My favorite spot in town. Drinks are always good (whatever we got so far, was better than average), but my personal recommendation is the Oxaca Old Fashioned, with Mezcal. Josh and Aspen rock! The food is also great. I had Ahi Tuna salad, Steak salad, and all the three burger options, and I enjoyed them all. The atmosphere is friendly and vibrant. The playlist of music played there always gives us an awesome time. The restrooms are clean. Overall, I recommend this place to everyone who doesnt mind smoking in the bars and wants to enjoy good drinks, quality time, and delicious food.

Good service and drinks. The ahi nachos were very good!! I wish that it had been a bigger plate. Be warned its a smoking bar but very cozy. Wheelchair accessibility: Getting inside is easy but navigating the interior much less so.

Im in the bar as I write this. The waitress is too busy playing a dice game for money at the bar to check on me. The drinks are nice when she gets to me. Still waiting on food. Its been about 15 minutes since I ordered it. Food was hot, but bland. Expected more for the price. Bartender was doing the majority of the cleaning. Heck hes the only onevi saw cleaning. Atmosphere is nice. I am assuming that you need to be a regular to get decent service. Place does have promise. Not sure if Ill be back.

I went there with my younger sister, she just turned 21 and I wanted her to try your chocolate martinis. She went to the restroom and when she came out your manager, Adam accused my younger sister of doing coke and that she had been there several times and recieved several complaints saying shes been doing coke. This is her first time and she was underage before, so I dont see how its possible for her to keep coming to this bar for drinks unless your serving underage girls. He refused to explain and automatically got on the phone to call the cops, I didnt yell or was I belligerent. This is crazy, I only wanted my younger sister to taste something sweet since shes not use to alcohol and care for bitter drinks.

Very nice patio with a refreshing view at night. Flat Land Locked Lubbock isnt the best place for scenery, but this is a good place to escape the city and feel a touch of nature on the patio even in the colder months

Gas Light is a nice place, quiet, its staff is friendly and efficient, spacious, with an outdoor area, you can smoke, you can watch sports, in the back area you can see the sunset, it feels good to be here, outside or inside, The shrimp with bacon was very delicious, the hygiene is good, we will return!

A friend invited me over and wow was I surprised. I never knew of this next to the mall. A fairly quiet and very nice lounge & grill. The food was on point. The steak bites were delicious. No draft beer but a great bottle selection. The outdoor patio is very relaxing and a pond in view while on the patio.

Gaslight is a very cool place to hang out with friends. The food is great, very nice selection of unique cocktails. Service is great. We had a group of about 15 and we very well taken care of. Sat out on the patio great atmosphere. When the sun went down it was amazing

Food and drinks were on point however waitstaff was rude, particularly one waitress who wasnt even tending our table who wouldnt mind her own business. Not to mention I watched one of the other waitresses hide and sneak shots while on the job. They just lost a repeat customer who used to frequent this place.

Very attentive servers and a nice ambiance. The only negative is that some of our food took a long time (about an hour for quite a few items). My guess is that is because it was busy and most of the food is prepped in house, not purchased pre-made and dumped in the fryer. Food is good and reasonably priced for the quality.

I wish so badly that we had a place like Gas Light in Houston Tx. Lubbock - you definitely have one over us with this gem. Bianca is an amazing server. The drinks were good and not expensive. It was so refreshing to sit indoors, drink, and enjoy my cigars. They have yummy snacks too. I really enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp. I ll be back the next time I m in town!

The place reeks of smoke and if you go after 10pm expect the staff to be hammered. Ive gone a handful of times and 1-2 employees are ALWAYS drunk. Ambiance and patio arent bad but I prefer to go to bars with employees that dont stumble, slur their speech and can remember orders.

They have a very nice atmosphere and a great patio with a great view, a sandwich and burger menu, I got their cheese sticks and a burger and was not disappointed. If all you serve is mainly burgers you better do a good job, and I was satisfied! Fries were seriouslynon point, perfection!

A really awesome place to hang out with family and friends. Very laid back and a great staff of people. The are really friendly and kind. Very prompted on getting what you need in fast and professional manner. Great place to have a conversation with someone you know or someone you just met. You can hear who you are talking to and hear yourself think because the music isnt loud at all. Dont get me wrong you can still hear the music but you dont have to scream over it just for someone to hear you. The patio is a great place to have a drink in the summer around evening time because you can watch the sun go down and watch the ducks play in the small lake right off the patio. I will be going back very soon. By the way the green apple martinis are very very good. I suggest you try one while you are there.
