Terrible service, the attitude of the waitress, the smell is unpleasant, before we came often and we liked it but now the service is not what we want (the waitress changed our table because she didnt want to walk any further since she was the only one, in Our first table we chose had chewed gum, the smell was like a pipe)

I really liked my enchilada plate. The cheese is REAL cheese ( I know that some Mexican restaurants are using that weird shredded American cheese lately). I love lettuce with my enchiladas, and it actually did come with the meal. My husband said his short ribs were just OK. I think the corn tortillas seemed fresh. We liked the Margaritas.

This used to be my favorite hangout for latino flavors, music and food but the staff doesnt work for tips as far as I can tell because they dont give a fuk about your service even though you are a big tipper. Ive spent about $1000 at this restaurant and I have never had a problem with accommodations until the wait staff was under 25. They dont care about money at that age so dont let them run your business when its slow because they will run off customers because they dont want to work. The fact that the reviews are hit and miss should show that the staff is the problem with this restaurant and until they start hiring the right people they are going to suffer financially.

WOW - I really need to go through and give everyone else 4 stars just so y all know that this place is that damn good and really deserve the 5 star review! I got it Togo and kind of wish I stayed. The band was rocking Tejano Guys and it was super fast coming out with the food. Standard Mexican but cooked with care to the ingredients and a fine sense of flavor. Really I don t go to Tyler unless i HAVE TO! But this place gave me a reason to want to go! Pat yourself on the back you 3 Charritos Bro s you have some fines staff and great cooks and big smiles from everyone that came by - oh and did I mention that this was a week night at like 11:30. Just wowzers! Really!

If I could leave zero stars I would..this is not a family friendly place...it stunk of sewer when we walked in. 2 adults and 3 kids ...we were seated and then couldnt even speak to each other cause the music was so loud..did I mention the horrible smell in there..we left before our chips and salsa made it to the table. Its actually just a bar that serves food ..food that I will not eat just because if the disgusting smell in the restaurant. I will never go here again nor will I recommend anyone to go here. There are tons of other places in Tyler that out do this one by 1,000. ..nothing that comes from a restaurant that smells like that will touch my mouth. It not for families. Its was just full of drunks

Found them through the shop in the tyler travel center. Always nice, food is great, the owner ran the shop on the travel center for a while and I used to go in every day when I was working up here. Miss the food like crazy. I always get the beef fajita burrito.

Great experience! Excellent food, margaritas, & good prices. Grew up in South Texas & have been to a lot of mexican restaurants & this is at the top of the list. Lot of seafood dishes,which is rare in East Texas, beef, chicken & shrimp fajitas, and more. Fried ice cream!! You need to try it.

The service was horrible. We never got checked on for refills on our drinks. The 2 female servers never acknowledge that my kids needed knapins . My husband ordered 20 buffalo wings and only got 10 had to wait for the rest and had to take it to go. The food was very delicious but the service sucked. I usually go when the 2 males server are working. Smh this need improvement. Then i went to go pay and the 20pc buffalo wings said 15.99 on the menu but the ticket said 19.99 i didnt even catch that price till i read my receipt at home. Not sure if i am going back .

The truth is that it is a good place and good food... but the staff is disastrous, they did not treat me as it is... the workers gave more priority to the men. They were well served but not me. I was waiting more than 15 minutes for them to take me to a table while they passed the kids around...the employees were very smiling with the men and they answered me reluctantly...and She was the waitress and the one who takes you to your place... and when there was no one there they sat down and still didnt serve me.

This restaurant is a disaster, the whole place is dirty and the food was not good at all. $6.00 for 2 cans of soda and then they say you get a discount for paying cash when in reality you look at your bill and are actually charged extra for paying with cash. And they apparently do not use seasonings while cooking. The fajitas were terrible. Music was too loud to hold a conversation with my family. I cannot wait to get back to Colorado where the Mexican food is always on point. Here is your tip... learn good customer service, take a cooking class and clean your restaurant.

The restaurant didnt seem to be that busy, only about 5 tables full inside, but the people in front of us waited at the host desk for about 7 minutes before someone greeted them and sat them. Then we were there for another 6 minutes waiting while several walked by and greeted us and said someone would be right with us. Finally we were sat and she took our drink orders. Once we were able to order, we received our meals after eating 2 baskets of chips. At least our server was checking on us regularly. We had the regular quesadilla, chimichanga, and poblano chicken. All were good and hot.

I was impressed with everything our family ordered at this restaurant. Friendly service, our drinks and fresh fried corn chips with yummy homemade green and red salsas arrived quickly! My son ordered for us, this is his favorite authentic Tex-Mex restaurant. Pork in a Red Spicy gravy served with hot tortillas, rice & beans, so good! Also ordered at our table were beef tacos on corn tortillas. The beef strips were marinated so tender and full of flavor. I live in Houston & enjoy finding great food. I cant wait to enjoy this restaurant again on my next trip to Tyler, Texas!

I made a GrubHub order and was looking forward to authentic Mexican food. The delivery driver was great but the food was terrible. Not only did they get my order wrong and omitted an entire entree I was willing to let that pass but the beef on the nachos was tough and tasted old and there was only about 2 bites of shrimp. To make matters worse when I called the restaurant to report that not only did I not receive an entree but also 2 sides of rice I was met with a very rude employee. He didnt even ask my name or any information but insisted that he verified the order not only with me but with the GrubHub delivery driver. Not only did I never speak with anyone, how would the deliver driver know what I ordered. They refused a refund for items not received and insisted I was in the wrong. Same yourself the trouble. I just hope I dont get sick after eating a few bites of their food as I had to throw the rest away. Terrible food and terrible service.

The food was amazing, but the music was a bit too loud for such a small place. Other than that, I found it to be very close to the food like I have had down in south Texas close to the border. Loved the flavor, the service was great, and I think I have found me a new lunch and dinner hole when Im in the mood for Mexican food! Music good. Thats why I gave 2 stars. DJ was great. Service ok. Food so-so. Husband said his caldo looked and tasted like dirty water, there was no flavor.
