A bit pricey $23 per person for the lunch menu. Dinner menu is $35 a person. This does not include any drinks. Food is tasty. They will bring you a small ice cream with a candle in it for your birthday.

This is the WORST restaurant to go to. As soon as we got there, all the staffed stood around and stared, Im guessing because of our skin color. The waiter was very aggressive and rude, she slammed plates down, rolled her eyes, when we was not ready to order, and never greeted us when we were sat. The bus girl removed plates without asking if we were done, which led to us not finishing our food. The guy cooking our food was nice but not entertaining at all. He burned our eggs, zucchini, and over cooked our chicken, which made the chicken dry and not enjoyable. They are not good with portion size, AT ALL. The 2 sauces, that are given, were DISGUSTING! When it was time to pay and go, the waiter suddenly opened her mouth to actually say one word to us, as if she was not rude the entire time. They over charged us on food(which had to be corrected). I will NOT recommend this place to anybody.

Went here for my daughter s 18th & 20th birthdays and loved both experiences. The staff and chef were amazing hosts. They accommodated our birthday party by letting us bring in our gifts and cake we bought elsewhere. They surprised my daughter with our cake and sang her happy birthday. Very lovely people and I hope they read this some day. Thank you for being such awesome human beings. Special shout out to Pancho, our chef! Amazing filet mignon, fish, rice, veggies, etc.! They are also kid and baby friendly

The service from the waitstaff and chef was great. However, the food was not seasoned well at all. The softshell crab tasted old and fishy. The chicken nugget app was overcooked. The hibachi meal was fun but the steak and chicken were bland. The soup tasted and looked like hot water with 2-3 mushroom slices in it. All in all I spend about $250 for my wife, me, and 4 young kids. The kids didnt eat much as they really didnt like any of it. I ate mine but it wasnt great. If you remember the old kobe steakhouse in Addison this is a far cry from that. I would recommend going to binehana instead of this place.

I went there for a 18th birthday party with 5 people. Was told there was going to be a 25 min wait. We waited to get seated while people who just walked in get seated immediately. Then proceeded to wait another hour just for them to start cooking and we ended up having to leave because we have reservations for somewhere else also. Then when brought up to the service person was given attitude. The service her is not great at all and seems like nobody knows how to seat people.

Said they had to fill table. Meanwhile just Sat there. No service! Supposed Manager said server was new. This is horrific. Fix this immediately. Food was cooking before any appetizer. Chef said he was rushed. Ruined my anniversary lunch.

If you want a good hibachi dinner, go anywhere else. I hate leaving bad reviews for places, Im the type that will only get on Google to rave about a place that I think deserves 5 stars, but I have to make an exception for Jinbeh... Ive eaten here a few times over the last few years, the food is ok, no real complaints with service by the cooks or wait staff, but I do have a BIG problem with the management. I bought my friend a gift card ($50) a little over a year ago because I knew he liked the the place. Hes a busy guy (doctor) and has two young kids... doesnt get too many date nights with his wife. Well, apparently the gift cards here expire in 365 days, because my friend went in to use the gift card and not only did they tell him that it expired, but they also ripped it up. It was about 2 months past the expiration date. I gave them $50 CASH and we got NOTHING in return. Sure, I can accept that maybe it did state an expiration date, and that he should have made a better effort to use it sooner. But this is NOT a coupon, or Groupon, or whatever. This was a gift card that I paid CASH for. For them to not accept it (which in many states is actually illegal, but not Texas) is just HORRIBLE BUSINESS. I will never go back.

Gill was our cook tonight and he was the best we have ever experienced! The food was wonderful and cooked to our liking. The only downside was the amount of lingering smoke in the room from the grills. This was my first time seeing the venting on the grill top versus overhead. It seemed that the overhead system is more efficient for removing the amount of smoke produced from many grills in this restaurant.

Then when she brought me the menu she literally told me I couldnt add anything to my order. I was in shock because I came we came here to eat. The guy that cooked our food was kind but he had no excitement for what he was doing. Just a very very bad experience. I was very disappointed.

Jinbeh is, unfortunately, going downhill, it seems. We LOVE the flavors of Jinbeh. Our last several visits, however, have left us underwhelmed. Tonight, I bit into one of my shrimp, and it still had the outer casing on it. Not great. The steak was a little overcooked, as it has been the last several visits. The flavors were all there and wonderful...but the lack of service and attention to detail is killing it for me. We were almost halfway through our main course before they ever removed our salad and soup bowls. As you know, it can get quite crowded, so they tend to remove them immediately. That was not the case tonight. I thought I was either going to have to leave my leftover fried rice (practically gold) or stand up screaming and waving my arms to flag someone down for a to-go box. No one offered any boxes, so after they got the check, we never saw them again. Overall, their traditional garlic butter flavor that theyre known for is still there, but the consistency, quality, and service has been going downhill. We will continue to give it a try in hopes that it can pull itself out of its rut, but not for too much longer.

Went to have a nice dinner on a Saturday night and we were met with a loud, rude, rambunctious man. This man set next to us the whole time yelling and screaming and trying to buy underage girls drinks. We tried to received compensation and were thrown to the side even though we felt uncomfortable and did not enjoy our meal. The manager only seemed to step in once and ask him to quiet down, but this went on for about an hour. As an establishment y all should be able to handle this situation in a better manner and make sure your surrounding guest are satisfied with the meal.

I usually get the veggie option and it s really well prepared, the chefs are charismatic and fun to watch. Overall it s a great place if you re looking for fresh, well priced Japanese style food. Can t speak much to the drinks / sushi as I dont get those but the actual dine in experience is great Vegetarian options: There s fried rice (with egg) and veggies - the portion they give you for veggies is good and the price is reasonable, the rest of the menu is pretty meat heavy

This place has gone downhill. The staff are very friendly and attentive. However, the vents don t work well, so it s completely smokey in the hibachi area. The Korokke appetizer is supposed to be fried potato with vegetables and meat. It was just fried mashed potatoes, no vegetables whatsoever and about 5 tiny, tiny specks of ground beef (and I mean tiny). The calamari was soggy and the batter wouldn t stick to it. The fried rice had two specks of carrots but no other veggies. I understand everybody has to cut back on expenditures, but frozen veggies aren t that expensive. The meat tasted really good, but at $40+ per person, I expected a lot more.

Despite the upselling by the saleswoman when I placed my order, the experience at this restaurant left much to be desired. Our vegetarian dish, although ordered as such, surprisingly included two shrimps, making it unsuitable for our vegetarian friends. To make matters worse, they forgot to serve the white rice. The chicken dish, priced at $25 or more, was only passable in taste due to the subpar chicken quality. At that price point, one would expect a much more delightful culinary experience.

If you are interested in the hibachi experience for a birthday, date, or any other special occasion please skip this place. The chef did not engage with the table and did not provide an exceptional experience even though a reservation was made in advance and the restaurant was informed it was a special occasion. The food was tasty and the drink selection is limited. If youre looking for a quick meal this is a decent place but would not recommend this place for a special occasion.

What a DISAPPOINTING birthday experience. I brought my family here thinking we could give a different Hibachi place a try thats not Benihana but we picked the wrong date to try and experiment with a new location. The head chef didn t say a word to us. A two second fire train was done, no sounds, no ambient music, SILENCE. Literally 30 seconds of flipping spatulas initially and done. Gave us our mediocre food and left. The servers are so soft spoken and try to upsell you WAY too hard. We ordered 4 entrees for our table of 8 and by the end we were FULL but they wanted us to each order an entree basically. If you want an actual EXPERIENCE dinner. Do NOT come here. Stick to Benihana s. When we brought this up with the manager, the woman basically said oh well tough luck. $238 wasted here. Could not be given a discount and wasn t even offered a birthday dessert. ACTUALLY we paid for the imperial course for two which INCLUDES a dessert and we did not receive a dessert. HORRIBLE.

This place used to be nice about a decade ago, but whoever owns this place now is trying to run it into the ground. Paint-bucket trash can in the entrance, tables with faded lamination that look like they were original to the restaurant when it was built 10+ years ago, and the centerpiece booth in the restaurant bar area that has been converted into a mini-storage/workstation dont exactly scream high-quality. To prove that the lack of attention to detail is not just visual, we were treated our last visit to Tejano music blaring from the kitchen as part of the Asian ambience. The bottom line is that some owners tend to believe that cheap/cutting corners = good management even though the most casual observer can see that it drives away business. To be fair, this list of novice management missteps is a tragic black mark on the otherwise impeccable service provided by the waitstaff and chefs. Unfortunately, there is too much competition in this space to wait for better ownership, and you might consider looking at other reviews here that call out the ownership as well. Sayonara, Jinbeh!

Sad to say, that after dining here for 17 years, will not ever go back - solely because of the ownership. We arrived at 6:45pm on a Tuesday, and did not receive our food until 8:00pm. Found that there is not a manager, ever. That they are short staffed due to ownerships failure to hire and staff. Asked for a discount due to delay in receiving food, hostess said had to call owner which they did, and owner said no discount. Staff (hostess, chefs, waiters) completely left to the whims of customers and themselves. Recommend Benihana or any other Hibachi.

The scallops deserve a special mention, they were tender and juicy, I m not a big fan of scallops as they don t taste great if they re even slightly over cooked, but here they were perfect! The california roll, filets, and lobster tails were great, but the fried rice was pretty bland. I had a lot of patches of just white rice that was unseasoned. Lastly, whatever you do just do not get the ice cream. We decided to try the matcha ice cream and it was really just not good so we asked to try the red bean because the texture of the first ice cream was terrible, however, the second ice cream came out the same. We tried it and didn t touch it afterwards. It has a dryish, pasty consistency. Nothing like regular ice cream and did not taste great. If you choose to get dessert then definitely opt for something else.

The quality of food at Jinbeh is always impeccable. Service is friendly and prompt. Hibachi performances are always a delight to watch, comical and awe-inspiring. Hands down my favorite hibachi restaurant. Most recently, I went with a friend who has a mushroom allergy. The server and cook were both very accommodating, of course. My friend was impressed with Jinbehs attentiveness, because she always has to remind the staff at a competitor restaurant not to cross-contaminate the utensils because of the severity of the allergy. She was happy to not be afraid to eat and not having to micromanage the staff over it. One photo is of the Grilled Salmon (minus the mushrooms), and the other photo is of the Grilled Mahi-mahi meal. They were both exquisite! Jinbeh is a win-win from this duo Dietary restrictions: The staff was very accommodating when it came to my friends mushroom allergy.

Very poor customer service and they do not look to rectify. Was told it was busy so wait 25 mins. After 30 minutes I drive up to the location. Once I got there I received a phone call and they said it s gonna be another 30 minutes. Non apologetic and not looking to do anything for the customer after having them inconvenienced. They used the excuse it was busy but when I made the order I was told it was busy and had a longer pick up time so it wasn t something new. Went inside and they told me it s not even started yet and my option was to wait or cancel the order . Easy decision to cancel an order that hasn t been even started yet. They have no respect for customers and laughed about it

Ended up canceling the order all together because when the manager went back to check on the food he came back and let me know it hadn t even been started!! 40 MINUTES AFTER ORDERING. Do not order to go good here unless you want to wait over an hour on a TUESDAY! Outrageous. And thestaff, worthless.

Best hibachi! The fried rice and teriyaki chicken had so much flavor, the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The California roll was very fresh and flavorful. Yellowtail Sashimi was sliced a bit too thick for me; however, the quality was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The staff was respectful and attentive, my glass was always full. 10/10

I love the food at this place, and overall the place is clean, but theres this one particular waitress with glasses & gloves, who isnt really attentive & is a bit rude every time we go there, and seems to not want us there, as we got her every time we went there the past few times as well. Not sure what her name is, but she also takes plates away, even if theres still food left, like I had the really amazing clear soup, and i had to run to the restroom, and I went back to my table, and the soup was gone. She also never says youre welcome when you say thank you, doesnt matter how loud you say it, she just walks away with annoyance.

$226.41 total for 5 people. We all got hibachi. The server was nice and very welcoming. We sat down and everything went well until we had received our food. The fried rice was ok, but the vegetables and sprouts were un seasoned. The steak (which we all had and asked for medium rare for all), had teriyaki sauce so that was seasoned. The worst thing about the steak, was that the bigger pieces were raw. Yes, you read that right. Raw. (Please see the picture below). The steak was not cooked long enough. The people I was eating with and I were only able to eat the small pieces. We took the bigger pieces home in a to-go box to cook it ourselves so we wouldnt get risk salmonella poisoning. Another thing I would like to add, is that they had no vents above the grills, the whole room (and that was a reasonably big room) was filled with smoke. My eyes, and others around me, were watering. We were coughing, there was pressure on our chest, and we were eager to get the check. The chef/cook was also not entertaining and energetic as the previous hibachi resturants Ive been to. The service was also very slow and they also forgot parts of our order.

Update: In response to Jinbeh management - No, the 2 meals did NOT include a drink, nor fried rice (extra charge). My NY strip steak was gristly and flavorless. The meal included broth soup and a lettuce leaf salad, but I wouldnt recommend either of these. Regarding portions, the quantity of meat and veggies for a price near $30 was not acceptable. Dont believe me? Read some of the other reviews. There are too many good Japanese restaurants in DFW to waste your time and money here. These problems could easily be solved, but the Management would rather be combative, than productive and profitable. ------ Horrible experience. We were charged an extra $10 for 2 portions of rice. What hibachi doesnt come with rice? 1 zucchini, 1 small onion, and a pile of bean sprouts were split among 5 adults. 1 NY strip steak was cut into 3 servings for 3 adults. Ordered mine medium and was given well done. No hibachi show at all, just a straight forward cook and serve. The vegetable tempura was good and a fair price, also ordered 1 California roll for $8.50, which was fresh, but the smallest roll Ive gotten anywhere. It was the width of my thumb. We walked out with a $100 Bill for our LUNCH not even dinner. I understand prices for everything are going up, but this was ridiculous. We left hungry. To make things worse, this was an anniversary lunch, I left very disappointed. My wife spoke with the management, but she was very rude, unapologetic, and dismissive. Dont waste your money or time here.

Overall our lunch was pretty good. Really enjoyed the soup and salad, some of the best soup Ive tasted at a place like this in Texas...ever. Rice was good and hot, they put it in a bowl, so it stays hot. However it was a touch bland. Steaks were cooked correctly, I found the chicken to be a tad dry, but still good. Vegetables were sort of boring, zucchini and onions, meh. At the very end he offered bean sprouts that were tossed on the grill for about 10 seconds. This is not a place for a show, he did a quick train with onions and that was it. Our server was good, kept drinks filled, but if she ever spoke I never heard her. It wasnt loud in the restaurant, I just think she never said anything or at least spoke so softly I (we, my husband, son and his fiancé) never heard her speak. My two reason for an overall 4 star rating are 1-We were packed at the table tighter than a container of sardines, Im talking I couldnt even lift my elbows after my husband tried to give me a little more room. It was ridiculous. And 2-The server came around shoving to go boxes at us less than 30 seconds after the chef was done cooking. Im still eating, Ill probably want one but not now. My son took two and I ended up holding a to go box while I was trying to eat. I guess I could have put it on the grill, maybe that would teach them not to rush people. That was the biggest annoyance of the entire meal. If I had been in charge of paying the bill the tip would have been smaller because of the rushing us to box up our food and go. Will I go back? If ever down in the area with the family and get hungry for that type food, maybe. But I will certainly tell the server to take that to go box and go...

We were in town for World Series little league..we had 15 in our group and showed up and hour and a half before they closed. They sat us and then told us they could only split the check 3 ways..then told us we could only order certain items. After asking them to split the checks in more ways since we were 5 families they gave attitude but let us split them. They didn t give a show they just cooked the food and cleaned up fast..then sat there against the wall right next to us and were staring at us like Hurry up it was very rude. We were the last ones in there and didn t even get asked if we needed refills. Then they picked up our plates when we weren t even finished. It was a very bad experience and it was sad because the 4 families with us had never been before. I would definitely go to one of the other 2 hibachi restaurants!

I usually love this place because it s been special for me and my boyfriend to come on dates here. But today I had such a bad experience that it has discredited my few other good ones. I had food on the outside of my glass and my silverware that I was given had something dirty on it like dried up onions. I made the server aware of the issue and asked for a new water and silverware only for the second cup of water to also come back dirty. Our server was inattentive and rude. Worst of all, we waited 55 minutes to even receive service. This was a horrible experience and I do not recommend coming here.

We were terribly disappointed with our experience at Jinbeh. Our waitress seemed to be upset with our presence from the beginning. She was terribly rude to all in our party that ask her a question and seemed put out with us because we wanted to order appetizers before the main course. She rushed us through the whole meal and brought out to go boxes while we were eating and then , because we had requested a birthday dessert , she brought out a dish of ice cream with a lit candle while we were still eating our entrees. Following that she brought out all of our checks before we were finished with the entrees. Once she had processed our credit cards, she never returned. The restaurant was not crowded and there was no wait to be seated. I m sorry to say we won t be returning to Jinbeh and I doubt any of the people in our party will return either. It was a disappointing birthday dinner for my husband.

Pretty horrible experience. No greeting when we walked in the door. Our waitress barely even spoke to us. She took my soup away even though I wasn t done with it (couldn t have told her I wasn t finished because she had already stuck her gloved thumb in it). A/C was non-existent on an 80° day- sitting inches away from a 500° hibachi grill. Asked if it was normal to be that hot, and the lady I asked just walked away without saying anything. No interaction from the chef at all. Just cooked and left. Also didn t even turn the exhaust fan on until nearly done cooking so our clothes reek of smoke. Outrageously absurd price of food. This is a makeshift Benihana.

Our servers were friendly and the people in our dinner area were fun to dine with. The hibachi preparer was funny and did fun tricks when preparing the food. The appetizers before dinner (soup and salad) was good. I ordered the salmon hibachi dinner. The food was well prepared and I had leftovers as the serving size was plentiful.

Hibachi was not well cleaned with grains of rice still sticking to the sides when we sat down. Everything is an up-charge ($4 extra for fried rice, $3 extra if a steak fried rice meal is actually eaten as an entree - which is exactly how a child would eat it). No kids menus and very few items for kids to choose. Lunch prices were as high as dinner. Raw meat was stacked on plastic trays, so the bottoms of the trays above were tainted with raw meat and then placed on the same rolling cart that is reused and not cleaned between meals. This place is a health hazard, and had terrible service as well. Do not recommend.
