Mr. Gregory and his entire office was nothing short of amazing with helping me with my disability case. Of course there were times when they didnt call me back right away but I understood the work that they do and they dont always have the answer right away. I never had any issues with them responding back to any contact I made with them even if it was a short wait. They were really helpful in making sure I filled out all information correctly and efficiently. It was a nervous wreck going through this entire process but after a 3 year battle I finally won. Mr. Gregory was there for me on the phone hearing with the law judge and helped prepare me on what to expect when the hearing came up. His wife is really knowledgeable as well and knew answers to any questions I had. His staff was always courteous, helpful and polite when I called and I couldnt have asked for more. His job is a tough one dealing with all the intricacies of SSA law but he knows his work, the law, the ups and downs with it and how to proceed to getting the best result he can. I was told before contacting his office that I could proceed without a lawyer. I didnt want to take this chance and knew I would have issues likely with getting the information right. What helped me out was having all of my medical records from VA and civilian records when I met with him because I had just used them prior for filing with VA disability. Even with the initial set of records SSA is always needing updated records as you are seeking out treatment and they made sure to get any updated medical records as I sought treatment and always asked if there were any new doctors I was seeing from the initial application, etc. And even if you have all the records from the start it is still a grueling process of applying, being denied, appealing and being denied and then waiting to see the law judge. Hearing finally came up and estimated 3 month turnaround time for judges decision. We received it within 45 days which was great. Mr. Gregorys office contacted me of the result and called me beforehand letting me know SS was going to be calling me regarding other information needed. All I can say is if you are looking for a GREAT disability lawyer that services a big area in Texas and knows his job then his office is the one to go to. He told me at the beginning that he cared about my case and he has been 100% honest with that statement and never budged from it. And it is also great that he has a sense of humor that I havent seen many lawyers have which was refreshing.

In June of 2022, I had a weather related motorcycle accident, The hospital to me that all kinds of problems I was having with my body, so couldnt work. Hurting all the time. Applying for disability is like going into battle and the worst part is that you are already fighting a daily battle with your body and/or mind, just to get through the day. I knew that the battle would be long and hard, but it took over 2.5 years and Im not sure that I would have even stuck it out if it wasnt for Mr. Gregory and his staff. They are wonderful! I didnt know what to expect when we started this journey, but from the very first consultation, he made me feel comfortable, informed, and prepared. It has been a long journey, but after fighting for about 2 ½ years for my husband s disability, he won! After the first time my husband was denied, we decided to hire someone to help us fight for it. First off Ill say, it was a stressful 1+ year. If your thinking of getting an attorney, you should! Although youll have an attorney, youll have alot to do. It all depends on you! I chose Daniel because of his reviews. I was told at time of appt, he normally does not accept initial application clients and usually only those who have been denied. When I met with him, it was a very long meeting. At the end of the meeting, he accepted my case. I was very hopeful. He and his office have many years of experience and Id definatly say, listen to him and follow his advice. This entire process is stressful, time consuming, frustrating and sometimes aggravating, however, they are the experts. Daniel is very kind and helpful. The office staff is also helpful. Prior to hiring Daniel, I had been trying on my own and also with the aid of another attorney to win my case and receive disability with no success. Then I met Daniel Gregory! I am so very late posting this, but I wanted to tell our story. My husband has been suffering with psoriatic arthritis since 2011. He was ultimately out of a job for 10 years. We filed for disability, and were torn apart by the social security administrations system of continuous denial. Fast forward, we were at our last chance. Our very last opportunity to get my husband the help that he and our family deserved for so long. Enter Mr. Gregory into our life. We applied for Disability for my husband in 2019. He was denied. In 2020 we appealed and he was denied. The main reason was lack of medical history. (Due to not having insurance and unable to afford to go to Dr after Dr). His SS Insurance coverage ran out in December of 2020. In 2021 we contacted Daniel and set up a consultation. He started the process of the court hearing. He also sent us to a specialist and had testing done. We requested an in person hearing, so it took until 2023 for the court hearing. Daniel drove an hour and half to come to our city where the hearing was scheduled. He helped my husband to know how to answer the questions the judge would have. After the hearing everyone felt good about it, except there was still the issue of lack of a long medical paper trail. So we waited....... About 4 weeks later we got the news.... The judge found in my husbands favor 100% and found him disabled starting June of 2020. (While he was still insured) He got back pay for all those months. We could not have done it without Daniel. I started my disability claim with Daniel Gregory and his staff just after covid and they quickly provided an environment that made me feel safe and separated. During our initial meeting he went though my reasons for why I thought I was disabled and he quickly told me why I would not win presenting that case and we needed to focus all our efforts in another direction I would not have thought to go. He provided questions I would never have thought relevant to a disability case. I was always focusing on can I work and he explained that is not what they are asking, and helped me answer the question properly, how my disability is affecting my home life not my work. The first two cases were denied, next step was the judge. We spent about 3 hours going over what would happen, how to act, and practiced answering some of the questions for the hearing. Another denial, Mr. Gregory appealed the decision and we were assigned another judge. **Edit 7/19/2019** ***After 2 years from the initial file - the hearing decision, Mr. Gregory and I went to a hearing and received a fully favorable decision!! This would not of been possible without him and his amazing staff! Everyone in the office is beyond amazing! Thank you so much Mr. Gregory & your entire office staff!!! And most importantly, you are treated as a person and not just a number*** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The most caring attorney I have met. I just started my journey with him but after the first meeting I knew there would be nobody else Id trust to help me with my claim! God surely guided me and Im so blessed to have found Mr. Gregory. I was literally tired of trying to prove my illness to Social Security...I had a 2 month window to get prepared to go in front of a judge...I went into my consultation w Mr. Gregory not expecting much I thought I know Drs and there gonna be the ones who help me why do I need an attorney...after a 3hour talk that seemed like 15 minutes I was absolutely blown away...I had been thru cancer, back problems, and now a heart issue...and I thought I knew what I was doing...I left that meeting embarrassed of my stupidity after he showed me what these Drs were writing in there reports, to some degrees of major deals if a judge were to read that report...so he told me what I needed to provide on my side remind u I only had 2 months to get years of paperwork correct and have some major test done...he told me exactly what to do...to make this a lil shorter...I just opened my SSI disability letter telling how much I was going to be receiving July 1st...my court hearing was April 28th...if it weren t for him showing me what I REALLY needed from my Drs...If u talk to a Dr. and they tell u oh I ll write u a letter saying u cant work or anything along those lines it will not help u...U need a lawyer and Mr.Gregory did in 3 months what no Dr. has done of 20 years of not having insurance and I m not even 40...he got me not only Medicade that will pay off 100 of thousand in hospital and Drs fees and from now on I do not have to worry about...oh I can t go see this Dr b/c I can t pay...easily over a million that I will need for hospitals in the future but I now get a disability check that I didn t know was an option...It may sound cliche but he literally saved my life in 3 months after 3 years of trying to take on SS myself...I only have 1 regret and that was I didn t talk to him 3 years ago...He will have u shaking ur head at what some great Drs I thought were gonna lead my charge were really doing...the answer is a Dr is a Dr...if ur dealing w SS on anything u need J. Daniel Gregory...if u do what he tells u...u will win...He s a great guy, so to anybody who s looking into trying to get SS stop and setup a consultation...I don t care if u haven t even made first visit w SS or ur like I was on my final leg u need a professional on ur side I m telling anyone reading this u might think u know what ur doing but SS will buzzsaw u w/o looking back...so to end this I came within 2 months of being buzzsawed over but I went and talked w J. I kept going through large disability offices that treated me like a file instead of like a client. I never saw or spoke with an atty until it was time to see a judge. These attorneys had never seen my file until 30 minutes before the hearing with the judge. As a result, I was denied repeatedly for 8 years. One day, I was discussing my situation with a friend and she told me about J. D. Gregory. I finally agreed to go see him and what a difference! Disabilitly is a really hard process, but Daniel Gregory and his team were by my side the whole time. We had to wait over a year and Mr. Gregory had to file a lot of appeals, but he did a great job. What a terrific job Mr. Gregory did for us. Social security seems set up to just wear you out with bureaucratic challenges. Mr. Gregory took my case, explained what was going on, and explained the things that needed to be done that I didnt even know about. He helped me get my full disability. I just found out my case was approved. God bless Mr. Gregory. I was turned down on my initial application and my reconsideration. It was very disheartening. Daniel is an attorney who is passionate about his work. I would have given him five stars if I lost. He does not treat you like a number. He is insightful and a thinker. The law office of Mr. Gregory has many 5 star reviews. Im very skeptical person, but when I read those 5 star reviews, I realized those are true stories with the true details just like Im going to write my true story as follow. Long story short, my CA attorney dropped me when I got schedule for the hearing. I called the SSA myself. I was so confused, the lady has no clue what I talked about and I didnt even know what I was talking about. But she was very nice, patient. She adviced me to find another attorney in FW. Easter Sunday, I was so sad, after praying to God to help me, I googled SSDI attorney near me. J. Daniel Gregory law office came up as the closest one. I wrote the brief message of my situation. To my surprise, someone replied to me after a short time (on the holiday weekend). Monday, Mr. Gregory and his team gathered all of my information, medical record and working on my case quickly because we only had less than 2 and half months to the hearing day. In the meetings with Mr. Gregory, he worked hard, worked fast and had knowledge about medical. The hearing day came, everything went good. He even called and paid for my Lyft ride home. He and his assistant left after they made sure I got in the van. The CA attorney dropped me causing me much more confused, distress and depressed. Mr. Gregory and his team stepped in, helped me went through the most difficult part. And we had a happy result. The nice judge awarded me my benefits. I thank God helped me to find him. I highly recommend him and his team to anybody who needs the good, hard working SSDI attorney. I will recommend his office to my community as well. Hes also a family man who loves and proud of his children and his wife. He wife, a nice young lady, sometimes comes in and helped the office, too. He may be a great attorney, but the way they handle phone calls most will never find out! My initial appointment was helpful with them telling me what information I would need from the social security office. I was then told to wait until I had everything and then call back, thats when the great service ended. They never even looked at my case to see if they could take it or not. I just got the run around on the phone several times before finally giving up.
