This tiny place is about the size of a walk-in closet. The Cowboy Channel advertisements make it seem like a spacious bar and grill with wonderful atmosphere. The female bartender immediately told our group upon entering that all they serve is beer and liquors. No food! The only bright spot is they did have many TVs on the wall showing rodeo content. We only stayed for about 30 seconds since they had nothing to offer us. We cant express how disappointed we were with our visit here since were huge fans of the Cowboy Channel. We really feel let down.

Bri the bartender was amazing and so welcoming to us. Even as tourists we were treated awesome great drinks n people. If your from the east coast and west coast sorry folk they aint got no crying room. Bring your kids family n friends try the jalapeño margarita soo good

First of all I would like to write here again that I put a review here about a week ago how we were treated (DEFINITELY WE WERE DESCRIMINATE) (TOTALLY RACES BARTENDER GIRLS) and by the cowboy guy inside the bar (not the cowboy guy outside the door) AND THEY DELETED MY REVIEW.....MY QUESTION IS WHY???? BECAUSE THEY KNOW IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPEN!! I REALLY HOPE THE CEO TAKES A LOOK AT THE BAR HOW THEY TREAT PEOPLE THEY ARE RACES WORKERS IN THIS BAR.

I do not recommend this bar if you are a tourist. My wife and I visited the Stockyards in Fort Worth during our trip to Texas. We wanted to grab a drink and went to the Cowboy Channel. This place was mostly empty on a Friday night compared to other bars in the stockyards. My wife noticed an empty stool at the bar and went to sit down. The brunette bartender disrespected my wife and gave her an attitude when she sat at the bar to order a drink. Attitude for absolutely no reason! We noticed she then walked away and was laughing with other customers. We kindly walked out. I read the other reviews of this place and similar negative reviews.

The aesthetic of the place looks great, but the staff is TRASH! Brunette bartender gave my group attitude the whole time when we walked up to the bar, yet you see her smiling at other patrons. This staff needs help with their customer service skills! So fair warning that they may not like people of color. Spend your money elsewhere.

This bar has so much potential. We asked the bartender to play music and were told that they re only allowed to play cowboy/cowgirl channel which plays repeat rodeo and infomercials. I would spend so much more time at this bar if there was music to listen to while I drank!

Drinks are really good but for 2 blue Hawaiins drinks, bloody Mary, and a Corona it was nearly $62 without tipping just drinks at that point. Bar tender was awesome. Would go back if the drinks werent so high.

DO NOT GO HERE, DO NOT TAKE FAMILY OR FRIENDS HERE. Similar to other reviews, I had friends in town from New Jersey, DC, etc and I took them to stockyards to see how it is. We went here and the white bigger baldish man stated my friends license was fake even though he had no light, no scanner. He apparently had enough knowledge to state an ID is fake yet the government scanners at TSA airports and the police cars all verify it s real. The other server white server was also so rude and rolled her eyes and just threw the card after we ordered 1 drink. We told him we can ask a cop to verify it or show him a picture of a passport and he said no cop would care to. Later we spoke w an officer who offered to take us. We were the only people of color in the bar and he refused to listen to us or look at her other official government documents even her passport she had a photo of. We felt extremely discriminated against as we saw others were not treated the same way we were. The stockyards are beautiful with many other great places that are not racist with great atmosphere and servers. Do not go here and waste ur money on the same alcohol you can get else where. Pathetic disgusting people extremely disappointing.

Came in on Friday 11/24/2023. I was here with my sister- its her favorite bar in the Stockyards. Usually its a great experience. Well, not this time. This has ruined the Cowboy Channel Bar for us. Your male bartender with the beard (thinks hes a tough guy, Im sure you can figure it out) denied my sisters REAL, Colorado state- issued ID. Shes well over the legal drinking age. He had a terrible attitude, and wouldnt even hear us out when my fiance and I tried showing him our also real, Colorado state issued IDs. THE EXACT SAME ID STYLE!!! He said that hed accept mine but he didnt like my sisters so she wouldnt get served. I have no idea how you do your training here, but this is absolutely ridiculous. At least dont be such a jerk about things. I understand that you have the right to deny service- but you also have a responsibility as a bar to provide at least half decent customer service and be trained correctly when it comes to checking IDs. Go to the Longhorn Saloon or Basement bar. Better, cheaper drinks, and much more friendly staff. Do better.

They dont serve food but you can get food from the Love Shack next door and bring it in (highly recommended). The Rhinestone cowgirl frozen drink will not disappoint. Yum! My boyfriend from Ireland was able to get a Guinness. Theres a decent selection of beer, but I would just love it if they had Modela Negra. Its the perfect place to get a drink, cool off, and watch some rodeo.

YIKES! Me and a few of my friends had never been into this bar so we decided to take a look around. When we walked in the bartenders asked for our IDs. We all gave them our IDs no issues. They seemed nice and we talked for a second. We then immediately proceeded to go to the downstairs portion of the bar using the stairs INSIDE the bar. When we walked through the basement level another bartender barked at us to give them our IDs. We hadnt even been in the bar for five minutes and got ID twice. We handed them our IDs once again. I had made a remark about just being IDd and not even attempting to order a drink yet. The bartender was extra sassy handing our IDs back haha. We all felt the vibe be immediately killed so we walked out. This bartender felt obligated to come out from behind the bar to walk us out. There is a reason this bar is empty on a summer saturday night. Maybe be more kind next time to customers. Went down the street to Second Rodeo Brewing instead.

The most lazy and disrespectful staff I have ever experienced. With one hour left until last call my wife s state issued ID was turned down because it was almost closing time, and her last name was not the same as mine. Cowboy channel bar needs to seriously consider getting rid of their lazy employees if they care about customer service. Would give 0 stars if I could. Completely useless staff.

Mia ROCKS!!! Loved this bar. My boyfriend and I spent a significant amount of time there for the NFR Finals watch party. We enjoyed comfortable seats in a truly unique atmosphere. They know how to show their customers a FINE TIME!!!

Nice place with very comfortable seating. Furniture, at least some of it, is from a local furniture maker. The place is clean and staff is friendly. Recommended stop in the stockyards. Get yourself a vodka red bull slushy and relax on a hot day.

This place was the best bar we went to out of all the bars in the area, the musics wasnt blaring Loud to where we would barely talk, & it wasnt overly crowded, plus the seats at the bar were really comfortable! The service was great also, the lady and gentlemen working on the night of 7/16/22 need a raise or something.!

Nice clean bar with nice decor, seating and TVs, which all were set to RFD and rodeo of course. Friendly barkeeps and mgrs. Its well lit if dont like dark places. Bar was hopping but they have high tops, cushioned chairs and wall couch/bench for more intimate or small group affairs. Drink prices werent bad. They sell John Wayne memorabilia, T-shirts and stuff, for those interested. Bathrooms clean but weirdly designed. Mens has toilet and urinal but no divider so everyone treats it as single occupant locking others out. Would make more since to make bathrooms unisex and install divider. No need for a line of people who then just take turns using whichever one opens first cause people have to go! Lol There may be a secret room downstairs that is invite only.
