I stayed at the Omni PGA Frisco for a few days during a conference and had a fantastic experience. Although there was a bit of a line at check-in, the staff was extremely attentive, even offering cold water while we waited. The process was quick and efficient, and the resort itself is immaculate. One morning, I ordered breakfast from Starbucks, and to my surprise, the front desk called to ask if it was a good time to bring it to my room I expected to go down to pick it up! The customer service and attention to detail are incredible. Everything, including the rooms, was spotless, and the views were stunning. With amazing amenities like several bars, restaurants, and shopping, I highly recommend this hotel!

Wow just wow! Such a beautiful hotel! We had our anniversary here over the weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! Staff was friendly, everything was amazing! The room was beautiful, clean, the bathtub OMG!!!! Tiffany Henson and all of the staffs that helped were absolutely amazing! However one issue was the drinks at the adult pool a tad pricy and it was very watered down! But overall One of the best staycations yet!!!!

Trying to put my kids to sleep on a Wednesday night and none of them can go to bed because there is music so loud it is vibrating their beds. Call the cops to file a noise complaint thinking one of the neighborhood teenagers is throwing a party. Turns out it s coming from the Omni, a hotel that is two miles from our house.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort! This past weekend was my second time staying here and we have decided we have to make this an annual tradition. From the food to the rooms to especially the service, everything here is exceptional. We came for my husbands birthday and they made us feel so special. Blair at the pool was amazing, but honestly we had great interactions with everyone who works at this property; you can tell the employees truly enjoy working here. You have to eat at Trick Rider - great steaks and fun atmosphere - our server there was wonderful and made us feel like we were his only table. This was mostly a couples trip, but the last day we had our 3-year old son come over as we live locally and he loved the pool/splash pad and the ice cream shop, so I also feel this property is great for families and kids! I am already looking forward to coming back!

Price was great for a 5 star hotel, and it is very close to the PGA. The whole hotel feels clean, and the rooms are one of the best, but this isnt the best golf resort. The hotels location though was close to the PGA, was located close to a community and it felt odd.

Extremely nice and new hotel. Food is top notch and fresh. Staff were extremely friendly. We rented a cabana at the family pool and were blown away by the level of service and detail from the poolside attendant, Bill. Bill constantly was checking on us and thinking ahead of how to make the experience most enjoyable, e.g., bringing us waters (without asking) as we got our kid in the stroller to go on a walk. We will definitely be returning!

My husband and I had a spa day at Mokara. The co ed space was large, comfortable and relaxing. Great massages and amenities, including a pool only for those visiting the spa. At the end of the day I forgot my swimsuit in the spa. The next morning, the hotel concierge was very friendly and confirmed with the spa they had the swimsuit and gave it to security, but yet they were never able to locate it. My husband and I look forward to returning for another spa day.

Ok where do I start. Oh, I know From the moment I drove up to the resort. All of the valet guys were super friendly and helpful. It was great customer service to offer me a cold bottle of water as I was checking in and again while departing each time. This Texas heat be heating up real good so staying hydrated is very important. I wish I had exact name but they were ALLLL very helpful and nice. I proceeded into the check in desk and was greeted by Breanna (Bre) who also made me feel welcomed and assisted me with my reservation and getting checked in and placed into a room that would allow my to have a wonderful experience for my birthday stay which I shared with her. What blessed me the most was the extra mile Bre took by sharing my birthday with the concierge staff member Mel. Mel ordered a special delivery to my room that warmed my heart tremendously. This over night stay was special to me. It was a retreat for myself to turn off the noise and just BE Breathe and Chill. Staff members Tyler (entrance bar), Bre (front desk), Mel (Concierge), Jamie (Apron restaurant), Hispanic gentleman working early hours at the adult pool. I can t remember his name was so sweet in offering to take some pics for me. These members made it possible to just Be Breather and Chill. They made it hard for me to leave. I can t wait to come back. Top notch service and experience and stay! 5 stars +

Upscale resort on an expansive golf course with beautiful surroundings and open skies. Had the opportunity to stay here a couple days for a business event. Rooms were nice although this place can sometimes be a maze but you can be rest assured to get your steps in! Food options are limited. Coffee bar was good and breakfast was decent at The Apron although not very tasty. Lunch and dinner served as part of the work event was good. I was not advised of the $35/day resort fee upon check in, $25/day parking fee is unwarranted and they forgot to take my license plate number during check in and when asked they said they might slap a violation when I checked the car later but not to worry they can take it off but why not avoid giving the violation when it is their error in the first place (they also forgot to give me back my credit card!) Rooms: Comfortable large rooms yet finding them ins a maze. Could possibly use a few more signs - encountered multiple people that seemed lost! Nearby activities: Lots of options - Yoga, day trips, fun activities for kids, Walkability: You will get your steps in! Be prepared for lots of walking around this place! Food and drinks: A small number of options but decent yet pricey (as expected) Noteworthy details: $35 resort fee and parking is $25 overnight (at the time of writing this review) - this parking fee is totally unwarranted IMHO

Be prepared to walk a couple minutes to your car unless you do valet, although they do have golf carts and shuttles taking you everywhere you need to go. I don t mind the walking, just thought I d mention it. For as luxurious as the place is, expected a little more from the rooms in terms of size and features.

This is a gorgeous resort, and was a wonderful place to hold a conference. The banquet hall manager was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. All the staff were kind and helpful, and the bartenders were very knowledgeable. Food and drinks: There were sugar and sugar substitute free drinks I could have, but not many gluten free options on the various menus for my restricted diet, which is pretty normal for me. Fortunately there are many restaurants in the area.

Came here for our 5 year wedding anniversary weekend since weve had wonderful dining experiences here. Great service! Great staff. Highly recommend. After check-in, my wife promptly left for the spa since she scheduled a facial earlier that week, along with hours of other spa services for us. While she pampered, I went to the Apron Kitchen + Bar to have a beer while they readied our room that wasnt quite ready upon our 12:45 pm early check-in. After two rounds of beer, our room was ready and I went up to set up our stuff. Upon going into the room, I was surprised to find out they had upgraded our room to a nicer corner suite for our anniversary. This room has an amazing layout. Small entry leads into the living room which had floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that overlooked the main courtyard and golf course. The master suite had a connecting balcony with the living room and separate sliding glass doors for its room. Beautifully laid out and wonderfully decorated. My wife loved the plaid carpet and wallpapers. The bathroom was huge. Had a beautiful soaking tub and a separate giant shower with step bar in the corner to help rest a raised foot for shaving. Toilet did run, so you had to jiggle three handle a lot to get it to stop/fill up. One complaint about the room, was that you could hear the courtyard music all night/morning. Either need better windows, or lower music settings after midnight. After I got us all settled into the room, I got dressed for the spa and met my wife in the nail salom for our pedicures. We both did the 80 minute pedicures and loved everything about our technicians. Great job! From there, we checked into the spa down stairs and sat in the coed lounge which has drinks and great chairs. We waited maybe 5 minutes before our masseuses came for us. We did the 80-minute couples massage and they did wonderful. From here, we stopped by the Green Cactus Cafe for some quick easy bites and cocktails before getting showered up and on to our 7:45 pm dinner reservations at Ryder Cup Grille. I was the only patron in the inside seating area and I ordered my appetizer, food, and cocktail about 5 minutes before my wife joined. Once she joined, she ordered her cocktail and we waited another 30 minutes before our quick refreshments showed up. I understand our drinks we ordered were the custom non-spicy versions of the Passionfruit margarita, but service should be a wee bit faster. Had the pineapple pizza, hummus plate, and margaritas and they all were spectacular. The pizza kinda basic, but still tasty. After showering and pampering, we started to walk to the the Ryder Grille for dinner, but we were maybe only a minute in before a golf cart asked if we needed a ride anywhere, to which we graciously accepted. Dinner was fabulous as always. Tonight, I had the IPA and the wife had the Sweet Tea Smash for our drinks. We started with the street corn Caesar salad split, which was amazing. But of course, Chef Rafael, had an off-menu avocado appetizer stuffed with chicken & cheese, and piled high with toppings. My wife absolutely loved this! Than you. From here we split the pork chop with arugula, which was perfect. For dessert, they brought out this monsterous platter with bread cake, vanilla ice cream, churros, strawberries, cowboy cookies, and pecan pie. Absolutely delicious! Made our anniversary perfect. From here, we were too stuffed to play the par 3 night course and cancelled our tee time and went back to the room just in time to catch the drone show. Our 4th floor balcony overlooking the courtyard provided the perfect vantage point to the show. This was so cool! The next morning, we slept in and then ordered in coffee and breakfast from Apron Kitchen + Bar. Great food and service. After that we packed up and called the front desk for a luggage cart. They provided us a 15-20 minute wait time. After 45 minutes of waiting, we checked out via phone, grabbed our bags, and carried them out. They were super backed up. Valet wasnt too bad of a wait. Overall, loved everything about our stay.

This place is mostly very good, but just not great. Everything is brand new which is nice. Rooms were good. Staff were great. Pools were nice, but small in my opinion. Plenty of food options. Good place for families (drone show was a nice touch). The West Course 18 was solid, but overpriced when compared to some of the truly great golf courses across the U.S. The downside, and a big one for me, is the location. The surrounding landscape is dotted with track home communities and city streets, and nonstop air traffic overhead. I don t know if it s feasible to plant enough trees/shrubs to block those views. So with the JW Marriott San Antonio also an in-state option, we probably won t return to the Omni.

Love the Omni, but that said, a hotel that is a year old, wanted to give some feedback on how to improve. 1. Turn the country music off during quiet hours. There is no need to be playing it through the night when guests are trying to sleep or early morning when we want to sit out on our balconies and have our coffee and be peaceful. 2. Tone down all the activities you always have going on, especially for kids. Too much of a good thing sometimes isn t a good thing. This is a resort where people come to relax and with all the activities constantly going on, it is too much overstimulation. 3. Bring the room rates down a bit. The rooms are nice, clean but on the smaller side and half the rooms have no balconies. 4. Don t charge a parking fee. Other than those four things, the Omni does a great job and the staff is always very kind, helpful and friendly.

Noteworthy details: Do you hate polka music? If so...then hope this resort decides not to play it...or any other musical genre you dislike. Including country music. Because you cant escape the Omnis choice of loud music in the commin areas. The same loud recorded song blares in the lobby. And simultaneously outside on the back patio. And across the pool area. And along the walkways between buildings. And on the outside restaurant patios. And over the outside putting greens. You literally cannot get away from it unless you get in your car and leave or plug your ears. Good luck going back to your room if youre trying to take a nap or take a work call. Someone in property management decided for their visitors that quiet was not an option, and that everyone was going to listen to an onslaught of steadily blaring music, whether they liked it or not! Know before you go...

Beautiful place with great views. The suite my wife and I stayed in was amazing. If you are looking to do things outside of the resort, you will have to drive a ways out, but the resort has so much to do including some planned free activities that we never left. Although very nice it is very expensive. Food and drinks were delicious, but were pricey and there arent restaurants nearby to go to instead. Also, there are alot of taxes and fees added at the end of your bill increasing the cost to stay i.e. Texas Occupancy fee which is strange since we live in Texas. Parking is also another fee as you have to pay to valet or pay to self park. For how much you must pay to stay there it would be nice to have more included. Overall though great place and all staff were kind and greeted you when you walked by. I recommend going, but prepare your wallet $$$ Rooms: The suite was amazing with a huge shower Food and drinks: All food and drinks tasted really good, but are high in cost

Chis Farber, the GM of restaurants at the PGA Omni was absolutely incredible. His staff at each of the hotel s restaurants reflect his leadership, and hands-on commitment to stellar customer service. We saw him quite literally Everywhere on the huge campus always working Hard, but always taking the time to welcome, chat with, and service guests. I wouldn t be surprised if he were given the Tiller of the Ship over the entire facility. Our staycation was terrific, and we ll be back again.

For a Resort style hotel, I was very disappointed. The staff working was Awesome, friendly and very helpful. They were by far the best part of the place. The rooms for that kind of price, very disappointing. If you are going to call yourself a resort then you cannot have these basic pools. Very disappointed. I am not into golf do that was wasted on me. Not much else around the hotel so food choices were limited. Luckily I was there on business. I would have been even more disappointed had I gone here for vacation. Rooms: Disappointing

Absolutely beautiful hotel, service was above and beyond what we expected. The sincere greeting when we arrived was appreciated after a days travel. All of the employees we came in contact with was genuine. The grounds of the hotel are nice for a walk, or relaxing by one of the many seating areas with fire pits that have a great view. The food at the restaurants were delicious. We will definitely plan to stay at the OMNI again!

First and foremost the grounds, and the room were absolutely beautiful no complaints whatsoever and the absolute only reason my wife and I did not rate it lower. Now for why it s a 2 star review. The last day of our trip for context At 8:30 AM in the morning while in the shower, unaware, my wife was awakened by someone trying knocking then trying to enter our room. Thankfully, the metal metal flap was up so they were not able to get in. I called down to the front desk. The gentleman seemed understanding and Told me Paxton would be calling me as soon as he got in. Check out time was 11 so by 10:15-10:30 I was getting frustrated. We hadn t heard anything on the matter. I took it myself to call the corporate and file a ticket and said she would reach out to the resort directly about the situation. her last words were if there s actually did happen I m so sorry. I was dumbfounded at this point. 11 o clock Came and went and no one reached out to us. So since the corporate ticket said it could take up to three days we just went ahead and left. On the way home someone from on PGA called us very apologetic trying to explain the scenario that the housekeeper thought the room was empty, that they Got it mixed up with the opposite room. The one problem with this copout is that both our room and the opposite room had do not disturb side on. My wife took her call so I didn t get a chance to understand their practices for barging in when rooms have do not disturb nor do they not have computer systems that show rooms that are occupied and not occupied . this person then went on to comp our valet. Which at the beginning of this, I didn t want anything other than them to account for the seriousness of the situation. But after hearing how they handled it and the lady, I spoke to that said if this happened, I m so sorry I feel like a lot more than a 47$ valet fee. And if they do reach out regarding the ticket that was created, I will say as much because this wasn t taken seriously enough. So beware of the customer service at this beautiful, stunning location.

For the price, not worth it. The grounds are beautiful, the front desk staff was friendly, the adults only pool on the roof has a great view. That said, the rooms are very small, minimal space to work, eat, no mini bar etc. We had to ask for additional coffee pods + towels multiple times before being services. Hours posted for the amenities and shops are inaccurate and staff seemed confused / uninformed of resort happenings like happy hours, menu items etc. Underwhelming to be honest.

For the price, an underwhelming experience. The grounds are stunning, the finishes are stunning. But there is no mini bar in the rooms. I paid extra to have a balcony room and the view was of the front parking lot...had I known, I would have passed. Theres also a gazillion hallways to navigate to your room if it is far from the elevators. As a rewards member they give you 1 drink card/pass but its silly if you are a couple. My room included a breakfast credit but we were never told how to use it, so we didnt.

By far one of the biggest operations blunders I have ever seen. We waited in line for valet parking for 1:40 only to be directed to the main hotel valet then to be told it was closed. I personally witnessed one valet hand a patron his key and point to the lot with the comment it will be quicker if you go get it . Elderly patrons for the fundraiser/ gala we were attending were forced to walk in the rain. The hotel only stepped up to offer shuttle service when the 7pm event was to start. Jeff Smith, the GM, should strongly consider the employment of his Operations Manager and Valet Manager/ Service. There was no apparent leadership or effort made to direct attendees of the Gala or the Prom. To be told the prom was to have bussed students in and chose not to should result in a penalty to them. The Omni owes a sincere apology and contribution to The Samaritan Inn. Weather nor the prom are excuses for the way this was handled. I have attended far larger events at comparable hotels/ venues and never experienced such. I STRONGLY advise looking for an alternative venue as the Omni PGA is still not at the level it should be.

I attended a banquet for 800 people the same night that the hotel had prom(s). It took 1 1/2 hours to get from the street to the valet parking, where we were told that valet was closed. We had to spend more time driving to another valet parking area that was also closed but the young man told us he would take care of us. Then we had to walk through the whole hotel to get to the ballroom where the banquet was already started and had to go through the area where the prom attendees were. We had to do the same route in reverse to leave. The hotel didn t have near enough parking or adequate access to the parking from the street. At least the food was good. Very disappointing experience overall. I won t go there again for anything. They can t handle crowds.

The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean which is vital when trying to get a good nights sleep. My review is more reflective of the spa and amenities within the hotel. The gym is sufficient for a few days but far too dark. It should have been in a room with windows which would provide natural light. I got a massage that was very average - Not close to being worth the price I paid. To top it off, I really wanted to use the Hot tub but it was more like a Warm tub of around 90 degrees and the jets do not produce pressure at all. A place to stay for golf or business, fine. But a place to go for the dining or spa services, I d look elsewhere.

Came here for a wedding. Everything was really nice and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint (and this seems to be a thing with all higher-end hotels/resorts) is that the bed felt like I was sleeping on a board. When I would go to get up after laying on the bed for a while, I would have to use the pregnancy technique of getting on my side first and then pushing up with my arms or else my back would really hurt. But other than the bed, everything else was great!!

Ok Im going to bump off one star because when looking into my folio I had a meal charged to my room that I didnt make Im sure this could and would be addressed but I had already turned in my expenses and to have to wait for the money to be credited really wasnt worth the time involved and Im hoping in the future when someone says charge it to my room they actually scan the keyboard not just ask if they want it billed to the room.

They ve come a long way in their first full year of business. The rooms are very nice. The service has improved significantly from my first stay. The golf courses are magnificent. If you re here to golf, you will not be disappointed. If you re here to be pampered or to eat you might be slightly disappointed. I was underwhelmed by the menu selection and level of service. I expected more. I just want it all to be as good as the golf. There are better restaurant selections but they re a twenty minute Uber ride away. I did love the coffee and service at their little coffee shop. I think that the rest of the staff and management could learn from the personal caring of the one barista that served me. If they all had her kindness it would be a true five star in my books.

Service from beginning to end was absolutely terrible. I tried to do early check in and was told that I couldnt do it same day because of high occupancy. Then later was told that there was low occupancy so they closed the hotel restaurant early. No one knows whats going on. Service everywhere is absolutely horrendous. Food is really really bad. Rooms are very basic. Not even a microwave in the room. Total rip off. I will NEVER come back here. Rooms: Basic Food and drinks: Horrible
