i am a poke lover and this place is not it. i came at 1:30 on a friday pros: - complimentary miso, it s yummy albeit salty - option for 1 protein bowl for cheaper (don t see that often) - yellowtail option - price is actually super good, best i ve seen for poke cons: - the salmon is frozen??? one bite and i hear the icy crunch and it s super cold and i don t get any flavor. i saw a previous reviewer had the same problem but it looks like it has not been resolved. it finally did defrost at the end of my meal but there was not much flavor - canned pineapple - yellowtail has no flavor :( - portions are eh for everything tldr; try it if you like but there are better poke spots in the area. it s cheap but doesn t have much flavor that i expect in a poke bowl.

I don t usually write reviews because it s such a hassle, but I felt I had to after trying the Frisco Bowl. My husband and I had the Frisco poke bowls, and after just one bite, we were both pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The sauce is amazing perfectly balanced, not too salty, and not too sweet. It s just right. I ended up ordering it again the next day, and I can t stop thinking about it. I m not exaggerating! I hope the food stays this good forever!

My friend interned near by and weve had lunch here a couple times. The owner was very kind, restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe and aesthetic to it. Their ingredient is fresh and I like it that theres self-served miso soup. I always go for their Beef Bulgobi and Tako (Super good!!!) bowl.

This place used to be so good. I stopped in today for the regular sized Hawaii bowl I hate that the pineapple is canned, but I can deal with it. Although if youre going to charge premium price for good ingredients, actually have good ingredients. I went to pay and they tried to charge me a large, thankfully I caught it and had them change it. Take it to eat in the car because I have a call and the tuna was still frozen. Mind you, they didnt even ask if it was dine in or take out, but now Im just being picky. Called to let them know and all they say is theyll have to let it sit out longer. Hate this because I love poke and most poke places have shut down, probably wont ever be back.

This restaurant has the freshest, tastiest food I ve encountered at this budget. It s clear the owner/chef selects the ingredients that go out of the kitchen and into the line. Flavors were incredibly, service was very good, ambiance is very nice. The complimentary miso soup and water with fruit were top notch touches. Highly recommend to those that value fresh, quality food.

I usually love this place, but today was worst. Staff was very unfriendly and could barely hear him saying, showing even some frustration on his face. I was there just 30 seconds but it was long enough to make me uncomfortable and regret. After my previous review, I revisited the place. Still one associate without happy face but other gentleman was really friendly. Food was decent as usual so I am updating my review here.

This is the freshest poke I ve had in a looooong time. The Scottish salmon and tomago are delicious, and they even have Dole whip! Such a hospitable business. They are kind, give generous portions, and have complementary miso soup (at least they did the day we went!). Vegetarian options: There is avocado, a variety of veggies, tofu, and tomago- all of which we loved! Kid-friendliness: We brought our son here and ordered him the fried shrimp appetizer bowl- it was a cheaper option, he LOVED it, and it was more than enough food.

THE BEST. I have been coming here for almost two years now. I come in my lunch break. It s my favorite spot for high quality healthy food. The salmon and tuna is so incredible. Truly superb in quality. The price is amazing for everything you get. They have cucumber water, amazing sauces, complimentary miso soup for guests. Always clean bathrooms. AND the employees are always so joyful. There is love, attention to detail, and quality at this spot, which you really don t see anymore in dining. I will forever come here. I used to work for one of the people who own the place and it was not in food so I was going in blind on what to expect but I love poke bowls so definitely wanted to try it out. Needless to say Im glad I did. The owner is great. The bowl was one of if not the best poke bowl Ive had. I got half brown and white rice with crab salad, seaweed salad, bulgogi, and octopus. I was a bit hesitant as I dont like octopus as one of my primary proteins usually but went with it and did not regret it. Ofc, you gotta add that furikake and the mixins too! Unfortunately, I did not get to try the mochi ice cream as I accidentally threw it out, but yall this place is so good.

I eat here often and Im not planning to return again. The fish was still frozen when I went to eat it (I did takeout) and that is just a vile experience. Ahi Tuna and Scottish Salmon chunks should not have the consistency of a popsicle. This is the third time this has happened over the last two years...and I dont plan to try it again. Service is quite slow too, but the frozen fish is the bigger issue.

Y all this place is a SPOT. I believe it was the owner of the company himself making our bowls and he said some people would say this place was better than Hawaii and we were like whaaat no way. But very quickly into our first bite we learned he was not kidding. We had our ratatouille pen drop moment. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is nice. They give complementary sauces and miso soup. Fresh. Consistently high quality and delicious. I ve now ordered her 8-10 different times across 2 years and the consistency and quality they maintain is tangible. My husband and I look forward getting poke with a side of miso soup. My last visit I did notice the women s bathroom is very friendly family - has room for a stroller, your kids, adult and toddler toilets and a changing table with sanitizing supplies. I think it was a very thoughtful accommodation that a lot of places don t offer. Staff are always kind.

Best poke in Frisco and surrounding areas (trust me, I tried all the others). There are very few places Id drive across town in the middle of rush hour to get to, but I dont think twice when Im in the mood for poke. I like to build my own bowl (sushi rice, salmon, cucumbers, onions, edamame, crunchy onions and masago) and the portions are always very generous. Everything is extremely fresh, and I love the little bar where you can get spicy mayo, ginger, etc. 10/10 recommend!

I normally have nothing but great things to say about pure poke. But I tried to go there during the afternoon around 2:30 during my lunch hour at work. And there was no sign or postage of the store closed. But it was closed and I could clearly see an employee just sitting there. Personally feel that is rude I work in customer service there should have been a sign. So misleading & a disappointment.

Super fresh fish!! I am always very picky with sushi/ raw fish, but this was INCREDIBLE!! So much more than a typical sushi roll for the 2/3 of the price! Yummy toppings, so many sauces and condiments. They have something great for everyone. If you don t want raw, their other signature bowls are outstanding too! This place is delicious. We use to go to another poke place all the way in Las Colinas, and it use to be delicious but the quality has gone down. The fish is warm, the topics felt stale, and the overall taste is bad. But so far, Pure Poke has very fresh products and quite a few options in there side bar where you can get ginger, sauce, lemon water, etc. Highly recommended place!

Created an order on Uber eats. Once we received the food, there was a missing item. I called them and let them know, they apologized and they let me know they would call me back with details. A few minutes later the owner called me and apologized again and offered free things as well. I let him know that all I needed was the missing item and that I appreciated his gesture. Eat poke around 2-3 times a week. Found this place by chance as I drove by it. (taking home my other poke bowl from a competitor) I enjoy this place. A Lot. Like came two days in a row a lot. Definitely tastes fresh and healthy. Perfect for my post workout meal. The bowl itself costs less than the competitor I frequent, but they do charge for certain add-ins that the competitor does not charge for. (extra scoop of veggie, masago) So at the end of the day, I do pay less here than my other poke stop, but both bowls would be equal price with all add-ins being equal. Will be back again. And again. When I walked in, I was acknowledged with a quick smile and popping of gloves on wrist ready to serve me. It took a while to decide what to order as the entire menu reads EAT IT!!! After squandering 7 minutes, a local lady came in and solidified my choice, the Beef Bibim Bop bowl. For additions, added tomago, seaweed salad, all the sauces, carrots, and a water. It is absolutely mandatory that I stop here when in Frisco because the fresh ingredients and combination of flavors more than met my expectations and satisfied my late night craving. The Beef was tender, veggies crisp and fruit peakly ripe. 10/10 & highly competitive with another favorite, Maui Fresh. I recommend both but Pure is definitely

Delicious Poke! Did take out and had it delivered once and both times were great! Miso soup is great. The Frisco Bowl is delicious. The ahi tower is very good as well. The dumplings are not good. Taster like the ones you buy frozen at Costco so just skip those. The actual Poke food is great! This is by far one of the best Poke places Ive been in the DFW area. Everyone is so nice and they immediately come up to you to serve you. I go to this place at least once a week and recently have been going almost twice a week! If you come here all the time, make sure you sign up for their rewards!! You can get discounts after a certain amount of purchases. I recommend this place to all my friends and I have brought people here to eat, and all of them say great things. My daughter and I are traveling frm Wash DC and went to Los Angeles to visit family frm Los Angeles we started a road trip. Throughout the road-trip we have been eating Poke meals and by far this one is the best. Love their Peaceful Christian music and great service. I drive to this restaurant from McKinney, since there aren t a ton of options for poke east of this location. The portions and order accuracy fluctuate depending on the day. Ordered for 4 people on a Friday night and they called 25 minutes after the order (on our way) to say they were out of sushi rice. According to the staff they often run out of sushi rice on Fridays, frustrating as that s what all 4 ordered. Seems a potential solution would be making an extra batch of rice on Fridays

This used to be my favorite poke place pre-pandemic. There used to be free miso soup, free scoop of avocado and portions were pretty good. Theyve since removed free miso soup (at least from delivery orders) and the first scoop of avocado is no longer free. Have also noticed that after ordering large bowls for delivery, Id receive a half-filled bowl with mostly rice and then one or two scoops of fish (when it should really be 3 scoops for a large). Finding myself less and less inclined to eat here, despite the great flavor.

I ordered from this restaurant on door dash which I order from this restaurant multiple times a week. They put the wrong sauce on it and instead of changing it they just wrote a note on the bowl my apologies I put spicy Mayo on it. My boyfriend has a gluten allergy so I call them to double check that everything on it is gluten free and first they tell me yes and I tell them he has a gluten allergy and then he replies with wait let me check. Comes back on the phone and says no I m sorry it is not gluten free. So had I not specified there was a gluten allergy they would have lied. Then I ask why they didn t remake the bowl if they knew it was wrong? His reply is we cannot afford to lose the fish. When his correct response should have been I m deeply sorry it should have came out of my employees money Do not order here!

The staff here are very dedicated to making sure you have the best Poke bowl. They take the time to mix the ingredients with the sauces before adding it to the bowl. The prices are reasonable and there are some nice free extras available like the cucumber lemon water and the various sauces and toppings. I highly recommend trying this venue if you want poke prepared with kindness and effort.

The seafood is fresh and tastes great. A good amount of choices for toppings, I really appreciate the crab salad personally, but limited options for crunchies. Decent portion sizes but a little on the expensive side compared to other poke restaurants in DFW. Overall though, a nice place with very good poke.

Unfortunately we had an awful experience with this place. Our order was confirmed as ready after 30 minutes of waiting, but was never delivered. The only explanation was a system error, our order was canceled and nothing could be done about it because it was late and they would not be able to fulfill the order anymore.

I had to add a picture of my friends food bc i literally DEVOURED mine. Listen to me . i ordered here for the first time in APRIL 2021 and have eaten here once or twice A WEEK since. I don t even live in the area, i drive 45 mins to get here because let s face it most poke places suck or at least in my town. this is the freshest, fastest, fairly priced (keep in mind you re PAYING for QUALITY) poke place i have EVER had. i will order and order again until i die. idc. Pure Poké was an amazing and convenient lunch spot for fresh, delicious Poké. I recommend the build your own bowl with spicy tuna and spicy salmon. You can also adjust how spicy you want it by advising the staff more or less spicy. The vegetables and toppings are fresh and crisp and the restaurant itself is super clean. I will be coming back here as it is close to my office and for the quality and quantity of food you get, this place beats other Poké places in the area. The staff is friendly and quick and they also offer free miso soup with any purchase. Go to Pure Poké for a great atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommended!

On today s edition of best poke in the Frisco/Plano area I review Pure Poke. The good: by far, their branding is the best. I love their logo and building set up. They do the Subway approach to ordering. You get to see all the ingredients and pick what you want. (Other places use a check box ordering form) The spicy options have a variable spicy ness since they spice it up to order, that is really nice if you like things more or less spicy. They offer rice cracker toppings. Lots of drink options. The bad: price. Most expensive bowl yet (by 25¢) as a base price. In addition, they charge extra for 1 scoop of masago. Not having spicy Mayo behind the counter. It is an add it yourself deal. Some might like that, but if riding something to go, I just want them to add it. The taste is great and no weird fishy smells! I would return. As of now, I think here is the winner

This restaurant used to be one of my go toos for something fresh for dinner that I could pick up on my way home and not have to heat up. However, this time around the online ordering system was down, so I had to order inside. The portions were significantly smaller than the numerous other times that I had visited, but just as tasty. In other words, less food than what you would like to pay for, but it is still very very delicious.

Pure Poke is on my list of the top 2 Pokes in Frisco. This little shop puts together delicious and fresh poke offerings built to your desires with generous amounts of fish in every bowl. One thing they do differently that I didnt notice on my first visit is they have the sauces, ginger, and toppings all off to the side for self-service rather than put them in your bowl like some other restaurants. Not a bad thing, just dont forget to get that finishing touch.

I like Mini tuna towel bowl. It s spicy, fresh, and delicious. I also love to make my own bowl. We can choose all ingredients without extra charges. All the ingredients are very fresh, and we can see what they are making and doing which is great for me. This store is very clean, and people are very kind and friendly. We ve been going here since they ve opened and have tried other poke places in the frisco area. This place is our favorite and we will go only here now unless they are closed. Their food tastes fresh and they provide a lot of different options without up charging you for everything. They also provide free cups of miso soup which my son really loves. The store owners are super friendly and definitely set a family atmosphere. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to establish their poke spot.
