Service is so slow. Waitresses rather be on the phone than making money. No one answers the phone for orders and the bartender is Definitely Not Licensed because they cant even make drinks right! They have to be laundering money because they dont care about the sales. Its almost always empty!

Good and bad, the first time was OK. But on tuesday the $1 taco was bad idea, they make me wait about 20 minutes plus the other 20 minutes before arrived , for only 8 tacos , I asked hfor cilantro and grill onion, they gave me the onion for $3 dllrs more, and the cilantro was the leftovers, and old lime , the manager( or owner, not sure) was there sit down, no even cared anything, she was acting like princess with her long dress ( dumb)not good!

We stopped in to dine-in late after attending the on-site carnival 11pmish. It was 95 degrees outside so we were drinking our own cold bottled water as we entered the restaurant. We were told we could not bring in our own bottled water because they sell water..... What!!?? An employee at the door said this to us with a smile on her face as well as the manager. We left to spend our money at BJs who had NO problem with our bottled water. When Los Lupes was there, it was no problem to bring in bottled water because I always buy a beverage but with this new restaurant, this is how were treated. This was our second time there and our last. Heads up customers: even though its hot outside and youre over 50 years old, you cannot bring in your own water, because they sell water!!! Just found out Los Lupes Rivieras just re-opened not far from there off Beltline..... Good! I will go back to the restaurant that respects & values their customers spending money with them without showing partiality. Adios!!

Came in for dinner, and the waitstaff was eating their pre-shift meal and wrapping silverware... probably not the most hygienic. We sat down, and they returned to eating without bringing water or silverware. Two customers at the bar had to flag down the bartender for service. After nearly a 10 min wait, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Went to Aspen Creek for a much better experience.

I like the atmosphere but the food is to expensive and not worth the price and the liquor ridiculous! 15.00 a shot of tequila! My friends and I went again but this time for a concert that canceled at the last minute. But we didnt eat there we just order some beer overly priced of course. But I will say the music was pretty good so we stayed and danced until 2.

I attended the presentation of 3 groups whose music is obviously for dancing, which was not possible, because there were too many people who could not even walk... let alone dance, the place is not suitable in addition to the quality of its small dance floor. . They were advertised with a price and when we arrived it was almost double per ticket. Adding an extra cost per table, something extra expensive since it will also be consumed on site. Check the event information carefully because they continue to bring people in even though there is no more space. Bad experience. I hope they improve their service. I ordered the churros (2 for $7.99). I ordered each kind and queso and chips. Queso was delish! Churros werent that great for the price, sadly. The place itself could be a great spot when its busy. They have a stage for live band, dance floor, plenty of seating, and a patio. Service was ok. they were rolling the silverware on the same table they were enjoying their lunch. Bar looked stocked and ready to serve. Im going to go back on a live band night for further review.

They added tip to the check but never let us have a physical copy. The waitress read back a few of the items to us & took our card & brought back the slip with tipping options & we tipped again which equals 40% tip! We met a small group of former co-workers here for a get together. Most are seniors who like to meet up every 6 months to visit and chat. My mom who has terminal cancer and dentures was extremely disappointed with her chile rellano that lacked filling, what filling was there was really hard for her to chew, and the poblano itself seemed to still have the skin on as it too was hard for her to eat. My elderly dad was burned several times as he was trying to make the fajita on the scalding hot pan since an extra plate was not brought for him to use. I had to empty one of my small plates of pico and sour cream so he could use it to make his fajita on. He had the beef fajitas, and the meat was pretty challenging for him to eat even with his natural teeth. I had the chicken chimichanga which was okay, but the chicken was bland with no seasoning. My dad got choked from the spiciness of the hot sauce, so he was unable to eat it. Yet, it saved my chicken chimichanga that was pretty bland. The music was really loud and bothersome, but we didnt want to complain. Our server Juan Quiroga seemed to have issues with understanding our table of English only speakers. However, he did pretty well with my broken and small knowledge of Spanish to figure out what the table needed. I took control of getting the servers attention when things were needed at the table like drink refills. The bill breakdown had an added 20% tip added which is not a problem, but when they brought the merchant copy it had the total including the already added 20% tip and an option to add a tip. If you are not paying attention, you will be double tipping! I noticed this and was able to save the seniors from being ripped off. This was the first time at the restaurant, and we will not be back. I think we will stick to El Fenix for our future gatherings.

Walked in, owner|manager told us it was $50 to sit down for 2 people. Server said it was fine we could come on. But at that point we felt like they were trying to scam us so we left. What kind of restaurant charges a fee to sit down. So unprofessional. They are just money hungry. So be careful. Had the fajita nachos. Fajitas were horrible, they were so chewy had to fight to get them to break off a piece and totally ruined the nachos experience when the meat comes off the chip EVERY time u take a bite. ALSO look very careful at ur receipt they AUTOMATICALLY add an 18% gratuity on the first bill regardless of the number of people but when they bring it back it doesnt tell u that, so if u are a tipper u are tipping more than double if u are a 20% tipper which is a 38% tip . Place is mid. Got charged $175 for food that should ve been at most $120 because it really wasn t all that. We didn t eat 2 plates that we ordered because they were just not good so we asked for a refund and they said they gave it to us but ended up charging the same amount of money that it was before the refund. Our server juan was the only good thing we got tonight , great service.

Very clean, friendly service from Hector. The food was fast coming to the table and the hot food was fantastic. The preparation & presentation was beautiful. Bar is nice and plenty of TV for entertainment was worth every penny. The young lady will take your picture. She will give you one free and 10.00 each additional. The price is very reasonable. Hats off to the cook & Hector,

The menu is very easy to navigate and staff are very friendly. Dani our waiter was excellent; took the time to explained on the doubts we had.. Vegetarian options: One of the only restaurant that offer a vegetable choice

My chimichanga had quezo on top and I asked for steak for the protein and man it was good ..DJ CHUY TREMENDO had the patio going with some of the best cumbia and reggaeton Ive heard he plays it all! Alcohol and bottle service are little expensive but you have a good time

Our friend who was down from Chicago wanted some good Mexican food. We hadnt been there since Los Lupes moved out. It was definitely way better than before. From the chicken fajitas he had, my wifes taco salad, and my taco and enchiladas, everyone said the food was awesome. The happy hour margaritas were pretty good as was the queso. Our little waitress was as cute as could be and with a little help with the English, did a great job. Loved how an older waitress came in to help and make sure the orders were correct. Great team work. This is now our new go to Mexican restaurant!

My husband and I love Mexican food and we ve been waiting for this place to open. Came tonight for dinner and it was wonderful!! He had shrimp tacos and I had pork guisado Salsa is delicious, margaritas are great! Excellent service too! We will be back to try other menu options

We loved coming to Los lupes Irving mall. Now it s Riviera s. It is Much better! Ahidtca, the hostesses, is friendly and has excellent people skills. Meryam, our server, has been here only 2 weeks. She was wonderful and helpful. I waited tables for 4 years getting my Bachelors Degree. I know good service. she was impressive. The margaritas are perfect. Food delicious and reasonably priced. Riviera s is now our place for good food and service.

Great food and excellent service. Had a late lunch after catching a movie. Only a handful of people but the atmosphere was nice and the music playing was enjoyable. I ordered the brisket tacos but the real treat here was the sides. The slaw, Spanish rice and refried beans were possibly the best I ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this place.

Walked in for a drink at the bar. Sat at the bar, but apparently, that particular bar in the front is only open on weekends. So a nice waiter escorted us to the back where there was another bar and lots of choices of dining. We walked in for sum drinx n ended up snacking on some really good food n drinx Definitely will b back
