 minutes. We had the most incredible experience celebrating my parents and in-laws anniversary here. I cannot say enough words to praise our waiter, Andrew. He not only accommodated us per our request, but also gave us the most outstanding service. He entertained the kids with the live lobsters ever so patiently and also brought out the sweetest anniversary celebration treats for the 2 couples. Andrew even made sure that we were served with warm biscuits, orange slices, and salads right at sunset, since some of us were fasting and the food would take a bit longer to come out. The food we ordered was exactly what we wanted and cooked to perfection. We will definitely visit this location again, all because of our exceptional experience and efforts put forth by Andrew!

I never had a bad experience at this place until now. But this time it literally felt like I was dining at a fast food joint. Our waitress told us she was out of glasses so she handed us the plastic cups which was fine, until she started bringing glass for the rest of the tables and I kept wondering why would she do that. Later she brought food for my friend and it looked like left overs. Now also charging for a salad lol... Again paying money isnt an issue but what you get for paying is an issue. We went there to unwinde but instead we went back more stressed as if we were doing something wrong but the waitress from the beginning was giving us a cold shoulder. Its even more bizarre to see that she didnt treating us differently and cold shouldering us and made us more stressed. When asked why was the portion too small, her answer was that she cant tell us. Later at the end we told the manager about our experience but I got a feeling there isnt much he will do about it. When I brought up a point about racism his response was unlikely lol but I think thats unlikely cause it was a bit racist to see how only we were being treated like beneath everyone else. Not going to this place. Burger King or McDonalds is far more better treating their customers than red lobster. Atleast they dont differentiate between people of color. this is even worse seeing they only want to fix the food but not the service!

So disappointed. We have been here several times. Surprised on a Saturday they were not busy. Very few customers at 6:30. Waitress brought our food but that was the extent. Tonight, I had an amazing dining experience at the Red Lobster in Frisco, Texas. Tanisha, our server, welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality. We indulged in delicious dishes like salmon, pasta, baked potato, mac & cheese, fillet, crab legs, lobster tail, and broccoli. Yet, the highlight was undoubtedly the heavenly cheddar biscuits theyre famous for. It had been a few years since our last visit, but the charm of Red Lobster remained unchanged. We enjoyed watching the little fish in the tank while Tanisha took care of us with her incredible service, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Her passion for the menu and dedication to making our experience memorable truly stood out. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts, already looking forward to our next visit to our beloved Red Lobster.

Went there on 3/13/24 midday. Will never go again. The host was incredibly rude, didn t look at us, turned her face away while taking us to our table and barely managed to mumble enjoy . I wish I had walked out but we were hungry and there was no wait. We ordered the stuffed flounder. The stuffing tasted off, very highly preserved (medicine like taste) and was inedible. The entire dish was swimming in margarine and/or butter. The baked potato had margarine and was drowning in it as well. We did not let the server know because the service was already so bad we did not want any retaliation in our food. The manager walked to a table behind us, and also didn t look at or greet us. The way we were made to feel unwelcome by all of the staff amuses me. Is this where supposed wealthy Caucasians are only welcome? HAHAHAHAHAHA! Their food and service has made this location one grade above fast food. Come on Frisco, do better. Save yourself money and time. Go elsewhere. The service and food quality is awful.

BELIEVE the bad reviews! Generally when visiting chain restaurants I ignore most reviews because most end up being the opposite of their below rating. However, this specific location lived up to it. It started out with call ahead seating which I did for a party of 9 people around 5:50 PM. The hostess quoted me about a 40 min wait which was expected on a Friday night. We then arrive at 6:15 and saw how unorganized and dirty the restaurant/host stand was we were still determined to wait and give the benefit of doubt. However, When checking in the hostess quoted another 45 mins from our ORIGINAL call in. Fast forward to final wait time we got seated by 7:05 PM with our party of adults and kids. Our waiter took our drink orders and although it was mainly water it took forever. We then proceeded to order as fast as we could as we saw how backordered this restaurant was. With kids, most places understand that time is key. Well, this one didn t as it took over an HOUR for our food to arrive! A lot of checking in back and forward with our waiter (not his fault) but the kitchen was definitely backed up. In observation, most tables were in the same situation with disgruntled families and couples. The food came out hot and tasted fine but this was easily the worst dining experience I ve ever had in my life and three hours wasted. There were two managers working and not a single one checking in on the tables or customer experience. On the way out, we saw some waiters just hanging out on their phone waiting for food to come out. When there were angry guest waiting for food, tables not bussed, customers waiting to be seated and trash all around the walkways I will definitely be reaching out to the GM and Corporate on our dining experience. This location should be revamped and retrained.

Food was fine, but the wait was insane for a place that was not fully packed. We put our name on the list at 6, was told a 45 min wait but were not seated til around 7:15. Then food took an hour to come out. So 1 hour waiting at the door, 1 hour waiting on food, and 1 hour to eat and wait for condiments, silverware, refills, and our check etc. A 3 hour dining experience is especially painful with 4 kids 5 and under in our group who were doing their best to be patient. They were clearly understaffed, but most of the staff that were there also seemed to lack a sense of urgency. The atmosphere was also very dark and dingy and felt unclean. Women s bathroom was also unkempt. Will not be returning, ever.

I havent been here for a couple of years. I was thinking of their cheddar biscuits as I passed them and decided to stop. I was seated promptly. The restaurant was clean, but outdated. There were only about 4-5 people there at 1 p.m. on a weekday. I think the parent company needs to spend some money in updating Red Lobster. My waiter Matthew, took my drink order and brought me biscuits. He was friendly, professional, and helpful. The biscuits were hot and as delicious as I remember. I ordered the Shrimp Your Way special with Shrimp Alfredo and Coconut Shrimp. It took about 15-20 for my food to come, but that was okay. I was sipping my drink and eating my biscuits. The alfredo was pretty awful. It did not taste homemade at all. I took it to-go...maybe I can doctor it up and make it taste better. The Coconut shrimp was delicious. I received 4 large pieces that were perfectly cooked. Thank goodness for the shrimp and the biscuits or I might have starved! ha, ha.

Really enjoyed my meal at the Frisco Red Lobster. The meal was great, our server was exceptional & my friends & I spent a fair amount of time there. Atmosphere is always wonderful. Cant wait to return. Parking: Since it was lunchtime, there was plenty of parking & it was during the work week.

The location wasnt too crowded for a week day. Red Lobster is celebrating their Lobster fest at this time. There were a few interesting lobster related options on the menu. I decided to eat one of my favorites there - The lobster flatbread pizza. We placed our orders shortly after being seated. The delicious cheddar baked biscuits came shortly after. We placed our orders a few minutes after the biscuits came and our entrees arrived in under 15 minutes. Along with my lobster pizza I ordered a house salad with mango vinaigrette (never had it before & was curious to try it)...the vinaigrette was good. I also ordered crispy brussel sprouts...I liked them but they were a bit over saturated with the sauce they used with them and the brussel sprouts could have been crispier. My daughter ordered shrimp scampi and skewered shrimp with broccoli. She enjoyed her meal. All in all, I liked my meal as well. The portions were sufficient and I brought home leftovers.

Went to the frisco location yesterday to celebrate my birthday. Ordered the lobster and shrimp lovers dream. Noted the lobster tasted a little rubbery and was probably overcooked. Got home and within the hour spent the next four hours violently sick with food poisoning. Never again.

Went there for no particular reason. I ordered the endless shrimp and the wife ordered create your own platter. We were greeted and sat immediately, our server Thomas was absolutely awesome very attentive and polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was good although I found the shrimp to be on the salty side also it seemed to take a long time for the refill of the shrimp to come out. Over all it was a good experience made wonderful by our server Thomas. Would come back because of Thomas.

On Thursday (01/03/24) last week I had a VERY long day and was just in need of something good.. A friend of mine had given me a gift card and that became my good token. Though I had been to this Red Lobster many times, I had stopped going about 5 months ago because the service had just not been decent at all. This night, I needed good food and I really didnt care how it made it to the table as long as it got there. I was quickly seated. This being a Thursday and after 7:00pm, it was not that busy. I no sooner got comfortable and was greeted by Andrew who politely introduced himself and asked for my drink order (a margarita on the rocks, salted rim and a extra shot OH and a glass of ice water). Off he went. a few moments later Andrew reappeared with Ice water, cheddar biscuits and a quest to start my order if I was ready. I ordered the Salmon New Orleans with brussel sprouts and a dinner salad with blue cheese and extra onions. (dear lord my mouth is already watering again). He left to enter my order but made a quick stop at the bar to bring me my drink first. This was by far the best margarita I have had there. Special thanks to Shelby for knowing her stuff and Andrew for not letting it sit there while the ice melted. Within minutes I had my salad exactly as I had requested. I watch Andrew as he made his way through his tables and always popping by to make sure I was doing well. I do not rush my salad. after about 7 minutes he returned to the table to tell me my salmon was ready but wanted to see if I wanted to wait a few and let me finish my salad or if I was ready for the main course. (TEN GOLD STARS for you Andrew.) The meal was presented to me with all the personal touches one could have made. After getting into my meal, Jordan (the manager) stopped by to check and make sure things were as I had asked so I made sure and gave him my huge THANK YOU. I had to ask him what had changed because I was rather taken back by the huge difference from my last few visits a few month ago. Time does heal things and this Red Lobster proved that to me. I will likely be returning tomorrow evening for dinner. Thank you again to Andrew as you are the shinning star here as well as Shelby and Jordan. You were all amazing and have done a great job at holding up your end to make this a great dinning experience! Cheers Wendii

We placed an order-ahead, curbside pick up order at 3pm, to be picked up at 7:15pm. We arrived on time, and were then made to wait in the curbside pick up slot for 50 minutes. Absolutely terrible service, I called twice and both times was told my food would be out soon. Considering how expensive the food has gotten, you d think they d manage to bring food out at the time it was ordered for. If the restaurant is too poorly managed to handle online orders, it shouldn t offer them. Making someone wait in their car for 50 minutes in the cold is insane. On top of that, they forgot one of the items in the order. I have never had such a poor experience with curbside pick up for any other restaurant. I ll never order from here again, and I suggest you do the same. I d give 0 stars if I could.

We have been to this Frisco Red lobster lots of times. My Red lobster loyalty program is at Plantimun level. Today weve had the worst dining experience ever. We took our 4 month old baby in a stroller with us. The server John Thomas wouldnt allow us to sit in the table, only assign us with a very narrow booth table. HE SAID WE ARE NOT allowed to sit in the middle tables with baby stroller! Why does the server have a such hate on kids and babies??? Thats the most absurd dining experience I had in my entire life!!!

We come to this restaurant often I don t know if tonight they were understaffed, but there was a handful of hair wrapped up in my boyfriend s broccoli. Literally it looked like somebody took the hair and just wrapped it around the broccoli. It was so disgusting he lost his appetite shortly after he lost his appetite. I lost my appetite because I m like if hair was gonna fall on Food, it would just be laying there when we wrapped in the broccoli. Just don t go here. Have been to Frisco location twice over six months and both times bad dining experiences. Service is very slow and food preparation time is worse. The buns on my flounder sandwich were hard around the edges like stale bread. The fish was burnt. Everything was cold. The rice was stale. I tipped but only at 10% because I had to drive a half hour to get there, When i got there they took like 15-20 minutes to bring the food out and it was AWFUL!it didnt soften after microwaving the food twice. It wouldnt even get hot after microwaving. You shouldnt be serving old stale food for the lunch carry out. I wanted to pick up in store but you site says you cannot do that unless you order $100 of food. So is this policy you serve stale food for carryout because its less than $100 order?

It was the worst experience ever for my daughters 13th birthday dinner celebration. I made a reservation over a week in advance, and we still had to wait 45 minutes to be seated while the restaurant was somewhat empty. Over an hour later, we got a couple of small baskets of biscuits. Another 30+ minutes later, we got water. Another 15+ minutes later, we started getting our food sporadically, one meal at a time, so we couldnt eat together. About 5 to 10 minutes later, we got our silverware. The original server rushed us to order and was very short and rude. No one took ownership to change the situation for the better. The manager, John, even told me my experience was unreal as if I wasnt there - despicable. The adults in our party were livid, but we tried to keep the girls in good spirits. I was embarrassed that we chose to celebrate here and treated like we should be grateful to dine here. We will NEVER return. The General Manager, John, and several other staff members need to find other employment, or this location needs to be shut down. He is a living example of why this location is suffering. The leadership is poor, and it is reflected in the service. Im not expecting Bobs Steakhouse (phenomenal, by the way) service from Red Lobster, but I also dont expect to be disrespected.

Came in on Halloween night to pick up a to go order, and the manager and staff there were absolutely incredible. Prompt service, courteous employees, and excellent care! Manager was dealing with a Karen but still made sure that I was taken care of, and staff did everything right that they possibly could. Cant wait to come back!
