I ve ordered (DoorDash) from this restaurant twice now, and both times have been disappointing. Ordered a mutton thali, and there was no rice included. Also ordered jhol momo, and they didn t send any jhol. How am I supposed to eat it like that? This has happened twice, and it s really frustrating. I don t recommend this place at all save your time and find somewhere else.

This Nepalese restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Food was bursting with delish & flavor. Our lunch order included the BaseCamp special mutton leg soup, chilli chicken momo, chicken sekuwa and chicken chow mein. Portion sizes were big and service was quick. This it the first Nepalese place we ve found in Texas and it s by far the best we ve tried ever. The atmosphere is casual and chill and the food is SO good. We got the Momo Chicken Special, Chicken Biryani and Lamb Curry with Naan. Absolutely AMAZING. The naan and chicken biryani is some of the best I ve ever tried.

I organized my husbands 50th birthday party Everything thing was perfect- place, ppl, Food. Thank you Sam for fulfilling all my needs. Arya was awesome who helped me with drinks, food. They all went above and beyond to helps us enjoy our party. Live music and we got to sing, what more can you ask. Thanks again, we will pick this place again to organize party in future. The best part was whole first floor was reserved for us. It helped us mingle, socialize and dance without disturbing other guest in the restaurant.

We recently dined at Frisco Base Camp and had an absolutely incredible experience! The food was outstanding - we tried the Chicken Thukpa and the Base Camp Special Chicken Momos, and both dishes were bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation truly shone through. We loved every bite! The service was also top-notch, thanks to server Keshika. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot on. Frisco Base Camp has now become one of our favorite restaurants - we cant wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings. If you havent been yet, do yourself a favor and get there soon! I went to this restaurant with a small group of people. seating was prompt. The food was new to me. I enjoyed the mix took part which was a brothy soup. I wasnt sure what it would taste like when I ordered it and found it to be a delightful explosion of mild spices cooked together to make this delicious noodle soup the service was absolutely fantastic. The cuisine is novel and I had questions that the servers answered as well as offered excellent recommendations and suggestions as to what would complement another item on the menu that I was interested in. The place had live music on the night. we went after 9:30. it was an open my karaoke with a live guitar player instead of just a karaoke machine

I was so excited when I realized BaseCamp was Nepali food - not sure why I didn t make the Himalayas connection, but when I finally realized I headed over asap. The Nepali version of Tikka Masala is my favorite, and BaseCamp definitely did not disappoint. The sauce is a little brighter/more red than some others I m familiar with like Bajeko Sekuwa and Everest Grill. But the flavor is fantastic! They also have cheese naan which my kids love. So, the food is excellent and I can see this easily becoming a regular place for me. I ve only gotten to go orders so far, but it is really cool looking inside and would like to dine in one of these days too.

I had an amazing experience at Frisco BaseCamp and cannot wait to go back to dine again! We tried various food items, and I have to say, everything tasted amazing! My favorites were the chicken biryani, pork sekuwa, badel sadheko, and their jhol momo. I had their Mount Everest cocktail and this drink was both very fancy looking and incredibly tasty a must-try! We heard a lot about this new place so decided to try it with family who visited us all the way from California, only to disappoint them. It took almost 1.5 hours after placing an order to finally get some of our orders. And it was one food at a time. Out of 9 orders, we finally received one momo which all of us were fighting over for (everyone was super hungry). 15 minutes after than we get another order, and then again after 15 minutes the rest started coming in. We could not enjoy the food anymore because of the massive delay and our appetite was gone at the end. We were there to enjoy good food with good company. But it was waste of time and money as all we talked about was when will the food come. Not sure if we will be back to this place again. We normally like to try new places and support new businesses, but the place has to create that environment where people would want to come back again and again. Hope management takes this issue into consideration and work to get better for future. If the place has good service and food, people will always be back. Consider for improvement in providing good service so people would want to come back.

I really hope management takes this review with consideration. Honestly the food was good, no issue there. The atmosphere was pleasant as well, my issue is with management. It s no fun when you have to wait 1 hr 15 min (yes I counted) for your food and they literally bring out 1 jhol momo( mind you we ordered several). And then had to wait another 15-20 mins for another dish while we shared that 1jhol momo within 7 people. The sandheko bhatmas appetizer that we ordered as an appetizer to go with our beer came at the end right before our check. I mean I get it, it was a weekend, a busy night but they should be prepared. We really had a bad experience and the food which actually tasted good didn t taste good at all when you literally have to wait for your next bite cause we had to keep sharing a plate at a time. I had a rather disappointing experience. There is plenty of room for improvement, and I believe understaffing, particularly in the kitchen, was a significant issue. Our food took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive after we placed our order, and the appetizer was served after the main course. Better planning is needed for busy shifts. It was very frustrating, and I hope management hears this feedback and takes the necessary actions to improve the situation and add more staff. All the other tables around us were experiencing the same problems. Honestly I feel like I wasted my money time going there for nothing but bad experience.

Wow! I am reviewing this place for the food that I never got! We went to this place looking at the 4.8 ratings given by 95. We arrived at 7:30 PM when only 20 % to 30% of the tables occupied.. Gave our order for the appetizer and waited for an hour. My friend got her water after couple reminder to the server. After an hour , we spoke to the manager and he didn t even have the decency to speak to us and understand the matter. Had no choice but to leave.. just having a fancy menu at a good location will not do anything if you don t have service skills needed to be in this industry! I have one star otherwise the review wouldn t see the light of the day.

I dined out here twice, am gonna visit them at least once a month unless they screw up their quality Had their mutton thakkali thali, it was worth it. I had their mixed chowmein which was hands down the best desi noodles in the area. Had their jhol momos which was very good as well. The overall vibes in this place is cool, service was pleasant & helpful in case someone is not familiar with Nepali cuisine.
