Our old Rotolo location closed with the pandemic, so we were happy to see that this was another location. Food was as enjoyable as always. We went at an off time, so there were potentially fewer servers than would otherwise be available. This location seems to have a number of drafts on tap.

Pros: menu has a lot of great-sounding food options Waitress was nice Atmosphere is clean and nice, with some good music Lots of free parking Truffle fries were pretty good Cons: our Detroit-style pizza crust tasted like baked parmesan and I wasn t a fan at all. I also didn t like the pizza itself, so I tore off the bread on the bottoms of the pizza and just ate those. Disappointed too because I was so excited for it! The waitress wasn t the most attentive with refills and was quick to leave our table after doing something, so it was hard to ask her for more of something

We went 7/30/24, 6 adults and 2 children. Service was extremely slow, the restaurant filled up pretty quickly. I m not sure if our server was the only server, there might have been one other server but that s all. Our food all came out at different times, by the time my food came out everyone else at the table was done with theirs. The food was okay at best. My main complaint was when it was time to pay the bill the waiter brought the credit card machine over, no paper bill and no mention of gratuity automatically been added. It wasn t until after we paid and saw the receipt that showed the gratuity that was automatically added without our knowledge. We didn t have any complaints about our server, he was working hard and we would have tipped well just not the 45% he ended up with. We didn t complain or say anything but that was definitely our last time going there. If you choose to dine there be aware and ask to see the bill before inserting your credit card into the reader.

This is quickly becoming a favorite pizza spot. The chicago style deep dish is one of my favorite styles. I had to come back a second time to make sure the flavor was truly as good as the first time. It did not disappoint. You have to try it.

This is my 2nd experience at this particular place. Walked in and waited several minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited for someone to wait on us. Finally a waitress came from the back and talked to the bartender. I guess they figured out who should wait on us. While waiting, another couple walked in and waited to be seated by the hostess who was siitting in the back playing on her phone. There is no sense of urgency by the wait staff. Also got charged $14 for one beer! Sorry to say I wont go back. Sad because this place was really good.

Great food and taste! Our server was Kiana and she was wonderful! We got to taste different beers and she guided us through the menus as it was our first time visiting the location. Visited here for the first time and it was great! Kiana was our server and she is wonderful. She was upbeat, friendly, and knowledgeable with the menu. We received our food quickly and it looked heavenly. We ordered THE CHALMETTE cheese sticks (amazing), a slice of pizza, chicken Alfredo, and the chicken parm pasta (on the sweeter side, not my fav but still good). We will return for sure!

First off, great service. Our waiter was very attentive and very helpful in helping us choose our pizza. We ended up getting the Gumbo pizza and the sausage poboy pizza, which were their limited time menu items. The pizzas were good and very flavorful. We also got the Truffle fries and it was very flavorful as well. Highly recommend coming here to try the food.

We came here to give it try and I really wanted to give this place a five star rating on the food but unfortunately the flavors, taste and texture wasnt there. Customer service was good but probablycould use more energy, music was a bit low, the restaurant vibes were a little sad feeling I went with a classic pepperoni and a meatball sub with sweet potato fries. 1st the crust was dry and hard, yet very high with yeast and parts of the dough was still undercooked and no flavor, 2nd the sauce had no special flavors it was on the sweet side like as if it came right out of a tomato paste jar and then spreaded on, 3rd the cheese didnt have any flavor like how mozzarella cheese has a hint of salt but this had none and it was also more rubbery and stretchy, 4th the pepperonis were small rounds and packed no flavor, it actually had a weird bitter after taste. As for the meatball sandwich... the cheese again very stretchy rubbery, the sauce possibly the same as the pizza, but the meatballs were good in flavor. Maybe we just picked the wrong items? Maybe the cook in the kitchen was having a bad day? All I can say is I love pizza but a little more garlic, herbs & salt will be a good start. I almost think this place dislikes garlic and oregano because I didnt find it or taste it. I hope this comment turns this restaurant into a game changer.

We started going there a few months ago to support our friend, who was hosting trivia. The food was ok, a little heavy on the salt. 2 weeks ago, a shift leader spoke very unprofessionally to our friend, after we had rallied from last place to win first and the $30 gift card. Apparently he thought a team of off-shift workers drinking heavily at the bar deserved to win. Whatever, bro. Kid Rock is no hero, thats all I will say about your lifestyle choices. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and condescending to the trivia host. How does one justify being that hurtful to another human being, over a gift card? I now intend on calling the owner and giving him or her a piece of my mind. This was unacceptable. If that were my restaurant, Id fire that employee. btw saw the reply to Wesley Moon, and I know for a fact the owner is lying. Personally witnessed the guy paying his bill on multiple occasions.

Subpar food, lazy neglectful service, and rude staff basically sums up my overall experience at Rotolos. The deep dish was okay, but I will say but their pasta dishes were saltier than a child losing at Fortnite. But their biggest weakness was the staff. The wait staff were all very young and on their phones instead of helping people. The bartenders seemed visibly intoxicated at times. This was not a one time incident, as I was there multiple weeks in a row to play King Trivia. If you want a good Deep Dish somewhere close, I recommend Taste of Chicago in Addison.

I placed a to-go order with a pizza, calamari and some cheese bread. On the positive side, the atmosphere in the restaurant is really cool. Big TVs at the bar and very clean looking restaurant, but that was inconsequential considering I ordered takeout. It seems to me this place is a pizza restaurant trying to sell fancy/expensive brick oven style pizzas, but it just isnt up to par. The calamari was some of the worst we ever had. It had a rubber like texture and very little breading. The crust on the pizza we ordered was downright hard. The cheesy bread was actually pretty good, but the cheese was actually thicker than the bread, so a bit misproportioned. Id recommend finding a better high end pizza restaurant like Urban crust or just drive a mile down DNT and get a big slice of delicious and cheap pizza from Costco. Youll be happier with either option

Ordered buttery flakey crust specilty pizza but got thick heavy sourdough that looked nothing like the picture and hardly any bacon. Made due with eating cheese off of 3 pieces. They didnt seem bothered that I left 3/4 of it on the table.

Food was amazing and fresh. Our server was not very attentive ands seemed distracted, but the food was fantastic. I had the shrimp scampi wrap. That was the first of its kind that Ive ever tasted. Very unique and delicous! Highly recommend!

Tasty wood fired pizza and pasta with many veg options and craft brew. You can get your pizza by the slice, get a pie or my personal preference for thin crust and take in sports and conversation with inside and outdoor seating if you dare in the Texas sun. Next to FC Dallas and US National Soccer Hall of Fame so there s always going to be a game on.

Our first time to the Rotolos in Frisco. We loved the one in The Colony but it closed. Our experience at the Frisco location was excellent. The food was very good and the service was great. Will definitely go back!

Absolutely Horrible. Ordered curbside pickup direct from Rotolos from their own website. Simple order with meatball sub with side salad, slice pepperoni pizza, cup basil tomato soup and Chicken Florentine calzone. We ordered straight off the menu and added Kalamata olives to the Calzone. Look at my pictures of the Calzone. We received some kind of Over Salted Spicy Meat Glob of a Calzone we could not even eat despite hunger. Not the chicken spinach, artichoke promised on the menu. This over salted horrible meat glob of unknown species caused us to make our SECOND phone call back to the restaurant to complain.....we had just called the restaurant approx 10 minutes prior as the side Salad for the meatball sub was completely forgotten off the order.

Truffle fries were sopping drowing in oil. Pizza was not even hot and they were not busy. Table and bench were dirty- crumbs, straw, sauce of some kind. Noticed even the blinds were dirty. Service was fine but we ate 2 (well, almost 2 slices, 1 each) paid and left, not worth wasting a box bc we re not gonna eat the leftovers. Left and went to another place to eat. Drink menu was a milion of the same kind of beers, spirits and wine but no cocktail offerings.

Had the most amazing experience today in the morning an hour after opening. Place was pretty busy for being so early yet only had one girl on the clock serving, Riley. So the family decided to try this place out for Fathers Day and we didn t exactly have a pleasant time. We were introduced to our experience with a server by the name of Colten who was fairly new. With him being new, we were lacking information that later cost us more money. They have a special on sundays that consist of $3 wells and $3 domestic beers. We weren t informed on what the domestic beer list was so we chose beers off of the beer list that were local or made in the US. That caused us to pay almost triple the amount that we expected for beers. We talked to Reagan, the manager, and she didn t attempt to accommodate us for the lack of information given from our server. Since we had already left, she told us there was nothing she could do. Colten definitely was trying and I am not going to hold him to a standard too outrageous due to him being new. Reagan was most disappointing because as a manager there seemed to be no remorse for one of your servers not giving full details of menu items and causing the container to pay more. At this point, we do not plan on coming back here.

Promotion, App and On-Line Order Fail - Received a Promotional email in my Inbox to Claim your 50% OFF Detroit Pizza!. However, none of the pictures or content within the email were linked to their website or their app that I have loaded on my phone. I was running errands (parked at the time) and was finally able to access the promotion info on the phone app, but it appears the promotion info was to be provided at the time of Point-of-Sale Purchase at the store as the promotion info/code was not saved to my account profile for use when I was able to complete the order on the app. I also later tried to order from my lap-top at home; however, the promotion code was not saved to my account. I have picked up pizza, entrees and appetizers to take home but ordered directly from the bar. As such, the real strategy here is for you to use their app in the restaurant, show the waiter/waitress or bar-tender the promotional code at the point of POS, which does not really allow a mobile or remote customer to easily save the promotion code via their app or on-line account (for ordering via the app or on-line at a later point-in-time, frankly the promotion code should be automatically saved to the customers account) and is a Total Fail for Mobile Customer Engagement. Rotolos needs a total revamp of their mobile promotional strategy and features, and its not like they dont have the resources in Baton Rouge for this type of support - LSU is right down the street!!!

Has sadly gone down hill. We got pizza tonight and it s so bad. The crust is hard. They left off toppings we ordered and the margarita pizza has no cheese or basil- husband got cheese fries with no cheese. I am leaving review so hopefully management sees if they don t know. Really enjoyed our first experience! We ordered take out and got truffle fries, a calzone, lasagna and cheese sticks- our palette was not disappointed. Great flavor with everything we ordered and I m obsessed with their marinara sauce! We will definitely come back.
