Debby Mackoy was my SECOND divorce lawyer in a really long divorce... and I could not have done it without her. She advocated and supported me the whole way and made the process easy (as possible). Her support team, specifically Taryn, was easy to get a hold of and she was very patient and efficient. I would recommend her to anyone and will definable utilize them again in my next divorce.

Great job Deborah Mackoy . Takes several months , But end up the way I want it! I had issue with x not responding and ignore when I asked for medical care and military ID, also for child support(I have a full custody ). Taryn Rath always answered my questions and call me back. When people ask me about my divorce I will tell them of my horrible experience but not with my husband. There is absolutely nothing we can say thats positive about the experience with this firm. If you have an urgent case or any easy divorce youd like to process under a year do not waste your time here. I was told Id have my decree drafted A MONTH AGO, and nothing has been sent and they dont return my calls or emails. Came here because my legal insurance pays for it but I would rather pay someone than never get divorced because Im not a priority to Mrs.Qualls.

Ms. Mackoy did an excellent job for me on my divorce case. Her understanding of family law and the dynamics of the Collin County court system are second to none. The office manager and support staff are extremely diligent and go out of there way to keep you up to date with all proceedings. I needed someone not only handle my case, but also manage my expectations. I felt 100% comfortable with this group and they did a great job for me. I would recommend MHQJ&W to anyone.

LISA.IS.THE.BEST!!! It is so good to have her on your side. My case was one of the most complicated case involving international borders. I had hired another attorney before who messed it up for me. I requested Lisa to take my case on a very short notice. She was kind enough to take it. She dedicated herself to it and today the judgement was in my favor. I think we go through a very complicated and stressful period during our family law issues. The ability to make the best decisions often get compromised in such situations. We need a smart, intelligent and genuinely concerned attorney on our side during tough times. I can safely say that Ms Lisa Hernandez is the BEST FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY. I reached out to this firm for will and trust services covered under my legal plan. The officer manager emailed to ask me for my member and case number. I asked to speak to an attorney regarding the services they render and was told that without my member and case number, they cant schedule an initial discussion/consultation unless I pay a $150 flat fee. Needless to say I was turned off and did not sign up - this firm doesnt seem to understand what client or customer service entails.

Amazing and Beautiful law office in Frisco, building is new and law office is nearly palatial in appearance. MacKoy seems to really know her stuff and Im sure she is a fabulous no nonsense Attorney in the court room for her Clients. I fear that her services would have been beyond our price range and after the initial consultation she referred us to several other attorneys that would be better suited to handle our situation. So she is definitely honest and not about needlessly wasting peoples time if the show isnt a good fit.

Ive used this law firm twice for issues concerning my ex being in contempt of a court order over child support issues and non payments. The first time was with Deborah Mackoy and I was granted all back child support, unpaid medical expenses, court costs and attorney fees. Deborah was very efficient, professional and was pleased from start to finish with my results. Four years have passed since I first hired this law firm. I started having issues again with my ex not abiding by our court order. I didnt hesitate to contact this law firm and was assigned attorney Christine Qualls. Christine was professional and performed exceptional in court. Once again we were granted all child support, uninsured medical expenses, court costs and attorney fees. I wouldnt hesitate to hire Christine Qualls again for any issues that arise .

Hired Hernandez for a divorce. She did a great sales pitch when I interviewed her. She openly admitted that opposing council was going to be aggressive and will make it harder than it has to be. She knew what she was up against. Temporary Hearing. A train wreck. Opposing council was organized and executed his plan perfectly. Hernandez was unprepared and had no game plan. I had supplied her with documentation to counter opposing council. She never presented it. Following day I asked her why. She said she could not do that to another woman. Well, she had no problem doing it to me. She also told my adult kids that this divorce will probably wipe me out. I fired her. Hired a competent firm. Ultimately. I was back in my home in two months. Got sole custody of my daughter. Achieved a fair division of property. I want my money back.
