For me, this is the Best place for liver. Staff very friendly, bathrooms are very clean. For all those veterans out there, you also get a military discount. update March 5, 2023. Definitely did not want to cook. Wanted some good chicken strips. So here is where I go. Always great food and service is fantastic. Very clean area along with the nice A/C to keep cool while eating. Update: I noticed they lost or removed the Red Awning from around the building. The Chicken is still as Delicious as ever and so is the Service! Love this location. The Liver and Gizzards Combo is absolutely the best value for the price. They will cook them hot and fresh for you if you like . The rolls are always soft and warm. The Sweet Tea is....well, Perfect! Sometimes, it does get a little busy, but, with 3 drive-thru lanes and more than enough Staff...you usually dont have to wait very long. And....the restroom is always clean! Parking: Plenty of spots!

I would highly recommend Bushs Chicken for your chicken restaurant. If you have a hankering for chicken. Bushs Chicken will be the place to go. I had the 6 piece tenders meal with fries and a drink. They now have Big Red and Coke Zero and for an extra 50¢ you can get a 44 oz.drink to go with your meal combo You can more value for your money. They also offer a senior citizen discount for your meal if you 50 and older, but you have to ask for your senior citizen discount.

Got the 3 piece mix meal and my wife got the 4 piece tenders. Both meals were not fresh and had to be reheated when we got home. Tenders were rubbery and didn t taster very good. The chicken legs were alright but not worth 12 dollars for the meal.

Today is June 21. We went through the drive-through at straight up 12 noon. We had to wait for gizzards. Which I never have a problem waiting for food as long as I get what I ordered. I have no issues with that absolutely at all I was told by the general manager who took the order that it would be six minutes for them to drop some gizzards. I m like OK no problem. So we waited and waited. Six minutes. Turn into almost 20 minutes. My wife went inside, and whoever was working back in the kitchen was very unprofessional, not courteous and not what Customer Service should be when she interacted with my wife regarding our order and why it was taking so long. We as customers understand issues and things happen. But when you interact with customers, learn how to be tactful and polite because Customers who frequent this business are providing you with a way to make a living by patronizing bushes chicken. Either change your job, possibly something where you don t have to interact with people I never had issues with the quality of the food and usually the customer service is pretty decent and even an exceptional employee every now and then but this lady brought the house down with Customer Service and makes your business look bad

I called ahead to find out how much the tender Tuesday deal was. I was told it would be $17 with 2 sides, rolls, and gravy. We came to pickup our order and we went ahead and added on a few drinks thinking the total would only be about $24, they told us our total was $37. I got my receipt and saw we were charged for our sides. I asked one of the girls that helped us and she seemed irritated that I even bothered her for help. She was not very helpful and said what do you want me to do, do you want the manager Manager never came out to even speak to me, and I was just handed my receipt with no care saying it was taken care of. The customer service was poor and I found it incredibly disrespectful.

Food is usually great, they seem to run out of a lot of sides without ever filling in or replacing. The service here is dropping, sadly. The employees look miserable here. Not even a response to my hello or how are you. No acknowledgement to my cheerful greeting? Come on, you work customer service, I use to do the same, you cant let your bad day become someone elses because of your attitude. Sadly if this trend continues, Ill definitely stop coming here and find elsewhere.

This review is for all you sweet tea lovers who buy tea by the gallon. I often purchase gallons of tea and a bag of ice for my team at work. The last two purchases have been disappointing. One time I purchased the tea, my team would not drink it because of the unpleasant taste due to it being old. I had to return and get a replacement. They replaced it with no problem, which I appreciated. This last visit was when the real disappointment set in. They again gave me old tea. I told them I would like fresh tea. The waiter then brought me two new gallons which were still not fresh and told me, this is the freshest tea we can we can get for you. So just beware if you are buying tea by the gallon. I will give them one more chance, but might change my place of choice to the good ol Chick-fil-A!

First time ordering and eating the food was a disappointment. The chicken seem like it was cooked the day prior and reheated or fried again the next business day. ( made me sick ) the mac and cheese smells slightly spoiled, and Cheese sauce WATERY. The amount ordered was around $40 for everything and I would NOT come here again to this location at least. Management has to train these new employees how to properly ensure food safety and just cook the food right. Something is wrong with this place and a lot of people know it. If I can give them a rating of -0 I would.

I recently got an A+ card and an employee by the name of Brooklyn was rather rude to me saying that the 31st street Bushes in Temple does not do A+ card discounts. When she cane back to say that the fries will have a wait time, we asked how long and she said I dont know. However, my thing is how are you going to put your business on the A+ Card pamphlet and not honor the discount? If you dont honor it then dont put it on the pamphlet. We love Bushs Chicken well we did until 9/19/2022 We ordered 1- 16pc tender meal w/lg side and 5 jalapenos. The total was $34.62 yet our card was charged $41.54. When we called the restaurant a male worker acted as if he were managing then when he could not answer the questions a woman who would not identify her self immediately started raising her voice and blaming our financial institution for the over charge. She offered no help nor solution and upon calling our bank we were assured they were not to blame. Bushs lost our business we will be reimbursed. So youre the one who ends up loosing. Its a shame having hostile dishonest employees.

Ive been buying meals here at least 3 times a month for over 6 years & never had a reason to complain but with the JUMP IN PRICE for 16 small pieces that is mainly BATTER to $24.99 from $17.99 is utterly ridiculously for what little chicken you actually get once the HARD UNEDIBLE BATTER is peeled off is Absolutely Ridiculous . At least the employees are very courteous. I cant believe you raised the price that much, you could tell there were new price tags on the menu board once the vehicle moved out of the way. I didnt look at the board when I ordered because I knew what I wanted but felt bad for the young man who delivered my order when he told me how much my order was.... Even the rolls were a bit tough. I will think twice before going back for awhile unless I hear back from a store Manager or Corporate. It used to be that they were generous and would give a fair pile for the order but not anymore! Tea is better, still really sweet though, some of the wings have pinfeathers on them. Generally, the food is pretty good if they have changed or filtered the grease recently!

Out of all the Chicken restaurants to choose from Bushes is the only to get my Daughters vote every time. Chicken is fresh and crisp without the grease, rolls are soft and sweet and their gravy is a welcome change from the regular brown gravy.

Aside from the lightly/barely seasoned food and the excessive use of ice, not bad for a place that doesnt use intercoms for ordering. VERY fast service for only using four waiters/waitresses and only a pen and paper for ordering. Definitely a different experience.
