I stopped in and ordered two burgers to go. The scene behind the counter was a mess. The dining area was dirty and unkept. My two burgers took 30 minutes to prepare. Not going back.

First time visiting. Just walking up to the building, I questioned if I wanted to walk in. Signs advertising under new management, restaurants are for paying customers sign, and dirty doors made it feel very unwelcoming. I instantly questioned what was the experience going to be like if the owner felt so strongly about advertising new management...this typically only occurs when the previous management was not great. I decided since I was on a time crunch to go ahead and give it a try. I walked up to the counter, smiled and said hello to the employee behind the register, and was promptly ignored for another minute. A simple, Hello, Ill be right with you, would have been more than enough. I placed my order and as I went to find a spot to sit, I noticed how dirty the tables were. I was instantly questioning my decision. 18 minutes later, my food was finally ready. The burger was fairly bland, as were the fries. I honestly dont think Ill be back.

The food at this place was exceptional and delicious! The service was okay but the time to get our food took a while. It took a while because they make several burgers at a time so you have to wait for everyones order to be done before you get your own. The food was worth the wait but be prepared for a long wait. The place also could have been cleaned a little more. Tables were dirty and the bathroom needed cleaning. Otherwise a good place to get some food and take it home. Thank you, Wayback!

We ordered pickup on door dash. Not delivery. Had the order confirmation screen that we showed the man at the counter. Like it was clearly a pick up screen with the name on said order. (It was under my mom s name. Not mine for context) I was there prior to ready pickup time to ensure it would be fresh. The dude behind the counter had the biggest attitude about having to be there. Even with showing the confirmation screen, he made me confirm some of the food on the order for security reasons and when I started to list off a few of the items, he rudely said I didn t need to know the whole order which I didn t even list the whole order. The food was made wrong, soggy, and just messy. The food was on its side so it was just pouring out into the bag. I get the times are tough and this economy is shitty but the worker up front was just so clearly done with life. Homie needs a day off or sum. I wouldn t order food from here again based on this service. Please pay your workers more so they wanna be there and act like they give a hoot.

The burger was great. That bread just made it even better. The fries needed an extra something, but I did just get regular fries. The meal was great though!! It was like I literally made it in my kitchen. Service was quick and nice. Drink was very very good. The establishment just wasnt busy. Maybe it needs a #KeithLeeaffect...bc wow Dietary restrictions: I didnt ask if the bacon was beef or not. I was afraid to ask bc they were cooking the bacon close to the burger, I would have had to not get the burger. But had it been beef, I would have gotten bacon.

I was ordering the nine patties that were on the website I showed up, and the cashier said they are not doing that offer anymore. I talked, and I got the cutom burger for the same value as I wouldve got it; however, he warned me about the time and size I said Im aware which is good on his part but saying it 4 times is not okay its like I was going sign a waver for eating a pufferfish or something. Once I was waiting for the food he went out talking about my order calling it Ridiculous order I was sitting within 15 feet! The food wasnt cook for love it was cook for annoyed I can cook the same thing but better. Even Arbys can make a real effort on making it I would not come back for it I would rate it 1.1 out of 5

I had been to this restaurant several months ago and I enjoyed it, but this time was very different. The windows & door upon walking in, were filthy. I should have stopped then, but I didnt. The tables were not wiped down, the floor was not swept. Salt and opened ketchup packets on the floor. I didnt see this until after I placed my order. I was concerned, but wiped my area down. My food arrived. It was fresh, made to order and I enjoyed it. Upon leaving, I stopped in the ladies room. (sigh) It had not been cleaned in at least a week. Theres a worn Under New Management sign on the door...

My 1st ever try. Would say its pretty good. I ordered the cheesy burger, with added mushrooms and grilled onions, and it tasted really special. The onion rings and fries were par or subpar at best. However, their Wayback Gold sauce is really tasty. On my 2nd and 3rd try, i got the classic burger. However, i substituted everything that came on top of the patty and put mayo, grilled onion, mushrooms, and wayback gold sauce. The burger was mouthwatering! Also tried their Nashville hot chicken sandwich and oreo chocolate mud shake. Extremely juicy and overall tasty sandwich i have to say! Tried their chili cheese fries this time around as part of the cheese day. It was really good with cheese and chili pretty much covering all the fries. The number of fries was also a lot! Had there Philly cheesesteak as well with mushrooms and grilled onion. Oily n juicy and absolutely amazing. Recently, they had their BOGO on national hamburger day. I modified the classic burger to not have any of the original condiments but replaced them with mushrooms, pepper jack cheese, gold sauce, and Chipotle mayo. Its absolutely amazing n delicious. I cant think of any burger more juicy than this. Had their A1 steakhouse burger. It tasted very good and was a handful with good size and quantity. The sauce on this burger didnt feel overwhelming either.

Show up and order for my family at 230. 305 still no food and no apology or customer care from the two staff people in the office. The lady server kept saying your food will be ready in 5 min. Then I asked for refund and couldn t refund me money because she didn t have the code. Gave me cash instead. Will never be comfortable coming to this location again.

Cannot attest to service nor atmosphere because ordered Uber eats - our first order we received spicy cheese curds instead of regular and they were inedible they were SO spicy, they were supposed to be for kids. The onion rings were like literally 5 rings in the basket and arrived soggy and disgusting. My husband LOVES milkshakes and is why we ordered from here - he took one sip and wouldnt drink it. My brother and I also ordered milkshakes and they were horrible. (Red velvet and chocolate). The burgers were very bland- no condiments, not even offered on the side, the meat had just a weird twang to it I cant describe. To help out -wayback offered $13 off the next order- so I solo ordered cheese curds again&chicken tenders - I got the RIGHT cheese curds but the portion was literally HALVED from what we got previously. The chicken tender was tasteless bland and frankly pretty sad but that wasnt all. Overnight, I got SEVERE food poisoning - like literal liquid lava. I have been in extreme pain since, I dont bother to write reviews often but this place has lost my business all the way after that one.

My son and I visited this restaurant after a Dr visit at a nearby office. Initially, my son begged me for Five Guys, but he walked away saying we could come to Wayback EVERY TIME from now on. The staff member was friendly, patient, and helpful. The burger was well made and full of flavor. The sides were delicious. I was impressed with the variety for a burger joint. Definitely made me think of an old fashion type burger. Lettuce tomato pickles mustard and ketchup. French fries are delicious. Salted properly and perfectly cooked. Very disappointed with the salad we got for almost $8. The picture on their website looks like a decent salad but what we got was a little bit of wilted lettuce and a few croutons. Ive eaten at Wayback Burgers several times and it use to be one of my favorite places. Fresh, delicious burgers. They were fast but didnt taste like fast food. I was craving a great burger, so I sent my husband to pick up our favorite Wayback burgers. He brought them home. These were the most disgusting burgers Ive had in a long time. The meat, although cooked very good, was very chewy. The produce was wilted and not fresh at all. The fries and onion rings both tasted like they were left over from lunch even though my husband saw them come out of the fryer. Neither one of us ate the food. When I mention to him how bad I thought it was, (and he agreed) he told me there was a sign on the building that said Now under New Management. As far as I can tell, the new management has a lot to learn. They are NOT meeting the standards of the great burgers Wayback is known for. Unfortunately, Ive gotta find a new burger joint.

Food was pretty good, very similar to, though not quite as good imo, Mooyah. Prices on the burgers were pretty good compared to equivalent burger joints. Didnt like that they try to bribe customers into giving them high Google ratings with a $1 per star discount on verified reviews, so I didnt review them while I was there, and that cost them a star on my review.

In the hopes of a simple resolution, I kindly requested that she add the charge since it was her oversight. Regrettably, her response left much to be desired. She explained that she was unable to accommodate my request, leaving me perplexed and dissatisfied with the lack of flexibility and understanding. Feeling frustrated, I momentarily placed my call on hold and decided to ask for the order to be canceled due to this seemingly trivial $1.09 add-on. To my dismay, my entire order, totaling $12, was refunded promptly. While I appreciated the quick resolution, I couldnt help but feel that this incident showcased the worst customer service I have encountered in recent memory. To my disappointment, it became apparent that Kevin, the cook, was the one who directed the young woman to handle the situation in such an unsatisfactory manner. It is disheartening to witness an employee displaying such rudeness and a lack of customer-oriented approach, tarnishing the reputation of the establishment. It is truly unfortunate that a single employees behavior can have such a profound impact on the overall experience. The lack of professionalism, coupled with the unwillingness to rectify a small oversight, leaves me with a heavy heart and the resolve never to return to WayBack Burgers. As a customer, I believe that excellent customer service is the backbone of any successful business. It is my hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for the management at WayBack Burgers, emphasizing the importance of fostering a customer-centric environment and ensuring that incidents like these are not repeated in the future. In conclusion, I express my disappointment in the poor customer service I received at WayBack Burgers in Frisco, TX. I wasnt able to actually purchase any food from Wayback because I was told that the wait time was 40 minutes. However, Im just leaving a review here because I find it dishonest for a business to have signs out offering discounts for people who leave reviews. There are signs at every table saying that each star that you give on Google reviews will be $1 off on your order, thereby encouraging people to give 5 star reviews to get $5 off. The employees were very busy when I went so I wasnt able to bring it up to them, but I hope that the owners will reconsider such tactics and perhaps provide such great food and dining experience that people will leave honest reviews here :)

Food is good, but when I visited, they were under-staffed. Staff was friendly. They did the best they could, but there were only 2 people on shift. The restaurant itself couldve been cleaner.

The owners and workers here lack professionalism, and have terrible attitudes and service. One guy taking my order had sunglasses on, didn t bother taking my name, told me it would take EIGHT minutes for ONE hamburger, then proceeded to roam around while I waited TWENTY-FIVE minutes. When I kept asking about my order, another lady who was loafing around made the excuse that they were so busy and short-staffed. Really? 5 people in the kitchen and they re short-staffed? I watched them work and noticed one lady yelling at all the other workers. People were taking off and putting on the gloves they had just used, one lady struggled packaging every single order, and everyone who came in and or ordered to dine in had to wait such a long time. I will not be returning to this place. I make my own Wagyu burgers at home and make THREE easily in half the time these clowns make just one. Absolutely ridiculous.

I ordered a milkshake and they gave it my basically what was a half filled cup which is ridiculous. While the wait for the milkshake was not long at all (2 minutes) the milkshake tasted like nesquik powder strawberry milk. I gave it 3 instead of 2 because it s halal.

The hospitality very professional, the Way back Burger, Shake and Cheese Steak was homemade tasty and the price is worth every bite. I will return to try other items on the menu. The location is nice, but hopefully as their clients build a larger facility will be done. Ni Femi personality was overwhelming. Service was prompt, came to our table to see if everything was OK. Very courteous and will go a long way in life with his warm heart.

Just picked up food from there and it was delicious. My family loved the burgers and the Oreo shake! The fries didnt taste frozen. They were tasty. Honestly one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! My food was hot and ready for pickup and the people inside were really kind! They had live music going which was cool. Definitely gonna go back. I found my new favorite burger joint!

Natalie was very friendly and knowledgeable. She helped right away and delivered our order to us at our table with a smile. Later she came by and checked on us asking if she could get us anything else. She and the rest of the staff stayed the entire time we were at the restaurant, but were still able to make sure we were taken care of. I would suggest that you stop and try Wayback Burgers if you ever have the chance.

Im not sure if we came in at a bad time but it took around 45 minutes from the time we walked in to the time we got our food. The burgers were good, the cookies and cream shake was also great, the fries were extremely salty bordering on inedible. I think would recommend them for the food, but maybe try another location.

Natalie honestly had some of the best service I ve seen in the food industry lately. She greeted me very respectfully and kindly making my experience at way back very nice. She had great customer service, I think she should be considered for a raise.
