There is so much to choice from my favorite is rib tips, and turkey wings, but lets not forget about the Smoked Bologna sandwich, I was shocked to see it on the menu cause that is not a Texas staple, but it was delicious. Fantastic BBQ experience. His ribs, both pork and beef steel the show. Family run business and their love for the food and experience always come through. One of my clear favorites in the area. He does a cooking with Mr B. experience once every three months. My wife purchased it for Fathers Day and I just did it this past Saturday. Walked through his process on each of the major cuts, and you get the opportunity to enjoy the labor of love along the way. Delicious again. Thank you, great time!

Since moving to Texas I ve been on the hunt for good bbq. I can say that this is one of few where without sauce there is actual flavor on the meats. Another bonus is I love rib tips but not a lot of places here sell them. I had a lot of burnt pieces for both the tips and sausage but because of the flavor of everything else I m willing to give them another chance.

This is some of the best BBQ in Texas, and I m not just saying this because Earnest is my Uncle . I moved here in 2019 I ve had other BBQ spots here but nobody is as good as Earnest B s. Earnest B s catered my GF boat party on September 13 and before we could take off from the dock all of the food was gone. We had ribs, rib tips, brisket, whole chicken, polish sausages, potato salad, bake beans, and Cole slaw. If you love BBQ this is the sport to go to.

I had the smoked wings. They were incredible. Earnest came out and gave me a fist bump, and welcomed me to his place. He was very nice. I have one critique. I had 12 wings and 2 napkins. Earnest Bs was recommended to me by a coworker from Indiana. I grew up there as well so I knew that she would know what I like. She said that the rib tips were off the chain so I decided to try them. Ive been in Texas 37 years and most BBQ places dont even sell rib tips. I was pleasantly surprised! They were really good and they gave me enough to eat for more than one meal. The potato salad was even better!! Whenever I want BBQ, I drive to Frisco. I HIGHLY recommend it!

It s rare that you walk into a new restaurant and immediately feel like you re a regular. A side from the heavenly aroma of the slow cooked meat, the warm welcome from Earnest himself immediately makes this restaurant a must try. I had the brisket and sausage plate and it is fantastic! I ve been a big fan of Earnest s bbq from his catering days and his current location is awesome. Staff is so friendly and their bbq is the best. Some favorites are the smoked bologna, loaded potato, and smoked chicken salad. Mississippi vinegar makes an awesome salad dressing. Love the beans and okra too. All I could taste was the BBQ sauce. The Tea was colored sugar water and not a single person greeted me nor did they check on me. The chips in the nachos were o.k however the cheese was canned. I would have overlooked those issues if I could have tasted the BBQ and not the sauce. I might have also overlooked the dish swimming in sauce if a single person had any personality. For refrence 1. Wife and I came in to eat. Only greeting was at the register of, how can I help you? Which was fine but that was the extent of the conversation. When i finished ordering the tip was immediately asked for at the kiosk. Great, i have no idea of how the food is going to taste and the service is already less than friendly. If i dont leave a tip ill get nachos with extra spit. The server didnt utter a word either, just stood there with the tray with our tea on it waiting for us to take it off. The sweet tea was way over sweet. Closer to sugar water. Finally the food. We got the brisket nachos. Delicious! I appreciate how Earnest the owner is always walking around checking on everyone and saying hi to so many repeat customers. The food is delicious. It has the perfect amount of seasoning and everything is super tender. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a great vibe. The prices are more than fair. I have used Earnest B s BBQ and Catering for both casual lunches and catering for gatherings. When I used them for catering there was simple step by step instructions in case I needed to reheat. It was packed nicely and easy for serving. My guests were raving about how delicious, tender, moist, and flavorful it was. When I have been there for lunch the atmosphere is so nice. The staff is great and always smiling! I can t recommend them enough. The bbq sauce is *chef s kiss* had to buy myself a couple bottles to bring home.

Holy Cow! Went in today for lunch with a friend based on his recommendation. While we are walking in, we hear Mr.Earnest singing happy birthday to his wife and Mrs. Cicely (one of the owners is working on her birthday, which obviously shows commitment, while her husband (other owner) is showing his love PROUDLY for his wife! Great intro! Then we get the food HOLY COW! The ribs were unreal awesome! They gave us the sauce to go with them, but I only used it on one because NOTHING needs additional sauce! Fricking great! We met the owner Earnest and he s a real gentleman. Treats you like family and makes you feel welcome. It was our first time so of course we wanted to try everything. Texas Style Ribs - really tender and juicy. Bite through but not fall off the bone. (Try them with the vinegar BBQ sauce and they are next level). The brisket was tender and juicy with good bark and the right amount of smoke. The smoked bologna was awesome. Tender and almost melted in my mouth. The smoked chicken wings are really good without any sauce or dip them in the sweet bbq sauce and you re addicted. My wife said the potato salad was really good. Spectacular is the word she used. Just a great local family owned business.

My husband had the chopped brisket with the two sides. The sauce is out of this world. The coleslaw and potato salad were superb and I m a picky connoisseur of both. Since moving to Texas, my friend and I enjoy going around the local BBQ joints and trying a variety of their food. We went to Earnest Bs last weekend and the food was excellent. We tried the Dino Rib (Beef Rib), Pork ribs, brisket, and catfish. When we walked in we took a moment to look at the menu and the woman taking our order was very kind, attentive, and gave good suggestions. Once we got our food, Earnest came around and checked how everything was and how we were doing which was appreciated. The best part was the prices were not outrageous for the amount of food we ordered. It was very reasonable which sometimes BBQ joints can be out of hand with how much they charge. Earnest Bs had the best pork and beef ribs I have tried and their brisket rivaled neighboring and local crowd favorite Hutchins. The catfish was absolutely fantastic and the homemade tartar sauce complimented the fish excellently. The restaurant is seemingly tucked away, but a hidden gem none the less. I would definitely recommend Earnest Bs for anyone in the mood to have some great Texas BBQ or genuine fried catfish.

Youre pleasently greeted as you walk in and / or out. Then came the menu, lots to choose from. They have plates, sandwiches, Texas style salads, appetizers, sides, and a kids menu. There are group packs and / or catering. I might be missing a few items. I had the rib plate with Mac n cheese and baked beans. I also orde ed a side of catfish to try. I took a bite of the rib, and it was so smooth, buttery, and tender. The catfish blew my mind! The golden, crunchy outer texture, seasoned so wonderfully, was delicious. Inside, all white meat and juicy. Glad I found this spot while taking my cousin to her cheer practice. This place is located by All Stars in Frisco,TX.

Rib Tips Had a craving for some so I decided to try this place ,for one since it was the first thing that popped up on Google , two I was very close by and three The reviews were very good and I must say that the restaurant did not disappoint. I visited Texas for the first time and this restaurant was highly recommended by a local. This is likely thee best BBQ I ve ever had. I had the chopped chicken, corn, and potato salad. Hands down one of my new favorite barbecue joints in the entire area. Actual reasonable prices. The staff is awesome, very friendly, Earnest himself is regularly around talking to guests. After multiple visits, Ive yet to have a single bad thing from his menu. From a warm southern hospitality welcome to the BEST BBQ and sides Ive ever experienced to this level of quality. Even Mr. Earnest B was there himself to welcome his customers into his establishment. I could not recommend this dive more than Ive already expressed. Just know and be patient as this is NOT fast food. Theres a whole lot of passion put into this as he expressed to me. Unfortunately, this BBQ place was not worth the hype. I heard it was comparable to Hutchins and that is a flat out lie. The food was dry, bbq beans were from a can and potato salad was not anything different than you can get at the store. On top of that we waited half an hour for our dinner in an empty restaurant on a weekend. Not a good look. We won t be returning

I m from the Midwest and it s hard to find bbq with the similar flavor/grilling style that I m accustomed to until now. Rib tips are hard to find here in Dallas, and good ones at that. Earnest B s rib tips are awesome. Tender, juicy, seasoned to perfection, and the bbq sauce was just right, not watery and not vinegary. The potato salad is delicious too, just a tad sweet, perfect. There is no way I can leave a better rating. They have the most savory food I have ever had. I had their catfish sandwich and my wife had the chicken. 6/27/24 Updating the review - 5 Stars all around!!! This is probably the first time Ive returned to a bbq place within the span of a week. The service drastically improved, ordered and picked up in less than 15 mins. Kudos to the management team for implementing the needed changes. The food was AMAZING!!! This place is becoming my favorite destination. 6/22/24 Let me start with the food - best bbq Ive had, all 3 meats we tried were amazing. Tender, jucy, and smoked to perfection. The sauce was great as well. I liked the coleslaw and hush puppies they were very good. However, the mac n cheese was ok. Advice for management - you should look into fixing the wait time. If you can address this part, its 5 stars all the way and no one to beat you in the Frisco area. Im planning to visit again with a larger group, and I hope to receive better service. Overall, great bbq!!!

This place was great! We ordered the BBQ brisket and burger and they were both delicious. The staff was very friendly, family business, and the place was clean. We showed up 30 min. till closing and the place was packed so I knew right off the bat we picked a good place. Even once they locked the doors, people were still sitting around eating, and the staff was still respectful. As we left, people kept checking the door.

This place takes me back to my home STL I just picked them on Doordash Juneteenth cause I wanted some BBQ. To my surprise they had ribtips all I can say if you know you know. I used Door Dash to order Earnest B s for lunch. My food arrived quickly and was still warm and fresh. It was packaged with a sticker keeping my bag closed so that gave me peace of mind that my food wasn t tampered with on the way. I ordered the rib tip plate with baked beans and potato salad. -First time take out visitor -Spacious and clean dining space -Dont expect a quick in and out; you may want to order online first. I waited at least 15 minutes for my order placed in the restaurant. There is a posted sign stating they are not a fast food restaurant, so be prepared to wait - Great portion sizes -1/2 rib plate with mac & cheese and baked beans; ribs were very fall off the bone tender; sides were basic. Bbq reminded me of canned baked beans; I would order the ribs again with different sides; the bbq sauce was a bit too spicy for my liking. I dont know if there are multiple sauce options. I had 2 bbq sauce cups in the bag and both were spicy -Smoked bologna was definitely smoked; it was not horrible but salty; I would not order this again -Catfish filets were great and seasoned well. Tartar sauce was good too; I would order this again. -Restaurant was packing catering orders too, so that may have impacted the wait time in the restaurant - Earnest B was present and would speak to customers; he seemed friendly; lady at the from desk did not seem as friendly; she wasnt rude per se, but shes not winning any congeniality awards either based on my perceptions and interactions with her -Carry out items were well packed and nothing spilled -Overall, I think the spot is good, and I would visit again and try new things.

Earnest Bs BBQ was delicious! We went to Hutchins BBQ first and that place was out the door so we googled BBQ in the area and this pulled up so we took a chance and Im so glad we did! Its a nice space with AC and friendly staff. We tried the brisket which was super flavorful and tender and then went on to try the ribs which pulled nicely off the bine! My wife ordered the sausage which was tasty, we also had the brisket Mac and cheese, baked beans, and French fries. The Mac and cheese was average along with the baked beans but the fries were super fresh! I will definitely be coming back here and telling other people to come as well! Also a side note: the owner and his wife came out and introduced themselves and made sure that we felt welcomed and taken care of which was a nice touch.

In town for a wedding , and smelled BBQ from the hotel (Hampton Inn) so we walked over. So glad we did! We debated staying as it was very crowded with a graduation party. I am a KCBS bbq judge and this is good bbq. Wings had amazing smoke flavor and that s tough to do. Spiced moist brisket was money. Ribs had great flavor and weren t hidden in sauce, a touch over for my taste but most people will love them because the meat is just about fall off the bone tender. Green beans were good. Corn was completely forgettable and should be avoided. Totally recommend.

New to the area & came in for BBQ but saw they had catfish on Friday & Saturday so I had to try it. Got a catfish plate and two sides, slaw & beans. First of all, baked beans have no business being this good. The slaw was crunchy, tangy and and well seasoned. And then there s the catfish the plate came with 4 huge catfish filets. These were the flakiest but also somehow the crunchiest catfish I ve ever had. Amazing flavor, and the tarter sauce was out of this world good. To top it all off, Ernest himself came over to my table and said hi, and thanked me for coming in. He was all over the restaurant talking to customers, checking in on everyone.
