Fantastic food and service! Very attentive staff, especially Eli, our waiter. We ordered both gluten free and regular crust, both were amazing! My 2 year old grandson came with us and they brought his food out first without even asking. He devoured all of his macaroni & cheese which is rare everywhere else. Their made from scratch ranch dressing is superb. Typically homemade ranch, while very tasty, makes my grandson break out in a rash around his mouth so we had to stop giving it to him when we went out to eat. We decided to let him try Pie Tap s version, and not only did he love it, but he had no rash whatsoever when we left. We were thrilled and so was he! We will definitely be back!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust is amazing!! Made from scratch ranch dressing did not have a skin reaction with my 2 year old grandson. Kid-friendliness: Kids dinners are brought out first!

Thanks to Bruno and Destiny for reserving tables for our company lunch. We had 27 people attend our luncheon after our volunteer activity. Appetizers were already on the table when we got there and everyone enjoyed it! The staff were on top of everything and the food came out pretty quickly. Where s the food in all of these pictures because that is NOT what I paid $80 for last night. I don t know about service and atmosphere because I used door dash. It was really bad. The crust was super thin in the middle that the slice was flimsy and the toppings couldn t stay on. It was cold. Not door dash cooler, COLD. I feel disappointed and ripped off. Great ambiance. It was a spacious and well designed interiors with warm lighting which I really enjoyed. The pizza was delicious, although the charring was different than the pizzas I m used to. EDIT: They reached out to inquire about our experience and provided a gift card for it. We went back over the weekend and had a better experience. Our order was correct and the food was good. This time around we got the prosciutto pizza, spicy rigatoni vodka pasta, and a loaf of sourdough bread. Would go back! I updated my rating but left one star off for our initial experience. Definitely don t recommend. Placed an order over the phone and when we showed up they only had half of our order correct. We paid before we were given our food and when given our food we saw it wasn t what we ordered. We told them and they said we would have to wait 40+ minutes for our pizza because they were busy. When they made the mistake. The one item they got correct we tried, and it was horrible (carbonara). Threw it away and we didn t wanna wait 40 minutes in the parking lot for them to fix their mistake. Tried to dispute it because of their error and the horrible service and quality of food. They charged back the dispute so we paid for food we didn t eat and for horrible service. The host was also rude.

Pass on the food here and stick to drinks including $3 froze. If you have to order food than stick with pizza as the crust was good. Rosemary lemonade was also good. Almost every other dish failed us as to the flavor or the mold spots on the biscuits. Biscuits and gravy was one of the worse weve had, old and dry. Wishing for better.

The food and drinks are unique and delicious. Ive had brunch and dinner here. I highly recommend it. The Bloody Marys are a bit too spicy for me. The spice appears in the aftertaste. I prefer the Blackberry Smash. Dont pass up the salmon board or the goat cheese fondue.

I recently visited Pie Tap in Frisco, eating at the location, and the food was good, service was excellent! So I decided to order To-Go the other night and was pretty disappointed. I ordered a pepperoni pie, chicken parm and the Alfredo. The pizza was the saddest pie I ve ever seen. It was a little over cooked and lacked any substance. I gave three stars because my dining in experience was good and I based my to-go expectations on that experience. I ll eat there again but will probably not get take out.

The prosciutto pizza is really good, I would have preferred a little more sauce as the perimeter was a little too dry. I believe we could have asked for some dipping sauces, but our waiter didn t mention it. I just saw that on another review. The fondue with rosemary bread and pepper jam is excellent! I ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad and I was simply disappointed on the food quality compared to the other 2 restaurants I ve been before. The place seems too cramped and you definitely feel a difference atmosphere from other locations. The service was pretty good but the food quality and the atmosphere make it less pleasant thus 2 stars.

This location has awful service. My family of 4 has tried to make it our go-to pizza place on three separate occasions and the service and food wait time has been horrible every single time. Like another person mentioned in their review, the waitstaff here is too busy talking to one another to even acknowledge customers have entered. Today, we had reservations at 4:30pm - it s Sunday - must I even say, it was pretty empty in there. The entire right hand side of the restaurant was EMPTY. Today the hostess put us at the utmost corner table and no one came to greet us within 5 minutes so we walked out. Nobody even tried to stop us from leaving. I ll gladly make the drive to the Plano location from now on. From the moment we walk in at the Plano location, it s different. They give my kiddos pizza dough to play with and hand sanitizer gets brought to the table with the host. We won t be trying Frisco again.

Used to come fairly regularly when Pie Tap first opened but it had been about 6 months since we were last here. Unfortunately, its probably our last. We were disappointed to see that prices across the board have gone up while the portion sizes have been reduced. For example, the brunch breakfast sandwich used to be HUGE - great value for the money - but this last time, it was barely bigger than a breakfast sandwich we could get nearly anywhere else for half their asking price. Beyond that, what soured our opinion is Pie Tap is a part of the growing trend of restaurants that have 20% as the MINIMUM tip option. Sure, you can always do a custom tip however you are charged tableside so restaurants like this are hoping the psychological discomfort of having your waiter standing next to you will prevent you from taking more time to write out a lower tip. Pay your employees more - stop putting the responsibility on the customers, especially if theres zero change in the quality of service.

This is a fun spot for a date or to meet friends. They have great food and drinks. Our favorites are meatballs, knots, lollipop chicken wings, ANY pizza, and bolognese. I love Pie Tap and have eaten at multiple locations but don t waste your time with this location. We came in on a Thursday night at 7:45 with half of the restaurant empty. A manager walked past us 3 times, 5 different servers passed us and no one offered us waters/drinks while we waited for 15 minutes. I got up and told the hostess and still no one came to our table. The managers, waiters and hostess were too busy flirting with each other and hiding in the back to take our drink order. If you have 2-3 hours to enjoy a meal this is the place for you!

I dont eat pizza unless Im in New York or Italy. That being said, the offerings at Pie Tap blew me away, especially the bacon + egg + mushroom brunch pie. Words cannot describe the refined taste of that sourdough crust. I also recommend the house salad as a side dish. Youll thank me later. What made the experience more enjoyable was the service. The pizza is really good here! Its cooked well, and I love the sauce! Its just too expensive. My wife and I each got a pizza, and I got a Dr Pepper. The total was about $50. Also, there are no free refills. I recently ate at a different pizza place that happened to have the best pizza I have ever had in the area, got a similar order, free refills, and the total was only $37. Alrighty so let s start off with the service here. Our waiter Camron was the definition of pep in his step. I mean this man could run a 40 yard dash quicker than Xavier worthy. I mean heck, put this guy on team oomie zoomie because he was on a team that was oomie and he was ZOOOMING. Also if you want a few Dr Peppers then just go to Costco and get a soda with free refills because here there s no free refills. Even if you beat Camron in a 40 yard dash. The first time I came here the service was not good. However the owner reached out and honestly they went above and beyond to make it right. My significant other and myself went in today for Sunday brunch. Side note; their brunch is amazing. Ordered the fondue to share; their bread and jam is to die for. I believe their bread is made from the same dough as their pizza. Really, really, really good puff. My girlfriend ordered the smoked salmon pie. She had to bring some home for what she said would be breakfast tomorrow. Had to be that good. I ordered the breakfast sandwich; beware - you will not be hungry for hours! They should call it the meal for a day. LOL Nothing goes better with brunch than a mimosa and in my case also the espresso martini (signature cocktail). I am sitting at the bar with my husband as I write this. The situation here is ridiculous. The bartender Jill has a huge frown on her face and is arguing with a waiter who is obviously trying to help her. We arrived at 8:45 and both bartenders are SOLELY focused on breaking down the bar and getting out of here. After a LONG wait she finally asked us what we want to drink. I realized that we better order fast because she obviously does not want to be here. I asked if they still had the sweet potato pizza crust and she said they have never that and only have gluten free regular. Shortly after we ordered a waiter asked her a question about my order and she gave him the middle finger. Then - and this is truly ridiculous- she left the bar to sign for a food delivery - a smoothie, which she is eating in front of us. Isnt that a health code violation? The bar is an absolute disaster. There are dirty glasses everywhere. People left before we got here and their dirty plates are still on the bar top. 5 minutes have passed and the dirty glasses and plates are still there. I think the manager is staring at the TV watching a basketball game. HE IS COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS. Jill just same by to tell me that the kitchen messed up my order which she just knew they would because I ordered olive oil based sauce and mushroom pizza (which is on the menu). My husbands pizza just arrived and the plates are wet and dirty but he cleaned my plate for me. Last time we were here the bartender was amazing. I wish I could remember her name! Definitely recommend this place!! My daughter and I stopped here for a drink on a beautiful day and sat on their patio. Kristen was our waitress and wow did she go above and beyond. She told us all about the menu options and gave us recommendations on appetizers. We had the prosciutto bruschetta and it was AMAZING!! She s quite a salesperson and has convinced us to return for brunch this weekend!! I just can t say enough great things about how great Kristen was as our server and a great ambassador for Pie Tap. We frequent Pie Tap and love their food and staff. Tonight the music was SO LOUD you could barely hear yourself think. We asked them to turn it down and so did the table next to us. And at first they did and then turned it back up. Its busy and loud on a Friday, but the music made it unbearable. To the point our kids said they wanted a silent trip home and not sure the food is worth it.

Ordered a pizza (Ham and mushroom) only to find out when picking it up that they do not offer the topping I ordered (ham). Manager was friendly and offered a mis-made pizza (half pepperoni and salami with half onion bacon and mushroom with a fresh egg cracked over it for free? Breakfast pizza? The gluten free crust is good but we prefer ham and pineapple. It seems some of these joints cant stand the fact of carrying pineapple (or ham?) but can crack a raw egg onto your pizza after its cooked. Pineapple is a cheap ingredient.

This was a very nice surprise. We stopped by here, just on a whim, because we were hungry and looking for pizza. What we got was so much more than what we were expecting. First off, the service was amazing and the staff were all 10 out of 10 stars. Byron, our server was funny, charismatic, helpful, and a great server. A guy came by who I imagined is either the owner or manager, and asked if we wanted fresh Parmesan, and he meant freshly grated right in front of us. Keisha, The, mixologist/bartender, was amazing. We got the espresso martini and it was delicious. Secondly, the prices were more than reasonable for this area. Pizza was only $19 for an amazing pizza. Also, they use sourdough crust which I m a huge fan of. The martini was only five dollars. I ve never seen a martini that inexpensive, especially a quality one like this. unfortunately, we only tried a few things this time but we will definitely be back for a second trip and I ll do another more detailed review then. for now, I recommend everything we had. The prosciutto pizza and the espresso martini.

I have been a fan of Pie Tap since I tried them at the Design District which I have gone so Many times and enjoyed my self .. I am a big fan of their Prosciutto Pizza it s the best pizza I have ever had and it s just as consistent in this location. I want to give 5 stars but I can t . The customer service was amazing !!! The garlic knots honestly felt like a brick of bread it was so heavy and hard to pull apart to eat. For 10-11$ I felt it was not worth it I would have got two pizzas insted of garlic knots . But my pepperoni pizza was so good to be so basic love the fresh tomato sauce. Great pizza! Love this sourdough version. I went with the chicken pizza and added sausage and was completely satisfied and happy with my decision. My wife loved her prosciutto pizza, especially since they add the prosciutto after the pie is cooked. The daughter loved her cheese pizza. My only complaint was that the kids pizza was only 75% pizza. The last slice was all crust. I understand your dough is different, but kids are picky, and more care needs to be paid attention to on their crust as it s rising.

The Spiedini was very good. Locally smoked prosciutto wrapped around fontina cheese on a skewer. Give it a try. Two skewers. Weve ordered the salami pie delivered before and its been good. It was condiderably better hot out of the oven. The pizza dough is great. Get the dipping sauces for the crust. It is definitely worth it. We also tried the Chicken Pesto. Update: the owner very kindly reached out to see if we would be willing to give the restaurant a second try with a gift card. Unfortunately, we tried to place an order online, in the app, and through ToastTab with the code she sent, and it was not accepted anywhere online. Website said we would get $10 off if we downloaded the app and made an account, which we did. This discount code was also not accepted, and we ended up calling the restaurant, only to be told that the deal with the app was only valid on Monday and Tuesday (not explicitly said elsewhere). At this point weve wasted 30 minutes of our evening, are hungry, and are still on hold with the folks at the restaurant for 7+ minutes... Very mid. The environment was nice and the waiter we had was friendly. But honestly, for the price point, the food was very meh and the service was somewhat slow. We asked for more bread and they took super long and didn t even bring back out the same bread ? I had been wanting to try it for a while, but now that I ve had it once, I wouldn t go again unless someone else really wanted to. I should have listened to the other reviews.

I was really waiting for a new pizza spot to open here in Frisco and now we finally have it. What a great little place to enjoy delicious food. Once I got the correct order after 3 tries the food I got was amazing. I ordered the chicken meatballs with marinara sauce. It was so juicy and tender. The sauce was amazing perfect to dip the bread in when the meatballs were gone. I had a bit of an issue with my pizza but when I did finally get the right one it was very good. My friend and I had such a great happy hour here at 3pm. Pizza is only $14 during Happy Hour and they are super big and delish! The prosciutto pizza and garlic knots were so yummy! That sourdough crust is killer! Totally worth all the carbs! It was so good my friend ordered two more prosciutto pizzas to take home! The rosemary lemonade is the bomb! Our server was so sweet and generous! She gave us free sauces to dip our pizzas in. Her name was Kristi or Kristin and she had blue eyes. My friend and I stayed 3 hours just talking away even after paying and we didn t feel rushed out the door. Thank you Pie Tap! I wish there were 1/2 stars, my rating would actually be 4.5 My family and I went for the first time, we didn t have a reservation but we were sat immediately. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was fun and inviting, the drinks were tasty and the food was delicious! The pizza is brick oven so it s a thin crust which we love. The pizza came out to the table pretty quickly so we weren t hangry for not ordering appetizers. We will definitely be back because we have many more menu items to taste. Parking: The parking is in a restaurant area so many parking spots available. Kid-friendliness: We don t have little kids but there were multiple families that did and they were accommodated with high chairs.

Went here today, 12/3, and this joint is over the top legit. The best part is the GM, we got seated at the counter where they make the pizzas and their GM have my son some dough to play with, then he taught him how to spread it and put sauce and cheese on it. He then had the cooks toss it in the oven and cook it. It was an amazing experience for us and especially for our son. Best restaurant experience since ever, hands down. This is not to take away from the staff, who is incredible and friendly. I would suggest this place to anyone, anytime. Kid-friendliness: Insane awesome with kids.

A real gem in Frisco! If you have a hankering for great pizza, this is the place to go to. We had a margarita/veggie combo and a sausage/prosciutto combo. One word: Wow. We also got a starter with prosciutto and cheese and it was just heavenly! They create their pizzas with all locally sourced ingredients. And it shows. The taste is magnificent! They let the dough sit for a day or two and that lends a sort of sourdough taste which only adds to the explosion of taste in your mouth!

This was our first time trying this place and we never wanna go back. One of the worst experiences. The food is good and the ambiance is nice. But our server was in a hurry and was rushing us throughout our time there. Couple of times she asked if we are done just in 5 mins of getting our pizza while we were actually had pizza in our hands! Went here when it first opened and loved it, finally some pizza that has some fresh ingredients and an awesome menu. Sadly the kitchen never makes the pizzas the same and it is wildly inconsistent. Getting service at the bar can be comical. The last 3 to go orders were incorrect, combination of missing items and getting the order wrong. When asked to refund, they never got around to refunding the missing items to my card. This last time was our last. I asked the hostess if she checked it and was told yes... Pizza one was incorrect so they remade it while everything got cold and had to be reheated at home. The wings were the wrong flavor but didnt find out until we got home. Pizza two was burnt on the bottom and the outer 30% was crust so most of the pizzas surface area was just crust, I couldnt even get a kid that loves pizza to eat it as the remaining was mostly tomato sauce with a little cheese. To the owner who is going to ask me to email them, Ill save you the trouble: Your kitchen has no consistency standards, your front of house bagging to go orders have no system in place and not focused at all, even getting a table draws a blank stare. You have a staff and training issue...

We have been very regular customers of Pie Tap (other locations) for years. Id you like Pie Tap, do NOT come to the Frisco location. Always smells like they set 20 pies on fire with no ventilation. Overall was not that bad. Got off on the wrong foot when we were waiting to be seated. Hostess asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. She said she could seat us on the patio since all of the other tables were being held for reservations. While waiting another family walked in and they. Stated they had no reservation either. The hostess requested assistance and suddenly the family was able to be seated at a table we were told was reserved. Our patio table was still not bused. As I spoke up the manager came over apologized and got us seated. He was apologetic and came by to check in while we ate. Service good, the young lady who brought out our appetizer had good energy, joked with us. Our server was polite almost nervous, likely due to our seating experience. He was good and thorough. The food, not bad. The pizza tastes great but if you aren t a crust fan, the pizza is tiny. We ordered two large for a family of two adults and two young children. It wasn t anywhere near enough food. My 6 and 7 year olds each ate half a large pizza. I ate half of a pizza in 8 bites and was still hungry. Crust makes up over half of the size of the pizza so buyer beware, It s an $18 loaf of bread with a little sauce and cheese in the middle.

We have been to Pie Tap many times and have absolutely LOVED it (so much it s been our Friday tradition). After tonight s experience, we will not be back. Our waitress was sick and when we sat down it was very noticeable (sneezing and coughing every-time she came to our table) and she also let us know that she was sick but washing her hands often because they wouldn t send her home. We felt bad for her and just tried to be extra careful given I m pregnant. The manager ended up bringing out the pizza and we provided feedback that it was disappointing that they wouldn t send our waitress home given she sick. The manager responded blaming the waitress and never apologizing. When we looked at our pizza it had no cheese which we called out to our second waiter and he agreed. He took the pizza away to show the kitchen and we never heard back about the situation so we got our check and left. Truly disappointing experience.

So I m not a pizza lover, but this place was good. It was kinda awkward when you walk in because the seat you but there is no official greeting spot. There were a few of us there and you couldn t tell who was picking up orders and who was waiting to be sat. There were some people standing around that appeared to be able to help and did not help but I m not sure of the procedures. When we were turning to walk out the host identified herself and seated us. We were almost to the door. We stood there for 5 minutes and this was the first greeting we received. Once we were sat the service was good, pizza was delivered quickly. It was okay, it didn t make me fall I love with pizza. They had a nice selection, you aren t coming here to get a meat lovers or hamburger. The parm cheese was delicious. The ambience was very nice. The tables were comfortable and spaced out.

Impressive. I went with a friend for our weekly lunch. Pietap was different from what I expected. The menu offering is less limited than the name implies. With everything opening here, more fast food or fast-casual, I assumed this would be a similar pizza variation; what a pleasant surprise! The menu was extensive, and the food was exceptional. The restaurant is cleverly designed for efficiency and comfort. I will return often and plan to put this outstanding restaurant on our lunch rotation. Do not recommend, in house dining might be fine but take out is a mess. Online ordering was down so I had to order through Doordash. Which marks up the price. Then when I get my order they missed several items, I did not realize until I was all the way home. Visited Pie Tap last night and had a great experience for our first time visit! Our waiter was very friendly and even took his time to recommend an appetizer to us! The Fondue definitely wasn t my first choice because the description had Goat Cheese in it and I wasn t sure about it. But I decided to go off my servers recommendation and try it! It did not disappoint. At this point I want to go back just to order this as a meal. It s not the traditional fondue I m used too though. I ordered the chicken parm and it was alright. I feel it could have been plated a bit nicer. I m not a fan of the green salad looking stuff. I think it makes the plate not look as appetizing. Overall I give the restaurant a 9, and can t wait to go back and try something different! I do wish they had fountain drinks. They only have canned soda and I really wished I was asked if I wanted it poured over ice. I d rather drink it out of the can as the canned drinks seem to go flat faster when poured over ice. Decent little pizza pub. We went for late lunch early dinner and had hummus, pizza, and drinks. The service at the bar was excellent. The pizza tastes a bit like Pizzeria Testa. The hummus had a special and unique tang. Although, the bread it came with was not pita bread, but more like a roll, it tasted fine. Parking and table seating can be tough. We try to come at off hours.
