I love their food. The original, either beef or chicken or mix, is delicious! The staff is very friendly. One time they opened a bit late and we had to wait 30 minutes for them to prepare the food, they did not charge us at all. They are serious about satisfying their customers. I definitely am going back there for the delicious kebab!

Wow, what an amazing find! I no longer need to travel to Europe for an authentic Döner Kebab GDK has brought that incredible flavor right here to DFW! The restaurant is fantastic, with friendly staff and food that s absolutely bursting with deliciousness. My only wish is that there were more locations! DFW needs more GDKs, and I m sure other cities would love to experience this incredible spot as well. Can t wait to go back! Parking: Parking is great!!

Had GDK delivered a few days before. We had a good idea what we were getting into. All tree of us were very pleased with the food. The Doner rolls are good. Crispy with a kick of spice from pickled peppers. The original is massive. For a more moderate portion try the panini. The wall next to the table we sat at was pretty banged up. Sad to see in such a new place.

The name is misleading because Döner is NOT German. You can find it everywhere in Germany, however, it s Turkish. The Döner with chicken tasted delicious but for that price it should be filled with more meat. The bread was good, crispy and thin. Other fillings were red & white cabbage, few onions, one tomato slice. It would be nice to offer more veggies e.g. lettuce, cucumbers, banana peppers usually that s how the Döner is served (in Germany ) Spread options are spicy (it s more like a Mexican Salsa), yoghurt (not bad but little bland) and garlic . The white sauces are too solid in consistency, they re more like a mayonnaise. The place looks great, modern and clean. The veggie selection is hidden in the back, it would be nicer if it s displayed at the front instead of soda bottles, so customers can see it and decide if they want to exclude anything. There should be a station with napkins and silverware. The service was a bit slow, maybe they need a bit more time until it s smoother.

Definitely not worth the hype placed order by 8.20 pm on a Friday evening and order was ready by 9.30 pm , wait time more than an hour just checked with them the closing time is 9 while placing order in order to avoid last minute disappointments They took orders till 9pm spring rolls not available they kept jalapeño cheese poppers.Food is bland and for our disappointment fries are chewy And bitter even burnt on few.Wrap is overpriced for the taste and the dips just okay except the garlic sauce Poor packaging the three dips won t even properly sit in their spot in that box poor box design it spilled all over and messed up the box and very average taste less portions and the cheese fries the cheese turned rubbery and dry too crowded and no place to sit and dine in .. and the order queue itself is huge .very disappointed with the service Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options

Ive been looking for a doner kebab restaurant for a long long time. Doner specifically, and this particular establishment fits the bill perfectly. I once had a doner in Germany, and the original tasted exactly like it. From the french fries being extremely crispy and the sauce made with completely natural ingredients (You can see the seasoning in the sauce) this place met all expectations and beyond. Highly recommend it.

When I went there, food was amazing however service was non serious. Their spring rolls, I made an order of 3 three, they charged me for it then was like we only have one. Although, I got my money back, and not that of a big deal, but was also an inconvenience because we were a family of 10 people, and had to make do with one order of spring rolls. Some didnt even get to try it, they were good though. Atmosphere was ok, like you see in any fast food restaurant. I did go there few months ago, maybe they have gotten better on their service part. Not quite sure why but the place has taken a nose dive. I dont have it in me to give them a single star. I tried ordering via Doordash about a day before and encountered a problem after payment was taken. Got a refund, no biggie but when I arrived in person I heard that they havent had any problems with that service. Then after trying to buy a combo the young lady behind the counter said they couldnt fulfill that order because they ran out of sauce pots, despite some clearly visible on the pass behind her. So I ended up spending more money to get fries and a drink, I dont mind supporting a local business but my experience doesnt give me hope for my future patronage. My portion of the curry fries was anemic and the curry spice wasnt mixed well, what there was of it. The Kebab had no sauce I could see or taste but at least the meat and veggies were tasty so theres that after my 15+ minuet wait for a takeout order. I liked this place once. Shame to see what its become.

Steep for what you get. A combo with the original with fries and a soft drink will set you back $19. Not exactly cheap, when Kebab is supposed to be a cheap meal. The 3 or 4 varieties of fries are nothing more than the same fries just sprinkled with some seasoning or nacho cheese. Very mid, at best. The actual kebab, they need some help here. First off, they dont serve lamb. Its supposed to be made with lamb... other than that, they put all the cabbage and sauce at the bottom, all the meat on top, making the bottom 50% meatless, and vice versa. Overall, overpriced.

I would advise against going to this restaurant. I traveled from Plino to dine there, but when I arrived at 8:45 PM, I was informed that the food was unavailable and had been exhausted. I recently went to German Doner Kebab, and it was fantastic! The place is very clean, and the atmosphere is great. The staff were good and very helpful. The food was amazing and so delicious that my whole family loved it. I found a very good offer: buy one original doner and get one free, and they actually gave it to us for free! The manager was also very nice. The location is very convenient too. This Friday, the original doner will be just $5.99, down from the regular price of $15.49. I recommend this place to everyone!

Now this is the place I was looking for in North Frisco. The shaved meats are amazing, I tried the Beef and Chicken. The portions were perfect and the meats were perfectly delicious to my taste buds. I also tried one of their chocolate spread breads and it was not too sweet, which is what I like. The food there is filling and I left feeling Full, Happy ,and Satisfied. I will definitely be back again and again for quite a while. Definitely dont sleep on going here and trying a little bit of everything.

I visited this place and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. Despite not being busy, it took an unusually long time to get my order. When I finally received my chicken shawarma, I was shocked to find it contained very little chicken and was mostly filled with cabbage. I politely mentioned this to the staff, pointing out that there was hardly any chicken in my chicken shawarma. Instead of addressing my concern properly, they looked at me as if I were a weirdo and responded with a dismissive So what can I do? This kind of attitude is unacceptable. A simple solution would have been to add more chicken or offer to replace the shawarma. Instead, I was left feeling ignored and frustrated. Eventually, they did fix my shawarma, but it seemed like they were angry about my complaint. They put so much chicken in it, that I couldnt eat it at all. It felt like they were trying to make a point rather than provide good service. Moreover, the staff was not friendly with kids at all. Their cold demeanor made the visit uncomfortable for my entire family. Overall, the poor service, lack of attention to customer concerns, and unfriendly attitude towards children make me hesitant to return. The owners need to address these issues urgently if they hope to retain customers. Bad service and bad attitudes are a surefire way to lose business.

If you see that this place is classified as German food place, you will not find the traditional German sausages and meats. In fact, it was very confusing to me. Perhaps Im speaking from ignorance or from not knowing this side of German cuisine, idk. Ive been to authentic German restaurants, owned by generations of German lineage and have never seen German shwarma infused with curry in their dishes. Truly, to me, it was more Mediterranean. The place is bright, open and offers a good amount of seating. However, there is no attention to cleaning after customers leave. It wasnt busy at all when we came in, and every seating was so dirty. The young man taking our order was kind, friendly, patient and helpful in answering our questions while we made our order. The other man, perhaps the cook, in the back was leaning on the back window, between being on his phone and just waiting for something to do. This same man in the back on his phone also made it uncomfortable when we were finishing our meal. The place was empty and not near closing time. The man from the back, came to take our trays and clean our finished plates. Initially we appreciated this, but then he stood there waiting for one of us to finish the couple of bites left while we were talking. When we looked at him with a probably a quizzical look, he made it a point to say he was waiting for the last couple of bites to be finished so he could clean our trays. This was odd and rude. While this is not my palate of cuisine, I wouldve recommended it to people who like Mediterranean foods and flavors. The dishes and amount of food in each dish is decent, but the service in the end left a bad taste on our visit. I would not say not to go, I would just say understand the culture of service here and take from it what you will. Maybe it will be different for you. Its really great to see so many new eateries coming in the area. We are big supporters of new and local owned businesses. It feels unfortunate when the appreciation doesnt feel mutual. Customers help bring in other customers. Service and experience is one of those things we share with each other, not just the food. Hopefully they will see this as a view they might not have considered and be thoughtful, patient and offer a comfortable experience.

Driving along 380, we noticed the German Doner Kebab House and decided to turn around out of curiosity, as I grew up enjoying Doner Kebabs. Unfortunately they don t know their ingredients have to also be halal in order to call it an halal restaurant, eg. the cheese sauce and Doritos. They have this attitude that hey, the meat is halal so you don t have to care about the cheese being halal. Cheese is made by animal enzymes (cow, pig) or microbial organisms. They can t understand that. I d say avoid until they ve gotten their act together.

This is the worst worst horrible and extremely bad experience I have ever had from a restaurant. My husband and I ordered the diner wraps and fries. We received soggy sandwiches and no fries. So I called the store and spoke to the Manager he said his name was Dominic. He acknowledged that our order was messed up however he started yelling at me how I don t understand and that I was using a vulgar language??????. I tried explaining I was not even upset I was simply explaining how the order was wrong and as part of the customer service he should respect and let me explain that s when he put me on mute or hung up I am not sure. I really like going to this place because of the chicken. Im not much of a meat eater but I like the chicken here and this one of the few places that serves halal chicken like this. But this time I went and I ordered a Doner box with chicken and fries. I usually order a Doner box with fries, chicken, cheese and jalapenos. I dont get any cheese with this though. The problem was that the person who took my order recommended that I get the doner box with fries and chicken and then add Jalapenos. I did just that because I thought that the employee taking my order had my best interests in mind but instead I got charged with an extra dollar for adding Jalapenos and got a measly 3 Jalapenos. This time I also got barely any meat either and charging me $11.99 for barely anything is just bad service is general. Ive ordered here several times before and have gotten my usual but no cheese and have gotten a good amount of Jalapenos with my usual. I also dont know why the employee would charge me extra for something when I can just the same thing but no fries. I dont know why but the employees here have a problem with removing the cheese even though it does not charge them extra or anything. I work in food service too and know how this all works(customer satisfaction and best interests in mind are important), and removing something from a order does not negatively impact the restaurant and its end of the day salary report at all. We were so excited to eat here, but left utterly disappointed. I ordered the original chicken sandwich. The chicken was so dry it was like leather. My husband had the beef original and his was also dry, but not as much as the chicken. I ended up throwing my sandwich away after attempting to eat it. Also the overall restaurant was not very clean. At least the cashier was pleasant. We drove all the way from Dallas for an eagerly anticipated lunch. Instead we left extremely let down and we will not be back.

Walked in. No one at register. Waited about 5 mins. Took my order and I even pointed to the menu and said 2nd one from top Doner box with cheese and jalapeños. I like to order by picture. And expect my food to mostly resemble the photo. They first put fries on bottom (not side). Then meat on top (not side) and gave be a box in a bag. No utensils or anything. I asked where the cheese and jalepenos were. He said I didn t order that one. Although it s clearly on my receipt. So he left and went to the back never to be seen again. Someone else came and I said I just need my cheese and jalepenos and sauce. He put cheese and jalepenos on top of I now I had 4 layer food tower. Not what the picture showed. So I asked for the side of white sauce shown in the picture on menu. He said that doesn t come with it. The cheese is the sauce. . I kinda wanted the white sauce for meet and cheese for fries. Either way I had to eat through cheese to get to meat. Then eat the meat to get fries. I expected it to be side be side so I can enjoy both together. Service bad. Food had potential to be good. Not a fan of the food. I ordered two sandwiches and fries. Here are the reasons I wont be returning: 1. We ordered the fries with meat and cheese/jalapeños. The ratio was very off and there were about 15 fries in there. There was way too much meat and hard to enjoy. 2. The beef sandwich, with no yogurt and pickles and jalapeños. The jalapeños were missing, the way the sandwich was stuffed wasnt easy to enjoy because the meat was all piled onto the top. The taste wasnt appetizing and the bread was sweet in comparison to the remainder of the food. Overall the prices versus the quality of the food was not justified. Wont be returning.

Absolutely love the doner kebabs here! The food is always hot, fresh, and consistently made. They give a generous portion, especially with the Gym box. Most places skimp when it comes to dishes that are just salad and protein, but not GDK. The sauces are delicious, especially the garlic one. Fries are nothing special, so those are usually a pass. Otherwise, a solid place for a relatively affordable meal.

For me it was a first experience here so the decoration was pretty nice. The service on the other hand is limited, the girl at the counter efficient but should smile a little more. We waited about fifteen minutes. the original Döner bread very good the two meats good the garlic sauce moderately good. Tried this when they first opened and received 8 French fries in an order. Decided to give them another try and wont be back. Ordered online. I got to the store at the pick up time which was 20 minutes after I ordered. Somehow people that arrived the same time as me placed their order and received their order before mine. Really wanted to love this place!! I am originally from Germany, born and raised in Berlin, so Döner is my go-to fast food and I love it! I don t know if we simply picked a bad time to try out this restaurant but I thought I d share this feedback to hopefully encourage the team to make some improvements. My husband stopped here last Sunday 3/10 in the afternoon to get us some food on the way home. It took them about 45 minutes to finish our two meals!Apparently only one cook was in the front, while everyone else was in the back prepping the food, which would have been fine if he wouldn t have taken forever to finish orders. My husband ordered two GDK Boss Box Doner Kebab. He mentioned that we want them to leave out the red cabbage and spicy sauce. They were out of the Döner spring rolls, so my husband asked for a second portion of fries instead which the cashier approved and told the cook. However when the meals were finally finished, my husband noticed that the cook forgot about the second set of fries. At that point he had already started working on a different order and apparently said he would only prepare the second set of fries for us after finishing this other order. At this point, my husband just grabbed the food and left as he was sick of waiting. Keep in mind, one meal cost $18.99 which is already much more expensive than in Germany! When he got home, we noticed that the Döner still had red cabbage and spicy sauce despite him asking to leave it out. This was very disappointing as I cannot handle spice and could not finish the Döner due to that. I recommend checking your to-go order before you leave to make sure that it s done right! We might give this place another chance at some point since the part of the food I could eat (that didn t have the spicy sauce on it) tasted good, but the service definitely needs to be improved!

Wasted my money on curiosity and heres the verdict: One star for the yogurt sauce saving the wrap. Another star for the spicy fries. Theres nothing German about this place or the food - best guess is the founder may have a history of living in Germany and importing his/her food culture. There isnt even a location of this restaurant in its namesake, Germany. I was told by the cashier that the kebab wrap came with all 3 sauces and I just need to choose a sauce for the fries. The guy at the counter with long braided hair was very rude. And I am shocked that I spent $70 and these guys don t even have the decency to give even one sauce with any of the doner. Fries were stale, doner were OK . Our first doner came with stale fires and the remaining after 5 minutes. But customer service is really bad.
