Ive had this food void since me and my family moved back to the states from Ecuador. Most notably for some good pork belly chicharron. I am happy to report that the void has been filled. Well seasoned, super tender and fresh! Add that with some cilantro, onions, y salsa verde and mannnnnnn! I sprinted to Google to leave a review of this amazing place. They were so friendly, quick service, and the food was incredible! Such a gem and we definitely be back! Parking: We came around 5 on a Saturday and plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: No booster seats or kids menus but its totally chill.

The best selection of tequila and mezcal lives at this bar! If you want a Coors Light like most people who have left reviews here, don t bother coming! Hence why it says mezcaleria on the sign outside! :) I recommend you view the outside patio as they have made it into such a beautiful space! The owner, Taylor, the GM Jay and the bartender Jose are amazing for this business and to their customers! The Paloma s, margaritas and their newly released summer menu are all such great cocktails. 10/10 Parking: Scan the QR code inside available via bartender or waitstaff

You win some, and you lose some. 1st time coming here and will not be coming back. Service was atrocious. Left a $5 tip rather than stiffing the server the service was that bad. Ive done 109 reviews, and this is the top 3 worst restaurants my wife and I have been to. I got the chicarrones, and my wife got carne asada and chicken tacos. Very bland. Not much food, either. Went to the restaurant next door and got a burger. Salsa is basically a cup of lime juice and an onion mixed in. It was very watery. I ordered a ranch water and could not drink it all it was so bad. Guacamole and chips were mediocre and the best part of the meal.

Stellar wait service , great drink selection - amazing chips! I can t stress enough how awesome the owner was! He gave our party a ride to the concert across the street on an awesome golf cart. It saved us so much walking and it was just the touch of 5 star, above and beyond service that made me come and write this review. Was not impressed by the food at all. Lacked flavor, portion, and overall taste. The chicken was rubbery, it was in small portions not worth the prices at all. If I go back it will be to only have drinks. Also they dont have any options on other alcohol. Youre basically forces to drink tequila.

I actually like this place and have been here before, the food is good. However, it feels like they *drastically* over pour. I had 2 margaritas and got ill (and thats with drinking water in between). Keep in mind that Im used to drinking double neat whiskeys, so for me to get sick from 2 margaritas is insane. They really need to check the amount of booze they are dishing out to people for the customers (and their) safety.

The chicharrones were good and the fresh guacamole was great! I loved my tacos de lengua y carnitas and I even got my wife to eat some lengua before I told her what it was . She got a margarita and it was good. I got La Reigna, a sotol based drink with grapefruit and ginger, and it was great! All in all, great experience, and we will absolutely return!

Where do I begin my love story with Las Almas Rotas . A few years ago my friend and I stumbled upon this place because we love margs. As we sat down at the bar I realized we were in a bar with an outrageous mezcal program. After one delicious margarita I asked a bartender for a pechuga flight, something I knew little about and wanted to know more. Right away he was excited to help me and we worked within my price range to put something adventurous together. Fast forward 2 years and all the while I began following Las Almas on social media and I began to understand how much work they put into this program. The travel, the education, the communication I grew an immense amount of respect. So when my husband had to travel to Dallas for work I tagged along to come to this bar. For three days in a row, that s exactly what i did. For those three visits I was greeted by not only the most knowledgeable staff, but also the friendliest. They know the products, they want to teach the patrons who want to know but can make great cocktails for those who don t. The amount of work and dedication that goes into what this bar is doing is incredible and if you love agave spirits you need to go. Make the trip to Dallas, or if you re a local, go learn! It s been a week and I am already missing this place so much.

On our recent visit, we sat at the bar and had awesome service and drinks! Bartender Pablo and GM Jay were very knowledgeable and friendly. The chips with salsa and guac was the perfect afternoon snack. The chips are nice and thick and well salted! Ive had tacos and such on previous visits and its all good- but maybe a little more casual than you would expect for such and impressive bar. Drinks sampled included the featured cocktail (Tamarindo Montenegro), Cereza Mula, Nuez Cafe (their take on an espresso martini) and Noche de Desierto. All were delish but my personal favorite was the featured drink! We will surely be back!

Good drinks but when I was there the bartender ignored us and was mean. Had to order everything through the barback because the female bartender wearing overalls on 11/9 was too busy chatting with other staffers at the end of the bar. When we did order drinks she rolled her eyes. Also I ordered a naked and famous and the drink was made incorrectly. I do not want the drink with green chartreuse. The recipe is yellow. I would have ordered something else had I been informed not all ingredients were available. Just laziness.

The food is magnificent, the tacos are super delicious, I was lucky enough to go during the Day of the Dead celebration and the atmosphere was spectacular, the decoration and music made the perfect match. The only thing that needs a little improvement is the service, when the place is very busy they lose control of the service, the first to order are the last to be served. This happened to me a couple of times on my last visit. But I will definitely return

We love Almas Rotas. You will not find a place more committed to the celebration of the art of mezcal and the people who make it. All of the cocktails are well balanced and you can t go wrong with a flight of mezcal. The food is also great, with lots of (good!) vegetarian options. My recommendation is a paloma, guac, and nopal torta. I always suggest Almas whenever we have out of town guests or when someone is looking for a cool happy hour/dinner locale. Awesome vibe, great waitstaff, amazing food. If it s State Fair time, start or end your day at Almas. Vegetarian options: They ve really planned a menu that will give a vegetarian (or even vegan!) a full, delicious meal. It was not an afterthought. Delicious torta, tacos, elotes, guacamole and salsa, and a new delicious nopal salad.

Hands down, Las Almas Rotas is the best place to go as you can t go wrong with anything on the menu both drink and food-wise. If you like to support local small business go visit, especially during State Fair time. The fair takes over their parking so go spend time at the fair, when you re exhausted near the end of the day, you walk across the street and take a nice break with a good drink and some good food. Then you can go hit round 2 of the fair! Vegetarian options: They have good vegetarian options with the nopal torta and veggie tacos.

The Al pastor torta is good. The veggie quesadilla and torta are solid options if you are going meatless. The table service was not great. It seems they are more bartenders than actually table wait staff despite there are people there eating and they took our orders at the table. If you shut at the bar maybe the service is better. Otherwise I suggest take out rather than sit down. Vegetarian options: The few veggie options are decent. I would not go specifically for this though.

An amazing gem super close to Fair Park. Thank you to the staff for serving me an ice cold beer super late at night after I had been working in town all day. It seriously made my evening. Special shout out to Karen who was beyond amazing. Cant wait to be back in Dallas!

Las Almas Rotas has the best mezcal selection I ve experienced in Texas, and apart from a couple bars in Ca. maybe the best I ve seen outside of Oaxaca. The service is always good as is their food. I love this place! Food : 5/5

The hours arent traditional, its not open for lunch. But its a great spot to grab drinks with friends and the food is amazing. Parking is behind the building in a lot, so you have to walk to the front of the restaurant. But its also across the street from fair park, so if you are already going to fair park or leaving fair park, definitely stop in for some food and drinks. You wont be disappointed.

Las Almas Rotas is a fun and laidback place to hangout or grab a bite with friends but where it really shines is the cultural experience it offers in educating people about Mezcal and other Mexican spirits. I ve learned a lot here. I m definitely looking forward to coming back as much as I can.

The burrito bowl and churros were alright but what you need to get here is the mangonada and a Last Word but with mezcal instead of gin. The drinks are very tasty, great selection of mezcal.

I love the concept about a mezcaleria, the drinks are delicious, Wide variety of authentic tequila and mezcal options. The only thing I would say is that they should play more music from Mexico at night, I heard mostly Reggaeton which throws off the Mexican experience they are going for in my opinion.

Such a great place! It reminded me of Mexico City. The music, the food and of course the drinks. A vibe ! After a particular time, it becomes 21 and up to enter the restaurant; just Incase you come with kids. You can always sit outside tho.

Ive been going to this bar before it existed! This space has been many (in)famous bars in past, but its in its perfect incarnation now. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is incredible and the selection of Tequila, Mescal & Sotol is the best in Dallas. Add great service, some approachable owners an endless show on the front patio across from Fair Park, you cant beat it!

Las Almas Rotas does an excellent job of mixing the old, with the new! This part of town, is absolutely for those who enjoy venues with a style that feels more like an authentic pub. The heavy woods, smaller scales, and prominently placed bars, give the feeling you re amongst friends, no matter how many are gathering! The GM, whom I had the pleasure of meeting before visiting Las Almas Rotas, didn t over-sell the experience, atmosphere, nor the Mezcal presentation. Las Almas Rota s location, lends itself to accommodating quite an eclectic crowd. The food is served casually, but that wouldn t be the word used to describe the flavor of the delicious Mexican dishes their menu offers. As described above their entrance, this is a Mezcaleria, and my review wouldn t be complete without mentioning, The Maguey Species Mezcal sampler; the perfect 2 1/2 oz starter! Because, Sharing is Caring! our favorite was the Gracias A Dios. Make it a Mezcal kind of night! See you at the bar! Xoxo Lorenzo!

I always pass by and was curious to check the place out. Horrible experience! The first waitress/server was very nice, the second one very rude and with a sassy attitude (taking shots with clients). The drinks are horrible and when we asked for a lime for our tequila shot she brought the lime to us in her hand (dirty hand) so unprofessional. Trying to make it look like an authentic Mezcaleria (total failed). People who go into this place and think this is how it is will fall for it. If you have been to an authentic one you know this is just a gentrified one. We went to consume a product and try to support local vendors. Do not go into this place.
