Fantastic!! Today, I had a wonderful experience at Poached Brunch. Our server, Karla, was incredibly kind, and the food was simply outstanding so much so that I already want to return tomorrow. I ordered the Philly omelette, while my husband chose the bacon Benedict. Both dishes were fresh and full of flavor, and the accompanying potatoes were especially memorable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. I m already looking forward to my next visit. I m so glad to have discovered such a delightful brunch spot in the area.

Great food (lots of good meat on their meaty omelette for me, but lots of other great options too), great service, great music. If youre concerned about seed oils, you can ask them to cook in real butter and theyll be happy to. Good place to work at and get coffee. Karla gives great service. Do not recommend coming here. The bathroom was not well kept. I had to tell an employee to refill the soap and paper towels. Very bad experience will not come here again. Horrible management, they treat their employees with little to no respect. I saw one of the managers speaking to a staff member and I was shocked and horrified at how the interaction went. I cannot in good conscience give money to a place with such low moral. If you can t treat your employees with respect then get a new manager or the place deserves to be shut down. No one deserves to be treated that way when they are at work trying to make money for a living. It s downright inhumane.

There are no gluten free, dairy free, or vegan option. The hashbrowns were very greasy. Food was rather expensive for what you get. There is rarely a host to work the register, so I waited a while to pay for my meal despite being acknowledged by multiple servers. Vegetarian options: Only a veggie omelette and veggie skillet.

I had high hopes for Poached Brunch House, but unfortunately, it didn t live up to expectations. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, and it was overwhelmingly salty to the point of being hard to enjoy. This is a 5 star brunch place for me! The atmosphere and service are great we were on a waiting list but the wait was only 10-15 min during the busy brunch hours. My wife and I shared the chicken and waffles. She gave it a 5 for presentation, I gave it a 5 for taste and portion. For those who have a hard time choosing what to eat, their menu is not too overwhelming, but for those who like options, they still have a very nice selection. We will definitely eat here again and explore the menu further!

Ive been a frequent visitor to Poached Egg and have always considered it one of the best brunch spots in Frisco. The food has consistently been great, and the service has usually been friendly and professional exactly what you d expect for a family-friendly place. However, todays experience was unfortunately a significant departure from the norm. We had a server who we had never encountered before, and she completely turned what was supposed to be an enjoyable family meal into a rather unpleasant experience. She was incredibly rude and made inappropriate remarks, like questioning who would drink the kids drink that we paid for. When we pointed to our oldest child, she responded with a blunt and disrespectful no. Throughout our meal, she seemed more concerned with monitoring who was eating what rather than ensuring we were having a good experience. This kind of behavior is completely out of line and not what weve come to expect from Poached Egg. While all our previous visits have been positive, this incident has left a bad taste in our mouths. I sincerely hope to never have this server again, and because of this, we re likely to stay away for a while. Advice for management: please make better hiring decisions and ensure your staff is properly trained. A single bad experience can easily undo all the good will youve built over time.

I visited the brunch place today, and although the service was okay, it wasn t the best experience for me. The food was decent, but they got the dressing on my salad wrong. We were left waiting at the entrance to pay, despite the restaurant being relatively empty and didnt seem understaffed. Also, the restrooms werent in the best condition. Our waiter was friendly, but overall, I wouldn t return to this place.

had a truly traumatic experience during my recent visit. I ordered a latte, but what I received was just a warm coffee with a splash of milk and no foam. When I switched it for a black coffee, the cup came with someone elses lipstick on it completely unacceptable. The side of pancakes I ordered arrived without butter, and midway through my meal, I decided to use the restroom. To my horror, it was in an absolutely disgusting state, like an explosion had gone off. It completely ruined the rest of my meal. To make matters worse, the staff seemed indifferent, and there was no manager in sight to address these issues. I m incredibly disappointed and won t be returning.

We arrived to find a line and were told 15 minutes, but we were seated much sooner than that. And although it was very busy, our service wasnt delayed. The food was fantastic and we are looking forward to visiting again to try more of the menu. We tried the Eggs Benedict and the chicken and waffles; both of which were delicious. Amazing brunch spot! We are pretty picky and most brunch places have the same menu full of unhealthy options. We are so glad we checked this place out today. Their tomato avocado toast was so fresh and delicious. Love that it s served on whole grain bread! My hubby got the shakshuka and it was good too! Good food, actually great for kids as items aren t too salty; great atmosphere. 2 star is for the tips, it s called service charge and it was calculated before tax. Isn t all tips after tax? customer will be more appreciated on a honest owner. Also the receipt could be more clear on the % added on the tips, not just another line item without details. The menu is quite diverse with lots of options and additional sauces/toppings, long list of sides. The Monterey Omelette with Poblano cream sauce was phenomenal! The veggies and meat in the omelette was very tasty and the eggs were nice and fluffy. The Shakshuka was amazing too. I am new to Texas, just moved here from south Florida and had heard about this place. I came in and was seated, the atmosphere was nice and the server was excellent. I order the shrimp omelette with potatoes and it comes with pancakes. The omelette was very good as well as the coffee! The coffee is AMAZING. The pancakes were not as hot as I would like them or the potatoes. However, because the omelet and coffee was so good, I came back the next day with my sister and brother in law and the food was really good. Potatoes were hot and the pancakes were as well. The server was even better than the first. My family enjoyed there food and I will be back again!

To be transparent, I did not end up eating here. Walked in to the place half full since its only 45 minutes before closing. The hostess goes and starts to sit us at a table in the middle. I said, Excuse me maam, can we please get a booth instead? There were a couple people sitting over there. Its basically kind of a 4 foot tall partition separating 1/2 of the dining area from the other. She said, No, were closing that side down A server literally would have had to walk another five or 6 feet to serve us in a booth on the so-called other side. I said, Never mind, well go somewhere else , and we walked out. Food may be great, but sometimes its one strike and youre done, sometimes people dont have the patience or tolerance for stupidity.

First, they have a machine to freshly squeeze oranges but they only serve only refrigerated one, they refused to get a freshly make one not sure why this is a problem when there s a machine that can do in few seconds. We re told the manager refused to use the machine to freshly squeeze the oranges Second, this is a second time.. when ordered an avocado on the side there s an inconsistency.. once we received a full, the other times they did not look fresh and most recently we only got a quarter of dead blackened avocado. Excellent service, we were greeted and seated immediately. Food came out very fast. The food was not bad, but it wasnt necessarily good. Very bland. The fresh fruit was by far the best thing and it was very good! I had the salmon avocado Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce had no flavor. Today was my 1st time and DEFINITELY not my last to have brunch here. From the moment you walk in, youre greeted warmly and feel welcomed from the people up front. The entire atmosphere is happy, welcoming and very clean. I love the menu and will forewarn you to prepare yourself as they have many delicious options. Ive visited many other places for breakfast/brunch and Poached Brunch House has knocked it out of the park for customer service, freshness of food and atmosphere. One of the the best part, is the coffee-its NOT cheap burnt tasting. They serve LavAzza, a quality and absolutely tastey coffee! The server which helped me, which shame on me for not getting his name, he was very helpful in assisting me in making a decision for breakfast. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy which was amazing. The gravy was fresh and warm and the biscuits were fluffy including the eggs made perfectly. I couldnt get enough and they are extremely generous with their portions. I truly appreciated how my server didnt hover and came at the right time to ask if I needed anything. I am beyond thrilled that our neighborhood FINALLY has a fabulous place for not only brunch for lunch and dinner as well! Thank you for making my 1st time an incredible experience. If you havent tried this place, please do so as youre missing out and is an ABSOLUTE MUST. This will definitely be my go to place.

I wanted to love this place. But as soon as I got the bill and saw the random surprise of charging me 50 cents for Ranch I lost it. The waiter never told me of this charge and the charge for a condiment is not on the menu. Because of this, we will never come back. The waffles were also tasteless. Does the perfect brunch place exist? I think I might have found it. There are a lot of delicious goodies here, along with healthy options and a few kinds of mimosas for that treat yourself vibe. I had Autumn as my server, she was very informative, and always kept my water topped off! Even though I came around 1 I could tell the food was fresh and not just kept on a warmer in the back. I had fresh fruit which was cut in the back and not frozen it was all crisp and not a soggy mush that you can expect to find at a lot of other places. the veg skillet was sublime. The poached eggs on top were perfect! Exactly how they should be with gooey centers but just firm enough.the potatoes were super good the seasoning is really nice and all the veggies refreshing. I also had the apple cinnamon pancakes they were so yummy. Although to be honest the pancake would have been pretty yummy naked too it was crisp on the edges and soft in the center. The peach juice was so fresh and also worth a try. Overall Id vote this place a 15/5 stars if I could!

Didn t know what to expect with this place but I have to say having been here twice now I can safely say it s our new favorite! The food is delicious and the presentation is top notch! I expected it to be more expensive than other breakfast places but it s on par with those who s food or presentation doesn t hold a candle to this place. Service has been friendly and prompt, particularly Autumn. She s just amazing!

Interior of the restaurant is very basic - tables and Edison lights. No divider to break up the room, no interior walls to stop the cold draft from blowing into the two doors that are right next to the tables. Service was fast and waitress was friendly. Coffee was on the strong side but OK. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were awful, looked and tasted like a canned product. The gravy was very bland and forgettable. Eggs were slightly undercooked and I didnt eat most of them. The potatoes were good but Im not sure if they were also a premade item. Price was reasonable for the large portions, but not sure Id return since the food was not the best.

One of my favorite breakfast places to eat. Weve enjoyed every item weve ever ordered. The staff is fantastic. Very friendly and professional. The ONLY thing that needs to be addressed is the NOISY atmosphere. They need to add some sound dampening. Its very, very loud. At times, you can only have a conversion by yelling, which adds to the noise level.

Update: Poached continues to be my FAVORITE breakfast place in the area. I still crave their biscuits and gravy every morning! I m so happy this restaurant and its employees exist! Ps my daughter loved the teddy bear pancake. It s all she ever wants now. I visited Poached for the first time the other day! Every time I drove by it, I continued to tell myself I d try it, and I m happy I finally did! They had parking right up front, and as I walked up to the door I could see the hostess smiling at my. ALL THE WAY FROM OUTSIDE. She made me feel so welcomed, and honestly her smile made my day. I love being greeted like that! My waitress was also top notch! She gave me an idea of what to get and even checked on me throughout my entire visit. She felt more like a friend. The restaurant was clean, food was tasty, and service was AMAZING. I can t wait to go back! Shout out to Allison and Katrina for making my first experience a good one! I will be back for more, and I ll bring family and friends next time. Parking: Seems to be plenty of parking! Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly!

The food was great but the service was TERRIBLE. They took our order delivered the food and we never saw the waiter again. We had to go up to the hostess stand to ask for silverware and again for refills for our drinks. 30 minutes passed and we had to go back to the hostess stand to ask for napkins and maple syrup. I m not kidding when I say ask for everything you need when your food is dropped at the table b/c you will not see your server again. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and an automatic 20% gratuity charge was added and taxed. I m all for tipping 20% or more but not for subpar service. We won t be back.

My family and I enjoyed our first visit to this establishment. There was a bit of waiting, but they had plenty of staff on hand to make the waiting to minimum. The food portions were very generous.
