Man this hotel needs a DEEP cleaning. Probably one of the dirtiest hotels I ve stayed at in a long time. Not sure why someone wouldn t hire a decent cleaning staff to upkeep such a large asset built on cleanliness.

Unfortunately we didnt read recent reviews before booking a room at this hotel. Upon arrival the lobby was very clean, smelled nice and the front desk staff were very nice. As soon as we got off the elevator on the 3rd floor it smelled like moldy cigars. We entered the room #317 and immediately found a cockroach on the floor. The room also smelled like mildew and what appeared to be mold on the ac and there was food on the floor. Informed the front desk and said they would put a note on the account about the room. Went back to the room and watched 2 more cockroaches come out of the AC. And other bugs were crawling on the wall. Asked to change rooms and were told we couldnt because all rooms were booked. So we called another hotel, returned our key cards to the front desk and asked for a refund which we did receive.

I don t know where to start, the lobby is very nice. The hallways smells like mildew. Dirty carpet in the hallway. I have stayed here several times within a month. Each room I stayed in smells horrible, the carpet filthy, trash behind the beds. It s very noisy on all floors. My daughter was bitten by bedbugs please don t waste your money at this ghetto hotel If anyone giving this hotel a 4 or 5 star got to be an employee for the company or someone that don t care about filth

I stayed for a total of seven days. Breakfast was great. Staff was wonderful and the location was perfect to be able to get to any restaurants Walmart,H-E-B Fast food and again, everyone was pleasant Nearby activities: I went to visit my family that had just moved To Frisco, they do play soccer and they have their training facility and everything is right there located by La Quinta so it was super convenient

Booked for two nights to attend an expo going on over the weekend. Pros - General location is good, not noisy or extremely busy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was decent. The first night room was great, clean, bed was comfortable as well as our second room we ended up with. Third floor smells a lot better coming off the elevator. Cons- the smell on the second floor is uninviting as soon as you get off the elevator. The second day staying, it went downhill. We lost power to our room about 8:30am. Told front desk, they fixed it, it wasn t a huge deal we were going to be gone all day. Got back and someone had turned our ac off, which after being outside and doing a lot of walking it was hot coming into the room. Then about 12:30 (midnightish) our power went out again. Front desk accommodated and moved us to another room but, that also meant us packing everything up, and carrying up to the third floor at 1am. They did comp us a room because of the power issue even though their maintenance guys said we had too many things plugged (we had two phone chargers plugged in, bathroom light on, tv going and a/c on) so room 204 just has some bad breakers. We would recommend this as a place to stay even with the hiccups we had.

We ve stayed here once before & our stay was excellent! Room clean, quiet, spacious, bed was comfortable. Top notch condition. But this second time around, we stayed on the second floor. Bed would creak if you were laying on the left side, bed mattress very uncomfortable, but most of all it was the morning shower I took. Glass door would not close while showering. Total nightmare.

Upon arriving my initial thoughts are the location is great and super close to the Toyota stadium and soccer fields. The front desk guy was super nice. Lobby looks nice. Moving on to room.. hallways were pretty warm. Room AC worked good. Lighting is very dingy in the room. Bug crawling on our bed. Carpets need a deep clean. So much junk & crumbs around walls. Open candy behind our bed. Bathroom was pretty clean. Moving on to breakfast.. they had eggs that had many dry hard parts and so plain, potatoes, sausage links, cereal, fruit, Waffles (pretty good), chocolate muffins (also pretty good). While the hotel wasn t super awful I probably wouldnt come back again. Everything felt like it needed a deep clean. Rooms: Bug crawling on bed. Stains on bedding. Carpet needs deep clean. Crumbs and junk bordering all the walls. Open candy behind our bed.

Never stayed at a La Quinta figured this one looks new it s in a nice location should be good and not at all! Checked in and checked out same night! Found a ROACH on the door inside as soon I got in the room found another one in the bathroom and another by the TV! Hair in the shower, on one of the beds, in a towel! This hotel was a nightmare didn t leave fast enough! Told front desk we re not staying gave him keys and he just said ok didn t ask why nothing! Money down the drain but you can t put a price on cleanliness and comfort.

A perfect example of great customer service and genuine. Great Hire Laquinta Inn and Suites Frisco Fieldhouse! 5 stars for all 3 amazing employees! 1st Updated Review. I also wanted to say Laquinta Inn and Suites in Frisco you also have an amazing asset with your Employee Collins. He has also helped me tremendously by helping me get set up with rewards, room service, and much more. I have to say 5 stars all around for Collins as well, and thank you for all of your help and amazing customer service Collins. Ihave been staying here for a little over a week. Simeon Harris has helped more than I can say. The best service and he genuinely cares and took care of anything I needed taken care of. Laquinta Inn & Suites Frisco Fieldhouse, this gentleman is a huge asset. Seriously one of the reasons I kept staying. Super clean, beautiful spacious room. Great quality pillows, the bed was super comfortable and had good quality sheets and a nice thick comforter. The towels were very quality. Very quiet in the room with minimal hallway noises. Air conditioner worked great and kept the room super cool. I would highly recommend this facility. The parking lot was very well lit and clean. Rooms: This location was very safe feeling with great eateries close by. And it was super close to our venue we went to for a concert. Nearby activities: Concert venues, great restaurants, easy access to the highway. Safety: Parking lot was very well lit and clean. Walkability: Restaurants within walking distance. Food and drinks: Several bars within a ten minute drive, with good food choices Noteworthy details: Newer facility and super clean and well kept. I will return and I highly recommend.

I have had to stay at this location multiple times this year due to various reasons and I knew when I had to choose a hotel to stay at for an extended period of time recently, this specific location was where I wanted to go with the main reason being the above average experience I have had and continue to have with the staff. Specifically the front desk professionals Simeon and Collins. Not only do they constantly have a smile on their face with a positive and professional demeanor, they go above and beyond for each and every hotel guest as I have seen them interact with many throughout the length of my stay here. They always provide prompt resolution if any issues ever arise, always know the answer to any question a hotel guest might have and are especially good at handling any type of hotel guest concerns. Needless to say, although I do love the La Quinta brand of hotels by Wyndham, I have chosen to stay at and will continue to choose to stay at this specific location due to these two individuals. It really and truly makes a difference when there are people who elevate the experience you have at any business but this is especially true in the hotel industry, particularly when you have to be there for a lengthy stay.

Pretty good for the most part. Check it was fast and simple. Room was clean. Pool was clean. Elevators and halls were clean. Staff constantly cleaning. Breakfast was hot and always full. It was late and I booked a non refundable room. I m in FRISCO everything is beautiful in Frisco. Except this hotel. 1. ENTRANCE: SMELLS. 2. ROOM: HAIR through out the bed sheets, sink and shower. They were all different strands of hair and colors. 3. BED: HARD like lying down on a wooden plank. I explained the situation to the front desk and he said that all of the housekeeping had already gone home and that he would bring up some sheets for me to make up my own bed. I explained that I had been moving all day and that I didn t think it was really good customer service for me to make up my own bed after finding hair throughout the room. He offered me some complementary snacks. I asked for the manager and I was given the business cards of both the general manager and the assistant general manager. I emailed them both right away and 24 hours later I have not heard from either of them. The morning of check out I requested a late check out and was granted one by the front desk clerk. This was nice of her. She stated that the manager was going to contact me soon and was fully aware of the situation and had received the email. I have yet to receive any feedback .

The hall carpets are filthy and the sheets in the room had crumbs in the bed. I asked for no feather bedding because I am severely allergic. Of course all the pillows were feather. For 3 days I asked for allergenic pillows and was told they would find some ...never happened. After going without, I went to Walmart and bought my own. This is NOT worth a 140.00 per night. The service was terrible.

We love the location within walking distance to the soccer stadium. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The pool was great. The breakfast was also very good. The bed was really too soft for my liking, but it wasn t a deal breaker. The walls do seem thin. We could hear the person upstairs walking around and our neighbors talking. None of them being excessively loud, we could just hear them, even when we tried to go to sleep. The eating space is awkward as the tables are too short. But it s a great space for relaxing and socializing.

We stayed in the Fairfield last night for $40 cheaper and it was way better. This hotel was so loud. We could hear every move the people above us made . The lady at checkin would rather be on her phone laughing than help us get checked in . We stayed at this location for 3 nights and had the best care possible. Simeon, Loren were amazing hosts (there was a female but didnt get her name) all were helpful and very friendly. They offered selections of places to eat and things to do. This hotel is super convenient and close to a variety of stores and restaurants. The hotel was so quiet even with an international soccer team here. I will definitely stay here again! One draw back is that the desk in our room probably should have a lamp. But overall 10/10!

Rooms are nice and they have movie channels. Cannot tell you how many times I have gone to check out and there is no one at the front desk and no where to be found. One time a member of the cleaning staff came out but could not speak English. I then have to call later and get my receipt emailed. Huge pain. Breakfast is ok unless you eat it every week.

This hotel is ghetto!! Watch your booking and beware they will change your rate after you have booked and not even give you the room you book. Staff never answered the phone. Smells like Marijuana. Walls so thin you can hear everything. Dogs barking kids screaming . Its a nightmare. Dont even try to sit out by gazebo. Dog poop every inch of the area! Collins is only good staff there. If you are looking for a quiet hotel, look further! Lets start with crying babies, loud people and barking dogs.....all this heard while we are in our room. Thin walls and no soundproofing (or not enough)....this was the first night, not looking forward to this weekend if we make it that long. We were placed on the fifth floor which we were told was the quietest because of the amount of construction workers staying at the hotel. Update, it only got worse so we checked out early and found a new place for the remainder of the trip. Room was nice but that was it.

Hotel and the rooms were nice but we had two issues while we were there. We were put into a room and when we attempted to shower, the tub wouldnt drain. The sink was also draining very slowely. I called the front desk and was told I would have to wait until the morning for maintenance to come fix. I explained I would be checking out in the morning so that was not an option. I was moved to another room, smaller, but still nice. The issue we had here were roaches. I killed one as we were settling into our room but couldnt catch the two which greated us the next morning. I mentioned to the desk staff and they appeared shocked and mentioned they had a service. I explained I understood but there seems to be an issue still. They were apologetic but nothing more. One final note were the walls were paper thin and we could hear the people in the adjoing rooms and halls. Had to listen to a dog bark in the hall for a while. We turned the fan to the on postion so it ran all night to cover the noise. Overall, not the type of experience I expected for paying over $100 for a room. In my opinion, the LaQuinta Inn chain is dragging the Wyndam franchise down. This is not our first bad experience with the LaQuinta Inn chain but will be our last for sure.

Checked in at 3:45. Walking in the door of Room 210, a strong smell of sewage hit me in the face. After getting settled in, the room directly above me sounded as if there was a NBA game was being played on the 3rd floor. Went on for hours. Unable to sleep due to the stinch AND the NBA game above me, I packed up and left. As I entered the hallway while leaving, there was a wave of ganja I had to walk thru to get to the elevator. The guy at the front desk apologized when I turned in the key at 10 pm. He was very nice and pleasant. Very unimpressed with this FRISCO establishment!

We stayed here over the weekend and booked an accessible room. The room was absolutely not accessible for someone in a wheelchair. No bench in the shower/bath or even a handheld to shower with. Towels or shampoo were never replaced our whole stay and we were there 3 nights. The bathroom was very dirty and looked like it hadn t been properly cleaned. We also had no hair dryer available. As other reviews have said, walls are paper thing. We could hear the TV next to us in the middle of the night. No one at check in gave us any info, such as breakfast times or where the elevator was. 100% would not recommend. We won t be back.

Came up for a football bowl game. This hotel is one that I get points with and its close to the stadium. Within walking distance maybe 3 to 4 minutes. Very large and clean location overall. Workers were always cleaning up. Good size parking lot. Breakfast gives you a lot of choices. Gravy and biscuits, eggs, bacon, waffle maker, and all the other things that normally come with a good breakfast. Lots of seating out in the lobby area to eat your breakfast. Room is very spacious. The best thing about it is its an oversized room with a bed on one side and a sitting room in the other side. And it came with two tvs, one in each area. Bathroom was a decent size. It was a shower only no bathtub. There was also a refrigerator in the room little mini fridge. Not really near any place within walking distance to eat. But there are several good restaurants within 3 to 5 minutes drive. Also a pool, weight room and meeting rooms on site. Overall a nice day I would certainly stay here again and would recommend the same

BEDBUGS, Beware! We stayed 3 nights in room 211. My wife has bug bites all over, the sheets have bedbug stains, and we found a bedbug on the mattress. The worst part is that the Manager refuses to make it right and will not issue a refund. She said the room was inspected when we left, but she took the day off, so how would she even know. We have to quarantine our clothes and even wash our travel bags because this hotel has bedbugs. DO NOT get a room here, the beds are buggy and they will not make it right, even if you offer photos of proof. Its gross and not right.

Room next to us is smoking weed and sets off alarm at 6 am. Hallways reeks of mirijuana. Fire alarm continues to go off which makes sleep impossible. I was really disappointed with the service. We stayed at the hotel for three nights, and not the first time in this chain. It was clean and tidy at the beginning. But of the three days, only one bed of two was made on one day. On the other two not at all. Nevertheless, we noticed that there were people in the room because, for example, the towels were replenished. The other was. When the toilet paper ran out. I asked for new ones. But there was none in stock. They promised to refill it later. That was in the morning. When we came back in the evening there was still none. I asked again. They promised to bring some over. But the next day afternoon there was still nothing there. I would have expected a really different service. And that you dont get toilet paper is not possible. Therefore two stars. Our only complaint is that the walls are so thin, we could hear our neighbor pretty clearly and the phone call they took at 6 a.m.. I stayed here for a few days and from check in it was a problem!!!!!! First of all the person who checked me in didn t even tell me half of the basic things like where is elevator breakfast time or anything first room I got in smell like straight sewer, and had to move to another room. They NEVERRRRRRRR answer the phone. I ve been trying to get in touch with a manager from this location about a refund that I never got!!! The manager won t respond to me the email she said that she sent to me I never got never got any money back they have roaches the amenities weren t even useable I ask for towels they never gave them to me. I had to clean the room myself just to be comfortable and they re not doing nothing about it! They have ROACHES so I had to wash my stuff and make sure nothing was in my bags! IDK WHO is reviewing this hotel but it must be construction workers who worked all day just looking for a hot shower and meal because this place is a dump! Never got my issue resolved!

The walls are paper thin. I could hear conversations word for word. The breakfast was good, the back door was propped open with a towel, and it s not on John W Elliott it s really on corporate Boulevard. And you cannot see it from John Elliot Avenue. Excellent location. Nice large rooms that are clean and well kept. The morning staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The after hours staff was hard to find. Overall the location is perfect tou are in the center of it all. Parking is plentiful and well lite. Prices are excellent compared to surrounding hotels. The breakfast was done well. I high recommended staying here while in Frisco. Nearby activities: Near the FC Soccer stadium and the Toyota Center. Dirty hallway carpets and paper-thin walls, this is the place you pick if location and price are the most important factors. Rooms were huge with two TVs and comfortable beds, but our floor had at minimum two dogs across the hall and three unruly kids next door. Ive never had any issue with noise in a hotel, but there were a couple of nights last week where settling down early (9pm) was impossible because the kids riled up each other who in turn riled up the dogs. We ended up just putting on a white noise YouTube channel on the TV and turning off the backlight/brightness to get some sleep. Its a nice hotel at a great price, but if its a busy week, you might have a bad time. Nearby activities: Right next to a movie theater and all the north Texas soccer stuff you could possibly want.

OUR CAR WAS STOLLEN from this location front row parking with ZERO surveillance from the hotel. We stay at this hotel once a month for work we have stayed here roughly 7 times in the past 10 months. We have always had a great experience, very friendly staff and accommodations for travelers with pets but on 10/1 at 4 am our car was stollen from the parking lot. The hotel had no footage of the crime. We luckily connected with someone who was able to capture the crime near by. The car jackers pulled up at 4:01 am and were taking off in our vehicle at 4:06 am.The alarm went off 3 times. The 2 ladies at the front desk were amazing but when I asked management if they found anything it was simply a sorry, no. After talking to officers this is happening often in this area and this is not the first time at this hotel. Hopefully they will update their security not only for the safety of the employees but the safety of guests and their belongings

Everything give stars except no water pressure. Value priced hotel that is super clean and staff is super nice, but there is so little water pressure that it is difficult to take a shower. Head was not adjustable, and there is also very very little pressure out of the faucet. Lots of kids, nice kids in the lobby as youd expect in a hotel in this price range. So, to be clear, it was a great stay, but sure wish it had better water pressure, but Ill take that every day with a staff and hotel that is this well run. Food and drinks: Plenty of retail and restaurants in the area, just to the west.

Long check in process. Too tired to wait. Staff did not know how to remove certain fees without management involved. Then going up to the room, we spotted unsanitary condition- floor not vacuumed in the hall, suite couch and bathtub stains. The smell is strong- mixture of musty and disinfectant trying to cover up the cigarette odo. The room is dank and dim. I wasn t pleased with the choice. Booked for three nights and immediately want to cancel the 3rd night but the hotel said no regardless of cancellation being over 48 hours. I wish I had booked a nicer hotel somewhere else. FYI breakfast close early. Supposed to close at 10 so if you sleep in and came down at 9:45, sorry, the foods are gone. Missed two days of breakfast, then finally the 3rd morning, whatever is left is what you get. The value for the inn was so not worth it. It is pricey for the poor condition and missed breakfast. I would not stay here again.

my OCD was triggered by two completely out of place Duran Duran era wall art hangings that clashed with the otherwise nicely done remodel of orange earthy tones and abstract art on other walls (even tying the bathroom and sleeping areas together). The lack of drawers was an odd choice... it seems the entertainment center looking centerpiece with TV sporting two open cubby holes was to take. the place of drawers of any kind. Great breakfast in morning with excellent view of some amazing dogs which means they are pet friendly.

Please make your breakfast better! Staff is nice but please Season the eggs and potatoes with some flavor, cold coffee, dry eggs, dry bacon, sausage and eggs had a bad smell. Whoever is making breakfast isnt doing their job good or is doing it how they were trained. Please make it better! I came back to this hotel three times and apparently no improvements made yet. Also when you serve eggs, the pans need to be washed really good and then dried before adding more eggs or youll get the smelly egg smell. You want the eggs to smell delicious, not atrocious. Just touch up these tips and Ill update review if Im back in town for another review. Yes I am a frequent traveler and stayed several times here so dont say Im not a customer. Rooms and friendly Service is improving. You also need to fix your broken elevator and side doors too. Its been over a month you havent fixed. Upped your score to a 3 from a 1. Like I said, make better and Ill up it again.

Comfy room and good breakfast. The room was very dim in lighting, but spacious. We had a king and a pullout couch luckily. We were traveling with a toddler and they didn t have any cribs or pack and plays available, at all. Breakfast was good. But one of their elevators was out of service, so going up and down and busy times was very tedious! We did not have time to visit the pool, but it was open and in use.

My boyfriend and I stayed here so that we could be close by the hospital after his surgery. We had to extend our stay two times and the staff ensured that we did not have to switch rooms. We chose the king size wheelchair accessible suite and we absolutely loved it because it has a good size walk-in shower and a living area with a couch/lounge chair. We would ve liked a little dining table with two chairs near the window but it was nice to have a television in both the living area and the bad area. The staff was always very friendly and we really enjoyed The complimentary breakfast as well. We stayed there during a time when the city froze over and the warm breakfast was very much appreciated.

give 5 stars to the hotel, its fantastic staff, cleanliness and rooms and amenities. I gave 3 stars only because I am disabled and would highly recommend this hotel to a healthy person. I booked over the phone and asked for a handicap room asked for a room as close to elevator as possible and was told all handicap rooms where right off elevator, I walk with a cane but very slow and short distance. The young lady at check-in was very nice and gave me help on restaurants that deliver. The room was halfway down the hall. The tension on the door closer was so strong it almost knocked me down with cane or rollator. I hadnt looked in bathroom when the lady at the desk called to check on me, I asked if this was a handicap room and she said yes. The bathroom was nice but had a low toilet, no grab bars and nowhere to put them as nothing was even close to toilet. Great walk in shower , again no grab bars or chair. Ok I havent been in a hotel in 4 years, Thanksgiving stay was a test. I dont use grab bars at home but in a new environment it would have been less stressful. My main concern was going to be the bed. It again was comfortable but mattress had no edge support and when you as a disabled person uses hands to push up your hand would sink ,half way in the mattress. First night I spent a lot of time in the floor, someone left alarm on at 4 am so down in the floor I go. 2nd night I piled pillows on couch, practiced getting up, no problem. Then in the morning after my second night of 4 hr. Sleep. Down I went. After exhausting myself I called desk and let them know I might have to call paramedic to help me up unless they could help. A young man came in and gave me a hand up. Again employee was great. I dont know if they think this is a handicap room or they made a mistake. The bed was my concern and definitely not the hotels fault. Again this was a test for me and have been wanting to travel but I see now I cant because of beds. I recommend this hotel highly and its kind employees. If you are someone that needs bars for assistance you better verify thats what you are getting. The room description online and under my stay on the app. described a true handicap room.

Someone had been smoking in the room I was in. No remote for the T.V. and I was locked out if my room 2 days before I was to check out. Front desk employee was not very friendly. I told her someone had smoked in my room and she handed me air freshener. I called and told her there wasnt a remote in my room, she replied well, if you want one, you have to come and get it!. It was also like pulling teeth to get extra coffee for my room. And I think people live there. While I am trying to sleep (had to get up at 3:30 am everyday), they were being loud below my window outside of the pool area. UPDATE: BECAUSE THE MANAGER SARCASTICALLY REPLIED. The front desk clerk was unable to change my room because they hotel had no vacancies to do so. I said I was locked out 2 days before I was due to leave, I didnt say I was locked out for 2 days. I had to go downstairs and get a new card. And, WOW, on the reply from this manager. Salty much?! No wonder the front desk clerk had the attitude she did. She gets it from her manager. UPDATE TO MY UPDATE: Once again a nasty response from the general manager. This time I just contacted Wyndams corporate offices about being harassed just because I left an honest review. I screen shot our conversation and will share it with them. Bless those who leave an honest review. This manager cant handle it without brow beating the person who left it. Jason H. General Manager I couldnt figure out how to reply to your response. Im pretty sure that that is why noone else has responded to your messages. I did contact the front desk. She was very sympathetic to the issue. Considering you can hear ALL sounds including every door that opens and closes, every toilet flushing, every phone call,every shower taken and everyone walking down the halls, I didnt hear the front desk clerk call their room or come by to check and ask them to be quiet. My guess is that there have been many complaints/bad reviews regarding the noise and that she knows that there really isnt anything that she can do about the noise. Realistically, the guests next to me were not being inconsiderate. They were having a conversation with normal voices and I could tell you word for word what they were saying. My guess is that the contractors jipped the hotel and did not install insulation.....That or it was chosen by the company to cut corners. The room also just wasnt that clean. There was hair in the bathroom and numerous things that obviously was not cleaned.

This hotel was okay for an overnight stay, but I wouldnt recommend it for any longer than that. Although the room itself was clean, the hall floors desperately needed vacuuming. I cannot recommend this hotel if you are looking to be able to sleep. I am laying in my room right now and I can hear everything the person in the room behind me is saying and I can hear the tv show the person on the other side is watching.
