Went there last night for dinner and I loved it. I tried The katsu chicken, the teriyaki chicken and the shrimp. Everything was hot and fresh and the pasta salad and rice that came with it was also fantastic, I think it just compliments the protein so well. Maria was excellent and helped us out picking the best option for us. The spam musubi was also fantastic. I wish I could ve taken some home. And they also have this juice that no one warned me it was going to be so good. It s called the POG juice and I thought it was like pog as in Poggers but it s actually Passion Fruit, Orange and Guava which makes more sense! So tropical and just the right sweetness. I ll be back for more ASAP

Conveniently located next to a gym, it s a great spot for a post-workout meal. This time, I ordered the teriyaki steak and pulehu chicken, paired with their creamy macaroni. The food was absolutely delicious fresh and bursting with flavor, truly capturing the essence of a Hawaiian feast. During my first visit, I had the pork, which tasted like it was pulled right from someone s grandmas crockpot comforting and full of home-cooked goodness. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, featuring cool, breezy decor with beautiful Hawaiian photographs and striking light fixtures that create a warm atmosphere. Surfboards on the walls enhance the tropical feel, making you feel as if you ve been transported to the islands. Whether you re after fresh, authentic Hawaiian flavors or just a great dining experience, I highly recommend Mo Bettahs!

The food is good. The employee at the drive-through window did not care to help when I asked for my order to be fixed. I asked for a kids plate with chicken macaroni only. We got chicken and rice........ she ran away while we were checking our order. So I had to knock on the widow to get her attention again. I also asked for forks after waiting for a while to get the correct order. Seemed to be an issue for some reason. Idk, food was good but the price to attitude ratio is off putting. Also, the steak we order. The portion was tiny........

The staff was friendly, the steak was overcooked, and the chicken was not ready for 11 min at dinner time. The fruit flavored drink was completely empty, and soda was the only option. They werent prepared. We will give them one more chance.

I stop here frequently for work and had a really bittersweet experience. I work in the restaurant industry and know how people should be served, which was not the case with Maria. Apparently pork was the only option for meat at 1:00 pm roughly, when there are way more options available regularly. Also no rice was not an option at the time which really ruined my experience. I come here often because I enjoy the food during lunchtime. I asked why almost everything I asked for was not an option at the time and I was told we have what we have by Maria and to me personally that is very unprofessional. I did witness a great employee I believe her name was Nadia. She tried her very best under the supervision she was under and tried to make things right. She was constantly running around trying to keep up for others. I overheard her asking to put different items on the grill and make more rice and was told no not right now, in my opinion the manager position should have been flipped. I wouldn t have any complaint as long as all the staff is trying.

Generous entree portion of super tasty Teriyaki chicken. The Best Seller is 3 pieces of chicken with 2 scoops of rice and a choice of macaroni salad or a tossed salad. The 2 cups of teriyaki sauce completes the meal. Tried the Teriyaki beef and chicken Katsu. It was excellent! Now that they have the Katsu sauce, its perfect.

The Mo Bettah location off of Coit and 380 in Frisco, TX is the worst location I ve been to. I hadn t been extremely impressed since they opened this location but grew up loving Mo Bettah so I was willing to overlook some of their shortcomings. I recently was served overcooked brown rice and was told that This was normal because the rice is not cooked fresh daily and I happened to be the lucky recipient of the overcooked waste. Over the phone the manager on duty stated she would only refund me in person and only for a scoop of rice so I brought my meal back. The manager did refund me my money in the end but only after I returned to the location. Honestly, I won t be returning. I can t believe I was served this rice, it s obvious to me that they really don t care what they serve and who they serve it to.

I ordered pickup online yesterday for my wife and me - two minis, one with Pulehu chicken, the other with Katsu chicken, both with Kalua pig, macaroni salad and rice, plus a side of shrimp and a Spam Musubi. Order was ready in 15 minutes, restaurant was squeaky clean, server greeted me with a smile, got exactly what I ordered. The food? Oh, my... Pulehu chicken (with Yeobo sauce) was smoky, with a bit of char, to die for. You HAVE to try the Kalua pig - shredded, soft, tender, rich goodness that mixes deliciously with rice and the macaroni salad. The Katsu chicken was crispy and juicy, and the Katsu sauce did not disappoint. The battered shrimp had a crispy exterior and a slightly creamy interior, but it worked perfectly. The Spam Musubi was a disappointment - we should have bought ten, not one, it was so good!!! Rice was cooked perfectly, the Spam slice fried just right, with the perfect amount of sweet, savory sauce. Beyond frustrated and will be calling the owners / corporate tomorrow. I have ordered DD from this place far too many times to count. Sometimes the chicken is tender and sometimes it s more like jerky. That is beside the point this time. The last four times I ve ordered DD, they always forget an item. Two out of those four have been the Teri sauce. Why would I order teriyaki chicken if I didn t want the sauce to put on it? I called the store to ask for a manager and get this sorted out, at least some training to whoever packs the DD orders. Her name is Kristen. I m an upset customer who is looking for a resolution- four times in a row! Well, Kristen hung up on me. I called back three times and they now aren t answering their phones. She sounded very young. I am dumbfounded how anyone in management thinks that this behavior is okay! I will be calling the owners tomorrow. This is a matter of business ethics and customer service at this point. Kristen, you need more training.

I wanted to try this place for the first time and was very disappointed at the customer service. Not friendly at all and not willing to provide excellent service. Before ordering, I asked for a small taste sample of 1 of the meats and was flat out refused a small taste sample. I was flabbergasted at the refusal. I then asked about the customer satisfaction if an item was not to my liking and the young girl just looked at me like I was crazy. Never once even asked for the manager for assistance or anything. If this establishment wants to be successful they need to train their employees with better customer service skills otherwise you won t succeed. Every business should treat customers dinning in for the first time with exemplary service to wow them. That s how you gain repeat business. On the other hand, this location was completely empty on a Saturday evening, not a good sign so I chose to dine at a different establishment with better friendlier service. I might try a different location, maybe I ll have better service.

My husband and I miss our college time in Hawaii and decided to give this place a try. Ordered best sellers for my husband and my in-laws. When my FIL went to pick up the food, he was told that musubi was sold out. Since we prepaid online, the cashier had to refund us. Instead of nicely addressing the issue, he just said oh we can t give you the musubi. Here s the money then threw the cash to the counter. Flavor wise is decent, like what I remember from Hawaii. Decided to stop here because it was open and I heard they had good food. I was not discouraged. I got a three meat plate and they did not skimp out on the meat or any if the sides. I was shocked at how much food they gave me. I had enough food left over to make two whole other meals. Cant wait to come back when Im in the area again.

I ordered the Teriyaki chicken and the Pulehu chicken with rice. The Teriyaki was excellent, tons of flavor. You can really taste the grill. The pulehu chicken was a bit dry. I ended up dipping it in the Teri sauce. Service was very friendly. Limited number of booths was my only real complaint. I will definitely cone back and try the steak. It looked delicious!

Honestly, big fan from trying it for the first time. BUT don t do Drive-Thru, the quality of food was such a disappointment from my first time. The employee friendliness is amazing! But I recommend getting the food inside the establishment.

No words! Been here today (02/18) order the teriyaki mix - stk and chk. , the quality of the meal is incomparable from the other restaurants , perfectly cook both dishes, the steak is lean and thin , to me looks like bottom sirloin steak - very good quality. The chicken was lean as well and with some corners toasted giving a extra flavor. The sides was Rice and macaroni salad with a very good taste as well! Portion in the box is another really good point and on that, score a 100% as well, very well serving.

Food and service is top tier. Didnt hear about this awesome place until January of this year and I LOVE IT. I got my entire family hooked too. Meat is tender and flavorful, the inside of Frisco and McKinney locations are clean and hold a positive atmosphere. I love their drinks and the spam musubi. Everyone was nice during the grand opening, but it was a bit chaotic. The food was good, but cold. I didn t like the fact that the meals were dished out in the containers in advance and stacked up. I was a bit hesitant to eat it because I wasn t sure how long it had been sitting out. I realize they did this to save time, but due to the fact I have a food service background, I can tell you that isn t advisable

I have tried the other Hawaiian fast food place in frisco, but first time to this locatio. Ordered the mini online for pick up on friday for lunch. It was ready by the time I got there. It comes with two meats of your choice, rice, pasta and one sauce. Food was decent, nothing to be wow ed about. I may give it another try for dine in.

Mo Bettahs definitely will fill you up, even the mini-plate. The portions are generous for the price. The quality of the food is also generally good. Unfortunately, there was one visit during which I was served the last bit of chicken from the bottom of the heating pan, which was cold and chewy. Likewise, I was served steak that was also chewy. The interior decor was also artfully designed. The dining area was also generally clean, except for another visit during which I noticed sauce stains on the floor leading up to the trash can for at least 15 minutes. However, I didnt notice any employee addressing this issue. I understand that this is a relatively newer location, but more staff training would be recommended. Nonetheless, I would still return to frequent this particular Mo Bettahs!

My family and I had heard great things about this place and were really excited to try it when a location opened up super close to our home! We went last night and tried the Teriyaki Chicken, Teriyaki Steak and the K lua Pig - it was all so delicious! The portions are huge and the food is so well seasoned. Kristin attended us and since it was our first time there, she was super sweet and patient when she explained all the options to us. We will definitely be coming back!

It s ok. Chicken isn t as good as Hawaiian bros or Shaka and it s more expensive. They were also out of teriyaki (not sure how this happens when that s almost all you serve) which didn t help. May go back for the steak since Shaka is further from me and Hawaiian bros doesn t have it but for quick Hawaiian food, Hawaiian bros will still be my go to unfortunately.

I love this place. The food is way better than the other hawaiian place. The peluhu chicken is always cooked perfectly. The teriyaki beef is so good, but a few times I had a piece that was a little tough, but still very flavorful. The employees are nice and seem to be happy. I drive from Cross Roads to this location in Frisco. We need one in CR or Denton.

Stopped here after an appointment in McKinney. I wanted to try this place because there are none close to where I live. I wasnt that hungry so I got the kids plate and it comes with 1 side rice and a drink. I also ordered spam musabi. Had the teriyaki chicken and it was good. First time here. The steak and katsu were great! Alot of the chicken was waaay overcooked. A Lil dry! Easy on the grill time please. Kalua pork was extremely salty. Would have enjoyed it much better if they went light on the salt for sure. Friendly and polite atmosphere.

The food was great, but the service was not. We went inside and had to give our order for 5 people 3 different times to 3 different people. We then went to the drive through to get a take home order. That took over 30 minutes. When we got to the window, we were told it would be an additional 6 minutes for the Katsu chicken. Maybe it will get smoother the longer they are open.

It s my first time here and their food is to die for!! I had the staff surprise me with the two choices of protein for the mini plate since I eat everything. Everything I got was soooo delicious!!
